Woods seized on a book from New York Times political reporter Amy Chozick on Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential aspirations to blow the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee out of the water as convincingly as President Donald Trump did on the night of the election.
Clinton was quoted in the new book, “Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling,” lamenting election night that “they were never going to let me be president.” . . .
“Your corruption was not a flesh wound, but a systemic rot of your entire being. YOU were never going to let you be president, because you are a greedy, lying grifter. You weren’t born a Clinton, but you took to being one like a duck to swamp water,” Woods tweeted, linking to a Fox News article on the book.

By Conservative Tribune. It is indisputable that much of Hollywood and the mainstream media hold a veritable hatred for President Donald Trump and would like nothing better than to see him promptly removed from office, in any manner necessary.
While such talk usually centers around impeachment or prosecution for alleged crimes, there is also the once-taboo topic of assassination that has increasingly been given attention by the left.
According to Breitbart, the potential assassination of Trump appeared as a focal point and “joke” within a recent episode of “The Good Fight,” which is available only to online subscribers of CBS All Access and stars actress Christine Baranski as a Trump-hating attorney named Diane Lockhart.
In the episode titled “Day 457,” Lockhart was seen in court defending a close friend named Tully Nelson — played by actor Tim Matheson — who had been arrested and charged after he was at a protest that turned into a violent riot.
While waiting to be called before the judge, Nelson tells Lockhart, “I think I’m f—ed. This guy’s a Trump appointee.” (Read more from “CBS Shamelessly Runs Program on the Inevitable Assassination of Trump” HERE)

By Breitbart. . . .Sunday’s episode, “Day 457,” follows Trump-hating attorney Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) defending her friend Tully Nelson (Tim Matheson), who was charged after a riot turned violent. In court, Tully tells Diane of the judge hearing his case, “I think I’m f***ed. This guy’s a Trump appointee.”
“Alright, just follow my lead and don’t say anything radical,” Diane pleads.
“Oh, like we need to assassinate the President?” responds Tully, in a clip via MRC . . .
“Tell me what you said in court was a joke,” Diane demands.
“Why? You don’t believe in regime change?” Tully responds.

By Conservative Tribune. There has been much discussion in recent years about the crisis of opioid abuse, and while there is broad agreement that “something must be done,” there are innocent victims of a crackdown on opioid drugs that often go unnoticed.
According to the Cato Institute, those overlooked victims are hospitalized patients recovering from accidents or surgeries who are in serious pain, but are unable to receive necessary doses of powerful painkillers to ease their suffering.
Rather than being administered proper doses of opioid drugs, these patients are instead being treated with less effective drugs like acetaminophin, muscle relaxers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, similar to what one could obtain over the counter at a local drug store.
In other words, while these people are wracked with excruciating pain and legitimately require the powerful opioid drugs to ease their pain, they are instead left suffering in a literal “hell on earth” due to government intrusion into the pharmaceutical market . . .
Making matters worse, the DEA’s cuts are fairly misguided, as the real problem of the “opioid crisis” isn’t the drugs themselves, but the results of an addiction to opioids. (Read more from “Gov’t Move to Stop Opioid Abuse Backfires in Horrifying Way… Hell on Earth” HERE)
Why Some Opioids Users Don’t Fear a Fatal Overdose
By U.S. News. A couple years ago, when local news agencies reported a spike in overdose deaths related to fentanyl in St. Paul, Minnesota, clinicians at an outpatient treatment clinic in that city saw an immediate effect.
“A dozen of our patients disappeared,” says Dr. Marvin Seppala, chief medical officer of the Minnesota-based Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. “They’d been in treatment from six weeks to two years and were sober.” The patients dropped out of the program to try fentanyl, a synthetic opiate painkiller that was new to the area. “Nobody in their right mind would want to get near fentanyl, which is 50 to 100 times more powerful than morphine and up to 50 times stronger than heroin,” he says. “Our patients heard about fentanyl and thought, ‘I want to try that.’ They wanted to recapture the euphoric high they hadn’t felt since they’d started using.”
Luckily, Seppala says, none of these patients died during their relapses. Still, the anecdote helps explain why the deadly opioid epidemic is getting worse; the grim fact is that some people with opioid use disorder are drawn to substances they know might kill them – and not because they’re suicidal. The pull helps explain the growing death toll the opioid crisis is exacting. Every day, more than 115 people in the United States die of an opioid overdose, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. More than 64,000 people died of drug overdose in the U.S. in 2016, and the lion’s share of those fatalities – more than 42,000 – involved opioids, a record number, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Opioid overdoses in recent years have claimed the lives of acclaimed actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and the musicians Prince and Tom Petty. Opioids include heroin and prescription medications such as hyrdrocodone, oxycodone, oxymorphone, morphine, codeine and fentanyl. Lately, authorities have seen carfentanil – which is typically used to tranquilize elephants and other large animals – show up on the street. Carfentanil is about 100 times more potent than fentanyl and 10,000 times stronger than morphine, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The grim fact is that for many people with opioid use disorder, the lethality of a particular batch of drugs isn’t a deterrent – it’s an attraction, says Howard Samuels, chief executive officer of The Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles. Samuels, 60, speaks from experience: He’s been in recovery from heroin addiction for more than 30 years.
“When I was on the streets of New York, when we heard a brand of heroin was causing people to overdose and killing them, we wanted that brand of heroin so badly,” Samuels says. “We thought the people who were dying didn’t know how to shoot it [properly]. I thought [overdosing] won’t happen to me.” This mindset is illogical, but it makes sense to someone struggling with substance use disorder, because denial is a hallmark of addiction, Samuels says. “It’s all about denial and rationalization,” he says. “I was shooting heroin and thought I was still in control. It was absolutely crazy.” (Read more from “Why Some Opioids Users Don’t Fear a Fatal Overdose” HERE)
On Friday, Parkland survivor Kyle Kashuv went to the gun range to learn to fire a gun for the first time, alongside his father. He tweeted this:
It was great learning about our inalienable right of #2A and how to properly use a gun. This was my first time ever touching a gun and it made me appreciate the #Constitution even more. My instructor was very informative; I learnt a lot. #2A is important and we need 2 preserve 2A pic.twitter.com/4rcOZbpl88
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." pic.twitter.com/mfVRATZ4DT
Kashuv was quickly called out for visiting a gun range and posting about it by a variety of other students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. But that wasn’t the end of the story. When Kyle went to school today, his principal informed him that other students had been upset by his posts, but that he hadn’t done anything wrong. But according to Kyle, in the middle of the morning, events took a different turn:
Near the end of third period, my teacher got a call from the office saying I need to go down and see a Mr. Greenleaf. I didn’t know Mr. Greenleaf, but it turned out that he was an armed school resource officer. I went down and found him, and he escorted me to his office. Then a second security officer walked in and sat behind me. Both began questioning me intensely. First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude.

“No official intelligence” was used to launch the FBI’s investigation into allegations of collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia, according to the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes of California.
The congressman said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday it’s also now known that longtime Bill and Hillary Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal and others were “pushing information into the State Department.” . . .
The House intel panel’s probe, Nunes said, is now focused on “major irregularities” regarding how the FBI found out about a meeting Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos had with Russian nationals, which played a major role in prompting the FBI’s Russia probe.
Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the ranking member of the committee, dismissed Nunes’ comments as a further attempt to divert attention from Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into alleged Trump-Russia collusion.
Schiff told Fox News in a statement the Republican majority “seems to believe that if it can discredit the initiation of the investigation by attacking the FBI, Justice Department and State Department, it can get the public to ignore the growing body of evidence of illicit contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” (Read more from “Nunes Just Uncovered Something Huge About the Russia Investigation” HERE)

By WND. Liberty Counsel, which defends religious and civil rights, Friday warned that the state of California effectively is about to ban the sale of Bibles.
A bill in the legislature, approved 50-18 in an Assembly vote this week, would forbid counselors from telling a gender-confused male client that he is actually a man. . .
The bill declares “advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual” is fraudulent business practice.
“If approved, victims of sexual abuse can no longer get counseling if they develop (as often happens) unwanted urges to engage in same-sex behavior or become gender confused,” Liberty Counsel said.
“This bill would also make it unlawful for any person to sell books, including the Bible, counseling services, or anything else that directs people to trust in Jesus Christ to help them overcome unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion.” (Read more from “Warning: State About to Ban Bible Sales” HERE)
By The Baptist Press. China is purportedly the largest publisher of Bibles in the world, but the communist nation has now apparently blocked online Bible purchases for its residents.
Beginning last week, searches for Bibles at leading online retailers in China came up empty, according to reports from The New York Times and CNN.
The reports indicate certain Bible studies or illustrated storybooks were available through searches. Two merchants told CNN the Bible could be purchased through private messages, but public listings were now “impossible.”
China has historically restricted in-person Bible sales to state-sponsored channels and government-run churches, but online sales presented a loophole of sorts for Christians within the growing underground church movement.
That loophole has now apparently been closed as part of increased religious freedom restrictions — particularly against Christians. (Read more from “China Banning Online Bible Sales ‘Absurd'” HERE)

Here’s the Nunes Fox News interview from 4/22/17 regarding the Comey memos and the possibility that Hillary Clinton was responsible for the illegal investigation of Trump. Also note, Comey NEVER wrote memos regarding his interaction with President Obama or other officials. Seems this was all part of the ongoing treasonous coup effort against Trump:
By The Blaze. The memos that James Comey wrote to document his interactions with President Trump were delivered to Congress on Thursday, and promptly leaked to the Associated Press, which posted them online . . .
The Department of Justice made the Comey memos available to Congress on Thursday at the request of the House Judiciary, Oversight and Intelligence Committees . . .
In one of the memos, Comey related details from a dinner with the president in late January 2017, and writes that he told Trump, “I don’t do sneaky things, I don’t leak.”
Fox News’ Ed Henry pointed out the coincidence of Comey’s comments being revealed on the same day that former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe was referred by the Department of Justice inspector general to the Attorney General for possible criminal prosecution for lying about leaking to the press.
The Associated Press social media account posted some excerpts from the memos, including a salacious quote allegedly from Putin told to quote.
BREAKING: Comey memo: Trump said Vladimir Putin told him, 'We have some of the most beautiful hookers in the world'
By The Daily Caller. The documents detail various conversations he allegedly had with President Donald Trump.
Comey has said he authored the memos in order to aid his memory of various meetings with the president. On Thursday, the classified memos were sent to Congress and subsequently leaked to the press. There are several memos dating from early January to April of 2017, including Comey’s first meeting with Trump to phone calls they had in March of that year.
According to one memo, President Trump told Comey that he had “serious reservations” about the “judgment” of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Flynn would later plead guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations he had with a Russian ambassador.
BREAKING: Memo: Trump told Comey he had "serious reservations about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's judgment.
During a phone conversation with the president on March 30, Comey and Trump allegedly discussed the Russia investigation and Trump urged Comey to tell the public that he wasn’t under investigation.
“I told him I would see what we could do and we would do the work well and as quickly as we could,” Comey wrote. (Read more from “Comey Memos Leaked — Here’s What They Say” HERE)
Comey’s Memos Indicate Dossier Briefing of Trump Was a Setup
By The Federalist. Newly released memos written by former FBI director James Comey indicate that an early 2017 briefing for then-President-elect Donald Trump about the contents of an infamous dossier was held so it could be leaked to media outlets eager to report on the dossier’s allegations. In multiple memos, Comey specifically mentioned that CNN had the dossier and wanted a “news hook” that would enable the network to report on its most salacious allegations even though they had not been verified.
“I said the Russians allegedly had tapes involving him and prostitutes at the Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow from about 2013,” Comey wrote of his conversation with Trump in a classified memo that was released in redacted form late Thursday. “I said I wasn’t saying this was true, only that I wanted him to know both that it had been reported and that the reports were in many hands.”
No media organizations had reported the allegations at the time Comey briefed Trump.
“I said media like CNN had them and were looking for a news hook,” Comey added in his memo about the briefing with Trump on January 6, 2017.
In another classified memo written on January 28, 2017, Comey wrote that in a separate meeting Trump mentioned the allegation about the alleged tape of prostitutes at a hotel and called it “fake news.” (Read more from “Comey’s Memos Indicate Dossier Briefing of Trump Was a Setup” HERE)

Three men were asleep inside their Glen St. Mary, Fla., mobile home when five young intruders claiming to be police broke down the front door at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, News 4 Jax reports.
The first intruder wore a mask and shouted, “Sheriff’s office!” from outside the trailer before breaking the front door down and shooting a single round.
Upon hearing the break-in, two of the three men staying in the mobile home — one armed with an AR–15 and another with a handgun — confronted the criminals with open fire in self-defense.
The armed victims shot about 30 rounds, killing the gunman who wore a mask — Corey Lauramore — and wounding two others — William Lauramore and an unidentified 16-year-old.

The intruders’ group was made up of a total of seven young men, even though only five entered the house, including Corey Lauamore, 18; William Lauramore, 24; Joseph Albino, 24; Zachary Bell, 20; Christian Watkins, 19; Cayden Lauramore, 15; and a 16-year-old male. By The Daily Wire. On Wednesday, the Fresno State professor who bragged on social media that she couldn’t be fired because she is tenured got a harsh reality check from Fresno State’s Chief Academic Officer (CAO).
During a press conference that was held to address professor Randa Jarrar’s offensive tweets, CAO Dr. Lynnette Zelezny said that tenured employees are not exempt from firing . . .
Clarifying her answer, Zelezny said, “You can be fired. There are certain processes that we have to follow but there are certainly situations where a tenured faculty person can be fired.”
Following the backlash she received online, Jarrar locked her Twitter account and wrote that she is “currently on leave from Fresno State.” (Read more from “Fresno State Professor Who Bragged She Couldn’t Be Fired Gets Reality Check” HERE)

Fresno State: Tenure Doesn’t Necessarily Protect Professor Who Tweeted About Barbara Bush
By The Fresno Bee. All options are on the table in dealing with the Fresno State professor who called Barbara Bush “an amazing racist” shortly after Bush died at age 92, university President Joseph Castro said Wednesday.
“A professor with tenure does not have blanket protection to say and do what they wish,” he said. “We are all held accountable for our actions.”
Castro declined to comment specifically on how the university may handle Randa Jarrar’s case, citing personnel matters. But he did say the next steps for the university include reviewing all the facts, as well as the faculty’s collective bargaining agreement.
Within an hour after the official announcement that Mrs. Bush died Tuesday at the age of 92., Jarrar took to social media to call the former first lady an “amazing racist” who raised a “war criminal.” Jarrar also expressed no concern that she could be fired or reprimanded for her outspokenness.

By NY Daily News. An Ohio councilman apologized to the family of a teen, who died in a van after calling 911 twice pleading for help, for making insensitive comments during a council meeting.
Cincinnati City Councilman Wendell Young told Kyle Plush’s family members at the meeting Tuesday that “There’s no amount of money that’s going to make you happy.”
“It’s not about the money,” Ron Plush, Kyle’s father, shouted at Young.
“This was the most insensitive thing I’ve ever heard,” said another family fired back. “I’m sorry, you’ve crossed the line.”
The Plush family then stormed out of the meeting as Young continued speaking. (Read more from “Dem Councilman Tells Mourning Family of Dead Teen What?” HERE)
Wendell Young Apologizes to Kyle Plush’s Family, Tells Mayor Not to Lecture Him
By The Enquirer. Cincinnati City Councilman Wendell Young apologized Wednesday for comments that outraged the family of a teenager who died despite two desperate calls to 911.
Relatives of Kyle Plush stormed out of City Council chambers Tuesday near the end of a six-hour council committee meeting after Young suggested that police officers, 911 operators and other city officials had most likely done the best they could to help Kyle.
Young said the family, which has pressed the city to investigate what went wrong, would get no benefit from “finger pointing” or “witch hunting.” . . .
On Wednesday, Young told The Enquirer and again said during the City Council meeting that he didn’t mean to offend anyone, especially the grieving family.
“I never meant to hurt their feelings. I am sincerely sorry about that,” Young said before the meeting. “I feel bad about what happened. They’re upset, legitimately so with me. I’m sorry about that.” (Read more from “Wendell Young Apologizes to Kyle Plush’s Family, Tells Mayor Not to Lecture Him” HERE)
