Scandal: The Air Force Repeatedly Leaked Military Records to Democratic Operatives

During the 2022 midterm election cycle, the confidential military records of former U.S. Air Force Commander Jennifer-Ruth Green were leaked to the press, showing she had been sexually assaulted. At the time, Green was running against Democratic Congressman Frank Mrvan to represent Indiana’s 1st Congressioanl District.

In October 2022, it was confirmed the U.S. Air Force illegally leaked the records to Mrvan’s campaign, which were then sent to POLITICO.

“As I have contended all along, that my records were not properly obtained through FOIA, as Politico claimed. They were obtained by a Democrat opposition research firm, and their release was illegal. It’s the worst of politics, and it’s just the latest example that Hoosiers deserve better than Congressman Frank Mrvan,” Green said at the time. “I want to thank Senators Tom Cotton, Todd Young and Mike Braun as well as Congressman Jim Banks and Congressman Larry Bucshon for their ongoing efforts to demand accountability and get to the bottom of the illegal leak of my confidential files.”

“Now we know the Air Force did release documents illegally to a Democrat opposition research firm. And we know what firm it was and we know they work for the DCCC, which has been coordinating so closely with Frank Mrvan that every ad he’s aired in this race they split the cost of. To believe Mrvan and his cronies didn’t know is laughable. There is more to come,” Green’s Campaign Communications Director Kevin Hansberger added.

Jim Jordan Wants to Know Why DOJ Hasn’t Appointed a Special Counsel for Hunter Biden

While U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels to probe the handling of classified documents by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, he has not appointed one to handle investigations of Hunter Biden — and that has House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) curious.

So, to get some answers with his power as chairman of the powerful Judiciary Committee, Jordan sent a letter to AG Garland on Tuesday looking to get his hands on some documents to better understand the situation and conduct oversight of Biden’s Department of Justice.

“The Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, raises the appearance of a conflict of interest that would necessitate special counsel protections and authorities,” Chairman Jordan notes in his letter to Garland. “However, to date, you have declined to appoint a special counsel in this matter, despite appointing special counsels in other investigations.”

As noted, there’s a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s sticky fingers when it came to classified documents from his time as vice president and a U.S. senator — so why not a special counsel to investigate his son?

Poll: Surging Donald Trump Leads DeSantis in Head-To-Head, Grows Advantage Over Larger Field

Former President Donald Trump leads Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in a hypothetical head-to-head Republican primary match-up after a 12-point swing his way in only three weeks, according to a poll.

The Yahoo/YouGov poll released Tuesday shows 47 percent of Republicans would vote for Trump in the head-to-head primary with DeSantis. The Florida governor sits eight points behind with 39 percent of support and 13 percent undecided.

In a YouGov poll conducted between February 2-6, DeSantis led Trump at 45 percent to 41 percent, respectively. The change marks a net 12-point swing to Trump in 21 days, as the current survey is from February 23-27.

Trump also dramatically expanded his lead over a larger primary field in that time. In a scenario with eight other candidates offered to participants, the 45th president took 45 percent of the response in the latest poll, giving him a double-digit lead over DeSantis at 29 percent. He has widened his lead by 14 points compared to the previous survey when he and DeSantis were at 37 percent and 35 percent, respectively, with seven other candidates as options.

‘Most Racist President… Since LBJ’: Biden Slammed Over ‘White Boy’ Remark During Event Marking Black History Month

President Joe Biden faced a wave of backlash over what was deemed a “racist” comment of his implying that white men are unintelligent, after stating, “I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid,” at a reception honoring African Americans throughout the country’s history.

During a White House reception marking Black History Month on Monday, President Biden stated that “black history matters” after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reportedly rejected a high school Advance Placement course for African American studies following his “Stop Woke Act,” which aims to ban Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the state’s public schools.

“It’s important to say from the White House for the entire country to hear: history matters. History matters and black history matters,” he said to the roughly 400 people in attendance. “I can’t just choose to learn what we want to know. We learn what we should know. We have to learn everything, the good, the bad, the truth, and who we are as a nation.”

“That’s what great nations do,” he added.

In response, many took to social media to slam the “racist” remarks.

Ghislaine Maxwell Appeals Sex-Trafficking Conviction Over ‘Fatal’ Errors

Convicted sex predator Ghislaine Maxwell formally appealed her sex-trafficking conviction Tuesday, arguing prosecutors and the judge made a series of “fatal” errors during her case in Manhattan federal court.

Maxwell’s attorney Arthur Aidala said in a statement Tuesday the Justice Department had prosecuted his client as a “proxy” for Jeffrey Epstein to “satisfy public outrage” over the case in the aftermath of his sudden in-custody death.

He accused the government of working with Epstein accusers “to develop new allegations out of faded, distorted, and motivated memories.”

A Manhattan federal court jury convicted Maxwell on five of six counts in December 2021, including sex trafficking of minors, for helping pedophile financier Epstein groom girls and women for him to abuse. . .

Another Maxwell attorney, John Leventhal, had said in previous court filings that the appeal would focus on five points raising issues “pertaining to statute of limitations; a non-prosecutions agreement; juror misconduct and a post-verdict hearing; and sentence.” (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell Appeals Sex-Trafficking Conviction Over ‘Fatal’ Errors” HERE)

FBI Chief Confirms Agency’s Belief COVID Came From Chinese Lab Leak

FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday confirmed the bureau’s reported stance that the COVID-19 virus came from a Chinese lab leak.

“The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are mostly likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan, China,” Wray said in an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier.

Wray’s comments were aired two days after it was reported the Department of Energy determined with “low confidence” that the virus that causes COVID-19 came from a Chinese laboratory.

The Wall Street Journal’s Sunday report had also revealed that the FBI concluded with “moderate confidence” that a lab accident in China was the origin of the disease.

Wray told Baier that US officials were still probing COVID-19 origins and revealed China has been stonewalling the investigation. (Read more from “FBI Chief Confirms Agency’s Belief COVID Came From Chinese Lab Leak” HERE)

Evidence Is In: COVID Lab Leak Is a Scandal of Media, Government Censorship; Biden National Security Advisor Downplays Bombshell Report

By New York Post. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Energy Department has concluded that the COVID pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak.

The conclusion is reportedly based on a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress. Many will be exploring why the scientific evidence of a lab leak was so slow to emerge from intelligence agencies.

However, for my part, the most alarming aspect was the censorship, not the science.

There will continue to be a debate over the origins of COVID-19, but now there will be an actual debate.

For years, the media and government allied to treat anyone raising a lab theory as one of three possibilities: conspiracy theorist or racists or racist conspiracy theorists. (Read more from “Evidence Is In: COVID Lab Leak Is a Scandal of Media, Government Censorship” HERE)

Biden National Security Advisor Downplays Bombshell Report: No ‘Definitive Answer’ on COVID Lab Leak

By Townhall. White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan downplayed the bombshell report by the Wall Street Journal that found the Department of Energy has concluded the COVID-19 pandemic most likely developed from a lab leak.

There is “no definitive answer,” Sullivan said when questioned on the matter during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“One of the things in that ‘Wall Street Journal’s report, which I can’t confirm or deny, but I will say the reference to the Department of Energy, President Biden specifically requested that the National Labs, which are part of the Department of Energy, be brought into this assessment because he wants to put every tool at use to be able to figure out what happened here,” Sullivan said. “And if we gain any further insight or information, we will share it with Congress, and we will share it with the American people. But, right now, there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question.”

The Wall Street Journal released a report that the Energy Department, now equipped with “new intelligence,” believes the Chinese virus emerged from a lab in Wuhan. Their report coincides with the FBI, while other agencies are sticking to the narrative that the Coronavirus resulted from natural transmission. SCOTUS Says Domestic Spying Is Too Secret to Be Challenged in Court

Abusive government behavior has again been found to be too sensitive to national security to face legal challenges in the court system. Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to review a lower court’s dismissal of the Wikimedia Foundation’s lawsuit against a National Security Agency surveillance program revealed a decade ago by Edward Snowden. With “state secrets privilege” barring litigation, that leaves upcoming congressional debates over renewal of the law authorizing the program as the only recourse for civil liberties advocates.

“The U.S. Supreme Court today denied the Wikimedia Foundation’s petition for review of its legal challenge to the National Security Agency’s (NSA) ‘Upstream’ surveillance program,” Wikimedia announced February 21. “Under this program, the NSA systematically searches the contents of internet traffic entering and leaving the United States, including Americans’ private emails, messages, and web communications. The Supreme Court’s denial leaves in place a divided ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, which dismissed Wikimedia’s case based on the government’s assertion of the ‘state secrets privilege.'”

“This decision is a blow to the rule of law,” commented Alex Abdo, of the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, which worked with Wikimedia and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). “The government has now succeeded in insulating from public judicial review one of the most sweeping surveillance programs ever enacted. If the courts are unwilling to hear Wikimedia’s challenge, then Congress must step in to protect Americans’ privacy by reining in the NSA’s mass surveillance of the internet.”

The “Upstream” surveillance program at issue collects “communications ‘to, from, or about'” a foreign target designated under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, according the NSA. In the clearer language of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, “upstream surveillance involves collecting communications as they travel over the Internet backbone, and downstream surveillance (formerly PRISM) involves collection of communications from companies like Google, Facebook, and Yahoo.”

As Edward Snowden revealed and the NSA conceded, this broad surveillance may be authorized against foreign targets, but frequently scoops up Americans—often deliberately. “The government is increasingly using these broad and intrusive spying powers in run-of-the-mill criminal investigations against Americans, circumventing their Fourth Amendment rights,” the ACLU warned in 2020. Biden Says ‘I May Be a White Boy, but I’m Not Stupid’ at Black History Month Event

President Biden told a White House audience “I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid” in a cringeworthy attempt at self-deprecating humor during an event celebrating Black History Month.

The 80-year-old president made the bizarre remark moments after joking that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who is black, no longer talks to him.

“I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid. I know where the power is … you think I’m joking. I learned a long time ago about the Divine Nine,” Biden said, referring to a group of African-American sororities.

Jeffries “is here in spite of the fact that when he ran the first time I campaigned for him,” the president added before shouting out Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Steven Horsford (D-Nev.).

“I campaigned for him too. You know what this means is, they don’t talk to me any more,” Biden said. “I’m only kidding.” (Read more from “Biden Says ‘I May Be a White Boy, but I’m Not Stupid’ at Black History Month Event” HERE)

Two U.S. Military Branches Announce More COVID Vax Reversals

Air Force Reverses ‘Adverse Actions’ Against Those Who Sought Vaccine Exemption for Religious Reasons

By Dayton Daily News. The Air Force will reverse disciplinary or “adverse” actions taken against members who had requested an exemption from the mandate to get the COVID-19 vaccine for religious reasons, the Air Force said Friday. . .

All military services have until March 17 to rescind their COVID-19 vaccination policies, according to a Pentagon memo released Friday,

The Air Force will remove “adverse information” from records of service members who sought an exemption on religious, administrative, or medical grounds and who had those actions taken against them “solely due to their refusal to take the vaccine,” the service said.

Service members do not need to initiate any actions for their records to be updated, the Air Force said. (Read more from “Air Force Reverses ‘Adverse Actions’ Against Those Who Sought Vaccine Exemption for Religious Reasons” HERE)

The Marine Corps Lifts Its Deployment COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

By Marine Corps Times. The Marine Corps is no longer blocking Marines who are unvaccinated against COVID-19 from overseas deployments, a Corps spokesman has confirmed to Marine Corps Times.

“There are no current COVID-19 vaccine restrictions on deployments or assignments for the Marine Corps as a service,” Capt. Ryan Bruce told Marine Corps Times Wednesday. “Marines will defer to Combatant Command policies regarding deployments.”

In December 2022, Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro had cautioned that repealing the mandate would create two categories of troops: those who could deploy and those who couldn’t.

But now, COVID-19 vaccination status no longer determines whether troops in the Department of the Navy can deploy. The Navy also recently scrapped its vaccination requirement for deployments, making the announcement via naval administrative message.

That NAVADMIN, which applied specifically to the Navy, acknowledged that the policies of some host countries could “create conditions-based criteria for liberty.” (Read more from “The Marine Corps Lifts Its Deployment COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement” HERE)
