Obama Reportedly Fears Biden Could Lose White House in 2024

As President Joe Biden grapples with a series of crises at the close of 2023, doubts about his ability to secure the White House in the upcoming 2024 election have reportedly reached the highest echelons of the Democratic Party. A Wall Street Journal report by Annie Linskey cites an anonymous source revealing that former President Barack Obama is among those questioning Biden’s prospects, expressing concerns about the potential for Democrats to lose the presidency next year.

The anonymous source disclosed that Obama is troubled by the current state of affairs. With former President Donald Trump gaining ground in polls and a range of issues—from age and immigration to Israel policy and economic plans—casting shadows over the Biden administration, Obama reportedly fears that the Democrats “very well could lose” the 2024 election.

According to the report, Obama recognizes the upcoming presidential race as a close one. The source added that the former president is not only troubled by the prospect of a Democratic loss but is also worried about what they described as “the alternative [being] pretty dangerous for democracy.”

David Axelrod, a senior adviser to former President Obama, recently suggested on social media that Biden should step aside, pointing to a New York Times and Siena College poll showing the incumbent trailing behind Trump.

Axelrod noted that it might be “very late to change horses,” but expressed concerns that Biden’s poll numbers could send “tremors of doubt” through the Democratic Party. Axelrod emphasized that the concerns were not mere “bed-wetting” but legitimate worries about the party’s electoral prospects.

Governor Predicts Nikki Haley as Republican Party’s 2024 Presidential Nominee

In a recent appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) made a bold prediction regarding the Republican Party’s potential 2024 presidential nominee, asserting that former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) is poised to take the lead.

Governor Sununu highlighted Haley’s strong connection with voters, stating, “She’s allowing folks to ask questions. She’s earning trust.”

Expressing support for Haley, Sununu stated, “We’re 110 percent behind Nikki. I think she’s going to be the nominee. I think New Hampshire is going to be the reset point.”

As the 2024 election cycle gains momentum, Governor Chris Sununu’s endorsement and prediction add an intriguing dimension to the Republican Party’s landscape, setting the stage for an engaging and competitive primary season.

Hillary Clinton To Take Larger Role In Biden’s Re-Election Campaign — And Even Democrats Are Laughing

Former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is reportedly gearing up to take on a larger role inPresident Joe Biden’s re-election campaign — a decision that is receiving a fair amount of mockery from both sides of the political aisle.

Over the last month, although she is not officially a member of Biden’s campaign team, she has positioned herself as one of his most visible and influential surrogates. Clinton hosted a big-ticket fundraiser in late November, benefitting his re-election war chest — and two weeks earlier, she published an op-ed in The Atlantic defending the Biden administration’s response to the ongoing war between Israel and the terror group Hamas. . .

But not everyone was convinced that Clinton, who lost to former President Donald Trump in 2016, was the best person to help Biden defeat Trump — who still has a formidable lead on the rest of the Republican primary field — in 2024.

Ramaswamy Absolutely Obliterates DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Chris Christie in GOP Debate (VIDEO)

In the fourth GOP presidential debate, Vivek Ramaswamy delivered a performance that not only captivated the audience but also visibly stunned fellow candidate Nikki Haley. Known for his assertive and articulate style, Ramaswamy dominated the stage with a blend of incisive arguments and bold statements on the subjects of climate change, the Ukraine war, and more.

The debate kicked off with a discussion on U.S. involvement in Ukraine. During this segment, Ramaswamy questioned Nikki Haley’s basic geographical knowledge, which nullified her into a blank stare. “Look at that … She has no idea what the hell the names of those [Ukraine] provinces are, but she wants to send our sons and daughters and our troops and our military equipment to go fight it.”

Ramaswamy then shifted his focus to the dynamics of American politics. He exposed what he called the “dirty little secret” of the system, stating, “The people who we elect to run the government are not the ones who are even actually running the government.”

Ramaswamy made an array of statements that go against the GOP establishment rhetoric. “Why am I the only person on this stage at least who can say that January 6 now does look like it was an inside job?” he asked. Ramaswamy added that the Russia collusion narrative surrounding Trump’s presidency was a hoax and that the 2020 election was stolen from him by Big Tech.

Ramaswamy’s debate performance escalated when he directly accused Nikki Haley of corruption. While holding a sign that read, “Nikki = Corrupt,” he charged, “Nikki, I don’t have a woman problem. You have a corruption problem. And I think that that’s what people need to know. Nikki is corrupt. This is a woman who will send your kids to die so she can buy a bigger house.”

Democratic Donor Stops Biden Support Over Israel-Hamas Discontent

President Joe Biden lost the support of a Democratic donor and humanitarian who cited his administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war, Politico reported Wednesday.

Amed Khan, who helped fundraise for the president in the 2020 election, is leaving the Biden Victory Fund National Finance Committee, and won’t attend an upcoming donor retreat in Washington, D.C., or holiday events at the White House, according to Politico. Khan was critical of what he views as the administration’s failure to pressure Israel into reducing civilian casualties in Gaza, which he described as “ethnic cleansing on the way to genocide.”

“This is bullshit,” Khan told Politico. “You make moral compromises being involved in politics and ethical shortcuts, but this is just a bridge too far.”

Khan also took aim at Biden for maintaining a close relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack, according to Politico. The donor hopes the move will draw attention to the issue, and influence other Democrats to rethink how the White House is handling the war.

“I’m without a home at this point politically,” he said. (Read more from “Democratic Donor Stops Biden Support Over Israel-Hamas Discontent” HERE)

Here’s What Trump Had to Say About the 2024 Dem Nominee

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he doubted President Joe Biden would be the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 election.

Trump expressed his doubts during a Tuesday evening town hall held in Davenport, Iowa, hosted by Fox News host Sean Hannity. “I personally don’t think he makes it,” Trump told Hannity.

“Okay, I haven’t said that, I’m saving it for this big town hall,” Trump continued. “I personally don’t think so. I think he’s in bad shape physically. Remember when he said I’d like to take him behind the barn? If he took me behind the barn and I went like this [blows], I believe he would fall over. I believe he would fall over.”

Biden has suffered some falls, including one at the Air Force Academy on June 1. He also fell down while on his bike in June 2022 and stumbled on the steps of Air Force One on two occasions. Biden now takes a different set of stairs onto the VC-25 used as Air Force One, among other concessions to his age. (Read more from “Here’s What Trump Had to Say About the 2024 Dem Nominee” HERE)

Leftist Outlets Stoke Fear of Second Trump Administration

Leftist media outlets — the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Atlantic — are stoking fear about a second Trump administration as former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in key polling.

On Friday, Washington Post Editor-at-Large Robert Kagan wrote an op-ed titled “A Trump dictatorship is increasingly inevitable. We should stop pretending.” That was followed by a Monday excerpt labeled “The Fear of a Looming Trump Dictatorship” by columnist Ishaan Tharoor in the Post’s Today’s WorldView Newsletter.

“In just a few years, we have gone from being relatively secure in our democracy to being a few short steps, and a matter of months, away from the possibility of dictatorship,” wrote Kagan.

He expressed worry that if Trump were to win back the White House, he could potentially seek a third term and disregard the Twenty-Second Amendment:

What about the desire for reelection, a factor that constrains most presidents? Trump might not want or need a third term, but were he to decide he wanted one, as he has sometimes indicated, would the 22nd Amendment block him any more effectively from being president for life than the Supreme Court, if he refused to be blocked? Why should anyone think that amendment would be more sacrosanct than any other part of the Constitution for a man like Trump, or perhaps more importantly, for his devoted supporters?

Speculation Grows as Michelle Obama’s Solo Air Force One Flight Fuels Talk of a Political Comeback

The Democratic Party is facing a conundrum as it searches for a compelling and popular candidate capable of securing votes in the upcoming elections. Famed Historian Sounds Alarm on Dems’ Wicked 2024 Plans (VIDEO)

Noted historian and Hillsdale College professor Victor Davis Hanson is issuing a warning to the United States, that the Democrats essentially will do anything they see necessary to defeat Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

Hanson has a long list of credits, including his position as the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in Residence in Classics and Military History at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, as a professor of Classics Emeritus at California State University, Fresno, and a nationally syndicated columnist for Tribune Media Services. He is also the Wayne & Marcia Buske Distinguished Fellow in History, Hillsdale College, where he teaches each fall semester courses in military history and classical culture.

A report at The Gateway Pundit summarized his comments with: “The essence of Hanson’s message is a reminder of how far the left went to stop Trump last time and that people should be prepared for them to do anything this time.”

The report said, “It’s an ominous warning but it’s important to think ahead and be mentally prepared for anything, because that’s what is on the table.”

His comments include: “They look at Trump as a vampire and they put a stake in his heart but they’re afraid that that stake could come out any time. That he’s undying and they’re afraid of him. They are terrified of him.”

He explained, “They are terrified of him because they think he’s smarter this time and he has just cause to really get angry because of what they did to him. They can write all of The Atlantic Monthly and New Yorker clever, glib little essays about ‘Donald Trump is a threat to democracy,’ and their little Molly Ball in Time Magazine essays how clever and brilliant they were with their cabals and conspiracies to get rid of him. Trial Delays and Scheduling Conflicts: Trump’s Legal Maneuvers Open a Path to 2024 Election Without Conviction

As former President Donald Trump faces an increasing number of legal challenges, a strategic approach involving trial delays and scheduling conflicts is emerging, potentially paving the way for his entry into the 2024 presidential race without the looming threat of conviction. Trump is currently grappling with four separate criminal indictments, and the timing of these trials coincides with the period leading up to the next presidential election.

In Florida, where Trump faces a federal trial over the mishandling of classified documents, District Judge Aileen Cannon has shown a willingness to consider trial delays. While maintaining the May 2024 trial date for now, she has scheduled a March 1 conference to revisit Trump’s request to postpone the trial. The judge has already extended pre-trial filing deadlines, acknowledging the practical challenges posed by Trump’s involvement in multiple legal cases.

The situation is mirrored in Manhattan, where Trump is set to face trial on charges of falsifying business records in March 2024. Judge Juan Merchan, overseeing the case, has signaled a potential postponement, stating that a decision will be made in February after evaluating any actual conflicts that may arise.

Meanwhile, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, overseeing Trump’s trial for alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, has indicated that the trial may extend into early 2025 due to its anticipated complexity.

Trump’s trial related to the 2020 election interference in Washington, D.C., is still scheduled for March 4, 2024, just ahead of Super Tuesday. Despite his legal team’s request to pause the case pending a resolution on his motion to dismiss based on presidential immunity, the trial is moving forward.

The strategic use of trial delays and scheduling conflicts underscores the intricate dance between Trump’s legal battles and his political ambitions. As the legal landscape evolves, the former president aims to chart a course that allows him to participate in the 2024 election without the immediate threat of legal consequences impacting his candidacy.
