Utah Police Report Claims Officer Shape-Shifted Into a Frog

There is a perfectly reasonable explanation for why, on paper, a local Utah police officer allegedly turned into a frog.

The claim comes from the Heber City Police Department in Heber City, Utah, where officers are reportedly looking to save time on their paperwork, as writing police reports typically takes personnel between one and two hours per day.

In order to save on man-hours, Heber City PD began testing new software that can take bodycam footage and generate a police report based on the audio and video.

The new artificial intelligence program did not take long to malfunction though, as just a few weeks into its trial in December, a police report stated that one of the local officers had shape-shifted into a frog during an investigation. It turns out the software picked up on audio that was playing on a TV screen present during the incident.

“The bodycam software and the AI report-writing software picked up on the movie that was playing in the background, which happened to be ‘The Princess and the Frog,'” Sergeant Rick Keel told FOX 13 News, referring to the 2009 animated Disney film. Renee Nicole Good, the mom who was killed by a federal agent after veering her car toward him, was an anti-ICE “warrior” and was part of a group of activists who worked to “document and resist” the federal immigration crackdown in Minnesota, The Post can reveal.

Good, who moved to the city last year, linked up with the anti-ICE activists through her 6-year-old son’s woke charter school, which boasts that it puts “social justice first” and prioritizes “involving kids in political and social activism,” multiple local sources said. . .

Just as many others did in the lefty enclave, Good sent her son to Southside Family Charter School, a K-5 academy opened in 1972 that from its inception has been “unabashedly dedicated to social justice education,” according to co-founder Susie Oppenheim.

It was through her involvement in the school community that Good became involved in “ICE Watch” — a loose coalition of activists dedicated to disrupting ICE raids in the sanctuary city.

“From my understanding, she was involved in social justice … we are a tight-knit community and a lot of parents are [activists],” former Southside gym teacher Rashad Rich, who resigned from the school last month, told The Post. Grocery Chain Launches Massive Expansion With 180 New US Stores

Budget-friendly grocery chain Aldi is expanding its footprint in the U.S.

The company announced on Monday that it plans to open more than 180 stores by the end of 2026, pushing its total footprint to nearly 2,800 this year. Its goal is to operate about 3,200 stores by the end of 2028.

As part of the company’s growth plans over the next five years, it will enter the Colorado market for the first time while opening additional stores in the Southeast and West markets. It also has plans to open three new distribution centers in Florida, Colorado and Arizona.

Aldi, which is entering its 50th year in the U.S., said the expansion meets the “sustained demand” for its simple and affordable operating model.

“In 2026 we’re focused on making it even easier for customers to shop our aisles first,” Aldi U.S. CEO Atty McGrath said in a statement. “That means bringing ALDI to even more neighborhoods, upgrading our website and planning additional distribution centers to keep our shelves stocked.” (Read more from “Grocery Chain Launches Massive Expansion With 180 New US Stores” HERE)

Ex-CIA ‘Spy Who Lied’ Wants Trump to Expose ‘Horrific’ Biden Havana Syndrome ‘Cover-Up’

A former top CIA officer has revealed he suffered from the mysterious neurological illness known as Havana Syndrome — and wants the Trump administration to expose what he calls the Biden administration’s cover-up of debilitating attacks on US personnel.

Marc Polymeropoulos, a 26-year CIA veteran and ex–senior operations chief who signed the infamous “spies who lie” letter about Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election campaign, told The Post that the 46th president’s administration perpetrated one of the worst intelligence scandals of modern times.

“The cover-up was horrific,” Polymeropoulos said.

Over the weekend, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made headlines by highlighting the account of a Venezuelan guard protecting dictator Nicolas Maduro. As US forces swooped on Caracas early on Jan. 3 to arrest Maduro on federal drug and weapons charges, Maduro’s guards were subjected to an unknown force that caused them to be incapacitated, bleed through their nose and “vomit blood.”

The Biden administration publicly denied the existence of Havana Syndrome — believed by non-government scientists to have been caused by powerful directed-energy weapons wielded by foreign adversaries such as Russia and Cuba — despite their own intelligence personnel suffering from “unbearable pain,” Polymeropoulos said.

After Trump took office last year, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard tasked her “director’s initiatives group” to investigate “anomalous health incidents” (AHI) — government jargon for Havana Syndrome. Venezuelan Security Guard Shares Wild Account of Mystery Sonic Weapon US Used in Maduro Raid

The US used a powerful mystery weapon that brought Venezuelan soldiers to their knees, “bleeding through the nose” and vomiting blood during the daring raid to capture dictator Nicolas Maduro, according to a witness account posted Saturday on X by the White House press secretary.

In a jaw-dropping interview, the guard described how American forces wiped out hundreds of fighters without losing a single soldier, using technology unlike anything he has ever seen — or heard.

“We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation,” the guard said. “The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn’t know how to react.”

Moments later, a handful of helicopters appeared — “barely eight,” by his count — deploying what he estimated were just 20 US troops into the area.

Trump Admin to Carry Out Preliminary Attack Plans on Iran — As Officials Consider What Sites to Target: Report

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing preliminary plans for an attack on Iran, including the option of large-scale airstrikes.

Officials are considering how to follow through on President Trump’s recent elevated threats against the Islamic Republic, including what sites might be targeted, insiders told the Wall Street Journal.

A massive aerial strike campaign on multiple Iranian military targets is one option being considered — although Washington has not reached consensus on a plan of action.

No military equipment or personnel have been moved for a potential attack, the insiders said.

The conversations do not indicate that the US will strike, with the sources explaining that the planning is routine.

Trump Puts Political Hit On 5 Republican Senators Who Defied Him — One Isn’t Like The Others

President Donald Trump called for a group of Republicans to lose their reelection bids Thursday after they voted to check his authority to use military force on Venezuela.

Frequent Trump critics — Republicans Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — were among the group of five Republicans who Trump excoriated for voting to block future military action absent congressional approval. Republican Indiana Sen. Todd Young, who did not back Trump in 2024, also supported the measure. Trump also notably lashed out at Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, a close populist ally who stunningly broke with the president during Thursday’s vote.

“This Vote greatly hampers American Self Defense and National Security, impeding the President’s Authority as Commander in Chief,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that the five dissenting Republicans should be “ashamed” of their votes and “should never be elected to office again.” . . .

Hawley, a leading populist in the Senate who frequently breaks with traditional Republican orthodoxy on economic issues, said his vote in support of the war powers resolution should not be interpreted as a rebuke of the president.

The Missouri Republican said he voted to check the president’s authority over concerns Trump could send troops to Venezuela. He previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation in November that he opposed U.S. government-backed regime change and feared getting drawn into a costly foreign war.

“With regard to Venezuela, my read of the Constitution is that if the President feels the need to put boots on the ground there in the future, Congress would need to vote on it,” Hawley wrote on X following the vote.

Cameraman Catches Moment Grenade Hits Congresswoman, Explodes On Head

National Party Deputy Gladis Aurora Lopez Calderon of the Honduran Congress was seriously wounded when a grenade detonated near her head at the National Congress Thursday, multiple outlets reported.

Lopez was giving an interview when she was struck by the explosive device that was allegedly thrown by a far-left protester, according to HCH TV, a Honduran media outlet. Videos posted to X by the outlet not only showed the moment of impact, but also the object being thrown by an individual.

“We’re arriving at the emergency room, I’m in a lot of pain. I’m deaf in one ear, I think the cameras captured me being pushed out. I have to ask Human Rights to protect me,” Lopez said after the attack.

National Party Deputy Tomás Zambrano of the Honduran Congress, the party’s leader in the legislative body, said far-left protesters were responsible for the attack.

“We were giving interviews to the media, accompanied by fellow deputies from the National Party to begin the extraordinary session, and they threw bombs at us, with mortars,” Zambrano said, according to Times Now, before going on to accuse National Congress President Luis Rolando Redondo Guifarro of being responsible for the attack.

“I know she was doing the right thing. I watched the video plenty of times but I also know in my heart the woman she was, she was doing everything right.”

Good and her wife Rebecca, 40, were raising the boy together in the mostly working-class, activist-heavy neighborhood of south Minneapolis, which features tree-lined streets and a large number of homes with windows decked out in LGBTQ+ flags or signs depicting George Floyd. Trump Wants to Ban Institutional Investors From Purchasing Single-Family Homes

President Donald Trump said in a statement on social media that he is moving to ban institutional investors from buying single-family homes and that he wants Congress to “codify” the ban into law.

The president has made easing the housing crisis a goal of his second term, and many have pointed to institutional investors as a large source of the problem.

In a post on Truth Social Wednesday, Trump mentioned banning institutional housing purchases and hinted at other solutions to ease the housing crisis.

“For a very long time, buying and owning a home was considered the pinnacle of the American Dream. It was the reward for working hard, and doing the right thing, but now, because of the Record High Inflation caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats in Congress, that American Dream is increasingly out of reach for far too many people, especially younger Americans,” he wrote.

“It is for that reason, and much more, that I am immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes, and I will be calling on Congress to codify it,” the president added. “People live in homes, not corporations.”
