TSA Agent Tricked Traveler Into Baring Breasts

A federal Transportation Security Administration agent tricked a traveler into twice showing him her breasts as she went through security at one of the world’s busiest airports, California’s attorney said.

Attorney General Xavier Becerra said Johnathon Lomeli, 22, was working at Los Angeles International Airport in June when he used fraud or deceit to falsely imprison the woman. Lomeli was arrested early Thursday at his home.

He first said he had to look inside her bra to make sure she wasn’t hiding anything, then had her hold her pants away from her waist so he could look inside, she told investigators.

He subsequently took her to what he said would be a private room for more security screening, according to an arrest affidavit. But once they were alone on an elevator, she said he told her he could do the screening right there.

The woman said Lomeli told her he had to make sure she still had nothing in her bra, requiring her to lift her shirt “to show me your full breasts.” He also again looked down her pants, she said, before telling her she was free to go and adding that she had nice breasts. US Doc Claims “Close to 100,000” Coronavirus Cases Now in China; China Reports, Deletes, Then Again Reports Death of Wuhan Virus Whistleblower Doc

By Breitbart. Several Chinese state media outlets reported the death of Dr. Li Wenliang on Thursday, only to delete their reports a few hours later and publish new bulletins indicating he remains in critical condition at Wuhan Central Hospital.

No explanation was offered for why the death of Li, who was arrested for “spreading rumors” after providing one of the earliest warnings about the true danger of the coronavirus epidemic, was incorrectly reported by state-controlled media.

Li was one of eight people notoriously arrested in December for “rumor-mongering” by warning colleagues about the highly contagious nature of the Wuhan virus. He went on to contract the virus in January from one of his patients and has been hospitalized for several weeks.

His death was widely reported on Thursday morning, to the great dismay of the Chinese public, which expressed anger that a heroic whistleblower died from the coronavirus after suffering mistreatment by the authorities, and fear that a 34-year-old man in seemingly good health could die from the disease. According to official Chinese government reports, most of the roughly 560 people who have died from the Wuhan virus to date were elderly or had serious medical conditions before they contracted the disease.

The first indication of Li’s death was a Twitter post from China’s state-run Global Times, which would have been intended for an international audience since Twitter is banned in China. The tweet has since been deleted, along with various stories in Chinese media about his death including a post by the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party, the People’s Daily.

Doctor Claims There Are ‘Probably Close to 100,000’ Coronavirus Cases in China

By Fox News. Fox News medical correspondent Dr. Marc Siegel joined “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday to give an update on the coronavirus outbreak following the death of a Chinese doctor who first brought public attention to the virus.

Wuhan Central Hospital ophthalmologist Li Wenliang, 34, reportedly shared his concerns about the illness via private chat with medical school graduates in December after several patients exhibited symptoms similar to SARS before he was visited and warned by authorities. He was then summoned to the local Public Security Bureau where he was forced to sign a letter stating that he made false comments about the virus, the BBC reported. Authorities later apologized. . .

The novel coronavirus has sickened more than 31,000 people worldwide and resulted in at least 638 deaths. About 99 percent of cases have occurred in mainland China, although one death has been reported in the Philippines and a second has been reported in Hong Kong.

Siegel told Carlson that he believed the death toll to be much higher than the number Chinese authorities have reported, offering a number close to “100,000” cases. (Read more from “Doctor Claims There Are ‘Probably Close to 100,000’ Coronavirus Cases in China” HERE)

Donald Trump Prayer Breakfast: Social Media Furious Over President’s Comments After Impeachment Acquittal

By Pop Culture. President Donald Trump’s remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday morning are inciting social media. Just hours after the Senate acquitted him on two articles of impeachment, the president attended the annual event, slamming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Mitt Romney in a scathing speech. Trump did not, however, directly name his political rivals, though his words are still causing controversy online.

Taking the stage after Arthur Brooks encouraged those in attendance to “love your enemies” and set aside “contempt” for others, Trump said that, “I don’t know if I agree with you” before jumping into his scathing speech.

Beginning his speech by stating that “my family, our great country, and your president have been put through a terrible ordeal by some very dishonest and corrupt people” who have “done everything possible to destroy us and by so doing, very badly hurt our nation,” the president went on to target Pelosi and Romney, who became the only Republican to cross party lines when he voted to convict Trump on Article I. . .

Just minutes later, social media lit up with backlash, many slamming the president for using the annual event, meant to allow those gathered to pray and reflect on their faith, as a means to attack his political rivals and speak out about the impeachment trial.

Trump Complimented Jim Jordan’s Physique and Said His Ears ‘Have Something Going on’ During Rambling Post-Impeachment Speech

By Business Insider. President Donald Trump singled out Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, complimenting the congressman’s physical fitness during a White House speech celebrating the end of the impeachment trial on Thursday.

“When I first got to know Jim, I’d say, huh, he never wears a jacket — he’s obviously very proud of his body,” Trump said. . .

The president joked that the exercise machines in the congressional gym “start burning” when Jordan uses them.

“Those ears have something going on there,” Trump said of Jordan, possibly referring to cauliflower ear. “This guy was a champion top, top wrestler.” (Read more from “Trump Complimented Jim Jordan’s Physique and Said His Ears ‘Have Something Going on’ During Rambling Post-Impeachment Speech” HERE)

‘Christian’ Buttigieg Refuses to Say He Does Not Support Infanticide

2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg refused Thursday to say whether he supports infanticide.

Buttigieg spoke with The View’s Meghan McCain regarding his stance on abortions Thursday morning. McCain reminded Buttigieg that he once suggested that unborn babies can be aborted up until they draw their first breath, and offered Buttigieg a chance to walk back this statement, noting that Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s infanticide comments have accelerated the discussion of when a woman should be able to have an abortion. . .

“I’m just pointing to the fact that different people will interpret their own moral lights, and for that matter, interpret scripture differently,” he said. “But we live in a country where it is extremely important that no one person has to be subjected to some other person’s interpretation of their own religion.”

The 2020 presidential candidate added that his point was that “it shouldn’t be up to a government official to draw the line. It should be up to the woman.” . . .

“Think about the situation. If this is a late-term situation, then by definition it’s one where a woman was expecting to carry the pregnancy to term. Then she gets the most perhaps devastating news of her life. We’re talking about families that may have picked out a name, maybe assembling a crib and they learn something, excruciating, and are faced with this terrible choice,” the former South Bend, Indiana, mayor said. Watch the Moment the Senate ACQUITTED Donald Trump; Impeachment Verdict: How the Senators Voted; Liberals Meltdown Across the U.S.

By Daily Caller. More than four months of impeachment drama culminated with the acquittal of President Donald Trump.

Pundits and politicians have speculated about Trump’s impeachment since before he was even elected, and an impeachment inquiry was officially launched in September 2019 by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Since then, there have been dozens of hearings into Trump’s now-infamous July 25th phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but it all came to an end Wednesday when the Senate acquitted the president on one count of abuse of power and another count of obstruction of justice.

Anti-Trump Protests Held Across the U.S. Following Impeachment Acquittal

By The Week. Thousands of demonstrators attended “Reject the Cover-Up” protests across the United States on Wednesday evening, after the Senate impeachment trial ended with President Trump’s acquittal. . .

Hundreds gathered outside of the Capitol, where Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) declared, “I will focus my ire on Senate Republicans. Shame on you, Mitch McConnell.” About 50 people held a sit-in inside the building, chanting, “Trump is guilty!” One demonstrator, Sara Anzalone, told USA Today she believes “getting a foreign power to interfere with our country is just completely against the Constitution and completely out of his power. And I really think that he should be held responsible, and it really kind of makes me pissed off that he could have been held accountable today.” (Read more from “Anti-Trump Protests Held Across the U.S. Following Impeachment Acquittal” HERE)

WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Was Caught on Camera Practicing ‘the Rip Heard Round the World’

Mike Pence accused Nancy Pelosi of planning to rip up the president’s State of the Union speech all along, an accusation the speaker’s office denied.

But a canny observer caught what appears to be the Speaker actually practicing the moves under the table before the speech was over.

Camera from behind the Speaker also shows the pages ‘pre-ripped’ as Pelosi made her final move when the President’s speech was over. . .

The bitter feud between the president and the speaker boiled over during the speech, with Trump snubbing her outstretched hand and Pelosi ripping apart a copy of his remarks behind his back.

Trump delivered the astonishing snub to Pelosi as he started his speech by ignoring her as she offered him a handshake, which set the tone for a full-throated condemnation of his political enemies and his presidential predecessors in front of a divided Congress. Alleged Al-Qaida Assassination Squad Leader Arrested in Arizona

The head of an alleged al-Qaida in Iraq assassination squad that killed at least two Iraqi policemen and possibly more in Fallujah has been arrested in Arizona and faces extradition to Iraq to stand trial.

Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Nouri, 42, faces two murder charges in Iraq for the 2006 assassinations. He faces a detention and extradition hearing on Wednesday in federal court in Arizona.

Iraqi investigators complied witnesses statements immediately after the separate 2006 killings, ultimately finding that Nouri was living near Phoenix through Facebook searches, according to court documents.

Combined eyewitness accounts identified Nouri as the leader of a cell of al-Qaida in Iraq operating in Anbar Province, mostly in Fallujah, where he worked as a carpenter.

Members of the killing crew who were later arrested also told police that Nouri was the emir, or group leader. (Read more from “Alleged Al-Qaida Assassination Squad Leader Arrested in Arizona” HERE)

Democrats Call for Pelosi to Resign Speakership

A top congressman and prominent Democrat law professor are both calling on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to resign after her conduct during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address last night.

Rep. Lee Zeldin responded to Pelosi ripping up Trump’s State of the Union address by writing: “Nancy Pelosi should step down as Speaker. I’m confident that the American public will be directly sending her that message themselves later this year if she doesn’t read the tea leaves herself and resign on her own terms today. It’s time.”

George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley, a self-described Democrat, also joined Zeldin in calling for Pelosi to step down following her conduct, calling her a “partisan troll.”

Turley wrote about the first time that he walked onto the floor of the House of Representatives 44 years ago, saying, “The country was deeply divided, but both parties maintained the tradition of civility and decorum. I was struck how members, even in the heat of furious debates, would not attack each other by name and followed rigid principles of decorum. They understood that they were the custodians of this institution and bore a duty to strengthen and pass along those traditions to the next generation.”

Turley continued, “At that moment, she represents the House as an institution — both Republicans and Democrats. Instead, she decided to become little more than a partisan troll from an elevated position. The protests of the Democratic members also reached a new low for the House. Pelosi did not gavel out the protest. She seemed to join it.” (Read more from “Democrats Call for Pelosi to Resign Speakership” HERE)

White House Excludes CNN From Annual SOTU Media Lunch; Trump Had America’s Top TV News Anchors Over for Lunch—and Ate Them Alive

By The Hill. The White House has excluded CNN anchors from attending a private annual lunch it hosts on the day of the State of the Union, according to three unnamed sources in a network report.

Trump has often had a contentious relationship with the media and CNN in particular.

In the past, the president has referred to CNN as “fake news,” and some of his rally attendees have chanted “CNN sucks” when Trump broaches the subject of the media.

According to the network, the lunch is a time for “off the record” discussion and for the journalists to get a sense of what the president is thinking before he addresses the nation that evening. However, this will not be the case for members of CNN’s news team this year.

Two of the network’s current anchors, Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer, were invited to and attended the 2019 lunch, and Blitzer has attended the lunch 20 years in a row, according to the network. (Read more from “White House Excludes CNN From Annual SOTU Media Lunch” HERE)

Trump Had America’s Top TV News Anchors Over for Lunch—and Ate Them Alive

By The Daily Beast. Donald Trump served various television news personalities a lunch described by one White House guest as soup and filet of sole Tuesday—but soon the assembled anchorpeople were eating out of his hand.

Much to the disappointment of folks at CNN, nobody at the long table—who included NBC’s Lester Holt and Chuck Todd, ABC’s David Muir and George Stephanopoulos, and CBS’s Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan—bothered to ask why the president had gone out of his way to exclude the cable network run by Trump’s former friend Jeff Zucker.

“MSDNC isn’t here as well,” Trump quipped—to polite chuckles but zero protests (not even by Meet the Press and MSNBC anchor Todd) from his captive audience, who were there ostensibly for a briefing on tonight’s State of the Union address but instead were treated to a lot of presidential boasting about his poll numbers and the “through-the-roof” stock market, and a lot of gloating about the “fiasco” of Iowa’s Democratic caucuses and the general disarray in the out-of-power party. WATCH: Buttigieg Voter Asks to Take Vote Back After Finding out He’s Gay

An Iowa voter who had sought to support former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg in the state’s troubled caucuses on Monday changed her mind after learning he’s gay.

A Buttigieg precinct captain in Cresco, Iowa, is seen in video posted online telling the caucusgoer that a candidate’s sexuality shouldn’t matter after the woman asked to get her support card back. . .

In the two-minute clip of the interaction, the caucusgoer is heard asking, “Are you saying that he has a same-sex partner, Pete?”

She is told that yes, Buttigieg is married to a man. Heever tells the woman that it is “common knowledge” after the caucusgoer said she had never heard that before.

“Are you kidding? Then I don’t want anybody like that in the White House. So can I have my card back?” the voter asks. (Read more from “Buttigieg Voter Asks to Take Vote Back After Finding out He’s Gay” HERE)
