Glenn Beck interview with FRC shooting eyewitness General Boykin-Page 3

GLENN BECK: Well, General, you are one of my favorite people because you never mince words and you’ve taken a strong stand to your own peril for a very long time. You’re a personal hero. Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin. Our best to the Family Research Council and everybody. How is everybody doing there?

GENERAL BOYKIN: They are doing well. Leo is an extraordinary hero and he’s doing quite well. I was with him when he came out of surgery; and the people at FRC are tough warriors, Glenn. We are not going away. We’re not going to change our position. We’re going to stand firm because we do believe that we are speaking for the majority of Americans who still maintain very traditional values.

GLENN BECK: Thank you very much, General. I –

GENERAL BOYKIN: Thank you, Glenn. God bless you.

Glenn Beck interview with FRC shooting eyewitness General Boykin-Page 2

GLENN BECK: Well, I think the way to make sure everybody understands your point is to be a mass murderer. The media is reacting to this in their stereotypical way. General, what is the way — how do we change this? They’re ignoring the Black Panthers who have come out and said, Throw bombs into nurseries, kill crackers, as they would say, and everybody is ignoring it. The press even makes us into conspiracy freaks for bringing is up. We bring up the left is the one that always has caused 90% of the shootings and the political statement, kind of bombings, et cetera, et cetera, the terror throughout American history it’s generally from either crazy people or the left and how do we get this message out? Who do we do, General?

GENERAL BOYKIN: Well, Glenn, it’s even worse than that. It’s worse. I mean, not only are they ignoring this and don’t want to deal with it but CNN the morning after in an interview with Brian Brown from the National Organization For Marriage actually tried to justify the hate group label that was placed on the Family Research Council by this anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-sematic Marxist organization called the Southern Poverty Law Center which is a — just an evil group of people and so they actually tried to justify this hate crimes — I mean this hate group label that they gave. What do we do? Well, CNN’s ratings are already in the tank, as well as most of the mainstream media and what we do is continue to do what you are doing with both your radio program, as well as your broadcast, and other organizations like yours, we keep putting the truth out and it is starting to resonate and I think that’s the reason that the popularity of your program is growing is Americans are actually starting to look for truth. You know, Glenn, it’s important to remember that in a recent survey 80% of Americans surveyed supported Dan Cathy and his stance on traditional marriage but the mainstream media is never going to report that and the Southern Poverty Law Center is right in the middle of this culture war and I think what you’re doing and what others like you are doing, particularly with talk radio and with nontraditional means of communication is so critical to keeping the truth out for the American public today.

GLENN BECK: Okay. You made quite a statement about the Southern Poverty Law Center. Most people don’t even know who they are because — they’re quoted all the time by all of the news networks. They’re taking a look at all of the hate groups and monitoring all hate crimes. They have put the Black Panthers in the category of a right wing extremist group on the same list as FRC and the same list as David Barton. Can you — who is the Southern Poverty Law Center? Who are they?

GENERAL BOYKIN: Well, first of all, I’ve already given you my label for them and they are — in fact, they are very similar to the ACLU. They’re a group of lawyers, as well as Marxists who have, in fact, raised an awful lot of money which we understand is being kept offshore and they go after every liberal cause in America. They are — they — in fact, they just had a big meeting this week with the Muslim political action committee and that is a very anti-sematic organization and these people are dangerous, they are evil, and my question is, Glenn, who are they to have any authority to declare anybody a hate group? And, remember, they also called Hitler right wing, as well. I don’t mean SPLC but, you know, people today on the left refer to Hitler as right wing and compare conservatives to Hitler. Well, Hitler was anything but right wing. Remember, he was the nationalist socialist party.

GLENN BECK: Are you more optimistic, less optimistic, or about the same as you were a year ago for the health of the nation?

GENERAL BOYKIN: I am so concerned, Glenn. I must tell you, I’m angry. I’m really angry. I’m angry because people like you and the FRC and others are standing up and speaking for what I believe is the majority of Americans, while Americans, you know, sit at home and cheer you on but they’re doing very little to actually get involved in this culture war and I’m optimistic that people are starting to wake up and as tragic as this event was, Glenn, I think that it is just another way that people are being shaken and people are being brought to an awareness that we are losing our country and the average American that stands on traditional values, the average Christian that believes in a biblical world view have got to get involved and they’ve got to put their time, their effort, their money, and their speech behind what is happening here. So, thank you for what you’re doing.

Fmr KS AG Phill Kline: Planned Parenthood broke law, wrong to dismiss charges-page 3

The District Attorney also did not follow up on evidence that demonstrated that Planned Parenthood was illegally referring patients to Dr. Tiller to perform abortions Planned Parenthood knew to be illegal. Planned Parenthood records demonstrated that some of their patients, according to Planned Parenthood, were carrying a healthy viable late-term fetus. Planned Parenthood also reported the mothers were physically and mentally healthy.

Under Kansas law an abortion of a healthy viable fetus is illegal unless the birth of the child would cause the mother “severe and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function.” Despite the fact that Planned Parenthood concluded the mother was healthy and the fetus was viable, Planned Parenthood, nevertheless, referred the patients to Dr. Tiller who performed illegal abortions on these patients. This evidence was not pursued by the District Attorney.

The investigation included employee and patient informants who, to my knowledge, were never contacted by the District Attorney’s office.

This evidence was reviewed by independent District Judges who found probable cause to believe Planned Parenthood committed crimes. In fact, in every single instance the evidence was reviewed, probable cause was found. Yet now, none of these charges will ever reach open court.

The law allows a prosecutor the discretion to abandon prosecutions against powerful defendants – even when judges have found probable cause for the case to move to trial. This fact, however, does not make this decision correct but only demonstrates the District Attorney acted out of political fear rather than a sound understanding of the law, the facts or the case.

Fmr KS AG Phill Kline: Planned Parenthood broke law, wrong to dismiss charges-page 2

Dr. Goodwin determined the gram weight of the aborted fetus by analyzing the pathology report. The gram weight indicated the fetus was much later in gestation than Planned Parenthood claimed and it was Dr. Goodwin’s conclusion that every single abortion performed in the 29 records obtained was on a viable fetus and, therefore, was illegal.

This allegation was also supported by other witnesses and a review of the files from Dr. Tiller’s clinic in Wichita. Doctors who performed abortions for Planned Parenthood would also perform abortions at Dr. Tiller’s clinics. Eyewitnesses and records revealed that when those doctors were at Dr. Tiller’s clinic they engaged in the same conduct – misrepresenting the gestational age of the fetus in order to justify illegal late-term abortions.

It is not surprising the District Attorney does not understand the charges as, to my knowledge, his office did not contact any of these witnesses, obtain any of the records relating to Dr. Tiller’s clinic, never acted to preserve the testimony of Dr. Goodwin nor tried to contact anyone involved in the initial investigation.

The news release also claims that it was necessary to dismiss some of the older charges because the statute of limitations prohibited the filing of those charges. This statement ignores the claim that Planned Parenthood misrepresented the gestational age of the fetus thus tolling the statute of limitations.

In November of last year the District Attorney announced that he was dismissing the 23 felony charges against Planned Parenthood because documents key to that prosecution were destroyed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in 2005, at a time the agency was managed by former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

Mr. Howe also announced that Sebelius appointee, former Attorney General Stephen Six, destroyed other key evidence in May of 2009 at a time Mr. Six knew the records were part of a criminal prosecution against Planned Parenthood. This obstruction by the Sebelius Administration and her appointees was harmful to the case but not fatal. The necessary records to proceed were in the possession of Shawnee County District Court Judge Richard Anderson who recently reported that Mr. Howe’s office never made any written request for the records. The District Attorney’s office also had a set of copies.

Alaska’s primary election: One of the most important in the history of our state, page 4

The other primary race that is of interest in the Valley is the three-way Republican Primary between Ralph Seekins, Click Bishop and a Valley political newbie, David Eastman. Seekins and Bishop are both well know in the Fairbanks area and Eastman is known more in the Valley. What is unknown is how Bishop will play with the Democrats in the Senate. Bishop is known for his very strong union ties. Eastman, a strong pro-life conservative, is new to the field with little apparent backing but he says he has “lots of volunteers.” Seekins is well known around the state and is considered a conservative. Of the three, Eastman and Seekins are considered to be the most conservative. As a Republican, it is hoped Bishop will publically commit to NOT organize with the Democrats before informed voters support him. He has not made such a promise yet. I hope the voters ask the tough questions about who he will support for the Senate leadership.

The other general (November) race of interest in the Fairbanks area is the Coghill-Thomas race. Both names are well known and respected in the Fairbanks area. That race presents a clear choice: Thomas is a Democrat and will roll with the Dems, while Coghill is a proven conservative with a long family political history in Alaska.

I hope this analysis helps voters make wise choices for the future of Alaska. I ask each and every one of you to make a difference and call your friends, relatives and co-workers and encourage then to vote on Aug 28th. This is one election where every vote will count and have great impact on the very existence of the Alaskan lifestyle as we know it and your family’s investments in Alaska.

Bottom line: Research the candidates in your area and make an informed vote in the Republican Primary August 28th.

Menard has passed only two insignificant bills, the Marmot Day bill, and a bill creating a vanity license plate. She did however passionately fight (but failed) to add a verse to the Alaska State Song. Her own majority member, Senate Finance Chairman Bert Steadman (R) Sitka, said to the Daily News that her presentation on the KUBATA (Point Mac-Anch bridge) to the Senate Finance Committee was the worst presentation he had ever seen (or words to that effect). The Daily News reported that she was joyfully skipping down the halls of the Capitol singing “hallelujah” when the special session on the Governor’s oil tax bill was ended, saying that her stomach could not take the stress of more time in special session. She threw a very pro-hunting Fairbanks nominee to the Game Board under the bus by voting “no” for his confirmation. Additionally, while recently touting she is the “Valley Conservative” she is, in fact, heavily supported by Labor, with NEA union lobbyists purportedly going door to door for her. While she was President of the Mat Su School Board, she was sanctioned by the School Board for improperly influencing a school principle in a personnel matter involving a family member.

Menard’s challenger is Mike Dunleavy. Dunleavy is a strong contrast to Menard. The headline “head and shoulders above the rest” is a great description of Mike Dunleavy, being not only tall in stature but also in conservative thought and principled action. Dunleavy started as a teacher in the North West Arctic School District, and worked his way up to being the Superintendant. He was the Chair of Governor Parnell’s education transition team. He is the current Mat Su District School Board President and is an advocate for competition in education, including home schools and private schools. Dunleavy has also owned and operated a private consulting business. He has successfully managed large organizations and large budgets. Dunleavy has provided conservative leadership to the School Board and has honorably served.

Dunleavy is unapologetically conservative and will bring conservative leadership to the Senate. He will not support democratic control of the Senate. Dunleavy is recognized for his thoughtful approach to solving problems and knows that Alaska needs more oil in the pipeline to avoid a mid 1980’s or worst crash. Dunleavy has a plan to restore fish to Valley streams, and is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He has a small ranch North of Wasilla in the foothills of the Talkeetna Range and owns mules and a horse. Mike has the endorsement of Alaska Right to Life because his strong pro-life views. Menard, while personally pro-life, supported the Democratic Senate Leadership (Senator Hollis French) that kills any and all pro-life legislation. Dunleavy also enjoys the endorsement of the Valley’s Conservative Patriots Group and the Outdoor Council for his pro-hunting advocacy. Mike Dunleavy is the genuine article when it comes to being a true conservative Republican.

Another interesting race is between Rep. Wes Keller and former Houston Mayor Roger Purcell. Wes Keller is a proven solid conservative and carried a strong conservative agenda in the House. He has endorsement of many conservative groups, including Outdoor Council, Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife Legislator of the Year, National Federation of Independent Businessmen-Legislator of the Year, Right to Life, the NRA and the Conservative Patriots Group.

Keller is an unassuming public servant, and prefers to work quietly without bringing attention to himself. He effectively serves as the Health and Social Services Chairman, a committee that oversees the state agency with the biggest budget. This committee is very, very important but rarely gets attention of the press. Keller also serves as the Chair of the Citizens Advisory Commission on Federal Areas, an official watchdog group that holds the federal land managers accountable. He also serves on the Alaska Healthcare Commission. Keller is recognized as a thoughtful, intelligent and committed conservative in the House.

His opponent, Roger Purcell, was the former Mayor of Houston. During his tenure, Houston politics were often in the press, rarely in a positive light. Purcell is most noted for alleged misuse of a police vehicle as mayor, including running lights and sirens while passing vehicles on a road trip to Fairbanks and attempting to issue speeding tickets while not being a police officer. Purcell is endorsed mostly by himself, by funding his campaign with over $22,000 of personal loans to his campaign. He has filed for bankruptcy twice. In 2006, he was admonished by Judge Eric Smith for being an unreliable witness in a murder trial. Purcell is fond of talking big talk about the same big projects lots of other politicians promise.

Then there’s the Lynn Gattis-Mark Ewing race. Gattis, a current School Board Member, is a successful businesswoman, a lifelong Alaskan, pilot, outdoors woman, and farmer. She is a breath of fresh air to the usual wanna-be’s that seek office in Juneau. Ewing, a current Mat Su Assemblyman, tends to be overly outspoken and does not seem to be campaigning too earnestly. Incidently, like Menard, Ewing is another candidate heavily backed by unions.

Shelly Hughes and Dan Hamm are facing off in the primary with Hughes having received the nod from the ARP to be appointed by the Governor to fill the rest of late Rep Carl Gatto’s House seat. Hamm is a newcomer and Hughes has a lot of experience in the halls of Juneau representing Alaska Primary Care Association.

Rep Bill Stoltze has a primary, but no one has seen his opponent and no serious challenge is expected.

Senator Charlie Huggins and Rep Mark Neuman have only Democrat challengers and those races will be decided in November. Huggins and Green cracked open the door to the coalition, with Huggins in positions of leadership, but the Dems threw him under the bus after the last election. Huggins lost the top cover of Sen. Green.

George Raucher, a long time Alaskan, is a strong pro-life conservative running for State House in District 6. Although Raucher has not held public office, he has been very active in his community in many areas including Lazy Mountain Bible Church Missions Board, Alpine Historical Park Board of Directors, Sutton Community Council, and Volunteer Fireman & EMT. He was also a delegate to the 2012 District and State ARP Conventions. Raucher is a contractor, carpenter, and draftsman by trade. His incumbent challenger, Eric Feige, is a pilot by trade, and is not a social conservative. But he has come up with a good approach to putting environs on the hook for damages to developers if they file frivolous lawsuits.

Part VI: Arrested Marine Vet: Patriot or Nutcase Revolutionary?

Just two days before his rest, Mr. Raub states that men will be at his house to pick him up to “lead” the Revolution. He gives his address:

The day before his arrest Mr. Raub cryptically states that “they will say he said it to the NSA first.”

His final post appears to be the trailer from The Last Samurai.

Scattered throughout Mr. Raub’s Facebook postings are a number of conspiracy theory postings involving Truther theories, the Bohemian Grove, contrail poisoning, the Illuminati, etc. He also criticizes Facebook and its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, suggesting that he knew his postings were being monitored.

There was a single overt reference to violence in the stand-alone “sharpening the axe to ‘sever heads'” comment.  No Facebook threats were made toward the President or the Vice President.

My review of Mr. Raub’s Facebook page suggests a narcissistic self-delusion that he was going to be the leader of some sort of nationwide civil war. Either that, or the whole thing was a bad joke gone too far.

Nevertheless, as a former United States Magistrate Judge who has heard dozens of Glass warrant applications, my assessment is that the federal government likely had secured wiretaps on Mr. Raub’s telephone communications.  It probably could have justified a warrant on the basis of what was posted on Facebook.  Given the character of Mr. Raub’s Facebook postings, his telephone communications may have been even wilder.

The unveiling of the federal government’s likely indictment next week should be interesting. We’ll be sure to report it here.

Part V: Arrested Marine Vet: Patriot or Nutcase Revolutionary?

He becomes much, much more aggressive in his postings a little over a week ago, practically begging someone to take notice:

Mr. Raub also began to encourage veterans to join him in his revolution and sounds increasingly more desperate in these posts from August 10 and 12:

Last week, Mr. Raub claims “the cavalry are coming” to rescue us from our “evil” government, and references the impending civil war:

And then, he overtly references violence in this post from August 13:

Continue to the Conclusion HERE.

Part IV: Arrested Marine Vet: Patriot or Nutcase Revolutionary?

Mr. Raub repeatedly attacks the New World Order:

Between December 2011 and July 2012, other than sporadic friend activity, there is only one post in April:

Clicking on the YouTube link in the April posting brings you to a DMX music video.

Fast forward to less than a month ago, July 24. In the below post, Mr. Raub says he wants “to get the revolution started” but needs “someone to pick me up”:

Starting three weeks ago, Mr. Raub became more vocal about the need for revolution:

And then, just two weeks ago, this:
