Most reporters continued to sit while the National Anthem played at the start of the GOP’s presidential primary debate.
Breitbart News captured a video showing most reporters and support staff sitting down, instead of standing as most Americans typically do . . .
In the past, some journalists have been under fire for texting or working during the singing of the National Anthem, while others have stated that it is a journalist’s job to remain neutral . . .
“On this subject, a recent op-ed by Mark Fitzgerald of Editor & Publisher warns journalists that perception is often truth and that the penchant that journalists have for not standing proudly and patriotically during the National Anthem does not help their image any — good advice that will be roundly ignored by journalists the country over,” noted Warner Todd Hutson in 2008 on this topic. When a Michigan town planning commission voted unanimously to deny a permit to erect a large mosque, public demonstration soon followed. The majority of those who showed up to hear last week’s decision, though, supported the commissioners.
Many living in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights noted the increased Islamic presence in the region. The demographic shift in Michigan is unmistakable, with the Muslim population swelling to as high as 30 percent in cities like Dearborn.
Prior to the commission’s vote, a number of residents expressed their concern with building the 20,500-square-foot facility, specifically in its proposed residential location. Several opponents explained that their children are living in fear due to the news coverage of Islamic terror attacks, explaining that an increased Muslim presence in their neighborhood would only add to their stress.
“You guys are forcing us out of this neighborhood,” one resident stated.
Many in the packed house applauded when another mosque opponent made it clear such a suspicious facility is not welcome in the community. (Read more from “Watch What Happens Immediately After Michigan Town Denies Mosque Building Permit” HERE)

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei continued his heated, anti-U.S. social media campaign on Sunday by releasing a video promising death and destruction to American forces if any military action is taken against his country.
On Sunday, the Iranian leader tweeted the link to a video entitled, “If any war happens.”
The video opens by quoting President Obama from an interview he gave assuring those who have any doubts about the Iran nuclear agreement that the military option is always on the table. “We could knock out their military with speed and dispatch, if we chose to,” said Obama.
An image of the White House appears next with the Ayatollah’s voice in the background stating, “A U.S. official has said that he can destroy Iran’s army. I do not want to say anything more in this regard.”
The video then depicts two cowboys, apparently representing the United States, with an Iranian fighter in the foreground pulling a knife on them. Khameni says, “Our predecessors used to call such statements, ‘boasting among strangers.’”
Next, the video shows images of Iran’s military arsenal, which it has at its disposal to attack U.S. naval and ground forces. (Read more from “Watch: Iran Just Spit in Obama’s Face With This Stunning Video Threat- Will He Respond?” HERE)

A high school cheerleading squad’s stunning 9/11 memorial routine, set to audio from the day of the attacks, went viral after being posted online (video below).
In a video of the routine, students at Lumberton High School in Lumberton, Texas, are seen beginning their routine with a dance set to the song, “God Bless the U.S.A.”
Next, the cheerleaders begin tumbling and cheering to audio of news reports from Sept. 11, 2001, when the twin towers fell in New York City. Audio of then-president George W. Bush making a statement on the attacks can be heard.
The video received mostly positive responses, with many praising the tribute as moving.
“Just watched the Lumberton cheerleader’s 9/11 performance and it gave me chills,” one viewer wrote. “That was awesome.” (Read more from “9/11 Cheerleading Routine Goes Viral” HERE)
Many people are comparing Donald Trump to late president Ronald Reagan, but according to his son Michael Reagan, these comparisons are unfounded.
The son of the late president talked about his distaste for the Trump campaign and the American people’s enthralled reaction to the billionaire in a series of regular interviews with Newsmax over the summer. Reagan said his father really believed in what he called the “11th Commandment,” which is “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”
Reagan said Trump does nothing but attacks and his father would be shocked.
“My father would be appalled,” Reagan said. “On behalf of my father and the Reagan family to see someone like this who just personally attacks people time and time and time again is absolutely appalling to me and I hope all the voters start to see through Donald Trump and the kind of candidate that he his and the kind of president he may end up being.”
He said the constant attacks is doing nothing for the political system because it isn’t allowing people to be informed on issues that matter. Reagan said that includes himself.
“I don’t like and I don’t appreciate the things he says about Jeb Bush, or what he says about Gov. Perry or anybody else. I want to hear what he’s going to do and when he tells us what he’s going to do, I can be for or against it,” Reagan said. The House Judiciary Committee probing Planned Parenthood’s abortion activities heard testimony on Sept. 9 from two women who are abortion survivors.
Gianna Jessen, who survived a saline abortion, told the committee abortion wasn’t just about women’s rights because another person, a baby, is involved.
“If abortion is about women’s rights, then what are mine?” Jessen asked.
The committee launched an investigation into Planned Parenthood after nine videos showed interviews with both the non-profit organization’s officials and those working in tissue research. The interviews contained details of how Planned Parenthood harvested and sold body parts from aborted babies. In some cases, the babies were still alive when their organs were taken, according to the videos.
The videos were part of an undercover investigation by the Center for Medical Progress, a pro-life advocacy group.
Jessen’s mother was a 19-year-old college student when she walked into a Planned Parenthood office at seven and a half months pregnant in 1977. According to Jessen, Planned Parenthood staff talked her mother into having a late-term saline abortion. The first hard-hitting words by orthodox cardinals and archbishops about the “current crisis” in the Catholic Church have been sounded. Previous comments by Vatican Cardinal Raymond Burke have been more guarded but as the Synod nears, the reality of a looming schism in the Church has pushed him and other Church leaders to a painful willingness to be frank in publicly warning about the seriousness of what is facing the Church.
Speaking to the idea proposed in the mid-term report of the 2014 Extraordinary Synod on the Family and repeated by various bishops’ conferences, he says, “It is heresy to teach that homosexual relations are not disordinate or are not disordered or have positive elements.”
The comments come in a newly released video by the Polish publication Polonia Christiana called Crisis in the Church. In addition to Cardinal Burke, the video features Archbishop Jan Pawel Lenga, who takes aim at Cardinal Reinhard Marx, president of the German bishops conference and one of Pope Francis’ Council of Nine advisors. Speaking of Marx’s acceptance of communion for remarried divorcees and his statement that the Church in Germany “is not a subsidiary of Rome,” Archbishop Lenga said, “There was Marx, Karl Marx. And if present Marx says similar things, then there is no real difference.”
Lenga, the emeritus archbishop of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, added that if the Church in Germany thinks they are so superior, “it’s some kind of Phantom, we should chase it away by the sign of the Cross.”
“The Pope during the Synod will show whose side he is on,” said Archbishop Lenga. “If he accepts the statement of those who want to distribute Holy Communion to the divorced, there would be a heresy in the Church, and if he does not accept, there could be a schism in the Church.” (Read more from “Explosive Video: Pope ‘Will Show Whose Side He’s on’ During Synod, Says Archbishop” HERE)

By Caroline Bayard. Did you know that the first Budweiser commercial featuring Clydesdales aired back in 1967 — nearly 50 years ago? . . .
The reason? It’s not because it was too racy or controversial. Budweiser only wanted the ad to play one time, because they didn’t want to make any profit off of it. They only wanted to honor the victims of that fateful day in September of the year before. The result was a beautiful tribute, showing the horses on their journey to pay tribute to the fallen.
As you can see in the video, the ad was created on the 10th anniversary, but again, only to acknowledge that awful day and pay tribute to the heroes who were affected.
It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 14th anniversary of 9/11, as even though we’ve grown stronger with time, the wounds still feel fresh and painful. (Read more from “Budweiser Honors 9/11 Victims With This Touching Ad” HERE)

On 9/11, This Hero Dog Risked His Life to Save a Blind Man, We Will NEVER Forget
By Barbara Diamond. Here’s a 9/11 hero you don’t often hear about…
Omar has been blind since the age of 28. He found Salty through Guiding Eyes For The Blind. The morning of September 11th, 2001 began like any other day. Omar and Salty headed off to work at the World Trade Center to prepare for a meeting. They made it up to the 71st floor when Omar heard the first plane crash into the North Tower.
As the electricity shut down and panic set in, this was the point where Salty could have fled and escaped to save himself — but there was no way he was about to leave his owner behind. Salty ran back and forth to find Omar, alerting him to the fact they had to run to the nearest stairs. There wasn’t enough room in the packed staircase for Omar to hold tightly to Salty’s reigns, so he let go and the dog was completely free. Amidst the wind, smog, and darkness, Salty could have bolted again — but instead, he guided Omar down a whopping 71 flights of stairs. Salty saved Omar’s life before the building collapsed. An undercover video published Thursday by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas purports to show Nevada-based Hillary Clinton campaign staffers and volunteers ignoring and knowingly violating Nevada’s voter registration laws. Moreover, the video appears to show that this conduct is being condoned and encouraged by a local attorney who works for the Clinton campaign.
According to the video, it is a felony in the state of Nevada for anyone involved in the voter registration process to “solicit a vote for or against a particular question or candidate; speak to a voter on the subject of marking his or her ballot for or against a particular question or candidate.”
The video appears to show that numerous Hillary Clinton campaign staffers are well aware of the law. Nevertheless, the video shows them laughing at the law and repeatedly bragging about violating it by promoting Hillary Clinton verbally and with campaign literature as they attempt to register potential voters . . .
According to the video, when the attorney in question, identified as Christina Gupana, was told about this alleged lawbreaking, she advised the staffers to, “Do whatever you can. Whatever you can get away with, just do it, until you get kicked out like totally.” (Read more from “O’Keefe Strikes Again: Undercover Video Purports to Hillary Campaign Violating Law” HERE)
“Siri” tried to butt in on Thursday’s White House press briefing.
The virtual iPhone personal assistant unexpectedly interjected when a reporter was asking Press Secretary Josh Earnest about the Iran nuclear deal, and whether President Obama was “upset” he couldn’t get any Republicans on board.
A virtual voice could be heard in the room answering: “Sorry, I’m not sure what you want me to change.” (Read more from “‘Siri’ Interrupts White House Press Briefing, Answers Iran Question” HERE)
