Video: Newt Says ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Is A Political Invention

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, tell me, why are you telling House Republicans to, quote, “get a grip”?

GINGRICH: Well, I think this whole fiscal cliff language is designed to maximize a sense of fear that’s nonsense. The very same people, the Congress and the president, who invented the fiscal cliff — this is all an invention — could break it down into 12 foothills, or 15 foothills or 20 foothills. They could tackle one problem at [a] time.

I agree with what I understand Senator Jeff Sessions has said — and I think he’ll be on your show later — this ought to be out in the open. We’re rushing towards a secret deal made in secret meetings where nobody will know what’s going on, and then people will be told, Boy, if you don’t vote for this, we’ll go over the cliff.

Well, I think there are a lot worse things than going over a man-made cliff that I think is entirely artificial. And I think the reality is, the President of the United States has not come forward with any serious spending cuts. What the Democrats are proposing is to take the tax increase now, and then sometime next year, eventually, possibly, we might have some kind of entitlement reform. That’s a really bad deal for the American people.

Video: Sibling Rivalry In The Womb?

Researchers at London’s Center for Fetal Care came up with some interesting footage, while conducting an MRI on a patient pregnant with twins.

Caught on tape, the siblings appear to be competing for space in the womb.

Proof positive that some afflictions we are just born with.

Video: The Real Danger Is Not Going Over The ‘Fiscal Cliff’

In an interview with CNBC earlier this week, economist Peter Schiff suggested that the time for austerity is now. The real danger, he says, is not going over the ‘fiscal cliff.’

In his view, continuing down the road we’re on will only make matters worse, and eventually Asia will stop loaning money to a dead-beat customer who can’t pay back its loans.

There’s just nothing like the spirit of Thanksgiving!

In the video below, New York Jets fans seem a little out of sorts. It might have had something to do with the fact that they got run by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving Day.

All I can say is, there’s just nothing like a home field advantage!

Check it out for yourself. You won’t know whether to laugh or cry.

If I’m a Jet, I’m counting down the days ’til the next road game. Just sayin’!

Video: Shock-Jock Glenn Beck Puts Obama’s Image in … Pee Pee

On Monday, TheBlaze alerted readers to a new painting that depicts Barack Obama as Jesus Christ crucified, adorned with a crown of thorns. The work, entitled “Truth,” is part of a larger exhibit at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery in Boston titled “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” This, of course, is not the first controversial rendition that has been labeled “artwork,” nor is it the first time President Obama has been likened to Christ, or in general, God.

Now, the creator of “Truth,” Michael D’Antuono, said that his “First Amendment rights should override someone’s hurt feelings” and that “we should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.”

After receiving roughly 4,000 angry emails over the painting, D’Antuono also said he respects “their right to express themselves” and hopes they will afford him the same.

With this in mind, Glenn Beck chose to “express himself,” during his Tuesday evening broadcast by featuring a piece of artwork of his own creation.

Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn recently authored a book entitled ‘The Debt Bomb,’ and is known as a fiscal hawk in the United States Senate. He also releases an annual report on government waste, this year outlining $68 Billion in wasteful spending that could be cut from the Defense Department’s budget.

In an appearance on The Blaze TV, Coburn talked about Congresses spending problem, stating that it is ‘usurping the power of the States’ . . . and ‘undermining . . . liberty of the people of this country.’

His conclusion? ‘The whole government’s out of control.’

Video: Bill Wittle’s Winning Conservative Message

In the following video, Bill Wittle addresses Conservative impotence and our inability to win elections. He says, simply, that we don’t talk like we even believe in our own principles.

Romney, he says, sounded like he was always on the defensive. Rather than directly confronting media bias and lies with the truth, he submitted to the dominant narrative and essentially apologized for who he was and what he professed to believe.

Finally, Wittle offers examples of how a conservative (who want to win an election) should answer his/her critics (the media).

Video: Steven Crowder Talks Weed

In this video, Steve Crowder doesn’t take a position on the federal government’s unconstitutional enforcement of drug laws within the states. However, he hammers the suggestion – oft heard in some libertarian circles – that there’s nothing harmful about marijuana.

Crowder interviews a number of you children – many of whom smoked marijuana in their preteen years – and tries to get to the bottom of youth attitudes on marijuana.

He also interviews a psychiatrist, college professor, and others who have opinions on the topic.

If you have any questions about the risks of – or modern attitudes toward – drugs, you should take your time to watch this informative, humorous, trademark Crowder video:

Video: Barack Hussein Obama, “Our Lord and Savior”

Appearing on Sunday night’s Soul Train awards in Las Vegas, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx called Barack Obama “our lord and savior.”

“It’s like church over here. It’s like church in here. First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama,” he said.

Since the 2008 election, several have attempted to deify Barack Obama.

ABC’s Jake Tapper noticed the messianic tone of Obama’s first presidential campaign and wrote: “It’s as if Tom Daschle descended from on high saying, ‘Be not afraid; for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people: for there is born to you this day in the city of Chicago a Savior, who is Barack the Democrat.'”

In November 2010, Newsweek declared him “god of all things” on its cover, and first lady Michele Obama once declared of her husband: “This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light.” Read more from this story HERE.

Video: Teacher Writes, ‘You can’t be a Democrat and go to Heaven’; Parents Furious

A Kentucky high school teacher was reprimanded by her district this week for writing a politically charged statement on the class whiteboard. South Laurel County High School teacher Kendra Baker wrote, ‘You can’t be a democrat and go to heaven’ during a classroom discussion about politics after the elections.

The comment was reportedly made by a student, but Baker apparently agreed with it enough to put it on the board for everyone to see. One student in attendance took a picture of it and gave it to the Board of Education as well as the Sentinel-Echo.

After some investigation, the Board determined Baker had violated district policy No. 8.1353 which states that teachers must create an atmosphere in the classroom that’s conducive to learning, mutual respect, and trust. The code also specifies that teachers are responsible for developing positive self-concepts and self-confidence so that students respect the worth and dignity of others.

The school reprimanded Baker by requiring she apologize to her students. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in one student leaving the school. Lexington’s NBC TV affiliate reported Monday that Chelsea Gilbert was ridiculed when she tried to stick up for others in her class.

Her mother told Lex 18, “You don’t send them to school to have someone else’s opinion shoved down their throat and demand they agree with it. It’s appalling. It’s wrong.” Gilbert will now be home-schooled as a result. Read more from this story HERE.
