Biden Warns Iran to Not Launch Attack on Israel (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden warned the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday to not launch an attack against Israel because the U.S. was committed to the defense of Israel. . .

The president made the remarks at the National Action Network Convention in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building when asked how imminent the attack was.

“I don’t want to say,” Biden said. “I don’t want to get into secure information, but my expectation is sooner than later.”

When asked what his message to Iran was, he responded: “Don’t.”

“We are devoted to the defense of Israel. We will support Israel,” he added. “We will defend — help defend Israel. And Iran will not succeed. Thank you very much.”

Top U.S. General in Europe Issues Stark Warning About Russian Military (VIDEO)

General Christopher Cavoli, the head of U.S. European Command, warned this week that Russia’s military has grown stronger and has recovered faster from its war in Ukraine than the U.S. thought was possible.

Cavoli, who is also the supreme allied commander of Europe at the Western security alliance NATO, made the remarks Wednesday during a House Armed Services hearing on National Security Challenges in Europe.

“With the help of the United States, and invaluable help from other allies and partners, Ukraine has inflicted significant damage upon the Russian military,” he said in his opening remarks. “However, Russia relies on the mass and quantity available to a large country, and despite its military’s evident deficiencies and dysfunctions, continues to pose an existential threat to Ukraine.”

Cavoli said that Russia has increased its production of long range precision munitions and has started to buy “ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and long-range drones from third countries who were previously outside this fight.”

“In fact, it is mainly only in the land forces that Russia has suffered, losing over 2,000 tanks and 315,000 soldiers wounded or dead,” he said. “However, Russia is reconstituting that force far faster than our initial estimates suggested. The army is actually now larger – by 15 percent – than it was when it invaded Ukraine. Over the past year, Russia increased its front line troop strength from 360,000 to 470,000. Russia’s army increased the upper age limit for conscription from 27 to 30, which increases the pool of available military conscripts by 2 million for years to come.”

Speaker Mike Johnson Claims Classified Briefing Made Him Flip-Flop on Spy Powers Reform (VIDEO)

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Wednesday explained his apparent flip-flop on a controversial surveillance law, saying that he now favors limited reforms after receiving a classified briefing.

Speaker Johnson was asked by reporters why he changed his opinion on reforming Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), a controversial surveillance law that is meant to target foreign adversaries, but often surveils Americans’ communications without a warrant.

Johnson this week came out against a warrant requirement for Section 702 and moved not to allow an amendment that would have barred intelligence and law enforcement agencies from purchasing Americans’ private information through third-party data brokers. This is considered a run around the Fourth Amendment protection against warrantless searches.

This amounts to a dramatic reversal, since Johnson supported legislation to close the data broker loophole in July 2023, and the Louisiana congressman supported the USA RIGHTS act, which FreedomWorks described as one of the “strongest possible reforms” of FISA.

TV Outlet Accidentally Airs Man’s Testicles During Solar Eclipse Coverage

A Mexican news outlet is garnering ridicule online because it accidentally aired a man’s testicles when presenting viewer-submitted footage of Monday’s solar eclipse.

RCG Media’s 24/7 news program was covering the eclipse when its three anchors presented clips submitted by fans experiencing the celestial phenomenon — only to fall prey to a well-known prank in Latin America, the local La Vanguardia newspaper reported.

As the male host was listing the cities from where the eclipse could be enjoyed, the clips being presented on the left side of the screen cut to a man blocking out the sun with his testicles.

One of the two female anchors could be heard gasping in shock while her male colleague carried on, ignoring the obscene image.

The clip was quickly taken off the screen, with the male anchor explaining that the clips were submitted by viewers as he admitted that the fervor to include fans’ experiences can lead to embarrassing situations for broadcasters. Mayorkas Takes Fall for Biden Border Failures During Full Day Congressional Beatdown (VIDEO)

Lawmakers grilled Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas during Tuesday’s House and Senate hearings on the Biden administration’s failed border security policies.

Republican House and Senate Appropriations Committee members pressed Mayorkas on the White House’s lack of action to secure the border despite yearly department budget increases and Biden’s executive authority to end the border crisis.

“For over three years, we have seen skyrocketing illegal immigration at our borders. And every corner of the country can see and feel its impact,” said Republican Ohio Rep. Dave Joyce in his opening statement. “The American people know that the border is not secure; it is a full-blown crisis that this Administration has sought to downplay for years. While recently, their messaging has changed as the 2024 election nears; this budget shows those are just empty words. This request is not serious if the goal is to fix the problem and secure the border.”

“Border security operators have been clear – without quick and decisive consequences, the illegal flow will continue unabated. The daily number of migrant encounters is still well above 5,000 a day, despite every single policy this Administration has tried. The President implemented many of the policies that have contributed to this crisis with the stroke of a pen, and he could reverse them if he so chooses,” continued Joyce.

Republican Texas Rep. Michael Cloud asked Mayorkas if “Congress has removed any authority of the president to secure the border.”

Democrat Economist Who Warned Biden of Inflation in 2021 Sounds Alarm Again: ‘Markets Could Crash’ (VIDEO)

Democrat economist Larry Summers, who repeatedly warned President Joe Biden in 2021 that his reckless government spending would lead to a serious inflation crisis, warned again this week that things have not improved and inflation is running much higher than the official government numbers state.

Summers’ warning comes after Biden’s economy took a gut punch on Wednesday when a hotter-than-expected inflation report was released, showing a 3.5% increase over the last 12 months — the highest year-over-year increase since last September.

According to the latest Consumer Price Index data — which was released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics — key drivers of the higher rates include car insurance, groceries, electricity, and gas. New parents and pet owners are feeling the pinch as well, with baby food now up over 30% since 2021 and pet food up 23.7%.

The higher-than-expected inflation numbers come just a day after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen claimed that overall household finances were “quite strong” — and may put a sizable kink in any plans to begin bringing interest rates back down.

“I was not hugely surprised by the numbers,” Summers said when asked during a Bloomberg News interview on Wednesday what he thought about the latest inflation numbers. “In an economy that’s growing faster than potential, with an unemployment rate that has a three handle in the presence of massive and growing budget deficits and epically easy financial conditions, the idea that inflation would remain robust, or even accelerate, should not be a surprise to anyone.”

Tucker Carlson Shines Light on Devastation Brought on Palestinian Christians Amid Gaza Conflict

In a recent interview, Tucker Carlson brought attention to the plight of Palestinian Christians in Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Speaking with Reverend Munther Isaac, pastor at the Evangelical Lutheran Christian Church in Bethlehem, Carlson shed light on the severe impacts faced by the Christian community in the region.

During the interview, Carlson emphasized a seldom-discussed aspect of American foreign policy, noting the disproportionate suffering endured by Christians in conflict zones. He highlighted instances such as the destruction of a Greek Orthodox Church in Gaza during an October airstrike, which claimed the lives of at least 17 people. Carlson also recalled the tragic events of the 2002 siege of the Church of Nativity, where an Israeli soldier fatally shot a mentally disabled clergyman.

Reverend Isaac elaborated on the challenges faced by Palestinian Christians, describing the fragmentation of Christian communities across Gaza, Israel, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. He underscored how the harsh realities of Israeli military occupation have compelled many young Palestinian Christians to leave their homeland in search of better opportunities elsewhere.

Moreover, Isaac lamented the lack of support from American lawmakers, noting the absence of aid or solidarity from Congress, with few exceptions. He expressed disappointment in the failure of self-professed Christian leaders to advocate for their brethren in the Middle East.

Carlson criticized figures within the American Christian right who remained silent or even advocated for actions detrimental to Palestinian Christians. He called attention to statements made by Republican Michigan Representative Tim Walberg, condemning his call to eliminate U.S. aid to Gaza in a manner akin to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Isaac condemned such rhetoric, highlighting the incongruity between calls for mass violence and the teachings of Christ. He expressed concern over the damage inflicted on the credibility of Christians in the Middle East by such statements.

The interview further delved into harrowing accounts of Israeli airstrikes targeting churches and killing innocent civilians, including children. Isaac recounted the tragic loss of life, emphasizing the vulnerability of Palestinian Christians amid the conflict.

Isaac also drew attention to the persecution faced by Christians in East Jerusalem, where they are targeted by radical Jewish groups. He described incidents of vandalism, harassment, and incitement against Christians, calling for accountability for such acts.

Overall, the interview served as a stark reminder of the human cost of the Israel-Hamas conflict, particularly for vulnerable communities like Palestinian Christians

Biden: I’ll Consider Further Unilateral Action on Guns, Can’t Believe Trump Said ‘No One’s Going to Touch Your Guns’ (VIDEO)

During an interview with Univision that took place last Wednesday and aired on Tuesday, President Joe Biden stated that he would consider taking further executive action on guns and criticized 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump because Trump “famously told the NRA that, don’t worry, no one’s going to touch your guns” if Trump won.

Interviewer Enrique Acevedo asked, “[G]un violence remains the number one cause of death for children in America. Latinos have made it a top priority across the country, especially in places like El Paso and Uvalde in Texas. Your administration called on Congress to pass common-sense gun laws, but that’s unlikely to happen in the next few months. If you’re re-elected, would you consider taking further executive action on this issue?”

Pro-Life Organizations Have Mixed Reactions to Donald Trump’s Abortion Position (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump says abortion is an issue that should be left to individual states — a position accepted by some leading pro-life organizations and not others.

Trump officially announced his position on abortion Monday, ending months-long speculation about how he would handle the issue should he be elected in November. In a video posted to Truth Social, Trump said the issue of abortion is about “the will of the people” and should be left up to states to decide. The 45th president touted his role in nominating the Supreme Court justices who ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade in their Dobbs decision — ending 50 years of an invented constitutional right to abortion and sending the issue back to individual states and their elected representatives.

“My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation, or perhaps both, and whatever they decide, must be the law of the land,” Trump said.

“This is all about the will of the people. You must follow your heart or in many cases, your religion or your faith. Do what’s right for your family, and do what’s right for yourself,” he continued. “Do what’s right for your children. Do what’s right for our country, and vote — so important to vote. At the end of the day, it’s all about the will of the people.”

Trump also noted that while the issue of abortion is often a deep moral choice for many voters one way or another, Republicans must “also win elections to restore the culture.” Democrats, as well as President Joe Biden’s campaign, have been heavily banking on driving voter turnout around the topic of abortion, using the issue to paint Republicans as “extreme” and a threat to women.
