Former President Donald Trump on Monday announced the launch of his official post-presidency office, which will be headquartered in Palm Beach, Florida.

According to an announcement from the “Office of the Former President,” the office will handle all of Trump’s “correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.”

The announcement comes after the House of Representatives formally sent over the article of impeachment for “inciting an insurrection” to the United States Senate. The post-presidency impeachment trial is set to begin on Feb. 8. (Read more from “Here’s the New Office Trump Will Hold” HERE)

But there is a really good and easy solution to Google controlling what you see when you search, and having an extremely detailed user profile on you from amassing all your data from using its products: Use Brave for your browser on all your screens (phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc.). . .

Brave is run by Mozilla founder Brendan Eich, who was kicked out of his own tech company for contributing a small amount to a California campaign to recognize male-female marriage as the only one that matters to society (because it’s the only one that organically generates children). Eich is a free speech advocate, and therefore Brave has a reputation for offering far better privacy than the browsers used as data vacuums by bigs like Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

DuckDuckGo is a search engine also explicitly committed to not manipulating results. The more we all use these two services, the better their results get and the more they reflect what unmanipulated searches show people want to actually find. To use DuckDuckGo as your default search engine, all you have to do is install and use Brave, and every time you type a search into the browser bar it automatically uses DuckDuckGo to get your results. Now WHO Admits ‘Gold Standard’ COVID Test Is Unreliable

By WND. The World Health Organization has officially acknowledged that the “gold standard” test used to diagnose COVID-19 has a high rate of false-positives that make it unreliable. . .

“Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken,” the guidance says.

The WHO warns that most PCR tests “are indicated as an aid for diagnosis,” meaning health care providers should consider at least seven other factors to confirm any test.

This State Just Sued the Biden Administration

Just two days after President Joe Biden took office, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) announced Friday that he’s suing the Biden administration over its plan to freeze most deportations for the next 100 days, an early signal that some conservative state officials plan on fighting in courtrooms to halt Biden’s agenda.

Paxton’s lawsuit aims to reverse a 100-day deportation moratorium imposed by Biden starting Friday, which pauses removals for most immigrants who entered the United States before November and aren’t deemed national security threats.

Paxton claims the deportation freeze runs afoul of federal law and violates a contract DHS signed with Texas in the final weeks of former President Donald Trump’s term, in which the federal government promised to give the state written warning and 180 days to weigh in before enacting any major changes to immigration policy. Mitch McConnell Has Proposed a Timeline for Trump’s Second Impeachment Trial

By Townhall. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) proposed a timeline on Thursday for the Senate to hold its second impeachment trial of now-former President Donald Trump. House Democrats and a handful of GOP members rushed through an eleventh-hour article of impeachment in a knee-jerk reaction to the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.

McConnell has proposed taking up the president’s latest impeachment in February to give the former president time to mount a defense. McConnell said in a statement that he has sent the proposed timeline to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

McConnell is asking for the article of impeachment to arrive at the Senate on Thursday, January 28, at which time the article would be read before the Senate by House Managers. Former President Trump would have one week from that day, so Feb. 4, to answer the article against him, and the House’s pre-trail brief would also be due on this day. Trump would have one week from then, till Feb. 11, to submit his pre-trial brief, and the House’s replication would be due at the same time. Trump Hires Defense Lawyer for Second Senate Impeachment Trial

By NBC News. Former President Donald Trump has started putting together the defense team for his historic second Senate impeachment trial, starting with hiring South Carolina-based lawyer Butch Bowers.

Trump adviser Jason Miller, who announced the hiring on Twitter, said Bowers “is well respected by both Republicans and Democrats and will do an excellent job defending President Trump.” Miller would not say whether others had signed on or whether Bowers would be the sole lawyer representing Trump.

Republican senators were briefed about Bowers’ involvement on a GOP conference call Thursday afternoon, two people familiar with the discussions said. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., mentioned that he had recommended Bowers to Trump, the sources said.

Asked later about Trump’s legal team, Graham told reporters: “Well, I think he’s going to have a good one. Butch Bowers, I think, will be the sort of anchor tenant. Biden’s New America: Joe Biden Signs Stack of Executive Orders to Roll Back Trump Agenda

The president signed three executive orders in front of the press as he sat next to a stack of folders which he intended to sign afterward. . .

Biden signed executive orders mandating masks on federal property, ordering support for underserved communities to ensure equity and equality in health care and other areas, and an order reversing the Trump Administration’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord. . .

According to the White House, Biden also signed orders revoking President Trump’s travel ban and revoked the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.

Biden Executive Order Repeals Trump Travel Ban

By Washington Examiner. President Biden rescinded the Trump administration’s travel ban against citizens from seven countries just hours after being sworn into office.

Biden on Wednesday afternoon repealed the first executive order that former President Donald Trump signed upon arriving at the White House in January 2017. The move was one of 17 reversals aimed at altering policies Trump put into effect.

That ban on travel affected countries in northern Africa and the Middle East: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Sudan. It was the first of three the Trump administration would set into action on the basis that those countries did not adequately vet travelers headed to the United States. Biden Gender Equality Order Rankles Religious Conservatives

By Washington Examiner. President Biden on Wednesday announced an executive order confirming religious conservatives’ fears that he will undo Trump-era exemptions to gender identity nondiscrimination laws.

The order, released in a blast of 17 directives aimed at undoing former President Donald Trump’s policies, requires all entities under federal control to forgo discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Referencing the landmark Supreme Court decision Bostock v. Clayton County, which interpreted Title VII of the Civil Rights Act to protect gay and transgender people in the workplace, Biden’s team said his executive order would enforce that ruling on the government.

Biden’s announcement came after he voiced support for the Equality Act, a bill that has circulated through Congress for several years, which, if passed, would apply much of the content of his order more broadly. Several states have already passed their own versions of the Equality Act, most recently in Virginia, where the requirements have already drawn a challenge from religious liberty advocates. Biden to Lift Transgender Military Ban

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden will lift the ban prohibiting transgender people from openly serving in the military, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a Wednesday statement according to NBC News.

Joe Biden Selects Transgender Health Official for HHS; He Forced Nursing Homes to Accept COVID Patients, Even His Own Mom

By Breitbart. President-elect Joe Biden announced Tuesday he had chosen Dr. Rachel Levine to serve as the assistant secretary of health for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Levine, born Richard Levine, is an openly transgender individual and would mark the first transgender official confirmed by the United States Senate, if approved.

Levine is currently the Secretary of Health for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in charge of the local response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“She is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts,” Biden said in a statement, praising Levine’s “steady leadership and essential expertise.”

Biden Health Pick Forced Nursing Homes to Accept COVID Patients

By Washington Free Beacon. Biden health nominee Rachel Levine directed Pennsylvania nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients—even as [he] pulled [his] own mother out of a longterm-care facility over pandemic concerns.

President-elect Joe Biden named Levine assistant secretary for health in a Tuesday announcement, saying [his] “steady leadership” was needed “to get people through this pandemic.” But as Pennsylvania’s health secretary, Levine faced considerable scrutiny.

Last March, [he] issued a directive requiring nursing homes to take in COVID-positive patients. Trade groups warned the decision could prove costly. The American Health Care Association said it would put “frail and older adults who reside in nursing homes at risk” and “result in more people going to the hospital and more deaths.”

Nearly two months after instituting the policy, Levine confirmed that [he] had moved [his] 95-year-old mother out of a longterm-care facility and into a hotel. At the time, more than two-thirds of Pennsylvania’s coronavirus deaths had occurred in such facilities. Multiple Republicans responded with calls for Levine’s resignation. State lawmaker Russ Diamond accused Levine of “withholding information” by failing to make Pennsylvania residents “immediately aware of her actions” and the “underlying reasons” [he] took them. . .

Federal Judge Releases BLM Capitol Rioter Without Bail

John Earle Sullivan, a far-left agitator who was present at the Capitol riots on Jan. 6 and recorded a woman’s death at the hands of police, was released from jail on Friday without bail, according to Fox News.

According to Utah District Magistrate Judge Daphne Oberg, the motion for Sullivan’s detention was denied because it didn’t meet the court’s threshold for a hearing. Prosecutors had asked for Sullivan to be retained in jail at least until inauguration day. . .

Federal judges have denied bail to others who took part in the Jan. 6 chaos. Not Oberg.

“The court orders John Earle Sullivan’s release, in this case, based on a finding that the government did not establish a basis to hold a detention hearing…Because the court finds the threshold conditions under § 3142(f) have not been met, it cannot hold a detention hearing and, thus, cannot detain the defendant,” Oberg wrote.

Spiritual Advisor To Barack Obama and George W. Bush Sentenced To 6 Years for Multi-Million Dollar China Bonds Fraud

The spiritual advisor for both Barack Obama and George W. Bush during their time as President has been sentenced to six years for his role in a multi-million dollar investment fraud scheme.

Kirbyjon H. Caldwell, 67, was sentenced by US District Judge S. Maurice Hicks on Wednesday in Shreveport, Louisiana where he and his co-defendant, Gregory Alan Smith, were indicted in 2018. . .

According to the New York Times, he spoke at the 2000 Republican National Convention, delivered the benediction at Bush’s 2005 inauguration, and officiated his daughter Jenna’s wedding in 2008.

Caldwell supported Obama’s 2008 presidential run and was part of a group of Christian pastors who would pray with him as well as being on his healthy fatherhood and family task force, the NYT added. City Takes Immediate Action After ‘Racist’ Banner Declaring ‘White Lives Matter’ Found

Officials in a northern California promptly removed a “White Lives Matter” that was posted on city property over the weekend, declaring the sign a “despicable act of vandalism.” . . .

According to KPIX-TV, police in Union City — a town not far from Oakland — took down the banner early Saturday morning. Law enforcement conducted an investigation into the banner, but concluded that no crime had been committed.

The crux of the issue, according to Union City Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci, is that whoever erected the banner did not have the proper permit to place it on city-owned property.

In a statement, the city said it was “disgusted” by the “racist” sign. . .
