State Votes to Ban Sex Change Procedures for Minors After Volatile Testimony

The Florida Board of Medicine has voted to ban sex change surgeries and hormone therapy for children under the age of 18 after hours of deliberation and testimony Friday.

The guidelines, first released April 20, 2022, state that anyone under 18 cannot receive hormone therapy or puberty blockers. It also bans “gender reassignment” surgery for children and adolescents. The Florida Medical Board released the guidance in response to guidance from the US Department of Health and Human Services endorsed sex change procedures for teens.

The state surgeon general endorsed the move in June and called on the medical board to, “review the Agency’s findings and the Department’s guidance to establish a standard of care for these complex and irreversible procedures.”

The vote came after the board heard testimony from several individuals who had detransitioned. One such individual, Chloe Cole, said she decided to transition after being “introduced to inappropriate content, and an echo chamber of far-Left ideology, such as that sex and gender are separate, women are inherently victims, men are inherently superior, and that dysphoric children need hormones and surgery in order to live.” (Read more from “State Votes to Ban Sex Change Procedures for Minors After Volatile Testimony” HERE)

Democratic Staffer Fired After Covertly Working With Chinese Embassy

A staffer for Democratic Virginia Rep. Don Beyer was fired this week for allegedly working on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Washington to set up meetings with other Congressional aides, according to a National Review report.

The staffer, Barbara Hamlett, allegedly reached out to other Congressional staffers and attempted to arrange meetings between them and Chinese Embassy officials for at least several months, National Review reported. Beyer quickly fired Hamlett after he learned of the allegations against her and investigated.

Whistleblower Details How FBI Allegedly Broke Rules, Made Jan. 6 Higher Priority Than Child Pornography

An FBI whistleblower joined Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan Friday to reveal his frustration with the bureau’s leadership over the January 6 investigations and detail what he experienced as an agent.

Steve Friend, who was a domestic terrorism investigator before being suspended, told the host of “The Andrew Klavan Show” that the FBI broke its own rules when investigating January 6 cases and arrested people without enough evidence. He also explained how one of his superiors told him that January 6 was a higher priority than pursuing child pornography cases.

“When I was moved over to from my child exploitation cases, the assistant special agent in charge even mentioned that he felt that child pornography was going to be a local issue and that domestic terrorism, specifically January 6th, was the higher priority,” Friend said.

The whistleblower added that when he started getting involved on January 6 cases, he noticed that they were “more or less being directed from Washington, D.C.,” even though local field offices usually call most of the shots on cases. Friend explained that this was “inconsistent with FBI rules.”

“So we have very specific rules when it comes to having cases open once they’re opened and assigned to a specific field office,” Friend told Klavan. “And there’s agents or task force officers who are running that case. Biden Blames Republicans for Violent Attack on Nancy Pelosi’s Husband

President Joe Biden (D) blamed Republicans on Friday night for a man who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D) husband during the early morning hours on Friday. . .

Addressing a crowd on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania, Biden called the attack “despicable,” saying there is “no place in America” for it.

“There’s too much violence, political violence, too much hatred, too much vitriol,” Biden said. “And what makes us think that one party can talk about stolen elections, COVID being a hoax, that it’s all a bunch of lies, and it not affect people who may not be so well balanced.”

“What makes us think that it’s not going to corrode the political climate?” he continued. “Enough is enough is enough. Every person of good conscience needs to clearly and unambiguously stand up against violence in our politics, no matter what your politics are.”

Heavy.com, a fact-finding website, highlighted a tweet from a Mission Local journalist Joe Eskenazi that stated: “My sources also name the suspect in this morning’s hammer attack on Paul Pelosi as David DePape, born 1980, of Berkeley. By Daily Wire. New Twitter CEO Elon Musk fired Twitter’s top lawyer Vijaya Gadde — head of legal policy, trust, and safety — immediately after taking over the social media company Thursday evening.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this year that Gadde “played a key role in the contentious decisions to ban Donald Trump and suppress news articles about Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Politico reported earlier this year that after news broke in April that Musk would be buying the platform, “Gadde cried during [a] meeting as she expressed concerns about how the company could change.”

Massive Ban on Gas-Powered Cars Given Green Light, Will Impact Hundreds of Millions

Negotiators from the European Union reached a deal that would effectively ban sales of gas-powered cars beginning in 2035.

The deal was reached on Thursday by negotiators from EU member countries, European Parliament, and the European commission.

By 2035, the new law states that carmakers must cut their CO2 emissions by 100%, rendering it impossible to sell cars that are gas-powered.

Jan Huitema, a lead negotiator for the European Parliament, said that the deal is “good news.” . . .

Additionally, by 2030, carmakers must achieve a 55% cut in CO2 emissions from 2021 levels. The automobile industry was previously operating off of a target of a 37.5% cut in emissions by 2030. Report: Biden Shifts Midterms Closing Pitch, Says Republicans Will ‘Trash’ Economy

President Joe Biden’s “11th-hour effort to shift the debate over inflation and the economy” ahead of the midterm elections is to warn voters that Republicans will “trash” the economy, according to the Washington Post.

In a speech earlier this week, Biden warned that Republicans vowing to restrain Biden’s agenda using the power of the purse would result in “more chaos, more inflation and more damage to the American economy.”

“It’ll be the first time in our history America will default,” he claimed.

Recent polls have shown that his and Democrats’ efforts to paint Republicans as threats to democracy have failed to become a motivating issue in the upcoming elections, and that Americans are instead concerned about the inflation that has skyrocketed under Biden’s administration and hurt pocketbooks across the political spectrum. Study Finds Trans ‘Top Surgery’ up Almost 400% Among Children

As the debate over the proper treatment for children who identify as transgender becomes a national talking point, a peer-reviewed journal published a pediatric study that shows an almost 400% increase in some transgender surgeries performed on children.

Researchers Rishub Karan Das, Dr. Galen Perdikis, Dr. Salam Al Kasis and others found “the annual number of gender-affirming chest surgeries increased by 389%” between 2016 to 2019, according to a study published by the pediatric network of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Oct. 17.

Although there was a lack of information in the study regarding irreversible sex change procedures on minors, the study found some surgeries, like chest reconstruction, were increasing. Between 2016 and 2019, an estimated 1,130 chest reconstruction surgeries were performed on children under the age of 18, according to the study.

Female children were among the highest number of patients, with 1,114 chest reconstruction surgeries performed to masculinize an adolescent chest, compared to the 16 feminizing chest reconstruction surgeries performed during the same period, according to JAMA. More Lies: Biden Makes False Claims About Gas Prices Under Trump Administration

President Joe Biden falsely spoke about gas prices under the Trump administration Thursday, claiming the most common price of gas was “over five dollars” when he took office.

“The most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office,” Biden said while speaking on Micron’s plan to invest in CHIPS Manufacturing in Syracuse, New York.

The national average price of gas was $2.39 on Jan. 23, 2021, days after Biden took office, according to data from GasBuddy.
