Hegseth Signs Memo Ordering Return To ‘Sex-Neutral Standards’ In The Military

By The Federalist. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth signed a memo on Sunday ordering the return of “sex-neutral standards” for military combat roles.

“We need to have the same standards, male or female, in our combat roles to ensure our men and women who are under our leaders or in those formations, have the best possible leaders and the highest possible standards that are not based at all on your sex,” Hegseth said.

According to a copy of the directive obtained by The Federalist, Hegseth has instructed the secretaries of America’s military departments to “develop comprehensive plans to distinguish combat arms occupations from non-combat arms occupations.” These plans, as specified by the defense secretary, must also “identify which positions require heightened entry-level and sustained physical fitness” for “certain combat arms roles.”

“These roles, which are critical to our military’s mission success, demand exceptional physical capabilities, and the standards for them must reflect that rigor,” Hegseth wrote.

The plans to be developed by the military departments must address “Ground Combat Operations,” “Special Operations Forces (SOF) Occupations,” and “Specialized Occupations,” according to the directive. Hegseth Orders Same Physical Requirements for Men, Women in Combat Roles, Says U.S. ‘Allowed Standards to Slip’

By New York Post. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a memo Monday ordering men and women to meet the same physical fitness requirements if they want to serve in combat roles, saying the Pentagon had “allowed standards to slip.”

“Different standards for men and women in combat arms, MOS and jobs, that’s not acceptable,” Hegseth said in a video posted to X, using the abbreviation for “military occupational specialty,” or job type.

“We have to have the same standard — male or female — in our combat roles to ensure our men and women who are under our leaders, or in those formations, have the best possible leaders and the highest possible standards that are not based at all on your sex.”

The memo, which orders the military branches to “develop comprehensive plans to distinguish combat arms occupations from non-combat arms occupations,” specifies in hand-underlined text that the soon-to-be-developed standards must not “result in any existing service member being held to a lower standard.”

“All entry-level and sustained physical fitness requirements within combat arms positions must be sex-neutral, based solely on the operational demands of the occupation and the readiness needed to confront any adversary,” Hegseth wrote. CEO Facing Lawsuit Says He’ll Be Dragged to Jail Before Taking Down Store’s American Flag

The CEO of Camping World, a national RV dealer with stores in 200-plus locations, is facing a lawsuit by another city over its massive American flag that waves outside a dealership.

City leaders in Greenville, N.C., voted 4-2 last week to initiate legal action to take down the American flag at a Camping World dealership. The vote came amid another lawsuit filed by the city of Sevierville, Tennessee.

“Not when they sue, not when I lose, not if they take me to jail, the flag is not coming down,” Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis said last week after the city council in Greenville, North Carolina, voted to authorize the filing of civil action against the company, WITN reported. “While I respect the city council’s position and while I understand they have the right to sue me, and they’re going to and I understand I have the right to defend myself, the flag is never coming down.”

“They need to sue me, not the business, because I put the flags up everywhere,” he added.

The Greenville City Council said the flag is nearly the size of a basketball court at 3,200 square feet. It flies on a pole that stands 130 feet tall, almost double the size of what is currently allowed. You’ll Never Believe Why a Toddler Was Kicked Out of Nursery School

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how new parents in New Jersey were forced to fill out a form about whether or not their hours-old infant was gay, straight, transgender, genderqueer, etc. I didn’t think I would find a story to top that, but this one out of the United Kingdom comes close.

What are some reasons kids typically get kicked out of preschool or daycare? I worked at one while I was in high school and college, and the two main reasons I remember were either behavior problems or health risks. There was this little boy who loved to bite anyone he could put his little mouth on, and while he didn’t get kicked out per se, his parents did get a lot of warnings. There was another incident in which we had a little boy who ran a high fever and cried constantly, and his mother got to a point where she didn’t really want to do anything about it because we were disrupting her job. Don’t get me started on that lady…

However, I don’t remember “transphobia” being a reason, though this was back in the early 2000s when we were all still a little sane. But that’s the case for a nursery school student in the U.K. — we’re talking a kid between the ages of three and four.

The U.K.’s Department for Education (DfE) keeps data on why students are removed from government schools, and it looks like homophobia and transphobia were added to the list of potential reasons during the 2020-21 academic year. That data reveals that during the 2022-2023 school year, one child in that age range was removed for “abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity.”

Does a three-year-old even know what sexual orientation is? And isn’t that the beauty of the innocence of being three years old? You’re more likely to hate someone because they won’t let you have a cookie than you are because they feel the need to tell you their pronouns. Trump, DOGE, American People Win Big, Activist Judges Take the ‘L’

Another major win just dropped—and this one’s a direct hit against activist judges trying to play lawmaker from the bench and a huge victory for DOGE.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a stay on a lower court’s activist ruling that tried to block Elon Musk and others from exposing corruption inside USAID. So, what does this mean? Well, it’s was a very big “not so fast” to judicial overreach—and a solid victory for President Trump’s DOGE plan and mostly the American people who deserve a country free from fraud and bloat. . .

This latest decision is more than just a legal technicality—it’s a total slapdown of the radical activist bench that’s been running wild, inserting progressive politics where law and order should rule. The Fourth Circuit didn’t dance around the issue. They got straight to the heart of the problem: these lower court judges are assuming powers they don’t have and stepping way outside the limits of Article III.

6 Unbelievably Scammy Federal Practices DOGE Staff Reveal In Fox Interview

On Thursday evening, Elon Musk and some of his Department of Government Efficiency team sat for an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on “Special Report.” The nerd dream team includes a former rocket scientist, a Houstonian who ran five successful businesses, and the billionaire co-founder of Airbnb.

Musk said he thinks the team can cut the federal deficit by $1 trillion within 130 days. He and the other DOGE engineers gave some eye-popping examples of how scam-ridden federal programs have become. . .

Musk told Baier the federal government was paying nearly $1 billion for an online national parks survey that resulted in no changes or other outcomes as a result of giving the survey. He said the survey should have cost $10,000.

‘The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government. It is astonishing,” Musk said, noting that his team “routinely” finds billion-dollar wasteful payments.

DOGE’s Steve Davis told Baier that more than 15 million Social Security numbers are older than 120 yet marked in the system as “alive.” The oldest living American is 114, Musk noted — meaning those 15 million Social Security numbers are used for fraud. Revealed: J6 Prosecutors’ Dirty Secrets

President Donald Trump delivered on his promise, granting clemency to hundreds of January 6 prisoners and defendants via an executive order on Day One of his new administration, offering survivors of Biden’s weaponized Justice Department a second chance.

But for Proud Boys leaders – Marine Corps veteran Zachary Rehl, decorated Army veteran Joseph Biggs and Marine Corps veteran Dominic Pezzola – the fight for justice continues.

With their sentences commuted to time served, but not being fully pardoned like all the others, these men remain branded insurrectionists and even terrorists, saddled with nearly a dozen felony convictions each.

In bombshell court filings awaiting U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly’s ruling, the trio alleges federal prosecutors and the FBI broke laws to frame them with “seditious conspiracy” during their six-month trial.

Their attorney, Roger Roots, claims the Biden-led government knew the Proud Boys had no plan to “overthrow the U.S.” on Jan. 6, 2021, yet it orchestrated an informant-driven entrapment operation to “impose a one-party, slave-plantation-style government wherein political dissidents would be jailed, tormented and silenced” with wrongful convictions for merely trespassing while walking through the U.S. Capitol building. Karen Bass’ Destroyed Text Messages Have Miraculously Reappeared

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is still reeling from the massive wildfires that engulfed the county in January. It’s likely going to be labeled the costliest natural disaster in American history, with damage estimates ranging from $164-250-plus billion. Ms. Bass was not in Los Angeles when the fires broke out on January 7. She wasn’t even in the United States. The mayor was partying in Ghana, celebrating the president’s inauguration, which hardly seems appropriate, especially since this trip was taxpayer-funded. Bass promised she’d never leave the country during her time in the mayor’s office.

She claims to have been in contact with those on the ground as she traveled back to Los Angeles, but a record of that was initially missing. Text messages were reported to have been deleted, with aides saying Bass’ phone was not set to save text messages. That narrative—that she was hands-on with those on the ground—seemed to have imploded. It also sparked further controversy about whether the mayor violated public records laws. . .

Well, those destroyed communications have risen like a phoenix rising from the ashes (via NBC LA):

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass exchanged text messages during the early hours of the Palisades Fire that showed she struggled to communicate with her staff as she returned from a trip to Ghana.

The messages, released by the Mayor’s office in response to a California Public Records Act request, help to illustrate how she managed the city’s fire response remotely, while she was on board several flights after attending the inauguration of Ghana’s new president as part of a U.S. delegation.

On Jan. 7 at 11:20 p.m., the mayor texted her team after failing to connect on a conference call with the general managers of city departments. The Palisades Fire had started hours earlier at around 10:30 a.m. and was fanned by strong Santa Ana wind gusts to eventually become the third most destructive wildfire on record in California

“I’m listening. Don’t know why you can’t hear me,” Bass messaged.

In response, one of her staffers said they could not hear her on their end.

How Kamala Responded When Her Team Told Her There Was No Way She Could Beat Trump

We know how Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly reacted when she was told that she wouldn’t be the next president of the United States. It’s part of a new book written by Vanity Fair’s Chris Whipple in Uncharted, which details the former vice president’s ascendency to the top of the ticket via an internal coup to her brutal crash on Election Day, where voters told her and the Democrats, they weren’t interested in them continuing this insane agenda that had destroyed the country.

Excerpts were published, and it’s a little interesting how this campaign came together on the kitchen table at Naval One Observatory. Harris had top talent from the Obama operation. Still, not even they, with their exceptional political acumen, could save this woman who was flat-out unqualified and unprepared to be president. Everything seemed to be a struggle for her; Harris was ahead of her skis, but the deed was done. The open primary option that Barack Obama had hoped for quickly died, as Joe Biden endorsed Harris shortly after he stepped down from the 2024 ticket. Was it revenge for the ouster? Who knows, but every call Harris made to the top Democrats didn’t make opposition overtures; she wouldn’t face a primary challenge. The Democrats wanted to avoid a coronation but chose one anyway.

It ended up being a $2 billion-plus boondoggle. What kills me is this feeling of elation on election night. Was drug use rampant, or was this crew so deep in the bubble that reason got squeezed out of this atmosphere? I think it’s the latter. There also appears to be a defined split between the on-air talent and the pollsters, the latter of which thought the former was insane for saying they were winning the race. Reality slammed into Harris when campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon told her that she was going to lose the blue wall states (via Vanity Fair):

Though Harris was behind in the battleground states, her spokespeople were oddly upbeat. Appearing on MSNBC back on October 27, campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon had declared, “We are very confident we’re going to win this thing.” On Friday, November 1, senior adviser David Plouffe posted on X that late-breaking undecided voters were going for Harris by more than 10 points.

A campaign has a gravitational pull, and chief of staff [Lorraine] Voles was feeling it. “You get sucked into the momentum,” she said. “Like you believe it. I’ve been on winning ones and losing ones, and this felt more like [Bill] Clinton’s [in 1992] than [Michael] Dukakis’s [in 1988].” Voles wasn’t talking poll numbers or analytics, but intangibles. “The rallies were so big and so enthusiastic. People were lining the streets.” But Harris’s pollsters didn’t share the kumbaya cohesion. One ex-Biden campaign official couldn’t understand all the heady talk. “They still had consistent polling results that showed her down by two in every state,” she said, “and Trump always overperforms. How the hell were they going to make that up?”

Trump Cuts off CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Before She Can Ask Question During Press Briefing: ‘Excuse Me, I Didn’t Pick You’

By New York Post. President Donald Trump abruptly shut down CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during a press briefing on Tuesday when she tried to raise questions about the controversial “Signal” messaging incident involving top administration officials.

During a meeting with ambassadors at the White House, the frequent Trump nemesis attempted to pepper the president with a question.

“Mr. President, you said that your national security learned a lesson after a reporter …,” Collins began.

Before she could complete her sentence, Trump interrupted, saying sharply: “Excuse me, I didn’t pick you.”

He then pointed to another reporter in the gallery and said, “Go ahead.”

The Signal controversy emerged after The Atlantic revealed that Jeffrey Goldberg, its editor-in-chief, was mistakenly added to a secret group chat where high-ranking Trump administration members discussed an upcoming military strike against Yemen’s Houthi rebels. National security adviser takes ‘full responsibility’ for ‘embarrassing’ Signal leak — but still rips ‘vile’ Atlantic editor

By New York Post. National security adviser Mike Waltz accepted “full responsibility” Tuesday for accidentally including Atlantic magazine’s editor-in-chief in a Signal chat group where discussions about military strikes against the Houthis in Yemen took place.

“Well, look, a staffer wasn’t responsible,” Waltz told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in his first media interview since the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg revealed that he was privy to the Trump administration’s internal deliberations and planning of March 15 airstrikes after being added to text chain on the encrypted Signal app by the national security adviser.

“Look, I take full responsibility,” Waltz added. “I built the group. My job is to make sure everything’s coordinated.”

When pressed by “The Ingraham Angle” host on why Goldberg’s number was on his phone to begin with, the White House official claimed he didn’t know. (Read more from “National security adviser takes ‘full responsibility’ for ‘embarrassing’ Signal leak — but still rips ‘vile’ Atlantic editor” HERE)

Woman Learns Hard Lesson After Attacking Man Wearing MAGA Hat

Bystander video of a woman launching into a MAGA hat wearer, literally, in the New York City subway has gone viral.

The unidentified woman is caught on camera calling the man wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat a “racist.”

“If you f—-ing voted for Trump, you’re a racist!” she shouts in the video while pointing at the passenger wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. “He’s a racist!” she added.

“How can I be racist?” asked the man in response, turning to his friend in the subway car. . .

Once the train reaches its stop, the man runs out of the subway car as the woman gives chase, seeking to remove his MAGA hat. But in her attempt to snatch the hat off his head with one big leap, the woman falls flat on her face as the man runs away.
