Former President Donald Trump entered the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday night to a roaring crowd, meeting with numerous celebrities and even a victorious fighter at UFC 290.
UFC President Dana White accompanied Trump to his seat, high-fiving supporters before the main event. South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis was also recorded greeting the former president after he defeated Robert Whittaker in round 2.
Throughout the night, Trump was photographed with podcast host Joe Rogan, director Mel Gibson, and even celebrity chef Guy Fieri, host of Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” Podcast host Benny Johnson captioned a photo of the former president with Fieri, “Trump in Flavor Town,” referring to the celebrity chef’s nickname, the “Mayor of Flavortown.”
UFC 290 is the headline event of International Fight Week, which began on July 3 and ends Sunday. Trump and White are known to be friends, with White speaking at the Republican National Convention in 2016 and 2020 to support Trump. The former president is a frequent spectator at UFC events, attending UFC 287 in April and inspiring a “USA!” chant. President Joe Biden said in an interview broadcast on Sunday that he believes that Ukraine is not ready to become a member of NATO and that the country first needs to focus on ending the war with Russia.
The remarks were made during a discussion with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria as Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to push for becoming a member state.
“I don’t think it’s ready for membership in NATO,” Biden said, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin believed he could “break NATO” with his invasion of Ukraine.
“I don’t think there is unanimity in NATO about whether or not to bring Ukraine into the NATO family, now, at this moment, in the middle of a war,” Biden continued, noting that joining NATO would force all other member countries to defend all of Ukraine while it’s already in a war.
“If the war is going on, then we’re all in war,” Biden said. “You know, we’re at war with Russia, if that were the case. So I think we have to lay out a path, for the rational path for Russia, for, excuse me, for Ukraine to be able to qualify to get into NATO.”

The White House claimed on Wednesday that President Joe Biden still plans to visit East Palestine, Ohio, five months after the Norfolk Southern train derailment disaster.
But White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to share a date when a reporter raised a question about a visit, noting that Biden has “done a lot of travel in recent weeks and months” to other places.
“So, I’m just going to repeat what the president said,” Jean-Pierre said. “He will travel to the area, to East Palestine. Just don’t have anything to share on travel or upcoming dates that he’ll be there. But the president said it, he’s going to go. So he will go. Once we have a date, we’ll certainly share that.”

A Norfolk Southern freight train derailed on February 3 while passing through the small town of East Palestine, a village near Ohio’s border with Pennsylvania. Locals soon began to raise concerns about health and environmental threats posed by a controlled burn of toxic chemicals at the crash site meant to deter a large explosion. During a speech today to the National Education Association, President Joe Biden forgot the name of his own website. In an attempt to tell people to find out whether or not they are eligible for his program that was recently struck down by the Supreme Court, Biden stopped mid-sentence.
He leaned forward, unable to think of the name of the site. He can be quoted as saying, “and by the way, the program is still there. Go to – anyway, you ought to contact us so you know exactly how to qualify, because you deserve that part.” . . .
Biden then rambled about pornographic books in American schools. He can be quoted “and one more thing, lets stand with teachers and educators against politicians who are trying to score political points by banning books. Did y’all ever think you’d be in a situatuon in the United States of America, talk about banning books? And the people deciding who to, what books to ban? Come on!” . . .
Biden obviously struggled to remember quite a bit of information during this speech. He continues to undergo perhaps the most public mental deterioration that the world has ever known. More concerning is the fact that everybody around Biden, most vehemently his political allies, pretend that none of it is happening. Rep. Eric Burlison’s (R-MO) affinity for flamethrowing resurfaced for the Fourth of July after the Missouri Republican and vocal Second Amendment advocate first made an impression during his campaign last year for using the fire-breathing device.
Burlison shared the new video to his social media, which showed the lawmaker rolling into the scene on a four-wheeler, praising American independence, shooting an AR-15, and torching a hotdog with the flamethrower.
“Shoot some fireworks, or something else. Enjoy some great outdoor food, but most importantly be unapologetically proud of the greatest, freest nation on earth,” Burlison says in the clip.

In the final days of Pride Month, the United States Army highlighted the story of a “transgender female” officer whose life was allegedly saved after “coming out.” Meanwhile, the military is battling the worst recruiting crisis since the beginning of the all-volunteer service in 1973.
The Army featured an article titled “Living Authentically Saves Soldier’s Life,” which featured the “coming out” story of Major Rachel Jones, an Army Sustainment Command Cyber Division chief.
According to the article, Jones “lived every day deeply depressed and suicidal” before publicly coming out as a transgender woman. . .
Stephanie Allers, a program specialist and suicide prevention liaison for the Army, claimed that depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicidal ideation risks are twice as high for veterans and active-duty soldiers who identify as LGBT+ but “have concealed their true selves,” the Army’s article stated.
“One reason for this is the chronic, toxic stress experienced by those who need or opt to hide their true self and those who have experienced loss of support or interpersonal and professional relationships because of their identity or sexual orientation,” Allers said. Joe Rogan and legendary hip hop artist Ice Cube recently made a podcast together where the pair talked about a lot of socio-political issues. There were many conversations, for instance, about transgender people entering women’s sports for competition. Rogan was strictly against it and mentioned that men can’t just pretend to be women and physically compete against women. According to Rogan, it’s actually a violation of women’s rights.
He said: “Maybe they could develop a transgender league. Where trans people play against trans people. That would be great, but you can’t pretend you’re a biological female just because you wish you are. You don’t want men dominating that, because that’s what it is. It’s men entering to women spaces. They identity you’re a woman that’s great but you physically, you’re a biological male and you wanna compete against them? Get the f*** out of here.” on his podcast.
Ice Cube was definitely on the same page as Rogan and mentioned that it’s getting bizarre with time. “It’s tricky man, it’s like a slippery slope. That really starts to get bizzare after a while, You know, cause where does it actually end?” According to Cube, someone in the future can come and say he/she identifies as some other race, which will be crazy.
As the discussion continued, Joe Rogan and Ice Cube talked about how nowadays everybody on social media is trying to fight a battle of morality and going to extremes to prove the point. Cube explained that people like to push the boundaries of various sensitive issues, and in reply, Rogan mentioned the ban on pedophile words. With the cameras still rolling, Biden got out of his chair, shook hands with host Nicolle Wallace and awkwardly walked away after she thanked the 80-year-old president for granting her a rare interview.
“Don’t go anywhere,” the MSNBC host told viewers as Biden made his exit, walking directly behind her.
It is unusual for guests to leave the set of cable news shows before the host tosses the program to a commercial break.
The clip of Biden walking off, apparently oblivious that the program was live, quickly went viral.
