Dems Block Resolution Declaring Border Crisis (VIDEO)

Senate Democrats blocked a resolution by Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) which stated the current influx of migrants at the southern border constitutes a crisis.

Though Democrats shot down the resolution, it was an uncontroversial one according to a recent poll finding 76 percent of registered voters believe the surge at the border is a crisis that must be addressed immediately.

“It’s obvious to just about everyone outside of Washington that the situation on our southern border is a crisis. I can’t believe that anyone wouldn’t believe that it’s a crisis,” Inhofe began his floor speech. “But there are some who would answer that it isn’t a crisis. President Biden and the DHS Secretary refuse to call it a crisis.”

“They [the administration] call it a challenge. This isn’t a challenge. This is a crisis,” Inhofe stated.

LIAR, LIAR: Harris Claims No One Is Taking Away Guns While Dems Gear Up To Do Just That; 9th Circuit Rules: No Constitutional Right to Open Carry

By The Federalist. Vice President Kamala Harris said no one is “trying to come after your guns” as President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats prepare to do exactly that. . .

Harris’s comments come as Biden and his allies in Congress are calling for a federal ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, restricting gun access for even law-abiding citizens after multiple deadly shootings in the last two weeks.

“We can ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country once again,” Biden said shortly after the shooting in Boulder, Colorado. “I got that done when I was a senator. It passed. It was the law for the longest time. And it brought down these mass killings. We should do it again.”

Biden also urged legislators to pass bills expanding a background check system for firearm sales, a change that some senators on the left side of the aisle think could garner enough Republican support to bypass the filibuster, which multiple members are trying to abolish. Carrying Guns in Public Is Not a Constitutional Right, Ninth Circuit Rules

By Court House News. Americans have no right to carry guns in public, a divided en banc Ninth Circuit panel ruled Wednesday, reversing a prior Ninth Circuit decision that struck down a Hawaii firearm restriction as unconstitutional.

“There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment,” U.S. Circuit Judge Jay Bybee, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote for the majority of an 11-judge panel in a 127-page opinion. . .

Plaintiff George Young sued Hawaii in 2012 for denying his applications for permits to carry a concealed or openly visible handgun. A Hawaii state law requires a license to carry a gun in public.

Under a Hawaii County regulation, the police chief may only grant such licenses to those who need a gun for their job or who show “reason to fear injury” to their “person or property.” No one other than a security guard has ever obtained an open-carry license in Hawaii, lawyers for the county acknowledged during a Ninth Circuit hearing in 2018. President of Mexico: Border Crisis Is Biden’s Fault (VIDEO)

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador blamed President Joe Biden on Tuesday for the ongoing immigration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, suggesting that the new president and his administration provoked mass migration by broadcasting open-borders policies.

The left-wing politician, often referred to as AMLO, appeared to agree with conservative critics of the president, who say that his departure from former President Donald Trump’s tougher stance on immigration has resulted in unprecedented numbers of migrants surging into the country, Newsweek reported.

“Expectations were created that with the government of President Biden, there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so,” the Mexican president said during a Tuesday press conference.

Later in the same press conference, according to Newsweek, Obrador blamed Biden for making matters worse at the border by ignoring the fact that bad actors such as smugglers and traffickers are able to capitalize on the mass migration. WATCH: ‘Social Justice Commission’ in Virginia Starts Tense With Unannounced ‘Equity Pledge’

The Racial and Social Justice Commission of Prince William County, Virginia held Thursday its first working meeting, where the board members were asked to recite an “Equity Pledge” which had not been circulated beforehand.

The meeting saw a number of tense moments, beginning when chairwoman Shantell Rock requested adding an item to the agenda that would limit commissioners’ speaking time to just three minutes when discussing motions, InsideNoVA reported.

After her motion was passed, Rock proceeded to urge the commissioners and those present in the audience to join her in reciting the “Equity Pledge” that was projected on the screen, only to be interrupted by Coles Commissioner Charles Haddow. . .

“I don’t know what this pledge is. I’m sure it’s well-intentioned,” Haddow said, according to InsideNoVA. “I didn’t come here to do the exercise that’s team-building instead of examining the issues and disparities.”

Former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden on Friday for having fallen while climbing the stairs to Air Force One.

“I watched as Joe Biden went up the stairs today … and I said, ‘I didn’t lose to him,’ which we didn’t lose to him,” Trump said in video depicting him at a podium at his Mar-a-Lago resort. “Almost 75 million votes and probably a lot more than that.”

Trump has repeatedly claimed that he did not actually lose to Biden and mounted an ultimately failed legal attempt to overturn results in several states. After Trump’s legal team failed to substantiate claims of widespread voter fraud and voting irregularities, Biden’s electoral victory was certified by Congress on Jan. 7 following a riot by election protesters at the Capitol.

Biden, the oldest president of the United States at 78 years old, stood up from the multiple stumbles after a few seconds on the ground to offer a salute in front of television cameras at the top of the staircase as he prepared to fly to Atlanta to discuss the recent shooting that left eight dead. . .

In 2020, CNN, the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg, and other outlets publicly wondered about the state of Trump’s health after he made a “slow and halting descent down a ramp” at West Point after he delivered a commencement speech.

Press totally ignores Biden’s obvious physical/health limitations

By Eddie Scarry. The national media were ready to have a 25th Amendment party when a sloppy book by Michael Wolff came out with a bunch of ditzy rumors about President Trump’s mental acuity.

By contrast, we just watched the current president literally collapse and there’s not a peep of concern from the press.

Joe Biden on Friday was climbing up to board Air Force One when, even with his hand on the rail for support, he tripped over one of the steps. He pushed himself up only to see the same thing happen a second time. Finally, gravity got the best of his 78-year-old ankles and he fell to his knees.

WATCH: Florida Spring Breaker Flees Patrol Car in Handcuffs as Revelers Cheer Him On

A Florida spring breaker was seen on video leaping out of a police car and running through a crowded beach in Clearwater as fellow revelers cheered him on.

The 18-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and escaping after a bystander opened the back door of a patrol car, and he made a run for it while in shackles, according to an arrest form obtained by the Washington Examiner.

He was initially cuffed after law enforcement observed him fighting with another person in the sand, and both suspects had each other in headlocks, police said.

The escape happened as dozens of partygoers rallied behind him and followed the 18-year-old down the beach, video of the incident posted to TikTok showed.

Speaking from the White House about Wuhan coronavirus vaccine distribution Thursday afternoon, President Joe Biden referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as the president.

“We believe that speed and efficiency must be matched with fairness and equity. Now when President Harris and I took a virtual tour of a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that tour, injecting people and giving vaccinations, said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope,” Biden said.

This isn’t the first time this has happened.

Joe Biden Finally Comments on Cuomo Scandal (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that he believes New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against him confirm the claims.

“I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too,” the president told Stephanopoulos.

The comment comes after seven women have come forward with allegations against the governor, including one that he groped a woman. He has denied the claims and refused to resign.

The president reiterated his belief that “a woman should be presumed telling the truth and should not be scapegoated and become victimized by her coming forward.” He also noted that allegations should be investigated to “determine whether what she says is true.”

A Facebook executive says his company has too much power, and it needs to be broken up to reduce the damage it is inflicting.

The comments by Benny Thomas, Facebook’s global planning lead, were captured in a hidden-camera interview by Project Veritas.

“No king in the history of the world has been the ruler of 2 billion people, but Mark Zuckerberg is,” he said.

“You should not have power over 2 billion people. I just think that’s wrong.” . . .

“I would break up Facebook, which means I would make less money probably – but I don’t care. Like that’s what needs to be done. Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Oculus, WhatsApp — they all need to be separate companies. It’s too much power when they’re all one together,” he said.
