Hitler Survivor Condemns Gun Control, Says ‘Keep Your Guns and Buy More!’

Kitty Werthmann was born in Austria, and lived there for seven years under Hitler’s brutal regime, and after World War II, she also lived three years under Soviet communist occupation. Needless to say, Mrs. Werthmann is someone who has an acute awareness of how media distorts things and tyranny comes to power. Mrs. Werthmann, not only says that the media was wrong about how Hitler came to power, but she says that “In the beginning, Hitler didn’t look like, or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician.”

She says that the story of Hitler overthrowing governments and people in order to come to power just simply isn’t true, but rather the Austrian people elected Hitler with 98% of the vote at the ballot box. Mrs. Werthmann then goes on to say that the Austrian people had guns, but the government began to say that they were dangerous, so they began to implement gun registration. Then she said this was followed by turning in their weapons to the police station in order to cut down on crime, and if citizens didn’t… there would be capital punishment.

Mrs. Werthmann says that the dictatorship, “didn’t happen over night, but it took 5 years, gradually, little by little, to escalate to a dictatorship.”

She then goes on to say that, “When the people fear the government, that’s tyranny, but when the government fears the people, that’s liberty.”

As a Nazi survivor, what is her advice to us… “Keep your guns, keep your guns and buy more guns.”

Obama’s Energy Nominee: We Need Carbon Tax To Double Or Triple Energy Cost (+video)

President Obama’s Energy secretary nominee regards a carbon tax as one of the simplest ways to move the energy industry towards clean technologies, though he notes that government would have to come up with a plan to mitigate the burden this tax places on poor people, who would pay the most…

“Ultimately, it has to be cheaper to capture and store it than to release it and pay a price,” MIT professor and Energy nominee Ernest Moniz told the Switch Energy Project in an interview last year. “If we start really squeezing down on carbon dioxide over the next few decades, well, that could double; it could eventually triple. I think inevitably if we squeeze down on carbon, we squeeze up on the cost, it brings along with it a push toward efficiency; it brings along with it a push towards clean technologies in a conventional pollution sense; it brings along with it a push towards security. Because after all, the security issues revolve around carbon bearing fuels.”

Moniz position is not far from that of Energy Secretary Steven Chu before he took a job in the Obama administration. “We have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,” Chu said in 2008. Last year, gas hit $9 a gallon in Greece.

Toddler Shot In The Face, Mother’s Second Child Lost To Violence (+video)

The fatal shooting of a 13-month-old boy in his stroller marked the second time mother Sherry West lost a son to violence, she said Saturday.

Her 18-year-old son was stabbed to death in 2008 in New Jersey, she told CNN. “This is the second child that people have taken from me in a tragic way,” West said. “I’m so afraid to have any more babies now. I tried to raise really good kids in a wicked world.”

The day after two teenage boys were arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of her baby, West said she was planning to leave Brunswick and return to New Jersey. The boy’s father has also been emotionally distraught, West said. Asked about the person who shot her son, Antonio, West stated: “I hate you and I don’t forgive you.

“You killed an innocent human life,” she said. “I hope you die for it.” A private memorial service was held Friday morning for young Antonio Santiago, who was cremated, according to West. She said the family is working with the Catholic relief organization Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help with unforeseen expenses.

West put Antonio in a stroller Thursday because it was good exercise for her heart, said West, who added she was disabled from a past car accident.

Karl Rove Wistfully Speculates that GOP’s Presidential Nominee Could Be Pro-Gay Marriage In 2016 (+video)

Republican strategist Karl Rove told an ABC News panel that he “could imagine” that come 2016, the Republican nominee for president could openly endorse gay marriage. Rove made the comments in the context of a discussion about the upcoming Supreme Court cases surrounding gay marriage, which will be decided this week.

George Stephanopoulos asked Rove, “Can you imagine the next presidential campaign, a Republican candidate saying flat out, ‘I am for gay marriage?’”

Rove responded this way:

“I could, but you know what? Let’s stay here for a moment. One of the interesting things to me is gonna be, you’ve talked about Justice Roberts and Justice Kennedy. I’m interested in Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.”

Please, Democrats: Go Ahead and Embrace Obamacare (+video)

ObamaCare

The problem with Obamacare is not that it is being badly presented; the problem is that there is a limit to how well you can present a law that is this bad.

It’s like trying to put a positive spin on having your leg bitten off by a shark: sure, yes, in the long run you’re going to see a 50% saving on socks, but that’s not exactly comforting news while you’re watching the water around you go pink…

Rand Paul: Obama Could Have Been Jailed Under Today’s Drug Laws (+video)

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said punishments for marijuana-related crimes should be reduced, citing President Barack Obama’s reported drug use as a reason to look past certain minor indiscretions…

“The main thing I’ve said is not to legalize them, but not to incarcerate people for extended periods of times,” Paul said. “I’m working with Sen. [Patrick] Leahy — we have a bill on mandatory minimums. There are people in jail for 37, 50, 45 years for nonviolent crimes. That is a huge mistake. Our prisons are full of nonviolent criminals.”

Paul admitted legalization would encourage marijuana use, which he said has negative effects.

MSNBC Commentator Ridicules Personhood, Repeatedly Refers to the “Thing” that “Might Turn into a Human” (+video)

In the wake of North Dakota’s newly passed bill that may ban virtually all abortions in that state, MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry shamelessly defends abortion rights, pointing out that children can cost up to $20,000 a year to raise.

She also ridicules the concept that a fertilized egg could “constitute a person.”

The activist repeatedly refers to “this thing” that “might turn into a human”.

Ms. Harris-Perry even enrolls science into the cause, suggesting that personhood is “a faith claim, not associated with science.”

News flash to Ms. Harris-Perry: You used to be that “thing” that did “turn into a human.” Aren’t you glad your mother didn’t consider the cost of raising you and remove that “thing” that was growing inside her?

The ‘Uncle Tom-ing’ Of Ben Carson Begins (+video)

MSNBC host and commentator Touré fired a clear and distinct shot at Dr. Ben Carson Friday, hammering the African-American Presidential Medal of Freedom winner for daring to challenge the Obamadoxy parroted by Touré and progressive journalists bent on supporting the President’s policies at all costs.

Dr. Ben Carson splashed onto the national stage with his blistering criticism of ObamaCare last month at the National Prayer breakfast, with President Obama seated just a few feet away. Carson is a heroic surgeon, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery, who performed groundbreaking medical miracles at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a brilliant and passionate advocate for free market principals, individual responsibility, and the freedoms and liberty embodied in resistance to bloated big government programs like ObamaCare. He also happens to be black. Therefore, he must be stopped, now.

Like Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice, Colin Powell (until he got the message) and Herman Cain before him, Carson will now be the target of the most vile and reprehensible kinds of criticism from black progressives like Touré and his colleague Al Sharpton. A black man who doesn’t blindly support the president and the big government programs that has created a dependency on government that has crippled America’s underclass is susceptible to name calling that, otherwise, would not be tolerated in American political discourse.
