Olympic Committee Reveals Decision on Whether to Ban US Over Venezuela Strike

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has responded to calls to exclude the U.S. and its athletes from the upcoming Winter Olympics over the country’s recent military intervention in Venezuela.

The committee ruled out any penalty on the U.S. in the aftermath of the intervention.

“As a global organization, the IOC has to manage a complex reality. The IOC has to deal with the current political context and the latest developments in the world,” the IOC said in a statement to the BBC. . .

“For this reason, the IOC cannot involve itself directly in political matters or conflicts between countries, as these fall outside our remit. This is the realm of politics.”

Russian athletes are banned from competing in the Olympics since the country invaded Ukraine in 2022. Russian invaded Ukraine just four days after the closing ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics in February of that year, which is a violation of the Olympic Truce clause in the IOC charter. Russia also put Ukrainian athletes there under the control of the Russian Olympic Committee. (Read more from “Olympic Committee Reveals Decision on Whether to Ban US Over Venezuela Strike” HERE)

Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom repeatedly stuttered as The Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro pressed him on whether boys can become girls during a Thursday episode of “This Is Gavin Newsom.”

Newsom has enabled California schools to discreetly transition children without their parents’ knowledge or consent. Shapiro called out Newsom on his podcast for being unwilling to say “whether boys can become girls,” prompting a non-answer from the governor.

“Yeah. I just don’t, well, I think, uh, I’m for the grace of God,” Newsom said. “Yeah.”

“I appreciate the sympathy … anybody who’s suffering with any sort of mental or physical condition, that’s terrible,” Shapiro responded.

Newsom responded with a platitude and more stammering.

“I mean, I think it’s been, it’s been the case for generations, for, in time immemorial. I, you know, God bless. I just, I don’t know how,” the governor said before Shapiro cut him off. (Read more from “Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls” HERE)

Iran Issues Direct Assassination Threat Against President Trump

Iran broadcast a chilling threat against President Donald Trump on Wednesday, airing an image of the U.S. leader from the 2024 Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt with a stark warning: “This time it will not miss the target.”

The message appeared on Iranian state-run television and was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP), marking what observers say is Tehran’s most explicit threat yet against the American president.

The image reportedly showed Trump bloodied from the 2024 campaign rally shooting in which he was struck in the ear by gunman Thomas Crooks. The photo was displayed during a pro-government rally in Iran, events that continue to be broadcast despite nationwide communications blackouts imposed amid ongoing anti-regime protests.

The threat comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran reach new highs. Trump has repeatedly condemned Iran’s violent crackdown on demonstrators and warned that the United States could take military action if the regime continues targeting protesters.

This is not the first time Iran has issued threats against Trump. In 2022, Iranian media released a video depicting a mock assassination attempt on Trump at his Mar-a-Lago golf course. That video resurfaced in 2024 after the arrest of Ryan Routh, who was apprehended while allegedly attempting to attack Trump at the same location.

U.S. authorities have also warned of real-world Iranian plots targeting the former and current president. The Justice Department revealed in 2024 that it had disrupted an alleged assassination plan directed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. Court documents stated that Iranian operative Farhad Shakeri had been tasked with organizing an effort to kill Trump.

The latest threat was broadcast as pro-regime rallies took place across Iran, with participants seen holding anti-American signs and chanting “Death to America!” in support of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iranian officials have encouraged such demonstrations in an effort to counter widespread public anger over the country’s economic crisis.

Since late December, Iran has been rocked by massive protests sparked by inflation, unemployment, and government corruption. According to the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency, more than 2,500 people have been killed in the regime’s crackdown, with thousands more arrested.

The unrest has sharply increased friction between Iran and the United States. Trump has openly supported the protesters and warned that military action remains an option if Tehran continues to brutalize its citizens.

Dan Bongino Reveals What Triggered Viral Post About Being ‘Shocked’ To His ‘Core’ At FBI

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino recounted on “The Vince Show” Monday reading documents that led him to make a viral July 2025 X post about being “shocked” to his “core.”

Bongino wrote in the post, which garnered 20.5 million views, that he would “never be the same” following the revelations in the documents. He told host Vince Coglianese, who is also the Daily Caller’s editorial director and host of “The Vince Coglianese Show,” that he was reading Crossfire Hurricane documents on a Friday night.

“It was basically about Crossfire. I was just reading some stuff about Crossfire,” Bongino said. “And … I was blown away … I lived in this kind of tiny apartment in D.C., … And I’m sitting there and I’m thinking to myself, ‘I couldn’t believe it happened here.’ You know, Vince, like having been a Secret Service agent, a police officer, and I hadn’t been in the FBI role that long, but it had been a few months.”

“I just thought, gosh, these guardrails just broke down because of people. People are guardrails, not robots … And I was just stunned at how many people just let this — just the incredibly poor decision-making,” he added. “It blew my mind … I got up the next day and I just fired that out … I was really shaken by the whole thing, how these guardrails broke down so quickly. It was astonishing. And I was — oh boy. Even now talking about it, I just remember that feeling. Like, oh my gosh, did this really happen? Yeah, that’s what that was about.”

Crossfire Hurricane was the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign regarding allegations of Russian collusion. (Read more from “Dan Bongino Reveals What Triggered Viral Post About Being ‘Shocked’ To His ‘Core’ At FBI” HERE)

Renee Good’s Former Father-in-Law: ‘I Don’t Blame ICE’ for Her Death

Timmy Macklin, father-in-law of Renee Good, said he doesn’t blame Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for her death.

Macklin called the shooting of his former daughter-in-law a “hard situation all around” and said that “some bad choices” were made, during an interview with CNN on Tuesday.

“I don’t blame ICE. I don’t blame [Good’s “wife”] Rebecca. I don’t blame Renee,” he told Erin Burnett. “I just wish that, you know, if we’re walking in the spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there. That’s the way I look at it.”

Macklin’s son had previously been married to Good before he died in 2023. The two share a now six-year-old son. Macklin described his former daughter-in-law as “an amazing person” and “good mother.”

“I just think we make bad choices, and that’s the problem, there is so much chaos in the whole world today,” he said. “We need to turn to God and walk in the spirit of God and let him lead us and guide us.”

University Under Fire for Researcher Comment Calling for Assassination of Conservatives

The University of Washington is investigating comments made by a researcher who posted on social media, allegedly calling for the assassination of conservative voices.

Mara Maughan, who uses she/they pronouns according to her bio on the UW Fuller Labs website, is labeled as an RSE1 under the Department of Microbiology’s “research and lab staff.”

“May there be tyler robinsons for you all,” Maughan posted on Facebook in a comment directed at Educational Freedom Institute Executive Director Corey DeAngelis. . .

DeAngelis had posted a clip of a Democratic state senator in Washington state with the caption, “he can’t acknowledge that there are biological differences between men and women.”

“This kind of violent rhetoric from Mara Maughan and far too many others on the left — wishing for assassins to target conservatives like me and my family — absolutely concerns me, as it not only normalizes political violence but fuels a dangerous environment where radical ideologies in academia and beyond threaten our freedoms and safety without accountability,” DeAngelis told Fox News Digital. Passengers Left Horrified After Screams Erupt From Beneath Taxiing Plane

Passengers aboard an Air Canada flight departing Toronto last month were left shaken after terrifying screams suddenly echoed from beneath the cabin as the aircraft taxied toward the runway.

The incident occurred on Dec. 13 aboard Air Canada Flight 1502, an Airbus aircraft preparing to fly from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Moncton, New Brunswick. The plane, which was carrying 184 passengers, had begun taxiing when passengers near the rear of the cabin reported hearing muffled banging and desperate screams coming from below.

According to local outlet CBC, a ground crew member had become trapped inside the aircraft’s cargo hold after the doors reportedly closed unintentionally while the plane was on the ground.

Passengers said the disturbing noises quickly drew attention, prompting flight attendants to rush toward the back of the aircraft as concern spread through the cabin.
“Some of the people that were sitting towards the back of the plane heard the person screaming and banging, trying to get their attention,” passenger Gabrielle Caron told CBC.

Caron said passengers could see activity outside the aircraft as crew members gathered near the plane, signaling that something was wrong. Shortly afterward, the pilot informed passengers that a member of the ground crew was trapped in the luggage compartment.

The aircraft was stopped before reaching the runway. Moments later, the trapped worker safely exited the cargo hold and entered the cabin, reassuring passengers that he was not injured.

Air Canada confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

According to Caron, the crew member had been helping load items into the cargo hold as an extra set of hands and may not have been accounted for when the doors were closed.

Renee Nicole Good’s Family Forces Denial of Online Rumors She Had Criminal History

The family of Renee Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis last week after clipping him with her SUV, was forced to address unsubstantiated rumors she had a lengthy rap sheet in an emotional plea.

“I’ve been pretty quiet about this, because I wanted to wait until our family could piece together a statement… and it is finally published,” Good’s sister-in-law Morgan Fletcher wrote on Facebook Monday.

“You never think the passing of a loved one will be high profile… or a massively divisive, political topic,” she said.

“We are grieving. Heavily. And yes, we see everyone’s posts and comments. Some in support but also, the nasty ones ripping apart our beautiful and beloved Renee. And we’ve seen the false claims and the wrong Renee Good’s info being posted (criminal history? She didn’t have one.)”

The Post has found no evidence that Good has any criminal history, but a widely-spread image on social media, complete with a possibly AI-generated mugshot, lists numerous bogus criminal charges and arrests dating back to 2022. ‘It’s Not Just Venezuela’: Rand Paul Cites Greenland as War Powers Debate Heats Up

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Sunday that the War Powers Resolution he and several Republican senators supported is not limited to Venezuela, but is also meant to prevent potential military action involving Greenland and other countries without congressional approval.

Appearing on ABC’s This Week, Paul was asked about recent comments from the White House indicating that the use of U.S. military force to secure Greenland has not been ruled out. Paul said he hopes military force would not be used, but argued that public threats undermine diplomacy.

Paul said that even if the United States were interested in purchasing Greenland, threatening military action would only alienate the people living there and make any agreement less likely. He added that talk of sending U.S. Marines would have the opposite effect of encouraging cooperation.

He also said there is little support in either Greenland or Washington for a military invasion, regardless of political party. However, Paul expressed concern that repeated statements leaving military force “on the table” amount to saber-rattling.

Paul said that is why the War Powers Act debate is important. He explained that the resolution is not only about Venezuela, but also about Greenland, Colombia, Cuba, and other potential conflicts. According to Paul, the issue centers on whether Congress and the American people have a say before the United States engages in military action.

The War Powers Resolution backed by Paul and five other Republican senators seeks to limit the president’s authority to conduct military operations without explicit authorization from Congress.

Unique Flu Experiment Reveals Why Some People Don’t Catch It Despite Exposure

With an aggressive new strain spreading across the country, this year’s flu season has been marked by record-high hospitalizations and reportedly intense symptoms.

As people look for ways to contain the spread, new research has found that a few simple factors can greatly reduce transmission.

Researchers from the University of Maryland Schools of Public Health and Engineering in College Park and the School of Medicine in Baltimore studied influenza spread by placing flu-positive college students in a hotel room with healthy middle-aged adult volunteers. . .

The participants, including 11 healthy volunteers, lived on a quarantined floor of a Baltimore-area hotel for two weeks. During that time, they simulated interactions, including having conversations, doing physical activities like yoga, and passing around objects like pens and tablets from infected people to the rest of the group.

At the end of the experiment, none of the healthy individuals had become infected with the flu due to a variety of factors. This included a lack of coughing, as the infected students were holding “a lot of virus in their noses” and only small amounts were “expelled into the air,” the researchers noted.
