WATCH: Trump Taunts Media Over Released Transcript; Here’s What the Ukraine Call Transcript Revealed

By Daily Wire. Less than 24 hours after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) formally ordered an impeachment inquiry amid reports that President Trump “pressured” Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden for his role in the removal of a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating his son, the Trump administration released the partial transcript of the phone call at the center of the latest scandal. Shortly after releasing the transcript, Trump made televised comments taunting the “fake news media” for overhyping the “call from hell,” which prompted an outcry from some reporters in the room.

“It’s the single greatest witch hunt in American history,” said Trump, adding that the current scandal is “a disgraceful thing.” Referencing “the letter,” by which he clarifies that he means the transcript of the call, Trump says its release was done “at the insistence of myself and other people that read it.”

“It was a friendly letter, there was no pressure,” he said. “The way you had that built up, that call, it was going to be the call from hell. It turned out to be a nothing call — other than a lot of people said, ‘I never knew you could be so nice.’”

“So, part of the problem you have is you have the fake news, you have a lot of corrupt reporting,” the president opined. “You have some very fine reporters and journalists, but you have a lot of corrupt reporters, a lot of corrupt journalists.”

“I would rake you right in there, by the way,” he said, gesturing to some in the room, a move that sparked loud pushback from reporters. (Read more from “Watch: Trump Taunts Media Over Released Transcript” HERE)

Ukraine Call Transcript Shows Trump Sought Biden Probe, Asked About DNC Server – but Made No Mention of U.S. Aid

By Fox News. The White House on Wednesday released a transcript of President Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showing he sought a review of Biden family dealings in the country — but the document does not show Trump explicitly leveraging military aid as part of a quid pro quo, as Democrats have suggested in pressing forward with impeachment.

The document, declassified by Trump a day earlier, indicates that the call – which Trump made from the White House residence — took place July 25 from 9:03 a.m. to 9:33 a.m. A notation on the memo says it does not represent a “verbatim transcript” but is based on “notes and recollections” of those listening and memorializing the call. It is still presented in transcript form.

The memo begins with the president congratulating Zelensky on his election victory, before Trump eventually broaches the subject former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. . .

On Monday, it was reported that Trump had even ordered his staff to freeze nearly $400 million in aid to Ukraine a few days before the phone call with Zelensky, a detail that fueled impeachment calls and led House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to announce a formal impeachment inquiry Tuesday. But the call transcript does not show Trump explicitly mentioning the aid as a bargaining chip or otherwise — though Zelensky did appear to reference military aid early in the call, when he thanked Trump for “great support in the area of defense.” . . .

The transcript shows Zelensky eventually suggesting to Trump the Biden matter would be looked into by a new prosecutor. “He or she will look into the situation specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue, the issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and we will work on the investigation of the case.” (Read more from “Ukraine Call Transcript Shows Trump Sought Biden Probe, Asked About Dnc Server – but Made No Mention of U.S. Aid” HERE)

WATCH: Pelosi’s Words About Impeachment in 1998 Come Back to Haunt Her

Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s words from 1998 about the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton are being used against her now as many critics are calling her a hypocrite in light of her decision this week to push for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

“Today, the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness, but impeaching him with a vengeance,” Pelsoi said on December 18, 1998. “In the investigation of the president, fundamental principles which Americans hold dear — privacy, fairness, checks and balances — have been seriously violated. And why Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. And until the Republicans free themselves of this hatred, our country will suffer.”

Pelosi’s words stand out after it was announced this week that the Democrats are moving ahead with their plans to impeach Trump over a phone call that he had with Ukraine, which Pelosi condemned after admitting that she had not even read the transcript of the phone call.

WATCH: Pelosi Formally Announces Trump Impeachment Inquiry

By Townhall. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is formally signing off on an impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump after he spoke to the Ukrainians, reportedly trying to coerce the political leadership there to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden on corruption charges. This was dredged up after a whistleblower came forward to the intelligence community inspector general, though it’s based on anonymous second-hand sources. The whistleblower didn’t even listen in on the calls, and it’s not the intelligence community’s job to snitch on the president. The president can say whatever he wants to another foreign leader. Period. And now, before anyone has read the transcript of the call, the House Democrats are launching a full-blown impeachment push. It’s not shocking. This was going to happen eventually. They had to do this; this is why the Democrats retook the House in 2018. So, fix bayonets, everyone. This is going to get bloody[.]

Pelosi Launches Trump Impeachment Proceedings

By CBS News. Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the House is launching a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump, setting up a dramatic constitutional clash just over a year before the presidential election.

“Today I’m announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry,” Pelosi said at the Capitol late Tuesday afternoon. The inquiry marks just the fourth time in American history a president has faced a viable threat of impeachment. . .

“This week, the president has admitted to asking the president of Ukraine to take actions which would benefit him politically,” Pelosi said. “The actions of the Trump presidency revealed dishonorable facts of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections.” (Read more from “Pelosi Launches Formal Trump Impeachment Inquiry” HERE)

WATCH: FBI Raids Offices of Dem Senator as Part of ‘Ongoing Criminal Investigation’

The offices of Illinois state Sen. Mark Sandoval (D) were raided by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents on Tuesday, as part of an “ongoing criminal investigation.” . . .

The FBI did not disclose any details of the investigation, but told the Chicago Tribune that the raids on Sandoval’s district office and at the Illinois State Capital Building involved agents conducting “authorized law enforcement activity.”

According to the Associated Press, “Several men in dark suits and ties could be seen walking from the Senate Democrats’ side of the Capitol, carrying the bags and boxes of materials. The word ‘evidence’ could be see written across at least one of the bags.” The Tribune reported that one agent appeared to be carrying a desktop computer wrapped in plastic.

The Daily Mail reported that the “new investigation comes off the heels of a string of alleged corruption at Chicago’s City Hall,” citing a number of ongoing federal probes launched against Illinois officials.

Sandoval has served in the Illinois Senate since 2003, and currently serves as chairman of the Transportation Committee. The senator was also behind pushing through an initiative that doubled the state’s gas tax to 38-cents a gallon this year. The new tax went into effect in July as part of an effort to raise $45 billion for an infrastructure plan. WATCH: CNN Analyst Has Meltdown Over Whistleblower Complaint; Bombshell Revelation Unravels Whole Scandal

By Washington Examiner. CNN analyst and former FBI and CIA official Phil Mudd excoriated the unidentified whistleblower in the intelligence community who filed a complaint alleging President Trump made a “promise” with a foreign leader.

The topic of the whistleblower’s complaint was unknown until Wednesday, and many details remain unknown to the public, however the Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson called it “credible and urgent.” Atkinson testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday morning.

Mudd discussed the revelations in the story and his distaste for it during an interview with Chris Cuomo on Wednesday night.

“Boy, I’m about ready to blow a gasket. That is extremely unusual and I listened to presidential phone calls when I was an official at the White House under George W. Bush in 2001. Can you explain to me, a, why it’s the U.S. Intelligence community’s responsibility to listen to the president of the United States speaking to a foreign leader,” Mudd began. “Last I checked, Chris, when I served, we were responsible for chasing the Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, and terrorists. We’re not responsible for reporting to the Congress what the president says.” . . .

“What the heck is over the line? The president can say what he wants to Putin, he can say what he wants to Kim Jong Un. He can say to Kim Jong Un, which I think is completely over the top, I’ll go meet you in the DMZ, the demilitarized zone,” Mudd added. “The president can say what he wants. It’s not the responsibility of the intel guys to go police the president and go snitch on him to the Congress. Ridiculous.” (Read more from “CNN Analyst Has Meltdown Over Whistleblower Complaint” HERE)

Bombshell Revelation Buried Deep in Report Unravels Whistleblower Scandal Involving President Trump

By The Blaze. The whistleblower who lodged a complaint with the intelligence community inspector general about communications between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not have “direct knowledge” about the communications — but filed a complaint anyway.

The new revelation was buried deep in a CNN report detailing the fallout over the alleged July 25 phone call between Trump and Zelensky. Trump has allegedly asked Zelensky multiple times to help Rudy Giuliani investigate Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden.

According to CNN, the whistleblower complaint was filed on nothing more than hearsay:

The whistleblower didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower’s concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration’s determination that the complaint didn’t fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.

WATCH: Dem Confuses AR-15 for 10 Moving Boxes and a Heavy Machine Gun

. . .Introducing her new gun control legislation, Congresscritter Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) proved conclusively that she’s just too uninformed to go anywhere near the subject. She claims to have “held an AR-15 in my hand,” which weighed as much as “10 boxes that you might be moving.” She also claimed the rifle fired a .50 caliber round, and that “these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.”

If Lee wants to ban 90-pound .50 caliber AR-15s, I say, “Why not?” While she’s at it, Lee could put a ban on flying cars, unicorns, and doing seven impossible things before breakfast. If Lee wants to get heavy .50 machine guns off the streets, well, first she’s going to have to get some on the streets.

Here’s Jason Howerton again to show you the difference between the .223 rounds fired by most AR-15s and an actual .50 caliber machine-gun round. Lee’s claim is a lot like mistaking a Cadillac Fleetwood 75 for a Smart Fortwo.

My AR-15 weighs about 7.5 pounds unloaded, and a bit more with a 10- or 30-round magazine filled with common .223 rounds. Or rather I should say it did, before I lost it and my banned 30-round magazines in a tragic fishing accident shortly before Colorado’s 30-round magazine ban went into effect. Other popular AR-15 attachments and modifications include scopes, laser designators, the chainsaw bayonet, and of course under-barrel landshark launcher. But even a fully-loaded and heavily modified AR-15 isn’t going to weigh anything near the same as ten moving boxes. Dozens Arrested in Climate Change Protests — and Activists Put on Quite a Spectacle (VIDEO)

More than 30 activists were arrested during climate change demonstrations across the District of Columbia on Monday, and while they did gain some attention, it might not have been the kind they were looking for. . .

WTTG-TV reported that 32 people were picked up by police with arrests happening throughout the day, as protestors shut down several roads and highways dancing in the street and carrying signs protesting capitalism while demanding action on the “climate emergency.”

One activist raised eyebrows across the Twittersphere, as footage of him dancing while confetti was being thrown liberally caused critics on both sides of the political aisle to point out the irony of littering at an environmental demonstration.

Watch: Toddler Miraculously Survives After Her Father Jumps in Front of Train With Her

Commuters at a subway station in the Bronx Monday morning watched in horror as a man holding his 5-year-old daughter leapt in front of an oncoming subway train in an apparent suicide attempt. In a remarkable moment caught on video, two of the witnesses who had leapt down from the platform onto the tracks after the train came to a stop found that the little girl had miraculously survived.

“Dramatic video shows a little girl crawling out from underneath a subway train in the Bronx while commuters looked on in fear,” ABC 7 New York reported Monday along with cell phone footage of the rescue of the girl. “Her father jumped in front of the train while he held her in his arms. He did not survive, but she is going to be OK.”

The apparently suicidal man, 45, was wearing a backpack and holding his 5-year-old daughter in his arms when he jumped in front of the oncoming southbound No. 4 train at the elevated Kingsbridge Road station in the Kingsbridge Height section at around 8 a.m. Monday morning.

The action, witnesses say, appears to have been deliberate. While the man tragically died, the little girl sustained only minor injuries.

As the cell phone footage of her rescue shows, two citizen rescuers got down onto the tracks and worked to extricate the girl from underneath the train. When the rescuers pick her up and place her on the platform above, she is able to stand up and appears to be able to communicate with the stunned witnesses on the platform, who quickly encircle her, some raising their hands in relief.

WATCH: Biden Asked to Make His Case for President – Here’s His Ridiculous Response

Speaking in Iowa, former Vice President Joe Biden was confronted by a reporter who wanted to know why Iowans, with their current low unemployment rate, should shift from voting strongly for President Trump in 2016 to voting for Biden in 2020. When she asked Biden to make his case for why he should be elected, he answered, “I’m not going to.” . . .

It would definitely be difficult for Biden to make his case to Iowans; not only is the current unemployment rate in Iowa 2.5% as opposed to 3.9% across the nation, but there are other signs the economy of the state is flourishing. RadioIowa reported on Monday that the Iowa Economic Development Authority approved incentives for three businesses that have promised to create 150 new jobs. Cargill was awarded tax benefits for a $125 million expansion of its Eddyville plant and is expected to create 17 new jobs paying upward of $17 an hour; Hormel won tax benefits as it plans to move jobs from Nebraska to Dubuque, creating 58 new jobs paying over $23 an hour; Upper Iowa Beef won tax benefits allowing the company to create 75 additional jobs at roughly $22 an hour.

U.S. Navy Confirms: UFO Footage Is Real, and Were Never Meant to Be Seen by the Public (VIDEO)

A U.S. Navy spokesman confirmed in a statement to the website, The Black Vault, that videos of unidentified flying objects captured over the years and recently published in the media are authentic.

The videos were published in 2017 and 2018 by the New York Times, and show unusual flying crafts moving at high speeds thousands of feet in the air despite not having any apparent wings or visible engines, and not giving off any signs of propulsion like a traditional aircraft might.

In the videos, the pilots are heard confusedly speculating on what the aircrafts might be and expressing shock at how they move. Despite the earliest of these sightings in restricted military airspace having occurred in 2004, the objects still have not been identified. . .

“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” said Joseph Gradisher, official spokesman for the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare. “The ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ terminology is used because it provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorized/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.”

Both the Pentagon and the Navy have confirmed that the videos were never cleared for public release. (Read more from “U.S. Navy Confirms: UFO Footage Is Real, and Were Never Meant to Be Seen by the Public” HERE)
