FBI Agent Who Pushed to Censor Hunter Biden Story Is Shaping Biden Admin’s Response to ‘Misinformation’

An FBI agent who coordinated with Facebook to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story is advising the Biden administration in its push to suppress information on social media, according to leaked documents published by The Intercept.

Laura Dehmlow was involved in conversations between the FBI and Facebook ahead of the social media company’s decision to censor the story surrounding the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election, the Washington Free Beacon reported. She was later involved in the Biden administration’s efforts to suppress and censor content on social media platforms for misinformation-related purposes, according to The Intercept.

“We need a media infrastructure that is held accountable,” she said during a March meeting attended by Twitter executives and executives from JP Morgan Chase, according to documents obtained by The Intercept. She also said subversive content on social media could weaken public support for the U.S. government.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has made plans to pressure private social media companies to censor information on “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine,” according to leaked documents obtained by The Intercept. Facebook and Instagram also have a formal process for government officials to ask them to suppress certain information. Elon Musk Reveals if Trump Will Be Allowed Back on Twitter

Elon Musk took to Twitter on Monday and addressed the question that’s on everybody’s mind: Will he permit Donald Trump back on the social media site?

“If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money!” the new Twitter boss tweeted Monday.

Musk last week completed his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter. Upon taking control of the company, he began cleaning house by firing its top executives.

In the weeks and months leading up to his purchase of Twitter, Musk, who calls himself a “free speech absolutist,” pledged to reinstate Trump’s account.

Report: Google Manipulated Searches in Senate Races

A report from the Media Research Center, strongly denied by Google, suggests the tech giant is manipulating search terms related to races for the U.S. Senate to favor Democrats.

Google is under intense scrutiny this election cycle after a study from North Carolina State University found that Gmail sent roughly 59 percent more Republican campaign emails to users’ spam folders than Democrats during the 2020 election. The Republican National Committee alleges that this imbalance is ongoing, and intentional on Google’s part.

Now, a Media Research Center (MRC) study claims Google is favoring Democrats in search results related to Senate races, but not House races.

Via the MRC:

In the Senate study MRC Free Speech America conducted, Google buried 10 of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites while highlighting their opponents campaign sites in organic search results. But when doing the same search, Bing and DuckDuckGo showed both the Senate Democratic Party candidates’ campaign websites and the Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites in the top five organic search results on page one.

Meanwhile, MRC Free Speech America found that Google placed Republican campaign websites higher in search results than Democrat campaign websites by a 21-11 margin in House races, while giving four races equal treatment.

Report: Big Tech Had Regular Meetings With DHS on Censoring Americans

Executives from Facebook and Twitter, including the recently-fired head of trust & safety Vijaya Gadde, held regular meetings with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to discuss censorship on a wide range of topics, including the withdrawal from Afghanistan, coronavirus, and “racial justice,” according to leaked documents.

The information came to light via leaks to the Intercept, as well as documents and minutes revealed through Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s lawsuit filed against the Biden Administration that alleges government collusion with Big Tech to suppress Americans’ First Amendment rights.

According to the material, DHS plans to target alleged misinformation around “the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, racial justice, U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the nature of U.S. support to Ukraine.”

Judge Orders True the Vote Leaders Detained for Contempt of Court

A U.S. district judge on Monday ordered that two leaders of a conservative election integrity watchdog organization be detained for a day following their failure to comply with a court mandate to hand over evidence as part of their legal battle with Konnech, a Michigan-based firm that provides poll watcher management software to election offices.

After holding both in contempt in a Thursday hearing, U.S. District Judge Kenneth Hoyt ordered that Gregg Phillips and Catherine Engelbrecht comply with the court order to name an unidentified individual whom they say was present at a 2021 meeting during which they purportedly received evidence to substantiate their claims against Konnech. Hoyt gave them until 9 a.m. Monday morning to produce the information or face detention, per the Texas Tribune. They declined to comply.

“Therefore, the defendants Gregg Phillips and Catherine Englebrecht [sic], are ORDERED detained by the U.S. Marshal for one-day and further until they fully comply with the Courts Order as set out in the TRO,” Hoyt wrote Monday. Marshals escorted the pair from the courtroom to a holding cell after they refused on Monday to name the other individual present at the meeting. They will reportedly remain in jail until they release the name of the man.

Phillips previously announced the contempt ruling on Thursday via Truth Social, saying, “Doing the right thing isn’t always easy but it’s always right… We were held in contempt of court because we refused to burn a confidential informant or our researchers. John Fetterman’s Wife Claims Swimming Is ‘Racist’

Pennsylvania Senate candidate Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s (D) wife, Gisele Fetterman, made a wild claim that “swimming in America is very racist.”

While speaking on the iGen Politics podcast, Mrs. Fetterman said they planned to use the pool at the Pennsylvania lieutenant governor’s mansion, which she claims they did not want, to teach minorities how to swim.

“And while we did not want the mansion, the mansion came with a pool… and the pool I wanted,” she said. Adding, “And the dream was to open this pool and make it a public pool. Turn it into the people’s pool. And ensure that young people across Pennsylvania could learn how to swim and learn water safety.”

Mrs. Fetterman said the pool would be used to “right some of the wrongs” of so-called “racist” swimming.

“You know, historically, swimming in America is very racist… usually, when you look at drowning statistics, it usually affects children of color, because of a lack of access,” she said.

Zang Jianjun was executive director of Chinese oil giant CEFC, which partnered with Joe Biden’s brother Jim and son Hunter on a deal that earned the First Family millions of dollars.

Text messages obtained by DailyMail.com reveal Zang was in close contact with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and that the Chinese leader gave the green light for his partnership with the Bidens.

Zang even traveled to Moscow with Xi and met with Putin while brokering a massive $9.1billion deal to buy a share of the Russian state-owned oil firm Rosneft in 2017.

Luke Bryan Responds to Twitter Outrage After Bringing Ron DeSantis on Stage

Country music star Luke Bryan defended his decision to invite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis onstage during a Friday show after the move resulted in backlash on social media.

Bryan invited the Republican governor to appear during his show in Jacksonville, Florida, as part an effort to help raise funds in the wake of Hurricane Ian that devastated parts of the state last month.

“We’re going to have some fun and we’re going to raise some money tonight for the great state of Florida,” Bryan said during the show before welcoming DeSantis. As the governor walked onstage, the audience greeted him with loud cheers, a video from the concert shared to Twitter shows.

Following the governor’s appearance, the singer and American Idol judge received backlash.

Ligma Johnson: Men Tell Reporter They’re Fired Twitter Employees, Give Hilarious Fake Names

Two San Francisco men seemingly duped a CNBC reporter covering the alleged mass Twitter layoffs following the takeover of Elon Musk.

Both men claimed to be fired Twitter employees. One man told reporters his name was “Rahul Ligma,” while the other identified himself as “Daniel Johnson,” a video showed.

“Entire team of data engineers let go. These are two of them,” a tweet from CNBC reporter Deirdra Bosa read, implying they took the men’s statements seriously.

Both men carried boxes filled with office supplies. “Rahul,” who spelled his first and last names for the reporter, held a copy of Michelle Obama’s 2018 memoir, “Becoming,” while “Johnson” said he didn’t know how he’s would make payments on his Tesla, another tweet stated. . .

“After CNBC published details of an interview with people who claimed to be fired employees of Twitter, several reports emerged suggesting it was a hoax. CNBC could not confirm the identities of the individuals,” an update to a CNBC article on the layoffs stated.
