The pro-life movement raised the alarm during the health care debate that adopting Obamacare would lead to rationing of health care in a way that could cost patients their very lives. Then, that started to happen more and more often.

Now, one Congressional Democrat has a response to Americans who lost their health insurance under Obamacare and Republicans who are speaking out on their behalf: quit “whining.”

From the Free Beacon:

Rep. Anna Eshoo (D., Calif.) said Republicans should stop “whining” about cancelled insurance plans due to Obamacare Wednesday during a hearing to debate a proposal by Rep. Bill Cassidy (R., La.) authorizing health insurance insurers to continue offering current group health insurance coverages.

“Your plan is whining,” Eshoo said at the House Energy and Commerce Committee. “Your plan is suing the president and using taxpayer dollars. Now come on. We’re passing some good legislation out of the committee today, and this committee is too important to be taking up what the whiners did on Saturday Night Live years ago.”

Impeachment? 'All A Scam Started By Democrats at WH,' Boehner Says

“We have no plans to impeach the president; we have no future plans,” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) told a news conference on Tuesday.

“This whole talk about impeachment has come in from the president’s own staff and coming from Democrats on Capitol Hill. Why? Because they’re trying to rally their people to give money and to show up in this year’s election.

“Listen, it’s all a scam started by Democrats at the White House.”

Boehner said the same thing earlier this month, but it did not stop the talk of impeaching President Obama.

White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer told reporters last Friday that he would “not discount” the possibility that Republicans might try to impeach the president: “I think Speaker Boehner, by going down the path of this lawsuit, has opened the door to Republicans possibly considering impeachment at some in the future.” (Boehner is suing the president on the grounds that he has exceeded his constitutional authority.)

Bloomberg’s new anti-gun Organization Everytown is out with a new advertisement that inadvertently proves why women should be trained and armed before being faced with a violent attacker.

The new ad shows an unarmed woman with her child alone in her home when her violent ex-husband shows up at the door in a violent rage. She calls 911, but because when seconds count the police are minutes away, that phone call didn’t matter. The ex-husband breaks down the door, takes the kid and pulls a gun on the woman. All of this could have been prevented if the woman had a firearm in her possession as soon as she saw her ex-husband pounding on the door.

A philanthropist who’s helping hundreds of Middle Easterners stay safe, secure and stable after escaping deadly violence in their home countries recently discussed how he’s meeting their basic needs.

Canadian born musician and businessman Yank Barry, who founded Global Village Champions Foundation, a charitable organization fighting hunger, along with his friend Muhammad Ali in 1995, has been dubbed ”the Jewish Schindler,” according to the Jerusalem Post.

And when you look at what he’s doing, it’s no wonder.

Barry is currently housing 782 Christians and Middle Eastern refugees in two hotels in Bulgaria, spending $3 million to offer medical care, educational opportunities and other essential services, the Post reported.

“He saved my life,” Omid Salehi, an Iranian Christian said of Barry during a recent video interview with the outlet.

Judge Jeannie Pirro spoke with In Defense of Christians Senior Advisor, Jordan Allott, on the ever mounting dangers for Christians in Iraq and what it means for, not only the people directly affected, but what it means to us:

“Most likely they are being funded by Saudi Arabia and some of these radical groups there. But obviously their goal is a religious cleansing to get rid of all, not only Christians, but of anything, like you mentioned, having to do with Christianity. Wether it’s the churches, the crosses — and they want to make it one big Saudi Arabia and it’s not only a negative thing for the Christians there, but that’s a very bad thing for the world in general.”

Albright: 'The World Is A Mess' (+video)

“What is happening in the Middle East a lot due to the Arab Awakening and also the artificiality of the borders that were established after World War I,” Albright said. “These are huge game changers and a lot of Americans are trying to figure out where the countries are. Most Americans knew little about Islam and did not know the difference between Shia and Sunni. There are things that are going on that need understanding and explanation but to put it mildly, the world is a mess.”

A second American aid worker in Liberia has tested positive for Ebola, according to the Christian humanitarian group she works for.

Nancy Writebol is employed by Serving in Mission, or SIM, in Liberia and was helping the joint SIM/Samaritan’s Purse team that is treating Ebola patients in Monrovia, according to a Samaritan’s Purse statement.

Writebol, who serves as SIM’s personnel coordinator, has been living in Monrovia with her husband, David, according to SIM’s website. The Charlotte, North Carolina, residents have been in Liberia since August 2013, according to the blog Writebols2Liberia. They have two adult children.

On Saturday, Samaritan’s Purse announced that American doctor Kent Brantly had become infected. The 33-year-old former Indianapolis resident had been treating Ebola patients in Monrovia and started feeling ill, spokeswoman Melissa Strickland said. Once he started noticing the symptoms last week, Brantly isolated himself.

Brantly, the medical director for Samaritan Purse’s Ebola Consolidated Case Management Center in Monrovia, has been in the country since October, Strickland said.

The mystery surrounding two white flags that appeared on top of the Brooklyn Bridge today deepened as the New York City Police Department admitted they don’t know who committed the security breach or how they accomplished it.

White flags, which are symbols of surrender, flew from poles on the stone supports atop the famed bridge that connects Brooklyn and Manhattan over the East River.

“I’m not particularly happy about the event,” said NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton.

Police officials said this afternoon that they have surveillance video of a group of four or five individuals walking onto the bridge shortly after 3 a.m.

“Those people will be of particular interest in this investigation,” said NYPD Deputy Commissioner John Miller, who also oversees intelligence and counter terrorism.
