Is This Why Jim Acosta Went to CPAC?; WATCH: Crowd Surrounds Acosta, Starts Chanting ‘CNN Sucks!’

By Townhall. Just because the 2020 election is over doesn’t mean we can’t beat up on CNN’s Jim Acosta. Of course, he’s at CPAC and he got the reception he deserved. In a video, Acosta was doing an interview when Dave Marcus, a writer for The Federalist, started to ask him why his network wasn’t covering the recent sexual harassment allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. . .

Acosta was also subjected to the ‘CNN sucks’ chant which never gets old, but Sister Toldjah at our sister site, RedState, noted that Acosta’s reaction to this drumming was probably why he went to CPAC. It was so he could tweet this:

WATCH: Woman Uses Her Own Underwear as Mask After Nearly Being Kicked Out of Store

Don’t get caught with your pants down — unless, of course, you need a face mask in a jiffy.

A woman in South Africa avoided getting thrown out of a Pick n Pay supermarket by using her panties as a mask.

Smartphone camera footage obtained by Newsflash caught the bizarre interaction in which the store guard asked the maskless woman, who was waiting with her cart of groceries in the checkout line, to put on a face mask or leave the store.

Having no mask handy, the resourceful renegade objects before pausing, presumably the moment a lightbulb went off in her head.

In the next moment, the cheeky customer can be seen reaching up beneath her paisley-printed skirt, then pulling her black thong underwear down her legs and up to her face, where she placed it in such a way as to cover her nose and mouth.

Biden’s COVID Relief Bill Is Chock Full of Anti-White Reverse Racism

By New York Post. Polls show most Americans support the federal COVID-19 relief bill. But if they knew what’s in it, they might feel differently. The bill is an affront to the American ideal of equal treatment under law — and a slap in the face for people who want everyone helped fairly.

Section 1005 of the bill offers “socially disadvantaged” farm owners total debt forgiveness of up to hundreds of thousands of no-strings dollars per farmer. But white men needn’t apply. The bill’s definition of “socially disadvantaged,” drawn from elsewhere in federal law, limits aid to racial groups who faced historic discrimination.

Newly elected Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.), who proposed the measure, says it will make up for years of discrimination. Sorry, senator, but this is discrimination.

Discrimination likewise mars the bill’s aid to restaurants. It grants restaurant owners up to $5 million per facility to offset losses caused by lockdowns. That’s a lifeline for restaurants barely hanging on.

Here’s the hitch: Only women, veterans and owners of “socially and economically disadvantaged” concerns (again, defined racially elsewhere in federal law) may apply during the program’s first three weeks. Most white males go to the back of the line, even if their needs are more pressing. (Read more from “Biden’s COVID Relief Bill Is Chock Full of Anti-White Reverse Racism” HERE)

House To Vote on $1.9 Trillion COVID Relief Bill This Week as Senate Considers Minimum Wage Hike

By CBS News. The House is expected to approve President Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief proposal later this week in a party-line vote, after the House Budget Committee advanced the bill on Monday. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer announced Tuesday evening that the House would vote on the legislation on Friday.

Although the narrow Democratic majority in the House will likely pass the bill as is, it’s unclear whether a provision raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025 will be included in the final Senate version of the legislation.

The bill, which includes $1,400 in direct payments to Americans making under $75,000, extra money for vaccine distribution and funding to state and local governments, was approved by the Budget Committee on Monday by a vote of 19 to 16. Congressman Lloyd Doggett was the sole Democrat to join Republicans in voting against the bill, although a spokesperson for Doggett later said in a statement that his “no” vote was a mistake and he “supports the COVID-19 relief legislation.” (Read more from “House To Vote on $1.9 Trillion COVID Relief Bill This Week as Senate Considers Minimum Wage Hike” HERE)

Report: FBI Investigating Members of Congress as Riot ‘Suspects’!

By WND. Hundreds of people have been investigated for their roles in the riot at the U.S. Capitol in January, and many have been arrested and face charges ranging from trespassing on up.

Now, some members of Congress also are being investigated by the FBI as suspectets, the Intercept reported.

Within hours of the riot, the FBI began obtaining thousands of phone and electronic records involving people at the scene, including members of Congress, the publication said.

“Using special emergency powers and other measures, the FBI has collected reams of private cellphone data and communications that go beyond the videos that rioters shared widely on social media,” the Intercept said, citing two sources.

The FBI obtained the information through emergency orders that do not require court authorization as well as data downloads from cellphone towers in the area. (Read more from “Report: FBI Investigating Members of Congress as Riot ‘Suspects’!” HERE)

In Report Affirming Nearly No Transmission in Schools, CDC Slips in Shocking Data About Asymptomatic Spread

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control slipped in a shocking piece of evidence in a recent report on low in-school COVID-19 transmission that severely undercuts the rationale for most COVID restrictions, including lockdowns.

The Jan. 29 report’s conclusion seems to fit the pro-mask narrative, of course: “Schools might be able to safely open with appropriate mitigation efforts [such as masking and not allowing student cohorts to mix] in place.” In the 17 rural Wisconsin schools surveyed, only seven cases were linked to in-school transmission out of 4,876 pupils, and no staff members were infected at school during the study period.

While the report spends ample time explaining the mitigation strategies employed in the schools and the high reported mask compliance (92%) among students, the authors later discuss something you probably have not seen in any of the mainstream media’s coverage of this report:

“Children might be more likely to be asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 than are adults…This apparent lack of transmission [in schools] is consistent with recent research (5), which found an asymptomatic attack rate of only 0.7% within households and a lower rate of transmission from children than from adults. However, this study was unable to rule out asymptomatic transmission within the school setting because surveillance testing was not conducted” (emphasis added). . .

The text of the analysis is even more consequential than the CDC’s reference makes it seem: “Estimated mean household secondary attack rate from symptomatic index cases (18.0%; 95% CI, 14.2%-22.1%) was significantly higher than from asymptomatic or presymptomatic index cases (0.7%; 95% CI, 0%-4.9%; P < .001), although there were few studies in the latter group. These findings are consistent with other household studies28,70 reporting asymptomatic index cases as having limited role in household transmission” (emphasis added). WATCH: Police Video Shows the Moment a Missing Child Rushes to Hug a Deputy Who Rescued Her From Alleged Online Predator

A startling video captured the moment that a missing 13-year-old girl rushed to hug a deputy who rescued her from an alleged online predator. . .

The grandmother of the girl called police after she failed to arrive home in Oak Hill from school and didn’t go to a basketball game she had planned to attend.

Deputy Royce James spoke to a friend of the girl who told him that she had planned to go to a motel with someone she had met online. The friend said that the man’s name started with a T, possibly Tyler, might have been from Orlando, and that the girl might have met him at the Dollar General store in Oak Hill.

Deputy James was able to find surveillance images of the victim at the store, and an employee said that she had been waiting for someone outside the store.

When James searched the motels nearby, he eventually found a guest named Tyler from Orlando who had checked in that day.

Mother of Capitol Officer Says Media Got Her Son’s Death Wrong, Rejects NYT Fire Extinguisher Story

The Federalist. The mother of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died one day after the Capitol riots in January, rejected media assertions weaponized by Democrats in their impeachment trial that her son was killed from head trauma by a fire extinguisher.

“He wasn’t hit on the head, no. We think he had a stroke, but we don’t know anything for sure,” Gladys Sicknick told the Daily Mail in an interview published Tuesday. “We’d love to know what happened.”

The false narrative first came from the New York Times, which headlined an article, “Capitol Police Officer Dies From Injuries in Pro-Trump Rampage,” published on Jan. 8, two days after the riot. . .

Subsequent reporting, however, shed doubt on the paper’s claim, which resulted in only a quiet correction more than a month later — once the Senate impeachment trial began to wrap up. . .

Medical examiners told CNN in a story published on Feb. 2 that they failed to find signs that Officer Sicknick “sustained any blunt force trauma,” let alone by a fire extinguisher. ProPublica cast doubt on the fire extinguisher story much sooner, publishing comments from Sicknick’s brother, Ken, on Jan. 8. Ken said his brother texted the family hours after the attack that he had been pepper-sprayed but was doing fine. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s Mother: ‘He Wasn’t Hit on the Head’ on Jan. 6

By The Epoch Times. The mother of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick said her son was not beaten with a fire extinguisher by a mob on Jan. 6, saying he likely suffered a stroke instead—refuting reports from the New York Times and other outlets claiming otherwise. . .

Sicknick’s brother also disputed the reports about his death in early January. “[Officer Sicknick] texted me last night and said, ‘I got pepper-sprayed twice,’ and he was in good shape,” his brother, Ken Sicknick, said to news outlets last month, appearing to dispute key details of the original NY Times report. . .

Meanwhile, there have been no arrests related to the slain officer’s death, and officials have not released details about a potential suspect. And while the breach was captured via live-streaming video, there is no footage that surfaced of demonstrators hitting Sicknick with a fire extinguisher.

An official Capitol Police statement said that “officer Brian D. Sicknick passed away due to injuries sustained while on duty,” continuing to say, “Officer Sicknick was responding to the riots on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol and was injured while physically engaging with protesters. He returned to his division office and collapsed. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.” (Read more from “Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s Mother: ‘He Wasn’t Hit on the Head’ on Jan. 6” HERE)

WATCH: Biden’s Attorney-General Pick Drops Grenade, Cites ‘Capitol Bombing’

In a Senate hearing Tuesday on his nomination as attorney general, Judge Merrick Garland dropped an explosive in the quiet room.

He assured the senators he will look into the “Capitol bombing.”

Responding to a question, he said, “I think the first thing I should do as part of my briefing on the Capitol Bombing are briefings with Director Wray as to where he sees the biggest threat.” . . .

While hundreds of people rioted at the Capitol on Jan. 6, the only explosives were unexploded pipe bombs at the nearby offices of the Democratic and Republican parties. (Read more from “WATCH: Biden’s Attorney-General Pick Drops Grenade, Cites ‘Capitol Bombing'” HERE)
