Kohberger grew up in the Poconos with his parents and sister — and underwent radical changes during his later teenage years.

At Pleasant Valley High School, the suspect was known as an awkward “creep” and “outcast” who repelled girls and reportedly struggled with a heroin addiction. . .

In 2022, he received a master of arts in criminal justice from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa. After his arrest, the university said it is “devastated by this senseless tragedy,” while a former professor didn’t hold back her praise of her now-infamous ex-pupil.

US Army: Vaccine Mandate Repeal Does Not Apply to National Guard, Reserves

The Army’s latest guidance on COVID-19 states that a provision in Congress’ defense bill overturning the service-wide vaccination mandate does not apply to orders given to the National Guard or Reserves, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The 2023 National Defense Authorization Act ordered the Department of Defense (DOD) to rescind the Aug. 24, 2021 memo ordering full COVID-19 vaccination for military servicemembers, including the Ready Reserve and National Guard. However, an update to the Army’s virus policy, dated Dec. 22, says the provision does not address a second memo from November applying the mandate to the National Guard and Reserves and preventing unvaccinated members mobilized under state, rather than federal, orders from being paid, the documents show.

The Department of Defense formally withdrew the COVID-19 vaccine mandate after President Joe Biden signed the bill into law on Dec. 23, an official policy document shows.

“The FY 2023 NDAA does not address the Secretary of Defense’s directive regarding COVID-19 vaccination for members of the national guard and ready reserve (Annex AAAA),” according to FRAGO 35, an update to HQDA EXORD 225-21, which describes the Pentagon’s COVID-19 policy, that was obtained by the DCNF.

“Commands will continue to adhere to Annex AAAA and to paragraphs 3.D.21-3.D.23 unless and until Annex AAAA is superseded or rescinded by the Secretary of Defense,” the document stated. (Read more from “US Army: Vaccine Mandate Repeal Does Not Apply to National Guard, Reserves” HERE)

On December 18, Twitter CEO Elon Musk created a poll on the social media platform asking his 123 million followers if he should resign from his position. Regardless of the outcome, he vowed to abide by the results.

Over 57% of voters declared that Elon Musk should step down. A few days later, Musk confirmed his future resignation. . .

More likely candidates include several people from Musk’s inner circle, such as entrepreneur Jason Calacanis, Craft Ventures partner David Sacks, Boring Company President Steve Davis, and research scientist Lex Fridman.

Jason Calacanis, one of Musk’s closest friends and allies, is an entrepreneur, angel investor, podcaster, and writer. While Calacanis does not hold an official role at Twitter, he has previously expressed interest in becoming CEO, according to a text exchange between Calacanis and Musk. This Suddenly Popular Trend Is Too ‘Satanic’ Even for Church of Satan

Although today’s widespread transgender recruitment craze targeting schoolchildren is enthusiastically supported by America’s governmental, academic and cultural elites, many conservatives and Christians condemn the movement as “satanic.”

Indeed, considering the irreversible bodily mutilations and “shockingly high” suicide rate, the “satanic” label isn’t surprising, with columnist and podcaster Jason Whitlock telling Tucker Carlson, “All of this, to me, is satanic – the targeting of young people and children that are very impressionable at a very early age.” Echoes author and talk-host Candace Owens, “When I look at the face of this trans movement, and this trans agenda, and confusing kids … when I see that, I think this is actually satanic.” Even Rev. Franklin Graham decries the reality that “Students are being encouraged and groomed by older students to change their sexual identity,” adding, “Satan, the evil one, is a deceiver and brings chaos, disorder, and confusion. It is not a happy lifestyle when you reject God’s original design.” . . .

It must be, because the transgender grooming craze, from its “drag queen story hours” for toddlers, to the systematic sexualization of public school students, to the explicit encouragement of preteens and teens too young to drive to “identify” as transgender and have healthy body parts amputated – all regarded by many as serious forms of child sexual abuse – appears to be too satanic even for the Church of Satan.

At least, that’s according to the organization’s official tenets as formulated and published by Anton Szandor LaVey, who founded the Church of Satan in 1966 and remained its high priest until his death in 1997. Lethal Injection: State That Could Become the First To Execute Transgender Woman

Missouri may be the first state to ever execute a transgender woman in the United States, unless the state’s governor grants clemency, according to reports.

Amber McLaughlin, 49, is a transgender woman and is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection Tuesday after being found guilty of killing a former girlfriend in 2003.

McLaughlin was tried as Scott McLaughlin and did not transition until after being sentenced to prison. . .

On the night of Nov. 20, 2003, Guenther’s neighbors called police after she failed to return home, AP reported.

Officers went to the office where Guenther worked and found a broken knife handle near her car and a trail of blood. The next day, McLaughlin showed police where Guenther’s body had been dumped in the Mississippi River. Celebration of a New Year Brings With It Yet Another Reminder From Bidens To Get Vaccinated

The Biden administration is just obsessed with badgering folks to get vaccinated against COVID-19, which now includes getting multiple boosters, and getting a booster when every year like the flu shot. Thus, any time a celebration or major event comes up, we can count on the administration, or President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden themselves to remind us they expect us to fall in line and get up to date.

As Breaking 911 highlighted on Sunday, part of the Biden’s message to Americans aired on ABC News had to do with the vaccine. In the name of telling people to “especially take care of your health this year,” the first lady implored people to “go get that COVID vaccine and get your flu shot.” The president, very much appearing as old as he is, chimed in to share something indecipherable.

Ryan Seacrest, the host of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” which airs on ABC, politely thanked the two for their message, but kept it telling them “thank you very much for being with us, Happy New Year.”

GOP Rep.: Chinese-Owned TikTok Is ‘Digital Fentanyl’ Poisoning Youth

Republican Wisconsin Congressman Mike Gallagher compared TikTok to “digital fentanyl” amid efforts to ban the app in the U.S.

Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, Gallagher blasted the Chinese-owned social media platform for the negative effects it has on children and teens in the country, and the copious amounts of data it collects. He called for Congress to ban the app nationwide.

“I think the comparison is apt for at least two reasons,” said Gallagher. “One, it’s highly addictive and destructive and we’re seeing troubling data about the corrosive impact of constant social media use, particularly on young men and women here in America.”

“It’s also digital fentanyl in the sense that, as you allude to, it ultimately goes back to the Chinese Communist Party. TikTok is owned by ByteDance; ByteDance is effectively controlled by the CCP. So, we have to ask whether we want the CCP to control what is on the cusp of becoming the most powerful media company in America,” Gallagher continued. “That is very troubling. And so, I was glad to see my colleagues in the Senate pass, in unanimous fashion, a ban of TikTok on government devices. Drag Queen Story Hours for Children Grow Across The US. So Does the Backlash

The San Francisco Public Library held the first drag queen story hour in December 2015, and it could have been the last. Instead, a cultural phenomenon was born.

Since then, cross-dressing men in exaggerated make-up and costumes have made hundreds of appearances in public libraries nationwide, opening up another front in the pitched battle over exposing children to sexually charged concepts in the name of diversity and inclusion. . .

Critics are increasingly pushing back. In the last few months, protesters have greeted drag queen story hours in California, Maryland and New York. A drag-queen reading at a school in Columbus, Ohio, was canceled in December over security concerns about a planned rally by the Proud Boys militia.

Where there are Proud Boys, Antifa cannot be far behind. Black-clad Antifa activists carrying Pride flags and realistic-looking rifles turned up in November at a bookstore in Denton, Texas, claiming to provide security for a Transgender Story Time featuring a man dressed as a woman.

Trump’s Taxes: GOP Defends Ex-President Amid Warnings of ‘Dangerous Precedent’ Set by Democrats

The top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee laid into Democrats on Sunday for releasing former President Donald Trump’s tax returns after years of legal battles and just days before Republicans take control of the House.

The documents revealed that the former president’s real estate conglomerate reported years of multimillion-dollar losses, prompting jabs from Democrats eager to chip away at Mr. Trump’s self-proclaimed success as Republicans warned of setting a “dangerous precedent” of their release.

“Every American ought to be frightened by this precedent because the enemies list is back, and you might find yourself on it,” Rep. Kevin Brady, Texas Republican and ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, said on “Fox News Sunday.”

“This isn’t about whether President Trump should have released [his tax returns]. That’s not the law; it’s the tradition,” Mr. Brady said. “This is a dangerous new precedent.
