Boehner Warning About a GOP Candidate: ‘Beware of False Prophets’ [+video]

Departing Speaker of the House John Boehner (R., Ohio) offered parting words about some members of the Republican Party before he steps down: “Beware of false prophets,” including Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) . . .

Boehner, who was sharply criticized by Cruz and other more conservative congressional members for what they called a greater willingness to make deals with Democrats than fight for their principles, was asked by Face The Nation host John Dickerson whether he felt those critics were “unrealistic about what can be done in government.”

“Absolutely, they’re not realistic!” Boehner said. “But, you know, the Bible says ‘Beware of false prophets.’ And there are people out there spreading noise about how much can get done. I mean, this whole idea that we’re going to shut down the government to get rid of Obamacare in 2013. This plan never had a chance.”

Boehner famously slammed hardline Tea Party members who led an effort to defund Obamacare that ultimately caused the government shutdown in October 2013. He exclaimed, “Are you kidding me?” when he relayed that some told him they never thought that strategy would work, seeing as President Obama was not about to sign a bill defunding his own law.

“We’ve got groups here in town, members of the House and Senate here in town, who whipped people into a frenzy believing they can accomplish things they know are never going to happen,” he said. (Read more from “Boehner Warning About a GOP Candidate: ‘Beware of False Prophets'” HERE)

SEE IT: Graphic Video Appears to Show Police Shooting Death of Delaware Man in Wheelchair

A Delaware man who was paralyzed by gunfire 10 years ago was fatally shot by police Wednesday when authorities say he refused to drop his handgun — a claim his family vehemently denies.

Graphic video appearing to capture the terrifying shooting initially shows 28-year-old Jeremy McDole quietly slouched in a wheelchair in a Wilmington street before he’s approached by several armed officers.

Police say they were responding to a man who had shot himself when they found McDole “still armed with a handgun” in the street around 3 p.m., Police Chief Bobby Cummings said during a news conference Thursday.

Seconds after the first officer appears to spot McDole — calling to his fellow officers with “he’s over here!” — McDole’s heard being ordered to “show me your hands” before a single shot rings out.

McDole appears wounded when seen at a closer angle though it’s not clear where or if by the officer’s gunfire. (Read more from “SEE IT: Graphic Video Appears to Show Police Shooting Death of Delaware Man in Wheelchair” HERE)

Watch: Terrorists Comfort Crying Suicide Bomber Before Horrific Syrian Attack

syriaBefore a young terrorist blew himself up in Syria, he cried as other twisted militants comforted him about the fates of his victims, according to a disturbing propaganda video.

The jihadi, identified by reports as Jafar al-Tayyar of Uzbekistan, hugged militants before climbing into a vehicle strapped with explosives as creepy music played, according to video from Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, Nusra Front.

Before closing the top of the car, al-Tayyar looked out and sobbed, his face scrunched in fear, the video obtained by the Mirror shows.

“Jafar, my brother, don’t be afraid,” a Uzbek-speaking militant said. “When you are scared, remember Allah” . . .

After a few moments of coaching, al-Tayyar closed himself inside the vehicle and drove off before a plume of smoke explodes in the distance, the video shows. (Read more from “Watch: Terrorists Comfort Crying Suicide Bomber Before Horrific Syrian Attack” HERE)

3. July 2015: Clinton said, “When I was asked to help with the record keeping in the State Department I gave over 55,000 pages to make sure that they had everything that they needed…”

4. July 2015: The Clinton campaign even released a “Fact Sheet” (which should now be renamed) in July 2015 citing the State Department’s request as the reason Clinton’s emails were turned over:

Watch: Carly Fiorina Showing Her True Colors With What She Just Said About Ben Carson’s Muslim Comments

489472662-640x480 (1)By Breitbart News. Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina impressed many with her strong performance in the second presidential debate, as she railed passionately against Planned Parenthood and outlined her hardline views on foreign policy.

But she showed off a lighter side on Monday night during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” . . .

She denounced rival Ben Carson’s recent comments about not wanting a Muslim elected to the White House.

“Well I think that’s wrong,” said Fiorina.

“You know it says in our Constitution that religion cannot be a test for office,” she added. “It is also true that this country was founded on the principle that we judge each individual and that anyone of any faith is welcome here.” (Read more from “Watch: Carly Fiorina Showing Her True Colors With What She Just Said About Ben Carson’s Muslim Comments” HERE)

Ted Cruz Hammers Carson’s Anti-Islam Comments

By Mark Hensch. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is criticizing GOP rival Ben Carson for saying that a Muslim should not be president of the United States.

At a campaign stop in Des Moines, Iowa, on Sunday evening, Cruz said religious convictions should have no bearing on one’s fitness for the Oval Office.

“You know, the Constitution specifies there shall be no religious test for public office and I am constitutionalist,” he said, according to The Des Moines Register.

“My view, listen. The president’s faith is between him and God,” the 2016 Republican White House hopeful added of President Obama. “What I’m going to focus on is his public policy record.”

Carson sparked controversy by declaring on Sunday that Islam has no place in a potential White House administration. (Read more from this story HERE)

New Twist: Judge Napolitano Says Muslim Boy’s ‘Clock’ Was a ‘Hoax’ [+video]

obama-defended-the-kid-who-was-arrested-after-bringing-a-homemade-clock-that-looked-like-a-bomb-to-school[This week] on “The Kelly File,” Judge Andrew Napolitano reacted to allegations that Texas teenager Ahmed Mohamed did not create a clock and instead simply took apart an existing clock and transplanted the guts into a pencil box . . .

Mohamed and his family have not commented about claims that the clock is a hoax, and they are still planning on keeping thousands of dollars in donations and taking legal action against the school and the police.

Judge Napolitano said it now appears that this was a “purposeful hoax.”

He added that if the parents were involved in a hoax, then this is a fraud case, since thousands of dollars have been donated to Mohamed through a legal fund and a scholarship fund.

“If this was part of a purposeful stunt and if the parents were involved in this and if everybody from Mark Zuckerberg to President Obama fell for this, this is not good,” Judge Napolitano said. (Read more from “New Twist: Judge Napolitano Says Muslim Boy’s ‘Clock’ Was a ‘Hoax'” HERE)

Here’s the Latest Candidate to Drop out of the Run for Presidency [+video]

Republican Candidates Take Part In Debates At Reagan Library In Simi ValleyBy Eric Bradner, John King, Dana Bash and Jeff Zeleny. Scott Walker announced Monday he is dropping out of the GOP presidential race.

The Wisconsin governor entered the primary in July as a front-runner in Iowa and a darling of both the conservative base and powerful donors after winning battles against public unions in his left-leaning home state. But that promising start was quickly dashed after poor debate performances dried up support from donors.

“Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive, conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With this in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately,” Walker said at a news conference in Madison, Wisconsin.

He encouraged other trailing Republican candidates to follow his path.

“I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner,” said Walker, referencing businessman Donald Trump. “This is fundamentally important to the future of our party, and, more important, the future of the country.” (Read more from “Here’s the Latest Candidate to Drop out of the Run for Presidency” HERE)

Scott Walker’s Own Limitations Did Him In

By Byron York. It’s easy to say Scott Walker dropped out of the Republican presidential race because he ran out of money. But he ran out of money because of his own limitations as a candidate — limitations that have been in plain sight for quite a while.

Walker surprised the political world in late January when he delivered a wow-’em speech at an Iowa Republican gathering. The GOP activists there already respected Walker for his record as governor of Wisconsin, but most expected a lackluster, even boring presentation from a man who had not, up to that point, set the campaign trail on fire.

What they got was a strong and stirring speech that made a lot of Republicans in the crowd immediately rethink their assessment of Walker. If he could combine a great record with a dynamic candidacy — well, Scott Walker could be The Man.

Walker shot up in the polls. But signs of trouble quickly followed.

There had always been talk that Walker, as a Midwestern governor, wasn’t well versed, or even very versed at all, in foreign policy. That turned out to be true, and obvious to all when he cited his command of the Wisconsin National Guard as national security experience and argued that Ronald Reagan’s 1981 firing of the air traffic controllers was “the most significant foreign policy decision of my lifetime.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Watch: Iranian People Give Their Opinions on Donald Trump

Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C Groundbreaking CeremonyCNN recently asked everyday people in Tehran, Iran, their opinions on Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson (video below).

In the second GOP debate, there was plenty of bad-mouthing Iran, opposition to the nuclear treaty and threats of military action against the Middle East country.

All of the Iranians recognized Trump’s picture, and most had negative comments.

One woman didn’t like Trump’s physical features, while a second woman added, “Yes, I know. I don’t like him. He doesn’t care about the poor people.”

The second woman was shown a picture of Bush and exclaimed, “Oh my god! His father and his brother did a big mess.” (Read more from “Iranian People Give Their Opinions on Donald Trump” HERE)

Watch: Free Speech Petitioners Told They’ll Be ‘Locked up’ at College

h97.1.140_edit_0Several students at the College of DuPage were told to cease or be “locked up” Friday as they attempted to collect signatures for a petition urging the school to improve its free speech policies.

The two students, along with an advisor from Turning Point USA who was helping them organize a chapter at DuPage, were on campus inviting passersby to sign up for the club and/or sign the petition—and were also distributing pocket Constitutions and non-partisan flyers stating the “America is a free speech zone”—when they were approached by campus police.

Joseph Enders, a student at the college, told Campus Reform that he has been attempting to start a TPUSA club for some time, but has had difficulty meeting the school’s requirements for an official student organization. For its part, the College recounts instructing him on the process for starting a new club, but says it has never received the necessary documents from him.

“I’ve had some problems starting the club,” he said. “They told us that we need three members and a full-time faculty advisor, but they wouldn’t let us clipboard.” Enders also claims he has had difficulty finding a willing faculty advisor, primarily due to the need for a full-time advisor, and called the political science department “very liberal.”

Most of Friday’s altercation was caught on video and shared with Campus Reform. The video begins with the conversation already in progress, as the group is questioning the officer about why they are not allowed to do what they are doing. Watch: Trump Just Got an Endorsement From One of the Biggest (and Most Controversial) ‘Winners’

5439999805_474811d69f_b-913x512Superbowl champion Tom Brady appeared to at least informally endorse Donald Trump’s candidacy today during a press gaggle in the New England Patriots’ team locker room.

Reporters commented on the quarterback having one of the billionaire candidate’s “Make America Great Again” hats hanging in his locker. Brady said Trump had sent it to him.

Although Brady isn’t yet sure if he’s going to vote for Trump, he seemed to be pulling for him, according to CBS Sports.

Asked if Trump has what it takes to win, the football player responded: “I hope so. That would be great,” adding: “There would be a putting green on the White House lawn. I’m sure of that.”

Brady and Trump have known each other since 2002, when the Patriots quarterback served as a judge at the Miss USA pageant. The pageant is run by the Miss Universe organization, which was partially owned by Trump until he sold it earlier this week. The friendship has now lasted for over a decade, and the two used to regularly play golf before Brady’s kids were born.

In an interview last week, Brady described Trump as “a good friend” and added: “It’s been pretty amazing what he’s been able to accomplish as an entrepreneur and then, really, as a television star, and now he’s running for political office. People who can do those type of things and transition into different arenas and still have that type of appeal and carryover. He’s obviously appealing to a lot of people.” (Read more from “Trump Just Got an Endorsement From One of the Biggest (and Most Controversial) ‘Winners'” HERE)
