Watch: Clinton’s Southern Strategy? Hillary Fakes Her Accent for Local Crowd

Hillary Clinton has started faking a Southern drawl to speak to Southerners, just as she did during her last presidential run eight years ago.

The tactic drew chuckles, derision and not a little resentment when she tried it in 2007 and 2008. But she was back at it again in Alabama on Saturday, putting on a heavy twang to express her contempt for Republicans.

With Bernie Sanders narrowing her lead or overtaking her in early caucus and primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, Clinton is hoping for a “Southern firewall,” and her itinerary of upcoming events reveals a determinatiion to set it ablaze quickly. She wants to win in South Carolina and then in the many Southern states holding primaries on “Super Tuesday,” where Sanders is polling much worse.

That could mean a lot more of these type of videos, capturing her speaking in a voice she did not learn during her childhood in Illinois and schooling in New England. (Read more from “Clinton’s Southern Strategy? Hillary Fakes Her Accent for Local Crowd” HERE)

Watch: American Airlines Passenger Thrown off Plane by Flight Attendant Speaks Out

Tiania Fough was boarding her connecting flight home to Oregon when she was abruptly kicked off her American Airlines (AAL) flight. During an interview with FOX Business Network’s Sandra Smith, Fough shared her side of the story.

“I start to walk on like everybody else and I’m chatting with the lady in front of me. As her and kind of four other people in front of me make their seats, there [was] one flight attendant and me… we are probably about 5 seats away from each other and he just starts yelling at me… and at that point I was just like ‘oh my gosh, what’s going on?’ and I just looked over at this guy and the flight attendant says to me, ‘I asked you three times to stay right there’ and I looked over at the guy and he goes, ‘well obviously you didn’t hear him’… There was people in front of me I had no visual sight of the man until everybody had sat down.”

The scene, captured on a cell phone from another passenger, showed Fough being scolded and suddenly being removed from the plane while crying . . .

When asked why she thought the flight attendant took issue with her she said: “there could be a lot of stuff going on in his life maybe. There was another flight attendant I guess up in the first class that I never even made contact with — I never even talked to him… He is allegedly saying that I said some profanities to him and he is trying to cover up for his buddy’s mistake of blowing up in my face and kicking me off the plane.” (Read more from “Watch: American Airlines Passenger Thrown off Plane by Flight Attendant Speaks Out” HERE)

Bernie Sanders Polling Higher, Has More Money, Bigger Crowds Than Obama During Historic ’08 Run [+video]

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is exceeding President Barack Obama’s historic 2008 presidential run in key areas, suggesting the media is underestimating the Vermont senator’s chances of defeating Hillary Clinton as they did a little-know senator from Illinois last time around.

In 2007-08, no one expected Obama to perform as well as he did against Hillary before he pulled off major upsets in state after state in the primary season . . .

Sanders is currently polling at 25.4 percent compared to Clinton’s 42 percent.

Sanders is also leading Clinton in New Hampshire, the first-in-the-nation primary state, which the former Secretary of State won in 2008 . . .

Sanders is also drawing larger crowds than Obama did. (Read more from “Bernie Sanders Polling Higher, Has More Money, Bigger Crowds Than Obama During Historic ’08 Run” HERE)

Watch: Chelsea Clinton Asked If Bill Preys on Young Girls, This Is Her Response

Conservative activist Robert Morrow attended Chelsea Clinton’s book signing in Austin, Texas Friday with camera in hand.

“Has your mother ever told you that you’re the daughter of Webb Hubbell, and not Bill Clinton,” he said while Chelsea was looking down, signing a copy of “It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going.”

The question was in reference to a long-time rumor alleging Chelsea was the result of an affair between the Clinton lawyer and Hillary . . .

Referring to Clinton’s book being geared towards kids, Morrow asked, “Would you say Bill Clinton also targets teenage girls, except for sexual reasons?”

“I would say my book is really resonating with kids,” Clinton responded. “I was at the Ann Richards School earlier today and I’m so grateful that it’s resonating to the young girls and the young boys that I’ve been talking to across the country.” (Read more from “Watch: Chelsea Clinton Asked If Bill Preys on Young Girls, This Is Her Response” HERE)

Watch: Oregon Gun Supporters Protest Obama’s Trip to Comfort Families of Shooting Victims

More than 200 pro-gun advocates protested President Obama’s visit on Oct. 9 to Roseburg, Oregon, where he privately met and comforted the families of victims of the mass shooting on Oct. 1 that took nine lives.

“By coming here, Obama is going to politicize a tragedy by saying that you have to have gun control,” protester George Starr told the Associated Press.

However, Obama had a private meeting with the families, not a public appearance, which was made clear all week in pre-advance notices.

“I’m here to tell Obama he is not welcome in our county,” Bruce Rester added. “He is exploiting the local tragedy with his gun control agenda.”

“Everybody should carry a gun,” Rester stated. “An armed society is a polite society.” (Read more from “Oregon Gun Supporters Protest Obama’s Trip to Comfort Families of Shooting Victims” HERE)

Weird Animal With ‘Body of Buffalo and Head of Crocodile’ Baffles Everyone [+video]

Images have been shared of a most unusual creature spotted in a remote village – and it’s the stuff of sci-fi movies.

The strange animal appears to have the scaly, rough head and skin of a reptile such as a crocodile.

However, on closer inspection, it’s also got the body, limbs and hooves of a mammal such as a calf . . .

The creature appears to have been born of a buffalo, but is clearly not a normal-looking creature. (Read more from “Weird Animal With ‘Body of Buffalo and Head of Crocodile’ Baffles Everyone” HERE)

Watch: He Used to Be an Abortionist; Now, He Fights to Save the Lives of the Unborn

In 1976, Dr. Anthony Levatino, an OB/GYN, graduated from medical school and was, without a doubt, pro-abortion. He strongly supported abortion “rights” and believed abortion was a decision to be made between a woman and her doctor . . .

But then everything changed. On a beautiful day in June of 1984, the family was at home enjoying time with friends when Levatino heard tires squeal. The children were in the street and [his daughter] Heather had been hit by a car . . .

After a while, Levatino had to return to work. And one day, his first D&E since the accident was on his schedule. He wasn’t really thinking about it or concerned. To him, it was going to be a routine procedure he had done many times before. Only it wasn’t.

“I started that abortion and I took that sopher clamp and I literally ripped out an arm or a leg and I just stared at it in the clamp. And I got sick,” he explained. “But you know something, when you start an abortion you can’t stop. If you don’t get all the pieces – and you literally stack them up on the side of the table […] your patient is going to come back infected, bleeding or dead. So I soldiered on and I finished that abortion” . . .

He [soon] realized that killing a baby at 20 weeks gestation was exactly the same as killing one at nine weeks gestation or even two weeks gestation. He understood that it doesn’t matter how big or small the baby is, it’s a human life. He has not done an abortion since February 1985 and says there is no chance he will ever perform one again. Watch: Vatican Sacks Gay Priest as Pope Opens Synod

Pope Francis defended marriage as “an indissoluble bond between a man and a woman” on Sunday as he opened a landmark Catholic synod on the family just hours after the Vatican fired a senior priest who came out as gay.

In a solemn mass held in St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pope set a largely merciful tone by urging religious leaders to do more to “seek out and care for” marginalised believers, but reaffirmed Catholic opposition to gay marriage.

The opening of the synod has been overshadowed by Saturday’s announcement by Polish-born priest and Vatican theologian Krzystof Charamsa that he was in a gay relationship and was prepared to become an advocate “for all sexual minorities and their families who have suffered in silence.”

“I’m out of the closet and I’m very happy about that,” said the 43-year-old priest, wearing his clerical collar and flanked by his boyfriend.

The Vatican reacted furiously, calling the Polish priest’s announcement a “serious and irresponsible” decision timed to put undue media pressure and tension on the Synod assembly. (Read more from “Watch: Vatican Sacks Gay Priest as Pope Opens Synod” HERE)

Watch: Challenged by National Review Reporter, Halperin Can’t Offer Single Policy Solution to Gun Violence

National Review reporter Charles C. W. Cooke challenged Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin to offer his solutions to gun violence in America Friday morning on Morning Joe. After he insisted lawmakers must act to prevent further mass shooting in America, agreeing with President Obama, Halperin failed to deliver a single solution.

“Well, I think that the finding solutions are short-term in terms of legislation, state and federal,” Halperin said. “Then also, coming up with ideas.”

Halperin did not, however, ever manage to come up with an idea. The co-host of With All Due Respect’s idea was to have lawmakers come up with ideas of their own.

Cooke took issue with the president’s angry words at Washington’s refusal to pass gun control laws so soon after the mass shooting at Umpqua Comminuty College in Roseburg, Oregon. The reporter claimed liberals talk tough as if they have the solutions, but they do not offer specific ideas that could begin a dialogue. Halperin was his case in point.

“Joe Biden doesn’t know how to fix this problem. I don’t know how to fix this problem. I think it’s fair to say you don’t know how to fix this problem. It’s a very complex question in a country with 300 to 350 million guns on the street,” Cooke said. “The way they talk is as if they have the answer and there are these recalcitrant forces in the country that say ‘no, no, no,’ even though deep down they know their legislation will work. That’s simply not the case. It’s far more complicated than that.” (Read more from “Challenged by National Review Reporter, Halperin Can’t Offer Single Policy Solution to Gun Violence” HERE)

Watch: In Fiery Speech, Netanyahu Challenges UN on Moral Grounds

Armed with unfiltered criticism for the United Nations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an aggressive speech to the international body’s annual gathering in New York on Thursday, charging its members with hypocrisy in their treatment of Israel and with failure to contain extremism across the wider Middle East.

With defensive rhetoric, he targeted the assembly for passing more resolutions against Israel for its handling of the Palestinians last year than against the government of Syria, which has presided over a war claiming the lives of over 300,000 people. He criticized member states for “encouraging Palestinian rejectionism” instead of direct negotiations between the parties without preconditions, one day after a Palestinian flag was raised at UN headquarters.

And yet the most poignant moment of the speech involved no remarks at all, as Netanyahu, in his seventh UN General Assembly address, asked the body if it had forgotten the lessons of the Holocaust just seventy years since its founding.

He quoted from Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, from its president and its military commanders, all reiterating a familiar pledge: Israel, a state where six million Jews reside, must be annihilated, sooner rather than later.

“Seventy years after the murder of six million Jews, Iran’s rulers promise to destroy my country, murder my people,” Netanyahu said. “And the response from this body— the response from nearly every one of the governments represented here— has been absolutely nothing. Utter silence. Deafening silence.” (Read more from “Watch: In Fiery Speech, Netanyahu Challenges UN on Moral Grounds” HERE)
