Trump Refuses to Fund U.S. Postal Service (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo on Thursday morning that he would block additional funding and election assistance for the US Postal Service[.] . . .

Trump said in a press conference on Wednesday evening that he would not sign off on either the $25 billion in emergency funds for the USPS or the $3.5 billion in election assistance to help states that Democrats have advocated in a federal COVID-19 relief bill.

He said the same thing during the Fox Business interview on Thursday morning.

“They want $25 billion — billion — for the post office. Now they need that money in order to have the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots,” Trump said. “Now, in the meantime, they aren’t getting there. By the way, those are just two items. But if they don’t get those two items, that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting … because they’re not equipped.”

In a video tweeted by Barstool Sports, a black bear was literally just chilling at the picnic table as people took photos and offered it food.

WATCH: After Calling For Major Mandate, Biden and Harris Hurry Off Stage to Avoid Questions

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and newly minted vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris held their first “press conference” today in Delaware but didn’t take any questions.

Before walking off stage to avoid scrutiny, Biden and Harris each called for a nationwide mask mandate and also said every governor in the country should mandate the same. They said the mandate should last for three months, meaning it would end on November 13. The election is on November 3.

“Let’s institute a mask mandate nationwide immediately,” Biden said. “Every American should be wearing a mask when they’re outside for the next three months at a minimum.”

WATCH: Harris Once Joked About Killing Trump, Pence, Sessions

Presumptive Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris joked in April 2018 about President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions perishing in an imagined elevator emergency.

During an appearance on “Ellen,” host Ellen DeGeneres asked the senator from California which of Trump, Pence or Sessions she would want to be stuck in an elevator with.

“Does one of us have to come out alive?” Harris asked in response, laughing for several seconds and eliciting cheers and chuckles from the studio audience. . .

In 2016, Biden himself was stumping for then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton when he told a crowd that he would “take [Trump] behind the gym” in response to the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump made lewd comments about women.

WATCH: Trump Campaign Releases Devastating Biden Ad

The Trump campaign was ready. As soon as presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced that Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was his running mate, Team Trump released their first ad about the new ticket. In it, the campaign declares their new nicknames for the Biden-Harris ticket, “Slow Joe” and “Phony Kamala.”

On Wednesday, they released their second ad, which according to the campaign exposes Biden’s “long history of racism.” The ad’s strategy is simple: It directly quotes Biden. . .

These comments were cringey. But some of the biggest blemishes on his record on race were nicely highlighted by his newly minted running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) during the Democratic primary. In one debate, Harris shared her disgust that Biden had praised working with two former senators, Mississippi Sen. James Eastland and Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge, who supported racial segregation. WATCH: Cops Handcuff Female Protester, Get Asked If Female Cop Is There for Pat-Down. Male Officer Quips, ‘How Do You Know That I Don’t Identify as a Female?’

Portland police have endured literally months of nightly rioting that left-wing politicians and reporters routinely brushed off as “mostly peaceful protests.” They’ve been getting pelted with rocks, explosives, and other projectiles. . .

Early Sunday morning before the sun rose, a freelance journalist noticed Portland’s finest had handcuffed a female protester.

Video was running as the obligatory pat-down commenced, and the journalist — also a woman — grew suspicious as it apparently looked as though only male officers were on hand.

“Do you have a female officer present while you’re patting her down?” the journalist asked. . .

WATCH: New Evidence Supports Allegations of Ilhan Omar’s ‘Extensive Spree’ of Felonies

Once again, the media has failed to carry out even the most cursory investigation when it comes to allegations against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.). But investigative journalist David Steinberg has been piecing together “32 new, verifiable, archived pieces of evidence” that indicate Omar conducted the “most extensive spree of state and federal felonies by an elected congressperson in U.S. history.” . . .

“It’s over,” Steinberg told Glenn. “There’s really nothing left. It’s all … the publicly available documentation that anyone would need to be convinced that, for eight years, [Omar] married her brother to commit immigration fraud. And this marriage fraud also was in the service of education fraud/student loan fraud. And along the line, we have evidence, that she filed at least two years of fraudulent tax returns, possibly eight [years]. We have evidence that she perjured herself eight times during her 2017 divorce from this man. And along the way, of course, we know she was living in public housing. We also know she was likely receiving subsidized child care.

WATCH: Double-Amputee Veteran Skydives With Giant U.S. Flag, Trump 2020 Parachute

A skydiver with two prosthetic legs jumped out of an airplane to carry a huge American flag down to the 80th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota over the weekend.

Sgt. 1st Class Dana Bowman, is a former Special Forces soldier and a member of the Army’s Golden Knights parachute team, which is also how he lost his legs. He suffered the injuries in a mid-air collision during a Golden Knights training incident that left a fellow skydiver dead.

According to the Defense Department, he was the first double-amputee to reenlist.

He has 4,000 jumps under his belt, many of them after the accident, according to Black Hills Fox, a South Dakota station.

Bowman has done over 4,000 parachute jumps from an airplane. Friday he parachuted in with the American Flag at the Veterans Ride.

WATCH: Governors Closed Their Churches, So Christians Are Getting Creative; Church Defies COVID Order With Indoor Service

By Townhall. As lawmakers across the country slowly rollback their COVID-19 lockdown mandates, governors in several states have refused to lift restrictions on houses of worship. Christians have finally had enough.

Earlier this week, a tweet showing Christians gathered for a time of prayer and worship at a Las Vegas casino went viral. Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak has allowed casinos to reopen with precautions while keeping churches shuttered. The event was hosted by Evangelicals for Trump, said Faith and Freedom Coalition Chairman Ralph Reed. . .

In Pennsylvania, Christians gathered for worship in the grocery aisles of a Walmart near Pittsburgh. Gov. Tom Wolf has restricted church gatherings since April when he issued guidance urging religious leaders to “find alternatives” to in-person gatherings and directing individuals to “not gather in religious buildings or homes for services or celebrations until the stay at home order is lifted.”

California Church Defies Coronavirus Order With Indoor Service

By Washington Times. A California church held an indoor worship service Sunday morning despite a judge’s temporary restraining order barring the church from doing so.

Pastor Rob McCoy led a 9 a.m. service in defiance of coronavirus health orders at Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Ventura County’s Newbury Park. McCoy had vowed Friday to continue in-person services even though the judge’s order cited “an immediate threat to public health and safety due to the 2019 novel coronavirus.”

A livestream of the morning’s service showed a mask-less McCoy and a musician standing before at least two dozen worshipers – most of whom were also not wearing masks. It was not clear from the livestream if they were standing 6 feet (1.8 meters) apart.

WATCH: Trump Wrecks Reporter Who Complains About Crowd Size at Press Conference

Friday was a big news day, so the president held a press conference at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, to discuss the latest developments. . .

Dozens of onlookers at Trump’s golf course gathered in the room as the president also discussed the encouraging data coming out of coronavirus hotspots in the south, the better-than-expected July jobs report, the violent explosion in Beirut and the U.S. assistance being dispatched to the region, as well as a number of other items.

It was a lot to digest, and the burning question on top of one liberal reporter’s mind was, why weren’t the onlookers practicing social distancing? According to the reporter, the whole crowd was in violation of New Jersey’s rules regarding large gatherings.

“You’re wrong on that,” the president shot back, “because it’s a political activity … and it’s also a peaceful protest.” The crowd erupted in cheers at the president’s comparison.
