By The Independent. . .Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of assassinated presidential candidate Robert Kenedy and nephew of John F Kennedy, has filed to run for president in 2024 as a Democrat.

Mr Kennedy, 69, filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission after announcing last month he was considering a run against Joe Biden, according to RawStory.

His late father was a former New York senator, US attorney general and 1968 presidential candidate, who was shot and killed by Sirhan Sirhan in Los Angeles in June 1968. . .

Mr Kennedy Jr, who leveraged his ties to the political family dynasty to lend his anti-vaccine campaign credibility and to draw fundraisers, recently published The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, in which he accuses the nation’s medical chief of launching “a historic coup d’etat against Western democracy”. Kennedy Jr. is a longtime vaccine skeptic. He has promoted discredited claims linking vaccines and autism and founded the anti-vaccine organization Children’s Health Defense. He has also railed against the coronavirus vaccine and has criticized the federal government’s handling of the pandemic. . .

Kennedy had tweeted last month that he was considering a presidential run.

You Won’t Believe the Most Outrageous Claim in the Trump Indictment

The Donald Trump indictment is our Late Roman Republic cirque du jour, and until now I’ve recused myself from writing about it. I had to wait for that one tiny detail to emerge, that one giant tell, so absurd that it required the special attention of the man who invented drunkblogging. . .

To see that absurdity in all its slimy glory, we must venture now to the pages of POLITICO, the semi-official mouthpiece of all goodthinking Outer Party swamp-dwellers.

“The statement of facts [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg filed along with the indictment makes a surprising claim,” and when Gerstein describes it as “surprising,” what I took away from it was “gob-smackingly stupid.” The problem, you see, is “that Trump and his associates engaged in deception by paying New York state more in taxes than it was owed.”

Trump cheated on his taxes by paying too much in taxes? What was he supposed to be distracting us from — that Orange Man Bad because Orange Man Bad? . . .

Mulvaney, a man who identifies as a woman, has acquired millions of followers on TikTok over the past several months. He garnered controversy over the past weekend when he posted a video advertising for Bud Light’s March Madness contest. Bud Light confirmed that it has a brand partnership with Mulvaney on Tuesday, claiming it is part of an effort to “authentically connect” with customers. . .

Mulvaney, a former actor who held roles in various Broadway musicals, has been especially criticized for his marketing deals with companies such as makeup brand Ulta Beauty and fashion house Kate Spade, both of which prompted accusations that he was insulting women and provoked ire among the companies’ consumer bases. . .

ChatGPT Will Make Fun of Jesus but Not Muhammad

ChatGPT, the revolutionary new machine learning product developed by OpenAI, made jokes about Jesus Christ when prompted but not the prophet Muhammad.

When asked to make a joke about Jesus, the technology said, “Why did Jesus refuse to play hockey? Because every time he tried to score, they nailed him to the boards!”

But when asked to make a joke about the Prophet Muhammad, it said, “it is not appropriate for me to tell jokes about religious figures, including the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as it could be considered disrespectful and offensive to many people.”

The language model, which was trained on Microsoft’s Azure network and is the benefit of a multi-billion dollar investment from the company, has come under fire for a number of seemingly biased answers it provides.

ChatGPT is a developed by OpenAI, which was created using deep learning algorithms. It employs a form of artificial intelligence that allows it to learn from data sets that OpenAI trains it on, as well as its ability to learn through interactions with its millions of daily users. Biden Administration ‘Facilitating’ Trafficking of Child Refugees, Grand Jury Charges

A Florida grand jury accused the Biden administration of “facilitating” the trafficking of child refugees after a five-month investigation conducted at the request of Governor Ron DeSantis.

The panel issued a scathing report, denounced the Biden administration and, in particular, the Homeland Security Department and Department of Health and Human Service’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It disputed ORR’s claim that child refugees are being cared for and reunited with their families.

“In reality, ORR is facilitating the forced migration, sale, and abuse of foreign children, and some of our fellow Florida residents are (in some cases unwittingly) funding and incentivizing it for primarily economic reasons,” the report stated. “If any resident of Florida exposed U.S.-born children to this process, they would be justifiably arrested for child neglect or worse.”

Through the White House’s policies, the two federal agencies are effectively encouraging unaccompanied children from South and Central America to make the dangerous trip to the U.S. border, the grand jury found. Once at the border, many of the children are abandoned to unvetted adults, the report found. Acting New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan will preside over the hush money prosecution of former President Donald Trump despite his history of rulings against the businessman-turned-politician’s associates. . .

Trump contended last week that Merchan was “hand picked” by Bragg to preside over the case and said that Merchan “hates” him in a post to his social media platform Truth Social. Another all-caps post to Truth Social on Tuesday morning asserted that Merchan is “highly partisan” and contended that his family is composed of “well known Trump haters.”

Merchan, a Colombian-born immigrant who moved to the United States as a 6-year-old, earned a law degree from Hofstra University in 1994, according to a report from the Associated Press. He served in the state attorney general’s office before his 2006 appointment by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a family court judge. Merchan has worked as an acting justice on the New York Supreme Court since 2009.

Merchan ruled against the Trump Organization earlier this year, finding the real estate conglomerate guilty of 17 charges related to a years-long tax evasion scheme under which the firm distributed various gifts and perks to executives. By The Blaze. BlazeTV personality Alex Stein was assaulted at a Transgender Day of Visibility event in New York City on Friday. The New York Police Department failed to take action against those who assailed, spit on, and doused hot coffee on Stein.

Stein was assaulted for daring to present a different viewpoint at a Transgender Day of Visibility event in Union Square. The firebrand media personality chanted to the crowd, “It’s okay to be gay, don’t cut your penis off today!”

Speaking of children transitioning, Stein told the transgender supporters, “Children cannot consent! You guys are all sick!”

Seconds later, Stein was assaulted by the mob and his phone was knocked out of his hands. Stein is shoved and someone in the crowd stole his hat from his head. A man tried to wrap his arms around Stein to bring him down. Another person wearing a “Protect Trans Kids” sucker-punches Alex in the head. A woman shoves Stein from behind.

The progressive crowd not only assaulted Stein, but also doused him with water and hot coffee. The viral video also shows an LGBTQ supporter spit on Stein.

Video: Violent Transgender Activists Allegedly Assault Dad

By The Blaze. The Vancouver Police Department is investigating after activist Chris Elston, also known as “Billboard Chris,” says he was assaulted Friday at a trans-rights rally.

“The most violent group in the western world are transgender activists,” Elston tweeted Saturday.

“Here I am getting assaulted in the presence of dozens of police who do nothing,” Elston said.

“We have launched an investigation into an incident that occurred at yesterday’s trans-rights rally at Grandview Park. We support everyone’s right to peacefully assemble and protest, but we will also hold people accountable for acts of violence and criminal behaviour,” the Vancouver Police Department said Saturday afternoon in a tweet that is closed for comment.

Former Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. provided insight into the criminal case against Donald Trump on Sunday, declining to say it is “airtight.” . . .

Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Vance admitted he is unsure whether the case is “airtight,” and he explained why declined to pursue the case several years ago.

At first, Vance reiterated that federal attorneys in the Southern District of New York had asked his office to “stand down.” Then he implied that his office did not pursue a felony case against Trump because such a case is unprecedented — not just against a former president, but against anyone.

“I don’t want to get into our deliberations. But we have historically filed cases of false documentation, elevating them to felonies, when federal statutes were involved,” Vance began. China Expert Predicts Where U.S. Will ‘See the Next War Start’

China is ready for war and America is ill-prepared for it, according to one foreign policy expert who also warned it could happen on U.S. soil.

“The one thing that we know is that China is making fast preparations for war now,” Gatestone Institute senior fellow and “The Great U.S.-China Tech War” author Gordon Chang said on “Mornings with Maria” Monday.

“Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, just about 24 hours ago said all of this was overheated rhetoric, the way he put it. But the point is, China is preparing to kill Americans and we’ve got to prepare to defend ourselves,” Chang continued. “And the Defense Department is making slow, really slow, molasses-slow preparations to oppose China.”

Chang’s comments were made just before an NBC News report revealed the Chinese spy balloon which traversed the continental U.S. earlier this year gathered sensitive information as it flew over American military sites, despite the White House’s efforts to block it, according to two senior officials and one former Biden administration official. . .

“The real risk here is at the Darién Gap,” the expert said referring to the peninsula which connects North to South America. “Michael Yon, a war correspondent, is saying that he is seeing [Chinese] males of military age who are unattached to family groups. Those, I believe, are saboteurs.
