Over 5,000 Congregations Break Away From United Methodist Church Over Pro-LGBT Stance

Resistance to the LGBT agenda now spans legislatures, schools, and churches across the country and world, bringing division among Catholic and Anglican bishops, and now among Methodist pastors as well.

More than 5,000 congregations have left the United Methodist Church (UMC), the second-largest Protestant denomination in the U.S., over its pro-LGBT stance. The “disaffiliation” movement saw churches leaving in droves over the past several weeks, with UM News, the official news service of the UMC, reporting the disaffiliation of 5,458 churches just this year and 25,500 Methodist churches remaining.

According to reports, the mass exodus of Methodist churches comes after “liberal leaders in the UMC disregarded a 2019 vote upholding the church’s ban on ordaining LGBT clergy and officiating at or hosting same-sex weddings.”

In 2022, Fox News reported that “several conservative members of the Methodist clergy” stated that “far from settling the issue, however, the 2019 vote was disregarded by many liberal leaders within the UMC who decided to remain in the denomination while commissioning openly gay clergy and officiating same-sex weddings anyway.”

In 2019, the Methodist General Conference also “approved a church law allowing UMC churches to leave with their church property if two-thirds of their congregation and regional governor body approved,” paving the way for the current mass exodus over the open acceptance of the LGBT agenda. American Medical Association Recommends Against Using BMI Due to Its ‘Racist’ History

The American Medical Association (AMA) voted last week to recommend against using body mass index (BMI) as the sole measure for healthy body weight partly due to its alleged “racist” past.

The organization claimed that BMI had caused “historical harm” and has been used for “racist exclusion,” according to the AMA’s website. They also said that relative body shape is important to consider “across race and ethnic groups, sexes, genders,” and that BMI has a history of being used in relation to eugenics, arguing that medical professionals should consider not using BMI as the sole measurement of healthy weight.

BMI is a measure of body health that uses height and weight to calculate a number that determines if an individual is underweight, a healthy weight, overweight or obese, according to WebMD.

Zelenskyy Again Says That American Kids Will Have to Die if Ukraine Loses War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned in a television interview on Thursday that the United States could face the “collapse of NATO” or a direct conflict with Russia if Ukraine does not win the war.

Zelenskyy’s comments come less than four weeks before a NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, where support for Ukraine will be a central topic on the agenda for the military alliance. President Joe Biden is also expected to announce increased security guarantees for Ukraine ahead of the summit in July.

Speaking through an interpreter, Zelenskyy issued a stark warning to any American politician or 2024 presidential candidate who is skeptical about providing more aid to equip Kyiv in its war against Russia.

“Is he ready to go to war? To fight, to send his kids? Are they ready to die?” Zelenskyy asked. “Because anyway, they will have to do this if NATO gets involved.”

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner in the 2024 presidential election, would not commit to supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia, during a CNN town hall last month. More Voters Increasingly Believe Joe Biden Involved in Family’s Business

More voters increasingly believe President Joe Biden somehow took part in the family’s foreign business deals, polling shows.

While Joe Biden on multiple occasions denied any involvement in the family’s business deals, including speaking with Hunter Biden about the deals, polling provides a window into the public’s growing belief that the Biden family business somehow involved Joe Biden.

In April 2022, 58 percent of voters told the pollster that Joe Biden played a role in his family’s business.

In September 2022, 62 percent of voters told Rasmussen that Joe Biden likely consulted and perhaps profited from Biden family business deals.

Months later, a Harvard Cap/Harris poll released in February found that 62 percent of voters believed Joe Biden “participated” in his family business deals, four points less than June’s poll.

Poll: Majority of Democrats Want Biden to Debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

A majority of Democrats want President Biden to debate Democrat challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey found.

The survey asked respondents if the two leading Democrat candidates, Biden and Kennedy Jr., should “engage in the Presidential Primary Debate process.”

Across the board, over one-third, 77.5 percent, said yes, the two should engage in debates. Just 15.6 percent said they should not, and another 6.9 percent remain unsure.

Predictably, most Republicans — 92.8 percent — believe the two should debate, as do 80.1 percent of independents.

However, this consensus is actually bipartisan, as 57.5 percent of Democrats believe Biden should debate RFK Jr. another 31.7 percent believe they should not debate, and 10.8 percent of Democrats remain unsure. Teacher Suspended for Targeting White Male Students, Playing Explicit Song in Class

A San Francisco high school teacher was suspended after she singled out white male students and made an example of them, asking them if they “felt like a minority” during a class.

Parents and students reported Lowell High School teacher Nicole Noel Henares in September 2022 after she asked white male students to stand as a group in front of the rest of their class.

In a report obtained by Fox News Digital, students said they “felt confused, sad and there was no correct answer for them in that moment” when Henares called them out.

Henares was initially placed on paid administrative leave on September 15, 2022, while San Francisco Unified School District officials conducted an investigation.

Chris Christie Shows Support for Child Gender Transition Surgeries

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced late last month that he is running for president in 2024. In an apparent effort to distinguish himself from better-performing candidates in the Republican field, Christie — presently ranked seventh on average with less than two points to his name in the polls — has come out in support of child gender transition surgeries.

The Republican presidential candidate told CNN’s Jake Tapper during his Sunday appearance on “State of the Nation” that he doesn’t think “the government should ever be stepping into the place of the parents in helping to move their children through a process where those children are confused or concerned about their gender.” . . .

Rebuffing the warnings of groups like the NJ Family Policy Council, Christie ratified Democrat legislation (S-3067/A-465) in 2017, barring public school districts from requiring transvestic students to use bathrooms or locker rooms corresponding with their biological sex. . .

In reply to Tapper, who noted that other Republicans were “going in the opposite direction” of the LGBT activist-affirming efforts he employed as governor, Christie said, “The fact is that folks who are under the age of 18 should have parental support and guidance and love as they make all of the key decisions of their life, and this should not be one that is excluded by the government in any way.”

Juneteenth Is Now Just Another Tool to Advance Equity (AKA Race-Based Discrimination)

Whatever Juneteenth once stood for as a state holiday is dead and gone. Today, leftists use the new federal holiday as merely the latest tool to advance “equity” — aka race-based discrimination — and further entrench Critical Race Theory into American society.

That Democrats are using something positive and noncontroversial — the celebration of emancipation and an end to slavery — to push its anti-American agenda is unsurprising. The Left always takes that which is proper and twists it for their own end. What is alarming is how many Republicans are oblivious to this tactic.

To start, consider that leftist success depends upon invoking fear, preying upon the goodwill of Americans, and conning gullible rubes in the GOP. To see a textbook example of that strategy, look no further than how “Juneteenth National Independence Day” came to be.

For background, on June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, and announced slavery had ended via the Emancipation Proclamation more than two years earlier. Since then, varying communities have celebrated “Juneteenth” most predominantly in Texas. Its regional significance and place in black culture should not be understated — even if not recognized by the majority of Americans.

The Math Doesn’t Add Up as to How $10 Million Mysteriously Appeared in Biden’s Bank Account

Republicans are pointing out eyebrow-raising questions after $10 million magically appeared in President Joe Biden’s bank account with no explanation.

Biden is facing scrutiny among allegations linking him to a bribery scandal in Ukraine when he served as vice president, which has brought unanswered questions to old Biden tax returns.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) demands transparency from the president, claiming Biden is guilty of committing a felony.

“You’re looking at a tax return that has $10 million in cash that came from a mystery source,” Cruz said during his podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz. “We have utterly no idea where that $10 million came from.”

According to reports, a whistleblower claimed that when Biden was vice president, a senior executive at Burisma offered him $5 million in bribery cash to make a deal and official decisions for Burisma. In 2017, when Biden ended his career as vice president, he reported over $10 million of income from two corporations he and First Lady Jill Biden set up, causing Republicans to question where that money initially came from. Transgender Advocates Appropriate Identity of Black Slaves

Transgender advocates have been taking the identity of women piece by piece — and now are trying to wrap their cause in the identity of black Americans who were slaves in the 1800s.

“We’re calling it kind of the ‘rainbow Underground Railroad,’” said Bob McCranie, a real estate broker based in Dallas, Texas, who is now offering to help transgender advocates flee from states — such as Texas — where legislators have adopted popular laws to protect kids from transgenderism.

“We’re trying to get people out quietly and get them to someplace where they feel safer,” McCranie told KFOR.com, appropriating the language used before the civil war to describe the networks that helped smuggle enslaved blacks to the northern states that barred slavery.

The pre-civil war Underground Railroad was run by “abolitionists activists who would have safe houses for people, particularly slaves fleeing the South … To compare gay people in Texas leaving the state to the Underground Railroad should be offensive even to people who are gay,” scoffed radio host Erick Erickson on June 16.

“Kudos to Mr. McCranie,” said Erickson. “The one guy who’s not fleeing the awful state of Texas is the realtor making a boatload of cash off the fear of these other people! … What a genius marketing scheme!” (Read more from “Transgender Advocates Appropriate Identity of Black Slaves” HERE)
