Musk Rips ‘Fraudulent’ Taxpayer Handouts as DOGE Team Uncovers Shady Financial Secrets

Tech billionaire Elon Musk ripped alleged “fraudulent” Treasury payments on Saturday as reports circulated that the Department of Government Efficiency has gained acces to the federal government’s payment system as the second Trump administration continues cutting what they say is government fat and overspending.

“The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once,” Musk, the chair of DOGE, posted early Saturday morning to X.

Musk’s post came just ahead of the New York Times reporting Saturday afternoon that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent granted DOGE personnel access to the payment system. The Treasury spends roughly $6 trillion per year on payments for federal agencies.

The ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden, posted to social media on Saturday that he has also been informed that DOGE was granted access to the system.

“Sources tell my office that Treasury Secretary Bessent has granted DOGE *full* access to this system. Social Security and Medicare benefits, grants, payments to government contractors, including those that compete directly with Musk’s own companies. All of it,” Wyden posted to social media site BlueSky on Saturday evening. (Read more from “Musk Rips ‘Fraudulent’ Taxpayer Handouts as DOGE Team Uncovers Shady Financial Secrets” HERE)

97% of Political Contributions From USAID Employees Went to Dems

Political contributions from employees at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) went almost entirely to Democrats, according to a Daily Wire analysis.

In the 2024 election cycle, USAID staff made a total of $406,790 in political contributions, according to data collected on OpenSecrets. More than half of that, $241,079, went to the former Vice President Kamala Harris. Only $999 — a quarter of a percent — went to President Donald Trump.

In all, just over $377,000, or 97%, went to Democrats, while just $12,704 went to Republicans. Open Secrets tracked all political donations of USAID employees to PACs and candidates over $200 via data from the Federal Election Commission.

These numbers highlight the political bias Trump and his team have said they need to root out from USAID. Trump on Monday said that the agency and its $50 billion annual budget were run by “radical left lunatics” who “went crazy during the Biden administration” and were giving money “to people that shouldn’t be getting” it. Elon Musk, who has been tasked with slashing federal waste through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said the agency was “beyond repair.” (Read more from “97% of Political Contributions From USAID Employees Went to Dems” HERE)

‘Drop Christianity and Embrace the Occult’: State Caught Pushing Anti-Christ Beliefs on Children

The state of California has been caught pushing occult religions on children, with counseling to consider “Tarot and Tidings,” your own “high priestess,” and situations “where your magic grows,” according to a report at Harbingers Daily.

It is the Department of Healthcare Services in California that pays for and promotes to children a website called Soluna. . .

It calls itself, “your space to destress, bounce back, and reset. Completely free and confidential for California teens and young adults.”

And it offers one-on-one counseling: “Connect with a trained Soluna Coach whenever you need someone in your corner. Whether you’re looking to talk right now or want to schedule ahead, our coaches are here for you. No insurance needed, no session limits, and absolutely free – just open, judgment-free support on your terms.”

But the report explains how the app “advises teens to drop Christianity and embrace the occult.” (Read more from “‘Drop Christianity and Embrace the Occult’: State Caught Pushing Anti-Christ Beliefs on Children” HERE)

Unbelievable: Guess What an Illegal Alien Accused of Murder Was Wearing During the Crime

. . .[A] 63-year-old man was brutally murdered and robbed in Chicago slightly over a week ago. The two suspects apprehended in the case are both illegal immigrants who reportedly crossed the Southern border unlawfully in 2023. The victim’s “body was found tied up at his home in Chicago late Sunday, the same day U.S. border czar Tom Homan and the Justice Department led a large immigration enforcement operation in that city,” Fox News reports. Those raids, which didn’t occur in time to save the man who was murdered, have been condemned, demonized and resisted by the mayor and other top Democrats in Illinois. One of arrested migrants was not only known to police prior to allegedly committing this brutal killing, but had been arrested days prior:

A 21-year-old man who was arrested in Norwood Park on Jan. 12 in connection with a reported child luring incident is now facing charges in the murder and robbery of a 63-year-old man who on Jan. 26 died in the basement of a relative’s home, also in Norwood Park on Chicago’s NW Side. A possible second suspect, who reportedly lives in Norwood Park, also is in custody for the murder of George Levin…he luring incident on Jan. 12 involved a man who reportedly called two girls, ages 12 and 13, over to his vehicle in the 6200 block of North Sayre Avenue, according to Chicago police. The man was arrested on suspicion of child luring, but the charge was reduced to simple assault, and he was released from custody the next day, police said.

Despite the arrest on suspicion of trying to lure two young girls into his car — which, as the story notes, was downgraded to a simple assault arrest — he was turned back onto the streets almost immediately. Chicago police were, of course, barred by “sanctuary” policies from involving the feds in the situation, actively protecting this illegal immigrant. Roughly two weeks later, the very same department was was pursing that very same illegal immigrant for murder. Both suspects have been charged with murder and robbery. I’ve heard that an ICE detainer was placed on that suspect over the luring arrest, but it was explicitly not honored, per Chicago’s pro-crime, pro-illegal immigration policies. It gets worse. Fox’s Matt Finn reveals more shocking details, starting with the very first bullet point here:

Bello (suspect) was wearing an ICE/DHS monitoring device on his ankle during alleged murder.

– Victim’s sister heard loud noises upstairs, checked-in & her brother’s alleged killer’s assured her brother is ok. After they left, she eventually breaks down brother’s door and “discovered him on the floor, cold to the touch, his hands wrapped together in duct tape, his feet tied together with an electrical cord, a sock stuffed in his mouth and securedin place with duct tape, and his pants down, exposing his genitals. Sister peeled away enough of the duct tape from the V’s mouth to remove the sock, called 911, and performed CPR while she waited for emergency responders to arrive. The victim sustained a hemorrhage to the neck, a subdural hemorrhage to the head, and rib fractures. The Medical Examiner discovered petechiae in the V’s eyes and cannot yet rule out asphyxiation.”

Female Helicopter Pilot’s Entire Social Media Scrubbed Before Army Releases Her Name

On Saturday, the U.S. Army released the name of the pilot of the U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter that flew into a passenger jet landing at Reagan National Airport.

The crash was on Wednesday. The third pilot’s name, Rebecca Lobach, was finally released on Saturday, three days later. . .

Kristinn Taylor at The Gateway Pundit reported:

After withholding at the request of the family the name of the female pilot killed in the mid-air collision Wednesday night between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a PSA/American Airlines passenger plane on final approach to Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., the Army issued a statement Saturday afternoon from her family identifying the pilot as 28-year-old Capt. Rebecca Lobach from Durham, N.C.

. . .

Lobach, who had over 450 hours of flying experience, recently served as a military social aide at the Biden White House.

It took the US Army and Rebecca’s family three days to scrub her social media accounts. They really don’t want the public to know anything about this female pilot.

UPDATE: Army Initially Refused to Identify Female Black Hawk Pilot Killed in DC Collision; Family Agreed to Release Her Name on Saturday

By New York Post. The Army is refusing to name the female pilot killed aboard the military helicopter that collided with a passenger jet flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday.

In an announcement Friday, the Army, which disclosed the names of the two other soldiers in the chopper who died, said the woman’s family requested her identity be withheld from the public.

“At the request of the family, the name of the third Soldier will not be released at this time,” the Army Public Affairs wrote on their website.

The unidentified soldier was an experienced pilot with more than 500 of flying experience, the Telegraph reported, citing Jonathan Koziol, chief of staff of the army’s aviation directorate.

The Army on Friday formally identified Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, as the two other service members who were on the Black Hawk helicopter when it went down in the fiery crash into the Potomac River. FAA’s Obama-Era ‘Biographical Questionnaire’ for DEI Faces New Scrutiny After DC Crash

By The Daily Signal. President Donald Trump on Thursday directed the Federal Aviation Administration to assess safety standards, including evaluating hiring practices, in the wake of the midair collision over Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday night. . .

“President Trump swiftly signed a memorandum directing an immediate assessment of the Federal Aviation Administration to ensure the federal government is maintaining the highest personnel and policy aviation-safety standards,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

As The Daily Signal previously reported, under President Barack Obama’s administration, the FAA scrapped a skills-based test and a certification program, and replaced it with a biographical questionnaire to attract more diverse applicants to become air traffic controllers. The FAA previously drew most candidates from the military and a group of 36 colleges that offer air traffic control programs.

“The Obama administration implemented a biographical questionnaire at the FAA to shift the hiring focus away from objective aptitude. During my first term, my administration raised standards to achieve the highest standards of safety and excellence,” the Trump memorandum says. “But the Biden administration egregiously rejected merit-based hiring, requiring all executive departments and agencies to implement dangerous ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ tactics, and specifically recruiting individuals with ‘severe intellectual’ disabilities in the FAA.”

The memorandum continues: “On my second day in office, I ordered an immediate return to merit-based recruitment, hiring, and promotion, elevating safety and ability as the paramount standard. [Wednesday’s] devastating accident tragically underscores the need to elevate safety and competence as the priority of the FAA.” (Read more from “FAA’s Obama-Era ‘Biographical Questionnaire’ for DEI Faces New Scrutiny After DC Crash” HERE)

Family Releases Name of Blackhawk Pilot

By Katherine Donlevy. The U.S. Army has identified the female soldier in the doomed Black Hawk helicopter that crashed into an American Airlines flight this week, killing 67 people.

Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, of Durham, North Carolina, was assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and had served since July 2019, the Army said in a statement.

The Army had initially refused to identify Lobach at the request of her family.

The decision to release her name came “at the request of and in coordination with the family,” according to the statement. (Read more about this story HERE)

The Family’s Statement Cites Pilot’s Work as Sexual Harassment Victim Advocate, Makes No Mention Deaths of the American Airlines Passengers Killed by Helicopter’s Collision with Jet

Unlike the statements issued by families of the two other soldiers killed in the Washington D.C. Blackhawk helicopter collision with the American Airlines jet, no mention was made in the Lobach family statement regarding the deaths of the jet’s 64 passengers:

We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Rebecca. She was a bright star in all our lives. She was kind, generous, brilliant, funny, ambitious and strong. No one dreamed bigger or worked harder to achieve her goals.

Rebecca began her career in the United States Army as a distinguished military graduate in ROTC at the University of North Carolina and was in the top 20% of cadets nationwide. She achieved the rank of Captain, having twice served as a Platoon Leader and as a Company Executive Officer in the 12th Aviation Battalion, Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. With more than 450 hours of flight time, she earned certification as a pilot-in-command after extensive testing by the most senior and experienced pilots in her battalion.

Rebecca was a warrior and would not hesitate to defend her country in battle. But she was as graceful as she was fierce: in addition to her duties as an Army aviator, Rebecca was honored to serve as a White House Military Social Aide, volunteering to support the President and First Lady in hosting countless White House events, including ceremonies awarding the Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Rebecca cared about people, and she extended to individuals the same fearless defense she gave to this nation. She was proud of the difference she made as a certified Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Victim Advocate and hoped to continue her education so she could serve this country as a physician when her time with the Army ended. She once said, “My experiences with SHARP have reinforced my resolve to serve others with compassion, understanding, and the resources necessary for healing.

Rebecca was many things. She was a daughter, sister, partner, and friend. She was a servant, a caregiver, an advocate. Most of all, she loved and was loved. Her life was short, but she made a difference in the lives of all who knew her. Our hearts break for the other families who have lost loved ones in this national tragedy and we mourn with them.

We request that you please respect our privacy as we grieve this devastating loss.

Pentagon Boots NBC, NPR, NYT, and Politico from Offices

The Department of Defense ordered a handful of news media outlets to vacate their offices inside the Pentagon so that they may be replaced by some conservative press organizations.

In a memo issued on Friday, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense John Ullyot said the Pentagon wanted to “broaden access to the limited space of the Correspondents Corridor to outlets that have not previously enjoyed the privilege and journalistic value of working from physical office space in the Pentagon.”

It was not clear what if any role Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth played in the decision.

The department’s “new Annual Media Rotation Program” will begin on Feb. 14, and will require The New York Times, NBC News, National Public Radio, and Politico to vacate “their physical office space effective” on that date. Trump Was Right: FAA Turned Away Qualified Controllers Over Race

On Thursday, while addressing Thursday’s plane crash near Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump blasted both the Obama and Biden administrations for prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation.

“I put safety first. Obama, Biden, and the Democrats put policy first, and they put politics at a level that nobody’s ever seen,” Trump told reporters in the White House briefing room. . .

“It’s one thing for internet pundits to spew up conspiracy theories,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said. “It’s another for the president of the United States of America to throw out idle speculation even as victims are still being recovered and families are still being notified. It turns your stomach.”

But Trump was not wrong.

In fact, concerns about the FAA’s DEI policies are not new. Critics have long argued that these policies have distracted from essential safety measures, particularly during a period marked by air traffic controller shortages, outdated equipment, and an increase in near misses. Reports indicate that the air traffic controller on duty during the incident was effectively managing the responsibilities of two people. Air Traffic Controller’s Reaction to D.C. Collision Revealed in Chilling Audio: ‘Crash, Crash, Crash, This Is an Alert Three’

Chilling audio from air traffic control captured the moment the flight safety agency reported the horrific midair collision between an American Airlines jet and a Black Hawk military helicopter.

On Wednesday night, American Airlines Flight 5342 collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter, exploding in a fiery impact as it approached Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC.

In a recording of air tower communications at the time of the horrific collision, captured by LiveATC.net, an aircraft can be heard calling the tower just seconds after the CRJ700 Bombardier jet carrying 64 passengers and crew got in touch.

Mark Zuckerberg Banned Tampons in Meta’s Male Bathrooms, Here’s What Happened Next

By Townhall. Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to remove tampons from Meta’s male restrooms has prompted employees to take matters into their own hands as Zuckerberg turns to the right side. In contrast, his employees are stuck in the hamster wheel of the left’s progressive policies.

Zuckerberg has made a concerted effort to mend ties with President Donald Trump, beginning with a face-to-face meeting at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and a $1 million donation to his inauguration fund. In the wake of that meeting, Zuckerberg rolled out a series of strategic shifts within Meta aimed at distancing the company from its previously entrenched left-leaning reputation. Meta Employees Take Matters Into Their Own Hands

By Christianna Silva. After tampons, liners, and pads were removed from men’s bathrooms earlier this month, they mysteriously reappeared — not through company policy, but through the quiet defiance of workers who brought in their own supplies. According to five anonymous sources cited by The New York Times, employees also circulated a petition calling for Meta to reinstate the amenities.

Meta, however, stood firm on its stance. The company reportedly responded it had “not been the intention of Meta leadership to make employees feel unwelcome or excluded in our offices, [but] at this point, we do not have plans to revisit our on-site amenities offerings.” Don’t worry, though — the feedback was shared with leadership.
