New Global Warming Report Reveals Truth About Polar Bears

“Numbers are so high that Inuit leaders have been pleading with the Canadian government for more polar bear population control as violent attacks against native populations have dramatically risen in recent years,” pointed out Marc Morano at the Climate Depot website, which presents evidence countering the claim that mankind is causing catastrophic global warming. . .

But the report by zoologist Susan Crockford, writing for the non-partisan Global Warming Policy Foundation think tank, found that the bears are thriving.

Her study noted the finding “contradicts claims by environmentalists and some scientists that falls in sea ice would wipe out bear populations.” . . .

“Yet polar bear specialists are saying these bears are causing problems because they don’t have enough sea ice to feed properly,” she wrote. “The facts on the ground make their claims look silly, including the abundance of fat bears. Residents are pushing their government for a management policy that makes protection of human life the priority.”

By The Blaze. Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that “where we are” as Americans amounts to “garbage” during an appearance at the South By Southwest Conference & Festivals (SXSW). . .

“What’s really hard for people to sometimes see is that we are on this path of a slow erosion, and a slow slow slow just like — move away from what we’ve always been,” Ocasio-Cortez began by explaining how she feels that America has moved away from what it should be. “You won’t even realize that you’ve drifted a hundred miles.”

She then appeared to suggest that her Democratic Socialist policies represent core American values, arguing that we had just strayed so far from them that we couldn’t recognize them anymore. “So when someone’s talking about ‘our core,’ they’re like, ‘oh, this is radical,’ but it isn’t radical. This is what we’ve always been,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez: In U.S., ‘If You Don’t Have a Job, You Are Left to Die’

By The Daily Caller. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said Saturday that in the United States, “if you don’t have a job, you are left to die.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who made the remark at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, added that “we should not be haunted by” the possibility of automated workers replacing jobs, according to The Verge.

“We should be excited by that. But the reason we’re not excited by it is because we live in a society where if you don’t have a job, you are left to die. And that is, at its core, our problem,” added the congressman, whose Green New Deal proposal includes a federal jobs guarantee. Diver Survives After Being Scooped up in Whale’s Mouth

A diver in South Africa survived an experience out of a biblical passage last month when he ended up almost being swallowed by a whale.

Rainer Schimpf, 51, was snorkeling off the coast of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, when he ended up in the path of a Bryde’s whale, which opened his jaws and engulfed him headfirst.

“We were very astonished that out of nowhere this whale came up,” he told Sky News. “I was busy concentrating on the sharks because you want to know if the shark is in front of you or behind you, left or right, so we were very focused on the sharks and their behavior — then suddenly it got dark.”

Schimpf, who has worked as a dive operator for over 15 years, said he was in the water with two others for just a matter of minutes before the whale appeared. He had happened to be with a group recording a sardine run, which is where marine animals such as dolphins, whales, and sharks gather fish into bait balls.

“So my next thought was that the whale may take me down into the ocean and release me further down, so I instantly held my breath,” he told Sky News. “Obviously he realized I was not what he wanted to eat so he spat me out again.” (Read more from “Diver Survives After Being Scooped up in Whale’s Mouth” HERE)

Judge Jeanine Has a Concerning Theory About Where Omar’s Allegiance Lies

By Townhall. During her Fox News show on Saturday, Judge Jeanine Pirro posed an interesting question about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN): does she hold her allegiance to Sharia Law? . . .

“Omar wears a hijab, which, according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested,” Pirro told her audience. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?” . . .

Omar has garnered attention for her anti-Semitic comments, specifically about Americans’ loyalty to Israel. In her eyes, anyone who advocates for Israel is more loyal to Israelis than Americans.

Last week, the House passed a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, which was a direct result of Omar’s numerous anti-Semitic comments. Even after the resolution passed, Omar stood her ground, saying her comments started a “difficult conversation” that can lead to “great progress.”

GOP Leader Accuses Dems of ‘Enabling Anti-Semitism’ by Defending Ilhan Omar

By New York Post. A top GOP House leader accused Democrats of trying to “protect” Rep. Ilhan Omar and “enabling anti-Semitism” by failing to single out her anti-Israel comments on the House floor.

“I think it was really clearly an effort to actually protect Ilhan Omar,” Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “To cover up her bigotry and anti-Semitism by refusing to name her. The Democrats have yet to take any action to remove her from her committee. And they’ve got a real problem.”

Cheney voted against a bipartisan House resolution Thursday that condemned anti-Semitism and many other forms of hatred and bigotry.

New Report Exposes Insane Liberal Classes Taught at U.S. Universities

A new report exposes the radical leftist courses offered at universities across the U.S., which range from “Sex and Socialism” to “Cowboys, Gangsters, and Drag Kings: Introduction to Critical Masculinity Studies” to the “Gendered Politics of Food.”

Young America’s Foundation (YAF) has produced this report, Comedy & Tragedy, every year since 1995 to “document the intellectual abuse and flat-out indoctrination happening by way of the appalling curriculum at our country’s most (so-called) prestigious institutions of higher education.” . . .

There are classes on “queering God or queering the Bible,” Brown explained. “Those courses go into how, throughout history, God has been seen as definitively masculine or male, but they ask, ‘or is He?’” . . .

A number of Catholic universities made the list. DePaul University offers a class called “Sexual Justice: Lesbians, Gays and the Law,” which “examines the historical and contemporary relationships between lesbians, gays, and the law in the U.S., focusing on the intersections of power, sexuality, and identity with issues of sexuality-based discrimination.”

The Navy Fighter Pilot Judge Who Shot Down Mueller

By The Washington Examiner. A federal judge known for his impatience in court sentenced former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Thursday to less than four years behind bars, defying a requested prison term of 19 to 24 years by special counsel Robert Mueller.

T.S. Ellis III, who was appointed by President Ronald Reagan and serves on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, called Mueller’s recommended sentence “excessive.” Instead, the former U.S. Navy aviator, who piloted an F-4 Phantom before heading to Harvard Law School and then Oxford University, handed down a 47-month sentence. . .

The 78-year-old judge, who presided over the trial in which Manafort was convicted of eight financial crimes, including bank fraud, tax fraud, and failure to disclose a foreign bank account, seemed swayed by his attorneys’ argument for a sentence “substantially below” the federal guidelines. . .

But Manafort’s attorneys had hit back at the special counsel in their own sentencing memo, claiming prosecutors were trying to “vilify Mr. Manafort as a lifelong and irredeemable felon” and “spreading misinformation about Mr. Manafort to impugn his character in a manner that this country has not experienced in decades.”

Ellis was often curt during the case. At a pre-trial hearing, he questioned why the special counsel’s office had charged Manafort with crimes unrelated to their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Trump says he feels ‘very badly’ for Paul Manafort, but ‘honored’ by sentencing judge

By The Washington Examiner. President Trump said Friday he felt “very badly” for Paul Manafort, but “very honored” by the federal judge who sentenced his former campaign manager to a shorter-than-expected prison sentence.

Trump told reporters at the White House that U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis’s sentencing of Manafort to 47 months in prison — far below federal sentencing guidelines — clears him of collusion allegations between his 2016 presidential campaign and Russian elements.

“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort. I think it has been a very, very tough time for him. But if you notice, both his lawyer, a highly respected man, and a very highly respected judge, the judge said there was no collusion with Russia,” Trump said.

“This had nothing to do with collusion. There was no collusion. It’s a collusion hoax, it’s a collusion witch hoax. I don’t collude with Russia,” Trump said. “[Manafort’s] lawyer went out of his way to make a statement last night, no collusion with Russia. There was absolutely none. The judge, I mean for whatever reason, I was very honored by it, also made the statement that this had nothing to do with collusion with Russia. So you know, keep it going. Keep the hoax going. Six Philadelphia-area Taco Bell employees have been terminated after they allegedly attacked a customer and his girlfriend outside the fast-food restaurant for allegedly complaining about their long taco wait time.

“The altercation, which was captured on camera and posted on Twitter, took place Sunday night, Feb. 24, and was apparently sparked after customers were complaining about the long wait times for their meal orders,” reported Fox News.

Bryan Reese, the man who was attacked, posted a video of the brutal incident to Twitter, as well as photos of bloodied clothing, a police report, and his girlfriend’s scratched and cut-up neck. . .

“I was assaulted by a number of [Taco Bell] employees, when I reached out to [Taco Bell] for justice they offered a $20 gift card, they must have thought I said Birthday not Assault,” he captioned the video, which was shot by his friend.

“I backed out of the store. They continued to follow me. They put me on the ground, and I don’t really remember too much else. Except for when I got up my girlfriend was on the ground being beat, too. She wasn’t even in the store at the time,” Reese told ABC6.

He’s slated to start his four-year jail sentence shortly. It was a back-and-forth between Democrats who somehow think this guy is now Mr. Reformed and a credible witness in their ongoing crusade to impeach the president. Republicans kept brining up his convictions, which include lying to Congress (via NYT):

Michael D. Cohen, a former lawyer for President Trump, was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday after denouncing Mr. Trump and explaining that “I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds.”

Mr. Cohen gave an emotional apology to the court for his involvement in a hush-money scandal that could threaten the Trump presidency — a scheme to buy the silence of two women who said they had affairs with Mr. Trump to protect his chances before the 2016 election. Mr. Cohen said his blind loyalty to Mr. Trump led him to ignore “my own inner voice and my moral compass.”

The sentencing in federal court in Manhattan capped a startling fall for Mr. Cohen, 52, who had once hoped to work by Mr. Trump’s side in the White House but ended up a central figure in the inquiry into payments to an adult-film star and a former Playboy model before the 2016 election.

Michael Cohen Sues the Trump Organization

By CNN. President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, sued the Trump Organization on Thursday, saying that after Cohen began cooperating with federal investigators, the company failed to fulfill its contractual obligations to indemnify him or pay his legal bills relating to his work for the firm.

Cohen — an executive at the Trump Organization until early 2017, when he left that post to work as Trump’s personal attorney — alleged in the lawsuit the company is obligated to pay both his legal bills, which now total at least $1.9 million, and another $1.9 million he owes as part of a criminal sentence he received late last year. One of Donald Trump’s most vociferous champions has turned on the president, accusing him of cosying up to corporate CEOs who are trying to “destroy him and his policies.”

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs was critical of the meeting Trump held on Wednesday with the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, comprising of business big hitters like Apple chief Tim Cook and the head of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Tom Donohue.

The board is chaired by Trump’s daughter Ivanka and commerce secretary Wilbur Ross and is focused on issues like lowering unemployment and preparing for the shift toward automation and artificial intelligence in the workplace. . .

“In what should have been a reminder to the president’s counselors that in politics as in life it is important to never forget who your friends are,” Dobbs said.
