Alex Murdaugh Violently Assaulted Prostitute During Drug-Fueled Romps: Victim

A former sex worker claims Alex Murdaugh yanked out her hair and choked her until she nearly blacked out during drug-fueled romps – allegations that are now resurfacing in wake of his double-murder conviction.

Lindsey Edwards told FITS News in August that she had four encounters with Murdaugh eight years ago that left her traumatized.

The former sex worker, who was 20 at the time, claims to have first encountered Murdaugh on the Isle of Palms in his native South Carolina while he was on a “guys’ weekend.”

“There was a bunch of guys there drinking, doing drugs. They had a fire going on the deck and eating food and just hanging out,” she said, explaining she was among of group of women brought there to have sex with the men. “I think for the first hour we were there we were taking shots, doing cocaine, smoking weed, hanging out by the fire and just talking and getting to know them.”

“He attached himself to me,” Edwards said, adding that the convicted double murderer seemed “very nice, very gentlemanlike” at first. (Read more from “Alex Murdaugh Violently Assaulted Prostitute During Drug-Fueled Romps: Victim” HERE)

Emails Show Fauci Prompted Study to Disprove Coronavirus Originated From Lab

Dr. Anthony Fauci prompted the draft of a study to disprove the Wuhan coronavirus lab leak theory was “improbable,” emails from the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released Sunday show.

The emails indicate Fauci “prompted” a study on a scientific paper written in February 2020 to disprove the coronavirus leaked from the Wuhan lab in China. The emails also show Fauci had final approval on the paper.

The scientific paper was used by Fauci eight weeks later in a White House press conference to discredit former President Donald Trump’s hypothesis that the coronavirus leaked from the lab. Fauci failed to disclose his involvement with the paper and the paper’s authors — claiming later he did not know who the authors were:

Fauci was emailed the paper entitled, “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2,” for final approval before publication in Nature Medicine on February 17, 2020.

The paper was published days after Fauci and other scientists, including former National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins, discussed on a conference call reports that coronavirus could have originated from a Chinese lab and that it “may have been intentionally genetically manipulated.” (Read more from “Emails Show Fauci Prompted Study to Disprove Coronavirus Originated From Lab” HERE)

Turbulence Revealed as Top DC Lawyer’s Possible Cause of Death Aboard Jet

A prominent DC attorney aboard a corporate jet that experienced severe turbulence died last week — and officials said stability issues are likely to blame in the accident.

Dana Hyde, 55 was identified by Connecticut State Police after a plane she was on made an emergency landing Friday afternoon at Bradley International Airport, near Hartford.

The National Transportation Safety Board told The Post in a statement that its “investigators are now looking at a reported trim issue that occurred prior to the inflight upset.”

Hyde, of Cabin John, Maryland, was injured during the severe turbulence, and pronounced dead shortly at Hartford’s Saint Francis Medical Center following the emergency landing, police said.

Hyde was among five people aboard the flight, which originated in Keene, New Hampshire, and was meant to land in Leesburg, Virginia when it started to experience severe turbulence over New England. (Read more from “Turbulence Revealed as Top DC Lawyer’s Possible Cause of Death Aboard Jet” HERE)

‘Urban Warfare Is Unavoidable,’ US General Fears

Russia’s war in Ukraine suggests that “urban warfare is unavoidable,” according to a senior U.S. general tasked with prepare the U.S. Army for potential future wars.

“I think the enemy is going to move to the cities to avoid classification as a target,” Gen. James E. Rainey, who leads the U.S. Army Futures Command, said Friday at the Center for a New American Security. “We need to wrap our head around that.” . . .

“You never want to get into clearing and the attrition that comes with that,” he said. “Why do you need forces? You know, again, not to clear an urban area but to be able to penetrate into an urban area for purpose — stay there, kill from there.”

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has devolved into the kind of war of attrition that has provoked international outrage toward Russia and spurred Western powers to increase military aid to Ukraine. The conflict has strained the arsenals of Moscow as well as the U.S. and its allies, but Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s team maintained that “we have a lot of capacity” to continue aiding Ukraine.

“When we put our mind to it, our $25 trillion economy, you don’t want to take us on,” said Defense Department assistant secretary Douglas R. Bush, the Pentagon’s lead acquisitions bureau official. “We are, for example, rapidly expanding that capacity to meet some of the replenishment needs for Ukraine — maybe not as fast as some people think is possible, but I can assure you, it’s happening quickly and American industry is showing what it can do. So I’m pretty confident about it.” (Read more from “‘Urban Warfare Is Unavoidable,’ US General Fears” HERE)

‘Parents Need to Wake Up’: Advocates Sound Alarm About Satanist After-School Clubs Sprouting Across the Country

The Satanic Temple (TST) made headlines in 2022 for fighting for the right to create after-school clubs for students and has recently been launching new groups across the country, raising concerns for religious advocates about the potential impact Satanism may have on students’ perception of faith.

A TST “After-School Satan Club” was approved in December 2022 at a Virginia elementary school, provoking many parents, who were disturbed by the push to indoctrinate children into Satanism, to protest the club, according to RealClearEducation. TST has announced the formation of multiple new clubs in New York, Pennsylvania and Colorado in just the past month and religious advocates have taken note of the trend, telling the Daily Caller News Foundation that the normalization of Satanism could be detrimental to students later in life.

“A satanic club is the antithesis of religion,” Penny Nance, CEO and president of Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest women’s public policy organization, told the DCNF. “Groups like this have free speech rights but Satanism is not a religion. The fact that there are more of these clubs popping up means kids are searching for something to believe in.”

“The decision to promote the Satanic Temple in schools is a concerning development in districts across the country,” Delano Squires, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family. “This group has no more ‘right’ to students and schools as a Neo-Nazi club demanding representation. Schools should use wisdom and discernment with regard to decisions related to extracurricular activities.”

TST argued on its Twitter account that an upcoming vote at a Virginia school would determine whether its club should be on “equal footing” with other school groups, particularly religious clubs.

Biden’s First Official 2024 Primary Challenger Is a Meditating Hippy Who Preaches the ‘Politics of Love’

Self-help author Marianne Williamson officially declared her 2024 presidential run against President Joe Biden, vowing to fight “forces of hatred, injustice, and fear.”

“I, as of today, am a candidate for the office of president of the United States. Williamson said at her campaign kickoff event at Washington D.C.’s Union Station. “The status quo will not disrupt itself… that’s our job.”

Williamson, who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2020, is taking another shot at the White House, being the first Democrat to primary challenge Biden.

“We know that this country is plagued by many challenges now, not the least of which is hatred and division, which is greater than any of us have experienced national life. It is our job to create a vision of justice and love that is so powerful that it will override the forces of hatred and injustice and fear,” the Democrat continued.

Williamson was a one-time spiritual advisor to Oprah Winfrey and views the current state of America as a country with “broken windows” filled with poverty and despair, adding that “half the people in this city don’t even notice [despair].” (Read more from “Biden’s First Official 2024 Primary Challenger Is a Meditating Hippy Who Preaches the ‘Politics of Love’” HERE)

‘Ridiculous’: Jill Biden suggests Joe will never take competency test

First lady Jill Biden on Sunday said it was “ridiculous’’ to consider GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley’s call to mandate mental competency tests for pols over 75, suggesting President Biden would never take one.

Jill Biden said she and her husband — who at age 80 is the oldest commander in chief in US history and would be 82 at his inauguration if reelected — would “never even discuss something like that.

“Ridiculous,” Jill Biden responded when asked about Haley’s idea in a snippet of an interview that aired Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Jill Biden — whose full interview will air at 9 p.m. Monday — pointed to the president’s surprise trip last month to Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion as proof of the commander-in-chief’s stamina.

“How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President Zelensky?” she said. “So, look at the man. Look what he’s doing. Look what he continues to do each and every day.” (Read more from “‘Ridiculous’: Jill Biden suggests Joe will never take competency test” HERE)

Credibility Crisis: ‘60 Minutes’ Tries Turning Back the Clock After Declaring COVID Lab Leak Theory ‘Debunked’

The once-respected CBS News program “60 Minutes” attempted to set the record straight about the origins of COVID nearly a year after declaring the lab-leak theory “debunked.”

In recent days, the theory that COVID originated from a lab leak in Wuhan had been embraced by FBI Director Christopher Wray and a bombshell report indicated that the U.S. Energy Department believes the virus likely started in the lab.

However, back in May 2020, CBS News’ Scott Pelley cast significant doubt on the Trump administration’s assertions of the theory, telling viewers “both the White House and the Chinese Communist Party have been less than honest.”

Instead, Pelley hyped the credibility of Peter Daszak, president of the group EcoHealth Alliance and one of the world’s most vocal foes of the lab-leak theory. EcoHealth Alliance received government funding from the National Institutes of Health and has had a long working partnership with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), which is now widely believed to be ground zero for the COVID pandemic.

The “60 Minutes” correspondent praised the work of EcoHealth-WIV at the time as being “critical right now.” (Read more from “Credibility Crisis: ‘60 Minutes’ Tries Turning Back the Clock After Declaring COVID Lab Leak Theory ‘Debunked’” HERE)

Biden Vows New Election Laws in ‘Bloody Sunday’ Speech, Accuses GOP of Assault on Voting Rights

President Biden on Sunday recommitted his pledge to implement long-stalled Democratic plans to overhaul election laws when he commemorated the 58th anniversary of the Bloody Sunday civil rights march.

Speaking with a backdrop of the infamous Edmund Pettus Bridge, where civil rights activists were beaten by police in a 1965 march for voting rights, Mr. Biden delivered a clear signal he will seek a second term in the White House and is depending on Black voters to deliver the win.

Although he has yet to make an official reelection announcement, Mr. Biden sought to shore up the crucial Black vote by demonstrating he’s not giving up on legislation Democrats say would expand voting access. He also accused Republicans of seeking to roll back voting rights.

“The right to vote and to have your vote counted is the threshold of democracy and liberty. With it, anything’s possible. Without that right, nothing is possible and this fundamental right remains under assault,” Mr. Biden said. “The conservative Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act over the years. Since the 2020 election, a wave of states and dozens — dozens — of anti-voting laws fueled by the ‘big lie’ and the election deniers now elected to office.”

Mr. Biden pushed several Democratic-led bills that died in the last Congress. Critics say the legislation would nationalize U.S. elections and impose rules designed to boost Democratic candidates. Hunter Biden Advised Joe’s Office on Answering Burisma Queries: Emails

Then-second son Hunter Biden coached then-Vice President Joe Biden’s press secretary on how to respond to media questions about him joining the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, emails reviewed by The Post show.

The May 13, 2014, exchanges between Hunter and Kendra Barkoff, which have not been previously reported, form the basis of a complaint sent to the Justice Department on Friday alleging that the Biden scion, now 53, violated federal law by failing to register as a foreign agent.

“In advising the Office of the Vice President how to respond to press inquiries about his appointment, Hunter Biden ‘represent[ed] the interests of [a] foreign principal before any agency or official of the Government of the United States,’” America First Legal Foundation general counsel Gene Hamilton wrote to the assistant attorney general for national security, Matthew Olsen, quoting the relevant statute.

Burisma announced Hunter Biden’s appointment to its board of directors on May 12, 2014. The following day, according to the complaint, Barkoff sent Hunter an email saying: “Thanks for talking to me. [L]et me know who I should refer folks to.”

“What exactly are they asking?” Hunter responded. “For the time being I’d just refer them to my office. FYI I joined the board of Burisma Holdings Ltd. (Burisma.com) an independent/private natural gas producer in Ukraine along with the former president of Poland. I think the press release is on their website.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden Advised Joe’s Office on Answering Burisma Queries: Emails” HERE)
