Adam Schiff Extends Olive Branch, Trump Asks if He Was ‘Hit With a Baseball Bat’

Sen. Adam Schiff of California wanted to play nice with President Donald Trump on his trip to survey the wildfire devastation in California.

Mr. Trump, however, wasn’t ready to bury the hatchet with the man he dubbed “Shifty Schiff” and “pencil neck.”

“I was told that Schiff was going to travel with us to California. I wasn’t thrilled, to be honest with you,” Mr. Trump told reporters Friday. “And I saw him last night on television. It looks like he got hit with a baseball bat or something. What happened to him?”

Mr. Trump also said the fire in California “could have been put out” if elected officials “let the water flow.”

“So I think we are going to have a very interesting time,” he said of the trip. (Read more from “Adam Schiff Extends Olive Branch, Trump Asks if He Was ‘Hit With a Baseball Bat’” HERE)

Mexico Refuses to Accept U.S. Deportation Flight as Trump’s Immigration Overhaul Gets Into Full Swing

Mexico refused to allow a plane carrying illegal migrants to land in the country on Thursday after President Trump dramatically beefed up security at the border and ordered mass raids and deportations since reclaiming the White House, according to military officials.

The deportation flight was blocked from leaving the US after two Air Force C-17 flights, each carrying about 80 deportees to Guatemala, successfully took off Thursday night, NBC reported, citing two defense officials and a third person familiar with the situation.

It was not immediately clear why Mexico blocked the plane, but tensions have flared between Trump and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum since he threatened to slap 25% tariffs on Mexican goods in response to migrants illegally crossing the border.

A White House official told the outlet via text message that “the flights thing was an administrative issue and was quickly rectified.”

The flight rejection appeared to be confusion over the Department of Defense flight manifest, according to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, who cited a senior State Department official. President Throws Down With California Democrat: ‘You Made It So Impossible’

President Donald Trump’s Friday night press conference in Pacific Palisades went off the rails after he went back and forth with Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) about state policy on forest management, water, FEMA, and private insurance companies.

Trump landed late Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, where he was greeted by Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom. Trump and Newsom have traded barbs publicly about this month’s deadly L.A. County wildfires.

While seated next to First Lady Melania Trump and one chair over from L.A. Mayor Karen Bass at Friday’s conference, Trump found another nemesis in Sherman.

The longtime House Democrat had already confronted Trump about making federal aid for devastated communities in the area conditional.

Megyn Kelly Rips Barack Obama for Posting ‘Least Attractive Photo’ of Wife Michelle on Her Birthday Amid Divorce Rumors: ‘She Looks Terrible’

. . .During the Thursday, January 23, episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the famed journalist shared her thoughts on rampant rumors about the former president and first lady potentially experiencing trouble in paradise after Michelle skipped out on Donald Trump ‘s inauguration earlier this week

“I do not know whether this is true at all,” Megyn admitted. “But if it is true, it truly would be a political earthquake in Democrat circles, never mind America.”

“I don’t remember a presidential divorce in modern history,” she noted.

Megyn proceeded to call out Barack, as she criticized the upload he shared for Michelle’s 61st birthday on Friday January 17.

“Some of you are married. Did you see the post he put out to celebrate for their anniversary? He chose the least attractive photo of her that’s ever been released,” the talk show host claimed. “I mean, this is just wrong. Michelle Obama can look very nice in a photograph. This ain’t it.”

‘Hannity Vanity!’ MAGA Fans Melt Down Over Fox News Host’s Behavior in New Trump Interview

. . .Hannity, usually a favorite among conservatives, was chided up and down on social media Thursday.

MAGA influencer @catturd2 posted , “Hannity loves to hear himself talk. Pathetic,” in response to a regional Trump campaign official’s complaint, “Why can’t Hannity just hush and stop interrupting? This character flaw aggravates me so much. Let @POTUS speak man!!!”

A poster described as a ” communications professional ” wrote, “Yeah, there’s a difference between being a talk show host on the radio where you’re the only person in the room and the role of an interviewer. He hasn’t figured that out yet. Kind of a shame given the access he has.”

Yet another poster wrote , “Hannity Vanity – That’s my President.. Let him speak.”

Hannity interrupted Trump several times to change the topic to the economy — an issue pundits agreed helped Trump win the election. But Trump wasn’t having it, causing Hannity to keep interrupting.

This Is President Trump’s Boldest Move So Far — Even Reagan Chickened Out on It

By now no one should be surprised at President Trump’s sweeping reversals of the conventional wisdom on everything from A (asylum) to W (wilderness access) — sorry, no executive orders affecting anything beginning with Z yet.

But in revoking President Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 Executive Order 11246 that launched our decades-long imposition of de facto racial quotas under the euphemism “affirmative action,” Trump has gone beyond the boldest imagination of any previous administration.

A brief history: When the Civil Rights Act of 1964’s Title VII — the clause banning racial discrimination in hiring — was debated in the Senate, opponents charged it would lead to racial quotas.

The Civil Rights Act’s floor manager, future Vice President Hubert Humphrey, denied the claim, saying, “If the senator can find in Title VII any language which provides that an employer will have to hire on the basis of percentage or quota related to color, race, religion or national origin, I will start eating the pages one after another because it is not in there.”

Humphrey lied, essentially. The civil-rights lobby was already planning for Johnson’s executive order that called for federal contractors to adopt “affirmative action” — that is, quotas by another name. Shocking New Twist in Biden Family Crime Drama Reveals Likely Reason Joe Pardoned Everybody

Joe Biden’s handlers didn’t pardon him—maybe by design. Perhaps, in the end, Joe, the man riddled with dementia, will be the fall guy for his entire criminal enterprise. And wouldn’t that be sweet justice?

The buzz about this possibility is gaining traction, thanks to a bombshell twist in the Biden crime family drama. A newly discovered bank account reveals over $240,000 in foreign money wired directly to Joe Biden, with no explanation. . .

So, did the handler’s know this new bank account was about to be exposed? That’s the question on everyone’s mind.

Will Biden ever face justice? After all, it’s obvious we’re dealing with the most corrupt president ever installed in the White House. (Read more from “Shocking New Twist in Biden Family Crime Drama Reveals Likely Reason Joe Pardoned Everybody” HERE)

All Federal Employees in DEI Roles to Be Placed on Paid Leave By Close of Business Today

Russia Sounds off on Trump’s Threat to Retake the Panama Canal

Russia’s foreign ministry has called on President Donald Trump to reaffirm the current international agreement surrounding the Panama Canal and to leave it in control of the nation of Panama.

Alexander Shchetinin, the director of Russia’s foreign ministry’s Latin American department, told Russian news outlet TASS that he expects Trump “will respect the current international legal regime” of the canal as laid out in two 1977 treaties between the U.S. and Panama.

The agreement relinquished American control over the canal by the year 2000 and guaranteed its neutrality.

Trump has railed against Panama since his sweeping election win in November, accusing the Central American country of letting China dominate the critical maritime trade route and leaving U.S. ships getting “ripped off” in the process. . .

“We expect that during the expected discussions between the leadership of Panama and President Trump on issues of control over the Panama Canal, which certainly falls within the sphere of their bilateral relations, the parties will respect the current international legal regime of this key waterway,” Shchetinin said. One Of DC’s Biggest Neocons Just Got Toppled — What Really Happened?

When Republican Ohio Rep. Mike Turner was unceremoniously ousted as Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) just ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, reports claimed that Trump had ordered Speaker Mike Johnson to orchestrate the shakeup. However, sources close to the decision-making process explained to the Daily Caller the real reasons behind Johnson giving Turner the boot.

In early January, Tablet Magazine published a piece that said Turner was boasting that he would be “taking over Trump’s IC [Intelligence Community]” by trying to get his staff director, Adam Howard, hired as the National Security Council’s senior director for intelligence. Tablet reported that Howard “is meant to be [Turner’s] instrument” in the position. Turner and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz both disputed the idea that Turner was influencing staffing decisions at the NSC.

“No one’s making personnel decisions outside of President Trump and his transition team. I mean, that’s it,” Waltz said in an exclusive interview with the Caller.

Regardless of its veracity, sources familiar with Turner’s ousting told the Caller that the report is still among a range of factors that influenced Turner’s removal from the top post on the Intelligence committee. However, these sources explained, Turner would have likely still have been pushed out even if the Tablet report had never dropped.

With Johnson being reelected speaker of the new Congress, he has the opportunity to choose his own chairs for select committees, like HPSCI, without input from the steering committee. One of the biggest factors for Turner’s dismissal was the view of most of the Republican conference that Turner is “in bed with the intelligence community,” the Caller’s sources explained. Turner was considered to be more aligned with former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and, although Johnson and Turner got along personally, Johnson was looking for change.
