Dems Dealt Yet Another Blow as Congressman Jumps Ship, the Third to Switch to GOP in a Month

Democrats were dealt another blow from within their own ranks this week as yet another state lawmaker declared he was leaving the party.

According to a Monday report by The Advocate, a Louisiana-based newspaper, state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe announced he had left the Democratic Party and would be registering as a Republican.

It was not immediately clear what prompted LaCombe’s departure, however he is now the second Louisiana Democrat in less than a month to switch party affiliations, and the third nationwide after another state lawmaker in North Carolina did the same.

Last month, Louisiana state Rep. Francis Thompson gave Republicans in the state House a supermajority after he switched his party affiliation, and earlier this month, North Carolina state Rep. Tricia Cotham gave Republicans in the state House a supermajority with her switch as well. Trump Delivers Blistering Easter Message While Melania Breaks Silence After Arrest

Melania Trump on Sunday broke her silence for the first time since her husband’s indictment and arrest, while hubby Donald delivered a blistering message to critics.

“Happy Easter!” the former first lady tweeted above a photo of a pink rose, the first time she has posted something online since the Manhattan criminal firestorm engulfing her husband took off. . .

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the former president wrote in a snarky all-caps message posted on his Truth Social site, “Happy Easter to All” — including “weak & pathetic RINOS [Republicans in Name Only]” and “radical left Democrats, socialists Marxists, & communists” and others who oppose stricter border security and voting laws.

Trump last week pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to alleged hush-money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels, as well as a “catch and kill” reporting scheme involving the National Enquirer and another purported Trump mistress, Karen McDougal, in a case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The unprecedented indictment comes as Trump, 76, is attempting to regain the White House for a third time, running for the 2024 Republican nomination. It follows a five-year investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office into Trump and his business dealings — a probe that Republicans have blasted as a politically motivated crusade. By New York Post. A lone gunman stormed a bank in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday morning, killing four people and injuring eight others before dying in a confrontation with police.

Officials later identified the suspect as Connor Sturgeon, 23.

Sturgeon worked as a summer intern for the bank for three consecutive years, eventually joining as a commercial development professional in 2021 and a full-time associate and portfolio banker last year, according to his LinkedIn account. . .

Sturgeon had been told he was going to be fired from the bank, according to CNN, who also reported he had left a note for his parents and a friend saying he was going to shoot up the bank. . .

Louisville Shooter Connor Sturgeon’s Pronouns Spark Outrage

By Newsweek. The use of pronouns on LinkedIn by the suspected Louisville, Kentucky, shooter has drawn outrage on social media. . .

Police said the shooter was fatally shot by responding officers. Before his identification by police, social media users shared screenshots of a LinkedIn profile associated with Sturgeon that showed the use of the pronouns he/him, which has brought some criticism online.

Sebastian Gorka, a conservative commentator and ex-adviser to former President Donald Trump, wrote on Twitter that Sturgeon was “proudly displaying his “pronouns” online” and called this a “#RedFlag.”

The outlet also reported Sturgeon appeared to operate two since-removed Twitter accounts where he posted about sports, along with support for the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 and criticism of then-President Donald Trump.

An essay in Sturgeon’s name on his “Personal Code of Ethics” was uploaded to CourseHero in 2018, where he outlined self-esteem issues that he said gave him “a somewhat negative self-image,” though he indicated it was improving. Louisville Shooter Connor Sturgeon Was Star Athlete but Suffered ‘Multiple Concussions’

By New York Post. The man suspected of killing four and injuring nine at the Old National Bank in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, was a star athlete in high school who allegedly suffered so many concussions he wore a helmet at basketball games. . .

Back when he was a freshman at the Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Sturgeon was an all-round athlete, playing basketball, football and running track.

As his father was the head coach of the team, a former classmate told The Daily Beast Sturgeon was known as “Mr. Floyd Central.”

However, the classmate, who asked to remain anonymous, noted Sturgeon oddly wore a helmet while playing basketball due to multiple concussions he suffered while playing football. . .

As if a viral video-tweet of Kid Rock shooting up cases of Bud Light wasn’t enough of a PR disaster for Anheuser-Busch, country music star Travis Tritt announced Wednesday that he is banning all A-B products from his tour to protest against the “woke” brewing corporation’s hiring of a “trans” fake “girly-girl” as a spokesman.

The femmy pretend-woman who has generated a gigantic backlash against A-B is Dylan Mulvaney, a 26-year-old biological man who has lived one year as a faux “woman” and whose antics on TikTok (10.8 million followers) range from co-opting children’s book characters (he plays a six-year-old girl on one video while shilling for a famous hotel) to advocating for “trans health” coverage as he dishes on his “facial feminization surgeries” designed to rework his naturally male features to look more feminine.

What the Devil? New Disney Show Focuses on Teen-Girl Sex With Satan

Disney has moved deeply and quickly to change its products, which for decades were entertainment for children, to indoctrination in the LGBT ideology.

It has built new story lines around LGBT characters, has openly battled with Florida over the state’s plan to protect young children in school from inappropriate sex instructions, has even put warning labels on some older projects to advise that they do not any longer meet the requirements of the company for being politically correct.

Now it’s taking an even bigger step: It’s new programming on Disney+ will feature a teen who falls in love with the devil. . .

The report explains the new show is “Pauline” and the main character, 18, “becomes pregnant – from a one-night stand” with “Lukas” the devil.

“With school stress, the climate crisis and the downfall of society weighing heavily on her mind, something she doesn’t need at all right now is catching feelings, especially not for her one-night stand Lukas, who, as it turns out, is the devil himself,” the report explained. What Are They Hiding? FBI Redactions Mask Las Vegas Shooting Information

The FBI recently released more records related to the nation’s deadliest mass shooting.

But the documents were so heavily redacted they don’t improve the public’s understanding of what might have motivated Stephen Paddock to kill 60 people, injure hundreds more in Las Vegas and take his own life on Oct. 1, 2017, government transparency experts said. . .

Among the heavily redacted records were summaries of handwritten letters sent to Paddock and found in Texas. But Las Vegas police on Thursday released the letters to the Review-Journal without redactions. The letters suggest that Paddock had discussed his plans with an ex-convict who wrote the notes, imploring him not to “shoot or kill innocent people.” . . .

In September, FBI officials released 314 pages of records detailing interviews and evidence they gathered during their investigation. They released about 300 additional pages in February.

Arms Dealer Viktor Bout Urges Trump to Seek Refuge in Russia as His Life Is ‘in Peril’

Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, freed from a U.S. jail last year, on Friday urged U.S. ex-president Donald Trump to seek refuge in Russia as his life was “in peril.”

Bout, also known as the “Merchant of Death,” was swapped for U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner in a high-profile prisoner exchange between Moscow and Washington in December.

“I believe your life is in peril,” Bout wrote in a telegram sent to Trump and shown to the press in Moscow.

“The Biden administration will not stop just by dragging you through the court/prison industrial complex,” he said, referring to Trump’s successor Joe Biden.

“They would sooner end your life than let you stand in their way.”

A moose in Soldotna, Alaska, followed a woman’s dog back into her house where a police officer tried to use a taser to scare it off.

Barbara Nickels always cracks the door open when she lets out her dog, Jesse, Alaska’s News Source reported Wednesday. However, when Jesse returned this time, he brought home a wild Alaskan moose. Described as “huge” and without a “care in the world,” the moose apparently made a beeline for Barbara’s salad bar plants.

Barbara told Alaska’s News Source that she “stared at it for three or four seconds before it really dawned” on her that there was a moose inside her home. Her husband “thought he was dreaming” when he saw the animal.

When police arrived on the scene, the moose was still munching on the plants. Not even the sound of a taser could fend him off, and it was not until one policeman raised his voice that the moose was startled into leaving, according to the report. Moose Invades Providence Hospital

By Associated Press. A young moose trudging through the snow looking for a meal spotted green plants in the lobby of a medical building in the Providence Alaska Health Park and decided to drop in for a dose of greenery.

The ingenious — or lucky — moose triggered the sensors on the automatic doors to the building that houses the hospital’s cancer center and other medical offices, said Randy Hughes, the hospital’s director of security.

“We received a call from one of our tenants advising that a moose had just walked into the building,” Hughes said.

Hughes believes it’s the same moose that has been hanging around campus. And even though moose are commonplace in Alaska, they made an announcement over the intercom of the moose’s presence out of safety concerns. (Read more from this story HERE)

Alaskan Children’s Book Illustrator Charged With ‘Terroristic Threatening’ for Suggesting Trans People May Kill Children

A children’s book illustrator has been charged with terroristic threatening for leaving notes around Juneau, Alaska, suggesting that transgender people will commit violence.

The notes were left in apparent connection to the recent killing of 6 individuals at a Christian school in Nashville, including 3 children, by a transgender.

Mitchell Thomas Watley, 47, has been put under arrest under one charge of terroristic threatening, which is a Class C felony. A Class C felony can result in up to 5 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines. Watley is being held in the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

The Juneau Police Department received a report on March 31 about a note “that indicated a possible general threat against children.” Later that same day, the police received a second report about a similar note. On April 2, two more notes were reportedly left at local businesses. Police were able to identify and arrest Watley that same day. The arrest was made with assistance from the FBI.

“Feeling Cute Might Shoot Some Children,” one note read, with a picture of a rifle and a transgender pride flag, according to a criminal complaint accessed by the Juneau Empire. A Children’s Book Illustrator Has Been Arrested in Alaska over Anti-Transgender Notes

By Yahoo News. . .On Friday, which was Transgender Day of Visibility, the Juneau Police Department received an early morning report about a note found in a local store that “indicated a possible general threat against children,” according to a statement issued by the department. Several hours later, police received a second report about a similar note found on a bulletin board in the State Office Building. . .

According to court documents, Watley referenced the Nashville school shooting suspect after his arrest.

“Officers spoke to Mitchell, who said (in essence) that he was in fear of the recent transgender school shooter and took it upon himself to print out and distribute these leaflets,” the criminal complaint said. . .

Watley is best known for his illustrations in the children’s books “I Would Tuck You In” and “You Are Home With Me,” which feature animals snuggling their children.
