Biden Ignores Impact Of Defund-the-Police in Rise of ‘Gun Violence’

By WND. As he made the case Thursday for his executive actions on gun control, President Biden emphasized the daily toll of gun violence without acknowledging that the spike in violent crime in major cities has coincided with his party’s push to defund police. . .

Homicide data compiled from 19 cities shows a spike in murders immediately after the death of George Floyd last May, confirming analysts who attribute the record homicide rate to the “Minneapolis Effect,” WND reported in February. Manhattan Institute scholar Heather Mac Donald coined the term “Ferguson Effect” in the wake of the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. As police backed off from discretionary enforcement, an additional 2,000 blacks lost their lives in 2015-16 compared to the previous period. The “Minneapolis Effect,” she said last summer was far worse, making the “Ferguson Effect” looking like “child’s play.”

In the weeks following Floyd’s death on Memorial Day, for example, homicides rose 100% in Minneapolis, 200% in Seattle, 240% in Atlanta and 182% in Chicago. In New York City, shootings more than doubled. . .

Among the programs cut was a specialized unit focused on curbing gun violence, which had been criticized for disproportionately targeting people of color. A month after disbanding the unit, a 27-year-old black man visiting from Sacramento, California, was killed, and critics believe he would be alive if the unit had remained in place.

On Wednesday, the Portland City Council responded to the further rise in gun violence with a $6 million plan. But the Portland Police Bureau won’t get any of that money, Instead, $4 million will go to community outreach groups that already receive city funding, and $1.4 million will go to the city’s Park Ranger Program. Governor Blocks Biden Administration From Bringing Illegal Alien Children to State

Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster issued an executive order Monday preventing the state from taking in undocumented migrant children and placing them in the state’s foster care and group home system.

The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS), in a letter dated April 8, told McMaster the federal government was making inquiries about possibly transporting an unknown number of migrant children from the southern border to be placed in the state’s childcare systems.

McMaster issued an executive order barring the state from taking unaccompanied minors in.

Nikki Haley Makes an Announcement About Her Presidential Prospects

Former United Nations (UN) Ambassador Nikki Haley made an announcement about her potential presidential run, during an appearance in South Carolina on Monday. The former Trump administration official and former Governor of South Carolina said that she would not launch a presidential campaign if the former president himself were to run for the White House again. Haley said that she would throw her support behind Trump if he ultimately decides to launch a third bid for the presidency.

“I would not run if President Trump ran, and I would talk to him about it,” Haley told reporters. “That’s something that we will have a conversation about, at some point.”

Chilling Video: Christians Tear Down Fences Around Shut Down Church, Government Sends In Riot Police

Hundreds of Canadian Christians gathered on Sunday at the GraceLife Church in Edmonton, Alberta. Government officials shut down the church for allegedly violating public COVID-19 health orders. Authorities erected a chain-link fence to prevent the house of worship from reopening last week. On Sunday, worshippers tore down the barricade, but were quickly met by a large contingent of riot police.

Alberta Health Services physically closed the GraceLife Church, preventing access to the building. AHS said the church would remain closed until the GraceLife Church “can demonstrate the ability to comply with Alberta’s chief medical officer of health’s restrictions.” The Royal Canadian Mounted Police even closed off the access roads in front of the church to the public.

Approximately 400 people gathered outside the church on Sunday, according to the Edmonton Journal. The Christians were not able to get inside the church, so they sang hymns and listened to Bible readings outside the building.

COVID Variant Eight Times More Likely to Infect Vaccinated People: Study

A study from Tel Aviv University found that a South African variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus affects people vaccinated with the Pfizer shot more than unvaccinated people.

The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, indicated that the B.1.351 variant of the virus was found eight times more in individuals who were vaccinated—or 5.4 percent against 0.7 percent—against those who were not vaccinated. Clalit Health Services, a top Israeli health-care provider, also helped in the study.

“We found a disproportionately higher rate of the South African variant among people vaccinated with a second dose, compared to the unvaccinated group,” said Adi Stern of Tel Aviv University. “This means that the South African variant is able, to some extent, to break through the vaccine’s protection.”

The study looked at 400 people who received at least one shot of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and had contracted the COVID-19 variant and compared them to the same number of people who were infected and unvaccinated. Moderna’s vaccine is also used in Israel, but it was not included in the study. . .

Model Brain-Damaged After Eating Pretzel (VIDEO)

The family of a model who was left brain-damaged after having a serious allergic reaction to a peanut butter-infused pretzel was awarded nearly $30 million by a Las Vegas jury.

Chantel Giacalone’s family was awarded the $29.5 million Friday when a jury found that the responding ambulance service negligently treated her in 2013, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

“At least my daughter will be taken care of. I’m happy about that,” her father, Jack Giacalone, said after the verdict was read.

On Feb. 20, 2013, then-27-year-old Giacalone was modeling clothes at a fashion trade show at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center when her friend bought her frozen yogurt and put a bite-size pretzel on top.

Side Effects Of The Johnson & Johnson Shot That Caused Vaccine Site To Close Down

The 11 people who suffered adverse reactions to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine — prompting the closure of a vaccination site in Colorado — experienced symptoms including nausea and dizziness, according to health officials.

Two people within that group were also taken to the hospital for further observation, the Denver Post reported, citing a statement from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. . .

The health department stressed that the side effects experienced Wednesday were “consistent with what can be expected” with the one-shot dose. It said the decision to close the vaccination site at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City was made out of an abundance of caution. . .

Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski received an endorsement from a high-profile conservative group, shortly after a fellow Republican announced a primary challenge for her 2022 reelection. Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), a group aligned with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), threw its support behind Murkowski on Friday morning and called the incumbent a “champion for conservative values in Washington.”

“Alaska needs the kind of experienced representation that Lisa Murkowski provides in the United States Senate. By WND. Joe Biden announced Thursday he wants, during his presidency, administration rules against “ghost guns,” another to blend the definitions of pistol and rifles, a nationwide promotion of “red flag” laws that allows people to be banned from having guns on someone else’s feelings, and more.

And it’s no more or less than a “war” on Americans. . .

But the Second Amendment Foundation warned that he will not be allowed to bend the Constitution. Or break it.

“The devil will be in the details,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “Our legal team will review them and we are prepared to file suit if Biden and his administration steps over their legal authority.”

Gottlieb recalled that Biden has been a virulent promoter of gun control throughout his decades in Washington. He featured gun control as a major part of his presidential campaign last year, and published reports say he has met with representatives from gun prohibition advocacy groups since taking office. Whoops: President Biden Repeatedly Refers To The ATF As The ‘AFT’

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden repeatedly referred to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as “the AFT” on Thursday.

“Today, I’m proud to nominate David Chipman to serve as the director of the AFT,” Biden said during an announcement on new gun control measures at the White House. “David knows the AFT well, he served there for 25 years and Vice President Harris and I believe he’s the right person at this moment for this important agency.”

Biden said Thursday he is enacting a series of executive actions in order to decrease gun violence across the country. The orders include a revamping of the policy over self-assembled firearms, or what are known as ghost guns.

Biden Falsely Claims That At A Gun Show ‘You Can Buy Whatever You Want — No Background Check’

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden falsely suggested that Americans who purchase firearms at gun shows don’t need to first pass a background check prior to the transaction.

Biden said Biden said background checks aren’t required for firearm purchases at gun shows during his remarks at the White House Thursday. However, federal law already mandates firearm dealers to initiate a background check on prospective buyers at stores, gun shows or anywhere a transaction may occur, according to the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action.

“Most people don’t know that you walk into a store and buy a gun, you have a background check,” Biden said during the ceremony Thursday, in which he announced a slew of executive actions on gun violence. “But, you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want — no background check.”

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993 established the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, which is maintained by the FBI and is able to determine a person’s criminal history. The legislation requires licensed firearm sellers to conduct a background check through the system before every sale. The World’s Oligarchs Want to Wipe Out Christianity

In February I explained the many reasons that the Oligarchs fear Christianity. Their attacks on Christians started shortly after the mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol on January 6th. Suddenly Christian Nationalism was a “threat to our democracy.” “Radicalized Christian nationalism is one of the biggest threats facing the US” wrote Business Insider.

Give me a break.

“White Evangelical Resistance Is Obstacle in Vaccination Effort” according to the New York Times. “Christian nationalism is a barrier to mass vaccination against COVID-19” wrote the dimwits at The Conversation. These people love any excuse to demonize white people and Christianity.

Meanwhile the Big Tech overlords at Facebook are “fact-checking” posts from people who are dying from the vaccine. Mark Zuckerberg is also partnering with the government to socially shame those who decide to not get the experimental vaccine with “Vaccine Verified” profiles. Since when is our medical history Facebook’s business?

The great irony here is that Zuckerberg himself isn’t vaccinated, “yet.” Maybe he just doesn’t want to risk his skin peeling off in reaction to the Covid shot. I don’t blame him!

Risks aside, Christians also face a moral dilemma with regard to the fact that “fetal-cell lines played a vital role in the development of all three vaccines.” Perhaps this is why the vaccine, like abortion, has become a de facto religious ceremony for the followers of the demonic critical theory religion that is sweeping Western society.

Do you remember anyone ever virtue signaling online about getting a flu shot in the past? I sure don’t. Suddenly it’s “cool” and “hip” to let the entire world know about your medical history as a sign of your commitment to the “cause” of oligarchic tyranny.

How utterly stupid and foolish.

In other news: half of Americans support a “vaccine passport,” which means our society is rapidly fragmenting into two distinct economies: the economy of sane and rational people who do not want an experimental vaccine injected into their body and those who handed over their bodily autonomy as a science experiment so things could “go back to normal.” Newsflash: things are never going back to normal, just like they didn’t after 9/11.

This is one of the many reasons I have been pushing Christians to start building our own economy separate from all of this madness. Soon enough, we won’t have any other choice.

Ultimately the Oligarchs in power want us all worshipping the State, “stuff,” and “science” as god. God Almighty gets in the way of that. They want us enslaved to sin to become even more spineless, docile, complacent, and obedient pigs. Christians and God stand in their way of total and complete control. The experimental vaccine isn’t about health and it isn’t about politics.

It’s about power.

Power over your body. Power over your mind. Power over your soul. Resist. Keep the faith. We are children of God.

After all: “my body, my choice,” right?
