Turning Point Action Identifies 4.5 Million ‘Disengaged’ GOP Voters Across 10 Battleground States

Turning Point Action, the political arm of conservative movement leader Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA, has identified more than 4.5 million so-called “disengaged” Republican voters in several battleground states around the country, enough to more than swing the 2024 presidential election’s results from 2020.

The group is holding its first-ever Restoring National Confidence event at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip on Monday and Tuesday, flying in county GOP chairs from 75 of the top 100 battleground counties across the country. The event—contrasting the Republican National Committee (RNC) winter meetings, which will happen from January 30 to February 3 in the same city—is designed, as Breitbart News has reported, to show things the event organizers, which include some of the 168 members of the RNC, should be doing. The counter event’s name—Restoring National Confidence—even trolls the RNC with the same acronym as the national Republican Party committee.

“It’s a turnout game,” Kirk, who leads Turning Point, told Breitbart News. “It’s the exact opposite of what people would have believed. I’m very, very focused and have been for quite some time and will continue to be on these numbers. I believe it’s all going to come down to three states. Trump is going to win Iowa. He’ll win Ohio. He’ll win North Carolina by a little bit—it’s not going to be a blowout. He’ll win Florida by a million votes, so I don’t think Trump should even actively campaign in Iowa, Ohio, and Florida. It’s got to be all in on Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Georgia, I’m feeling better and better about. Republicans are really coming home. They’re outpacing Democrats 1.5 to one in voter registration. Arizona, I think we’re beginning to get our act together. We’re headquartered there. We have a great new state party chair who really knows what she’s doing. Wisconsin, I’m worried about. The problem is, when I talk to some of these people, they say, ‘Oh my goodness, maybe Pennsylvania.’ I’m not that bullish on Pennsylvania. It’s a big state. If Pennsylvania falls, that means Wisconsin also falls. Look, it’s a turnout election. I really believe that, and it comes down to: Can we really turn out another 50,000 to 60,000 more Republican voters?”

Interestingly, here on Monday morning, the county-level GOP chairs from around the nation were provided with binders that include precinct-specific data in their counties as well as state-level data on what Turning Point Action’s Tyler Bowyer—also the Republican National Committeeman from Arizona—has deemed “low propensity GOP voters.” The definition, loosely applied, is basically voters who have been identified as likely to vote for the Republican for president who did not vote in the 2016 or 2020 presidential elections. Now Another State Launches Bill to Ban Trump From Ballot

Democrats across America apparently have such a fear of President Donald Trump’s presence on the 2024 presidential ballot they are trying in multiple ways to simply have him removed. . .

But now one lawmaker in Hawaii apparently believes his arguments, essentially the same as those used in multiple other states, are somehow better.

There, state Sen. Karl Rhoads, a Democrat who often lashes out angrily at Trump, is pushing for a bill that would ban Trump from the state’s ballot.

His plan aims to “specify that election ballots issued … shall exclude any candidate who is disqualified under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. . .

The plan would allow a candidate to be disqualified by any decision from any federal or state supreme court, regardless of whether there has been a conviction, or even charges. (Read more from “Now Another State Launches Bill to Ban Trump From Ballot” HERE)

Joe Biden Responds to Winning Write-In Campaign in New Hampshire

Shortly after 10:30pm, hours after the polls closed on Tuesday and he was declared the winner of the New Hampshire primary via a write-in campaign, President Joe Biden released a statement.

“It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee. And my message to the country is the stakes could not be higher. Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms — from the right to choose to the right to vote. Our economy — which has seen the strongest recovery in the world since COVID. All are at stake,” Biden’s statement began, also touching upon Trump’s primary win in the state as he went up against former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

“I want to thank all those who wrote my name in this evening in New Hampshire. It was a historic demonstration of commitment to our democratic process. And I want to say to all those Independents and Republicans who share our commitment to core values of our nation — our Democracy, our personal freedoms, an economy that gives everyone a fair shot — to join us as Americans,” the statement continued, touching upon the president’s own win.

“Let’s remember. We are the United States of America. And there is nothing — nothing — we can’t do if we do it together.” (Read more from “Joe Biden Responds to Winning Write-In Campaign in New Hampshire” HERE)

According to Insider, Trump May Pick this Representative as his Running Mate

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as his potential vice presidential pick if he secures the Republican Party’s nomination. The news surfaced following Stefanik’s announcement that she would be campaigning alongside Trump in New Hampshire ahead of the state’s pivotal first-in-the-nation primaries.

According to NBC News, the revelation took place during a candlelit dinner at Mar-a-Lago in late December, where Trump engaged in discussions about crucial decisions he would face if he became the Republican nominee. Attendees at the dinner table brought up Stefanik, praising her notable performance just weeks prior when she grilled university presidents about antisemitism on campus during a congressional hearing.

Describing Stefanik as a “killer,” Trump signaled his approval at the thought of her as a potential running mate, according to sources present at the event. Since then, a growing circle of allies, including individuals within Trump’s orbit, Stefanik’s fundraising bundlers, and former Trump administration officials, have been closely examining her as a viable vice presidential candidate, according to the report.

Stefanik gained national attention for her approach in challenging the leadership of Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the hearing. Her pointed question regarding the violation of college rules on bullying and harassment in the context of calling for the genocide of Jews prompted two resignations and stirred significant criticism against the institutions involved.

According to Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist, “Stefanik is at the top” when considering qualities that Trump values, with loyalty being paramount. A Republican campaign operative echoed this sentiment, emphasizing Trump’s inclination for a loyal running mate, especially in light of his perception of former Vice President Mike Pence’s actions as a “fatal sin.”

Stefanik, who initially aligned with moderate Republican positions during Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, underwent a transformation towards a more conservative stance, establishing herself as one of Trump’s top allies in Congress after his victory in 2016.

While Stefanik refrained from directly commenting on her potential candidacy, she expressed her focus on her current role in Congress. “I’m not going to get into any of my conversations with President Trump. I’m honored to call him a friend. I’m proud to be the first member of Congress to have endorsed his re-election, and he had a huge win in Iowa. So we’re very excited about that,” Stefanik stated when approached by NBC News.

Trump Shows Restraint in Iowa, But Here’s Where the Liberal Media Cut the Feed (VIDEO)

Donald Trump took the podium in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was flanked by staff and his sons, Eric and Don. Jr. After his historic win in the Iowa caucuses, the former president delivered remarks to supporters. If it holds, Trump will clinch over 50 percent of the vote and win this primary contest by the largest margin of victory ever. The late Bob Dole had the current record in 1988 when he thrashed Pat Robertson by 12.8 points. Trump is going to win Iowa by 20 or more.

Trump vowed we would all come together while crediting his competition, saying they’re all “very smart, very capable” opponents. While he trashed him on Truth Social, Trump said Vivek Ramaswamy did well, coming into this state with virtually zero percent of the vote, but might end up with eight at the end of the night. . .

Trump immediately went into his top agenda items, which overall center on rebuilding the country. He touched upon inflation, warning that nations who did not resolve this economic crisis did not survive, with Trump describing them as “dead” nations. He also touched upon stopping crime and curbing the illegal alien invasion, where he warned that prisons and mental hospitals in Latin American countries are emptying their wards and sending these folks here. Whether you believe it or not, it’s not far-fetched. We have people on the terror watch list slipping through.

In all, this was a tamer version of Donald Trump, but it still led to liberal media outlets cutting the feed or outright not broadcasting the speech. Of course, they would run away once immigration entered the mix.

Biden’s Re-Election Bid Hit With Foreboding New Year’s Eve Forecast

President Joe Biden enters 2024 with job approval and poll numbers that bode ill for the incumbent, a political analyst told an MSNBC audience on New Year’s Eve.

National political correspondent Steve Kornacki explained on Sunday, armed with his signature charts, how NBC’s final poll of the year compares with the statistics for other presidents heading into a re-election year.

Biden stood at 40% approval and 57% disapproval in November, which Kornacki said is the “lowest” dating back to President George H.W. Bush, who lost his attempt to secure a second term, and others who won or got defeated in the intervening years.

Moving on to an average of 2024 general election polls, which over course of 2023 has flipped from favoring Biden in a head-to-head rematch against former President Donald Trump by 2 points to giving Trump a plus-two margin over Biden, Kornacki noted that it looks to be a “very close race.” (Read more from “Biden’s Re-Election Bid Hit With Foreboding New Year’s Eve Forecast” HERE)

These Are the Important Dates to Know for the Jam-Packed Election Year in 2024

The 2024 calendar will be chock-full of national and statewide races alongside a contentious presidential election coinciding with Donald Trump’s slate of trials amid his run for another term.

Presidential candidates, House and Senate hopefuls, gubernatorial nominees and others will face off on Nov. 5 after a busy year of party primaries and special elections. Additionally, the former president faces four trials following 2023 indictments related to alleged election interference, classified documents and hush money payments as he challenges President Joe Biden for the White House.

Iowa’s caucus is the first nominating contest of the 2024 season on Jan. 15, followed by New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary on Jan. 23. Nevada is holding both a party primary and a state caucus within two days of each other on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8, respectively.

South Carolina’s primary is set for Feb. 24, and Michigan’s will take place three days later. . .

As a part of the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC’s) new calendar, at the directive of Biden, South Carolina was moved up first for their party, pushing back both Iowa and New Hampshire. Iowa caved to the DNC, and will release their presidential preferences on March 5, while New Hampshire kept its late January date. Baffling Symptoms Point to a Single, Deadly Disease

As we know all too well from the onslaught of COVID-19 in 2020, the symptoms of a disease can be baffling. With COVID, some victims had painful symptoms while others had little more than an impending feeling that something wasn’t right. Was it just a bad cold or the flu? The symptomatology was so varied that it defied easy diagnosis. Thankfully for the world, a single test emerged that could prove with near-total confidence whether or not one had the dreaded virus.

The same idea may be applied to a body politic, particularly a constitutional republic such as ours. An everyday litmus test can be applied: How well does the nation function in accordance with its constitutional and common laws, which preserve the liberties and rights of its citizenry as a common body?

If judged accordingly, our country is experiencing a hundred different symptoms that may appear baffling if they are considered individually.

Consider the IRS attacks on Tea Party groups ahead of the critical 2012 elections. At first glance, it may seem like a government agency went rogue. But then recall how the Department of Health and Human Services, around the same time, used the hammer of regulations and fines against the Little Sisters of the Poor for holding true to the right to life. And we mustn’t forget how the Obama administration spied on reporters and used the Espionage Act against whistleblowers. . .

Is the federal takeover of the U.S. education system, which began in 1965 and culminated in 2010 with the takeover of the student loan industry, a single symptom or something far worse? When viewed alongside the rise of diversity, equity, and inclusion cult, critical race theory, and the demonization of our nation’s founding principles, a citizen-doctor could be forgiven for becoming alarmed at the cumulative effects of those seemingly disparate symptoms. Democracy Under Attack: Colorado Supreme Court Disqualifies Trump From 2024 Ballot; GOP Candidate: I Will Withdraw from State Primary if Trump Not Allowed on Ballot

By Breitbart. The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in a 4-3 opinion that the Constitution’s “Insurrection Clause” prohibits former President Donald Trump from appearing on the ballot for the presidency in 2024.

“The court found by clear and convincing evidence that President Trump engaged in insurrection as those terms are used in Section Three” of the Fourteenth Amendment, the ruling reads.

The provocative ruling partially reverses a prior ruling from Colorado District Court Judge Sarah Wallace, who ruled in November that Trump is not an officer of the United States as defined by the Fourteenth Amendment and that the Amendment therefore cannot be used to disqualify him from appearing on the Colorado primary ballot.

In his dissent, Chief Justice Boatright wrote, “Dismissal is particularly appropriate here because the Electors brought their challenge without a determination from a proceeding (e.g., a prosecution for an insurrection-related offense) with more rigorous procedures to ensure adequate due process.”

In partially reversing Wallace, the Court all but dared the U.S. Supreme Court to step in by January 4, 2024. (Read more from “Democracy Under Attack: Colorado Supreme Court Disqualifies Trump From 2024 Ballot” HERE)

Vivek Ramaswamy on Colorado Ruling: I Will Withdraw from State Primary if Trump Not Allowed on Ballot

By Breitbart. Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has pledged to withdraw from the Colorado state primary in response to the recent ruling that bars former President Trump from being on the ballot.

As Breitbart News reported on Tuesday, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled “in a 4-3 opinion that the Constitution’s ‘Insurrection Clause’ prohibits former President Donald Trump from appearing on the ballot for the presidency in 2024.”

“The court found by clear and convincing evidence that President Trump engaged in insurrection as those terms are used in Section Three” of the Fourteenth Amendment, the ruling read.

The ruling will partially reverse a previous ruling from Colorado District Court Judge Sarah Wallace, who ruled in November that the Fourteenth Amendment would not apply in the case of former President Trump being that he is not an officer of the United States as was defined at the time of the amendment’s ratification following the Civil War.

In his statement released on X, Ramaswamy called the ruling a true “attack on democracy,” characterizing it as “a cabal of Democrat judges” seeking to bar the former president from the 2024 election.

Colorado GOP Threatens Primary Cancellation Over Trump Ballot Removal

The Colorado Republican Party issued a stern warning on Tuesday night, asserting that if former President Donald Trump were excluded from the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot, the party would cancel the primary altogether. This announcement came in response to a pivotal decision by the Colorado Supreme Court, which ruled 4-3 to remove Trump from the ballot, citing his alleged inflated involvement in the January 6, 2021 insurrection.

The court’s ruling, temporarily placed on hold until January 4 pending appeal, declared that Trump’s actions on January 6 amounted to an insurrection, disqualifying him from holding the office of President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. Consequently, the court asserted that listing Trump as a candidate on the presidential primary ballot would be a violation of the Election Code.

In a response Tuesday night, the Colorado Republican Party stated, “We will withdraw from the Primary as a Party and convert to a pure caucus system if this is allowed to stand.”

The Colorado Supreme Court justified its decision by citing “substantial evidence” of a concerted and public use of force or threat of force on January 6, hindering the peaceful transfer of power and constituting an insurrection. In response, 2024 GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has vowed to withdraw from Colorado’s state primary if former President Donald Trump is removed.

The Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling is an attack on democracy that will undoubtedly have far-reaching implications for the state’s electoral process.
