Watch: Two Men Try to Rob 7/11 Using Fake Gun. Security Guard Shoots Them with Real Gun.

Two would-be robbers would have done well to take this elementary advice before their attempted “armed” robbery went awry when a heroic armed security guard shot the men and held them at gunpoint until the police arrived.

In this YouTube video that’s making the rounds, two black males in hoodies enter a 7-Eleven in Hamilton, New Jersey just before midnight and approach the counter.

One takes out his fake gun (that looks real), hops the counter, and pushes the cashier to the side.

The other criminal removes his backpack, jumps the counter, and opens the cash register.

As he’s about to begin removing cash, a security guard bursts into the store and shoots both robbers, who fall to the ground. (Read more from “Watch: Two Men Try to Rob 7/11 Using Fake Gun. Security Guard Shoots Them with Real Gun.” HERE)

Wow: Sarah Sanders Savages Jeff Flake During WH Press Conference

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders ripped Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., who gave a speech earlier that day suggesting the president’s criticisms of the press were Stalin-like.

“I found it quite interesting that [Sen. Flake] is coming out to attack this president considering he’s one that was recently defending an actually oppressive regime,” Sanders said. “He went to Cuba a few weeks ago and served as a mouthpiece for the oppressive Cuban government.”

“He’s not criticizing the president because he’s against oppression,” she added. “He’s criticizing the president because he has terrible poll numbers. And he is, I think, looking for some attention. I think it’s unfortunate.”

Sanders is referring to Sen. Flake’s January 6 declaration in Havana, Cuba, that there is “no evidence” that the Cuban regime committed the sonic attacks that harmed U.S. personnel. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., later pushed back on Flake’s comments, noting the attacks are a “documented fact.”

The communist regime in Cuba has denied launching the attacks, putting Flake squarely in defense of the regime’s lies as he criticizes President Trump for oppressing American media.

But Sarah Sanders was having none of this B.S. after just yesterday she held a press conference that was waaaaayyy too transparent with the media on Trump’s health.

Flake is delusional, and it’s great to see Sarah Sanders call him out for it. (For more from the author of “Wow: Sarah Sanders Savages Jeff Flake During WH Press Conference” please click HERE)

REPORT: Twitter Employees Paid to View Private ‘Sex Messages’

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released shocking undercover footage of Twitter employees admitting that Twitter spies on its users, monitors its users’ private messages, views its users’ private “sex messages,” and the employee’s flippant attitude toward the power they wield, suggesting that it may be abused by employees at the tech giant.

The undercover footage shows four current Twitter software engineers — Conrado Miranda, Clay Haynes, Pranay Singh, and Mihai Alexandru Florea — all appearing to indicate that Twitter is involved in surveilling all aspects of its user’s activities on the platform, including viewing their private messages . . .

“It is a creepy Big Brother. It’s like a level … I don’t want to say it freaks me out, but it disturbs me.” — Clay Haynes

“There’s teams dedicated to it. I mean, we’re talking, we’re talking three or four … at least, three or four hundred people. … Yes, they’re paid to look at d*ck pics.” — Clay Haynes

“Everything you send is stored on my server. … So all your sex messages and you, like, d*ck pics are on my server now. …” — Pranay Singh

Police Tell Student Activists Their ‘Free Speech’ Is Scaring Other Students

In yet another test of the U.S. Constitution’s protected freedom of speech, the Constitution Club at Southern Illinois University (SIU) inflated a giant beach ball and asked students to come by, grab a sharpie, and write whatever they felt like writing on the ball.

The students’ free speech rights exercise was quickly interrupted by campus police who informed the club members they had received complaints about the ball and the group would need to stop their activities.

According to Campus Reform, the reason SIU chose to attempt to stop the demonstration was that campus police said the students did not go through the proper channels to be able to hold the demonstration:

Executive Director of University Marketing and Communications Doug McIlhagga telling Campus Reform that the activists were in violation of the university’s policy “governing freedom of expression and demonstration activities.”

“The demonstrators didn’t follow the proper University procedure for a public forum by going through the Vice Chancellor of Administration’s Office for approval,” he elaborated. “We normally get the ‘Request For Use Of The Designated Public Forum’ form. However in this particular instance, we did not.”

Ultimately, the group was allowed to continue with their free speech demonstration but not before having to make contact with campus police to explain their actions. The SIU police did not appear to want to interrupt what the group was doing but were under marching orders from their superiors.

“This is not considered like a public place,” one campus police officer told the students. “Right now, we’re going to have to put the ball away … it’s freaking a lot of people out … people are reporting that they’re scared of the beach ball, and what’s going on here.”

At issue is whether or not a university campus, a public facility, is, in fact, private property or public property. If it is public property, then the group should not be compelled to go through any channels of approval. Instead, the group is subjected to what some consider an arbitrary process, which attempts to secure the outside approval of a third party (in this case, the Director of University Marketing and Communications) to get the blessing for what the Constitution already allows.

It is not the first time a group on campus has been accosted by police for attempting to assert their free speech rights. As TFTP reported last January, several college students were arrested for passing out pocket-sized copies of the U.S. Constitution and signing students up for membership in their conservative student organization. The incident occurred at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan, and involved members of Young Americans for Liberty who were arrested on Sept. 20, 2015, and charged with trespassing.

Brandon Withers and Michelle Gregoire were arrested and spent nearly 7 hours in jail for their unapproved distribution of the U.S. Constitution and for allegedly attempting to recruit others to their club. The “offenses” resulted in demands the students remove themselves from campus property. The students refused to leave and were arrested by campus police and charged with trespassing.

According to The Washington Times, Scottsdale, Arizona-based “Alliance Defending Freedom,” a nonprofit legal organization that “advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith,” filed a lawsuit on their behalf Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Senior ADF counsel Casey Mattox issued a statement wherein ADF claims their clients’ constitutional rights supersede any unlawful school rules denying them such freedoms.

Kellogg Community College had established several rules regarding the exercise of free speech and has established a free speech zone. Additionally, the distribution of materials, according to the college, must be approved first by the department known as Student Life. In other words, the exercise of students’ first amendment rights according to the U.S. Constitution is regulated by the public school’s Student Life department. And the school defines free speech as “solicitation,” another activity which must be pre-approved.

Plane Dangles off Cliff After Skidding off Runway

A passenger jet carrying 168 people came within meters of plunging into the sea after it skidded off an icy runway as it landed at a Turkish airport.

Panic spread through the Boeing 737-800 as it stopped at the edge of the Black Sea – with its nose dangling precariously off a cliff edge.

Luckily, flight PC8622’s wheels became stuck in icy mud as it left the runway at Trabzon Airport, which may have preventing it from entering the sea.

Pegasus Airlines confirmed in a statement there were no injuries among the 162 passengers onboard as well as two pilots and four cabin crew after they were evacuated.

Shocking footage from inside the Pegasus plane taken just moments after the crash shows passengers evacuating as women and children are heard crying out in fear. (Read more from “Plane Dangles off Cliff After Skidding off Runway” HERE)

Shock Video: Twitter Employee Offers Eye-Popping Intel in Trump Take-Down Plot

By WND. A shocking video released by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas captures Twitter employees expressing their willingness to use their access to President Trump’s account to bring down the nation’s commander-in-chief.

Employee Clay Haynes, who has worked at the company since 2016, according to his LinkedIn profile, spoke to an undercover journalist from Project Veritas on Jan. 3. Haynes said the company would be “more than happy to help the DOJ with their little investigation.”

Haynes, a self-declared “bleeding-heart liberal,” also outlined specific ways the company could help take down the president, including providing every single tweet Trump has made, even those that have been deleted, as well as any direct messages . . .

Haynes openly declared his desire to end the Trump administration.

“He’s dangerous, I don’t like him and he’s a terrible human being and I want to get rid of him,” Haynes states in the video. (Read more from “Shock Video: Twitter Employee Offers Eye-Popping Intel in Trump Take-Down Plot” HERE)

Twitter Responds to Project Veritas Video of Employee Talking About Trump’s Account

By Diana Stancy Correll. Twitter has distanced itself from comments by an employee about providing the Justice Department with President Trump’s tweets and direct messages which were caught on video and published by Project Veritas.

“The individual depicted in this video was speaking in a personal capacity and does not represent or speak for Twitter,” Twitter told International Business Times. “Twitter only responds to valid legal requests, and does not share any user information with law enforcement without such a request.”

“We deplore the deceptive and underhanded tactics by which this footage was obtained and selectively edited to fit a pre-determined narrative,” Twitter’s spokesperson said. “Twitter is committed to enforcing our rules without bias and empowering every voice on our platform, in accordance with the Twitter Rules.”

Project Veritas, a conservative group that attempts to expose media bias, released a video featuring a Twitter senior network security engineer, Clay Haynes, in a meeting. Haynes can be heard saying that Twitter is “more than happy to help the Department of Justice in their little investigation” by giving them “every single tweet that [Trump] has posted, even the ones he’s deleted. Any direct messages, any mentions.”

Trump’s campaign is being looked at by special counsel Robert Mueller, who was appointed by the Justice Department, for possible collusion with the Russians during the 2016 campaign. (Read more from “Twitter Responds to Project Veritas Video of Employee Talking About Trump’s Account” HERE)

Man Captures Video of ‘Patient Dumping’ Outside Hospital

Overnight, Imamu Baraka was walking past a Baltimore hospital when he noticed something he says he’ll never forget.

The hospital’s security guards had just wheeled a patient to a bus stop, and in the freezing temperatures they left her there. The only thing she had on was a hospital gown.

“It’s about 30 degrees out here right now,” Baraka says in a recording of the encounter. “Are you OK, ma’am? Do you need me to call the police?” he asks.

It’s called “patient dumping” and it doesn’t just happen in Baltimore. In 2007, “60 Minutes” investigated the practice of removing homeless patients from Los Angeles hospitals and leaving them downtown.

Often the patients are not insured or have other financial issues, but it’s unclear if that was the case in Baltimore. (Read more from “Man Captures Video of ‘Patient Dumping’ Outside Hospital” HERE)

Playboy Reporter Gets BURNED by Sarah Sanders

At Thursday’s White House press briefing, Playboy reporter and CNN contributor Brian Karem got his hat handed to him when he began a question with this: “I profess my ignorance in this ….”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders quickly jumped in with a sharp-witted reply that received audible gasps and laughter from the other members of the White House press corps. “You said it not me,” she said. “I mean, if you want to call yourself ignorant, I’m not going to argue.”

This wasn’t Karem’s first run-in with Sanders. Last month, I reported on the time he crossed the line by asking Sanders at the podium if she’d ever been sexually harassed.

Man Flying a Drone Takes Closer Look at Video Footage, Realizes Oblivious Boy Isn’t Alone in Shallow Water

From alligators and bears to tornadoes and lightning, individuals around the world have a higher chance of experiencing these possibly-fatal encounters with nature than encountering sharks.

However, for one boy swimming in the Bahamas, that simply wasn’t the case as drone footage displayed the harrowing moment he narrowly escaped shark-filled waters.

The drone’s cameraman, Atem Tkachenko, was using the device to capture stunning images of the beach’s crystal clear waters and sandy shore as a young boy splashed along the shore.

The scene was quick to turn from serenity to panic as four sharks were spotted swimming in the same waters of the boy who swam directly in their path.

“Run! Run!,” Tkachenko reportedly yelled to the boy, who quickly moved out of the water.

“Thank god he heard me,” Tkachenko later recalled.

The other adults present on the shore were reportedly unable to see the sharks swimming up to the boy from their viewpoint.

Though the odds of encountering a shark are slim to none, waters in the Bahamas are filled with sharks and exotic fish, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

In September 2017, footage showed a dramatic encounter between a diver and a shark as the diver viciously punched the creature after it took food from a bait box.

And, though controversial, the practice of feeding sharks in the Bahamas still remains.

Why then, in areas where these sharks are so often seen, is there so much fear of sharks from people the world over?

Gregory Skomas, a shark expert with the Massachusetts Division of Marin Fisheries, suggests it may be a primal instinct of humans that becomes triggered when seeing — or encountering — one of nature’s most frightful creatures.

Skomal credits the evolution of humans’ senses and the survival instincts that alert each individual of a potential threat, despite how minuscule that threat may actually be.

“There’s a deep-seated fear in all humans of being bitten by some animal, either on land or in the seas,” Skomal said. “And the ocean looks dark and deep and foreign to us.”

“It embellishes that fear.” (For more from the author of “Man Flying a Drone Takes Closer Look at Video Footage, Realizes Oblivious Boy Isn’t Alone in Shallow Water” please click HERE)

Roy Moore Accuser’s Home Burns; Arson Investigation Underway

Roy Moore accuser Tina Johnson lost her home Wednesday in a fire that is now under investigation by the Etowah County Arson Task Force.

Tina Johnson, who first came to public notice for accusing Senate candidate Roy Moore of grabbing her in his office in the early 1990s, said her home on Lake Mary Louise Road in Gadsden caught fire Tuesday morning.

After neighbors and some utility workers called 911 shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lookout Mountain Fire Department responded to the scene. By the time the flames were extinguished, Johnson and her family had lost everything they owned.

“I am devastated, just devastated,” said Johnson on Friday morning. “We have just the clothes on our backs.”

Nobody appears to have been harmed in the blaze; Johnson and her husband were at work, and her grandson was at school. (Read more from “Roy Moore Accuser’s Home Burns; Arson Investigation Underway” HERE)
