Vice President Kamala Harris is requiring any senator or family member or guest of a senator wishing to take a photo with her at Tuesday’s swearing-in ceremony for the new Congress to have a negative coronavirus test taken within 24 hours of the picture, Breitbart News has learned.

The U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Protocol Office blasted out a message on Thursday to all Senate offices noting that Harris’s office is requiring the coronavirus tests before taking photos with the vice president.

“The Vice President’s office has requested that we send their standard COVID-19 protocol information to offices participating in the reenactment opportunity in the Old Senate Chamber. Please see their suggested process below,” the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Protocol Office said in the email obtained by Breitbart News. “We look forward to welcoming all Senators and their families for the reenactment opportunity on January 3rd.”

The email forwarded a message sent from Grisella Martinez, the Director of Legislative Affairs in the Office of the Vice President, in which the senior Harris staffer relayed the coronavirus testing requirements.

“We look forward to welcoming your Senator on January 3, 2023, to the ceremonial reenactment for incoming and newly re-elected Senators in the Old Senate Chamber,” Martinez wrote. “As you are aware, White House COVID-19 protocols require that anyone over two-years of age who will interact with the Vice President take a medically-administered antigen test within 24 hours prior to interaction, and receive a negative result. Far-Left NYT Admits Trump’s Massive Success With Truth Social Is Crushing Opponents: ‘Megaphone to the Word’

The far-left New York Times, dubbed the “failing New York Times” by forty-fifth President Donald Trump, admitted in an article on Tuesday titled “Truth Social’s Influence Grows Despite Its Business Problems” that Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, has become “vibrant” and has “managed to outplace its rivals.”

The Times article begins by describing Trump’s platform as a “a vibrant right-wing ecosystem increasingly brimming with activity.”

“Experts say the app itself has only grown more influential in conservative circles ahead of the midterm election. Much of that is owed to former President Donald J. Trump, one of the app’s founders and its star, who now uses Truth Social as his primary megaphone to the world,” the article reads.

“His posts on the site reach more than four million followers and regularly reverberate across mainstream news and social media sites,” the article adds.

Biden Spent Nearly 40% Of 2022 in Delaware, Camp David, or on Vacation

President Joe Biden spent nearly 40% of 2022 in Delaware, Camp David and vacation destinations.

A Daily Caller analysis of Biden’s 2022 public schedule shows that the president spent 92 days or partial days at one of his Delaware properties, and 32 days or partial days at Camp David.

Biden also vacationed seven days in South Carolina, five days in Nantucket, and five days in the U.S. Virgin Islands, bringing his total getaway days to a total of 141, or 38.6% of his first full calendar year. . .

Biden’s numbers, however, are on track to outpace every president, CNN reported, using data compiled by former CBS White House Correspondent Mark Knoller.

His time working from Delaware had already exceeded that of Trump in October, according to Knoller. If Biden is re-elected and keeps up the pace of his trips to Delaware, his vacation time would far eclipse those of Obama, Bush and Reagan, Knoller told the outlet. University of Idaho Quadruple Murder Suspect Is ‘Obsessively Vegan’ and Constantly ‘Looked Drugged at School’ as Teen

The man currently in custody in connection to the murder of four University of Idaho students last month is reportedly an “obsessive vegan” who regularly “looked drugged” while attending school as a teen, RadarOnline.com has learned. . .

According to newly surfaced details about the suspect, Kohberger is a Libertarian and “obsessive vegan” who refused to use the same pot if it had previously been used to cook meat.

“It was above and beyond being vegan,” one relative told the New York Post after Kohberger’s arrest Friday. “His aunt and uncle had to buy new pots and pans because he would not eat from anything that had ever had meat cooked in them.”

“He seemed very OCD,” the relative added. . .

Police Believe Idaho Murder Suspect Acted Alone

Police officials believe the suspect who allegedly killed the four Idaho college students acted alone.

Idaho police chief James Fry speculates that suspect Bryan Kohberger is responsible for the murder of Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21.

“We truly believe we have the individual that committed these crimes,” Fry said, adding that he doesn’t believe the 28 year old had any accomplices.

Separating School Bathrooms Based on Sex Is Constitutional, Court Rules

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit ruled that separating bathrooms based on sex doesn’t violate the Constitution or Title IX, a decision with repercussions for the nationwide debate over transgender issues.

The ruling is likely to have widespread consequences in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

The case, Adams v. Sch. Bd. of St. Johns Cty, revolved around whether or not St. Johns County School Board in Florida violated a transgender student’s rights by prohibiting the student, a biological female who identifies as a boy, from using the boys’ bathroom at Allen D. Nease High School. The court ruled en banc that the United States has a long tradition of segregating certain spaces, such as bathrooms, on the basis of sex, without falling afoul of either the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment or Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in education. As such, the student’s rights weren’t violated.

“Separating school bathrooms based on biological sex passes constitutional muster and comports with Title IX,” Judge Barbara Lagoa, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, wrote for the court. Mother of Hunter Biden’s Estranged Daughter Seeks To Change Child’s Last Name to ‘Biden’

The mother of Hunter Biden’s love child requested in Arkansas court on Tuesday to change the surname of her 4-year-old daughter to “Biden.”

A lawyer for Lunden Roberts, a former stripper and the mother of one of Hunter Biden’s five children, filed a name change petition in response to President Joe Biden’s son filing a motion in September 2022 to ask the court to have his child support payments reduced because of his “financial circumstances.” The request was opposed by the child’s mother.

Roberts’s attorney Clinton Lancaster told the court that Hunter’s daughter Navy Joan Roberts would “benefit from carrying the Biden family name.”

The company has stopped paying rent at its Seattle office, according to the New York Times, leading its staff to face eviction. Twitter employees were informed of the changes via email, according to Platformer, and encouraged to work from home for the time being.

The Longest Witch Hunt Goes on… Democrats Release Trump’s Tax Returns Before Losing Power; Trump Reacts

Democrats in control of the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee released six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns on Friday, an unprecedented intrusion that revealed nothing in particular.

The release marked the first time Congress had ever obtained and published the tax returns of any individual.

The six years of newly-released returns, covering the years 2015 through 2020, show that Trump paid a total of $4.4 million in federal income taxes over that period, with an adjusted gross income of -$53.2 million. “The Trumps paid some form of federal taxes every year, but they reported income-tax liability of $750 or less in three of the six years,” the Wall Street Journal noted. Democrats point to some potential problems. They claim that Trump’s tax returns as president were not properly audited by the IRS (a claim the IRS disputes). They also complained about charitable deductions and whether loans to his children should have been taxed as income. . .

However, there appeared to be few bombshells. In a statement on Truth Social, his social media platform, the former president said the returns showed “how proudly successful I have been” and warned that “the Democrats should never have done it.”

Republicans echoed the latter sentiment, saying the release of the tax returns seemed to have a purely political motive, and opened the door for Republicans to do the same in future. Vice President Kamala Harris’s “gamesmanship” against her staff has led to a long-standing pattern of dysfunction, prompting questions about her capabilities under pressure, a new book reports.

A former aide said Harris engaged in “really unnecessary gamesmanship” with staff, behavior the person attributed to “deep, deep insecurity,” reports a forthcoming book by Chris Whipple obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The staffer, who spent years working for Harris, claimed she “refused to do the kind of preparation that you need to do before going public on a hardcore policy matter.
