Left-Wing Group Pleads With Biden to Not Run Again In 2024: ‘Don’t Run Joe’ (VIDEO)

A left-wing group is making headlines for pleading with President Joe Biden not to run again for a second term in 2024.

RootsAction published a nationwide ad called “Don’t Run Joe,” across New Hampshire addressing concerns that Biden’s approval rating is too low to beat out former President Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) should he decide to run.

Although the group, which has defined itself as a “progressive group that helped defeat Trump,” is not advocating for a Republican in the White House, they fear if Biden ran again, Americans wouldn’t vote for him.

In the progressive ad, a voter is heard saying “we can’t afford to lose the White House to a Republican who could defeat status-quo Joe,” while another says “it’s critical that we don’t allow a Republican to win the White House in 2024.”

“With his low popularity, it’s too much of a gamble,” another voter said.

Trump Megadonors Disappearing, Won’t Back Again in ’24

. . .“GOP megadonors Robert Mercer and Rebekah Mercer have no current plans to help former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign for the White House, according to people familiar with the matter,” CNBC reported this week.

“The Mercers, a father and daughter who were among Trump’s major benefactors during his first run for president in 2016, are distancing themselves from the ex-president’s third White House bid and cutting back their overall campaign fundraising, these people said. The people who spoke to CNBC did so on the condition of anonymity in order to talk about private conversations.” . . .

“Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman, Citadel CEO Ken Griffin, wealthy New York businessman Andy Sabin and billionaire Ronald Lauder are among the wealthy GOP donors opting against helping Trump’s latest campaign — at least during the Republican primary,” CNBC reported. “Some of the country’s wealthiest GOP donors do not believe Trump can win again and have argued for a new face to represent their party in the race for president.” . . .

“I’d like to think that the Republican Party is ready to move on from somebody who has been for this party a three-time loser,” Griffin said at Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum in Singapore, referring to the last three election cycles, The Hill reported.

Schwarzman was more harsh. “America does better when its leaders are rooted in today and tomorrow, not today and yesterday,” he said in a statement. “It is time for the Republican Party to turn to a new generation of leaders and I intend to support one of them in the presidential primaries.” (Read more from “Trump Megadonors Disappearing, Won’t Back Again in ’24” HERE)

Trump: DeSantis a ‘Fine Guy,’ but He Could ‘Hurt Himself Very Badly’ by Running in 2024

Former President Trump said if he formally announces a 2024 White House bid and is re-elected, he would return to the nation’s capital with experience and a new perspective, without having to rely on Washington insiders, and would build on his “unbeatable” America First record.

The former president sat for a wide-ranging interview on Trump Force One, a Boeing 757, Monday night with Fox News Digital and four other reporters after teasing during a rally in Dayton, Ohio that he plans make a “major” announcement from Mar-a-Lago on Nov.15, likely regarding the launch of his possible third presidential campaign. . .

Before that though, Trump is calling for a GOP leadership change in Congress, specifically pointing to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. He also warned potential Republican presidential candidates, like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, against running against him in 2024, saying it would not “be good for the party.”

Reflecting on his administration from 2017 to 2021 and people he tapped to serve in top cabinet posts, Trump said, “I never did this before.”

“Part of the problem was that I wasn’t a Washington person,” Trump said. “You have to rely on people — I had a lot of great people, but I had to rely on people who were RINOs.” (Read more from “Trump: DeSantis a ‘Fine Guy,’ but He Could ‘Hurt Himself Very Badly’ by Running in 2024” HERE)

Trump Wants to Announce He Is Running for President ‘ASAP’; Could Come as Early as Today: Report

Several Republican operatives are reportedly on edge amid speculation that former President Donald Trump will make his 2024 presidential bid official Monday evening.

Confidants close to Trump believe he is chomping at the bit and could expedite his timetable for debuting his comeback bid to Monday night’s rally in Ohio where he will be stumping for Republican Senate hopeful J.D. Vance and others, according to Axios reporter Jonathan Swan. . .

Trump has repeatedly teased his 2024 ambitions during rallies, including Sunday night in Miami in which he proclaimed he will “probably have to do it again.” Prior reporting indicated that Trump had been eyeing a campaign launch after the midterm elections and that the date in mind was Nov. 14. Trump ‘Wants His Old Job Back’

For months now, former President Trump has hinted at a potential White House run in 2024, and for months Americans have held their breath waiting for the announcement.

In an interview with CBS News, Kellyanne Conway, who managed Trump’s 2016 campaign, said that the former president may make his announcement before Thanksgiving.

Trump will “assess the timing of his announcement,” Conway said, adding, “I think before the end of this year.”

Conway said that Trump is as “active as anybody” else in the midterm elections, already building support from Americans by rallying in several states throughout the country. . .

“I will tell you why he wants to run for president—Donald Trump wants his old job back,” Conway said. (Read more from “Trump ‘Wants His Old Job Back’” HERE)

Poll: More Than Half of Democrats Don’t Want Biden as 2024 Nominee

More than half of Democrats responding to a new survey have revealed they would prefer a candidate other than President Joe Biden as their candidate in 2024.

The ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 56% of Democrats wanted a different candidate, with just 35% preferring Biden in the next presidential election.

“Looking two years off, just 35 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents favor Biden for the 2024 nomination; 56 percent want the party to pick someone else. Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, for their part, split 47-46 percent on whether Donald Trump should be their 2024 nominee – a 20-point drop for Trump compared with his 2020 nomination,” a news release regarding the poll stated. “The unpopularity of both figures may encourage third-party hopefuls, though they rarely do well.”

New Poll on Who Americans Want in 2024 Is Bad News for Biden

Americans surveyed in a new Quinnipiac poll were asked to look beyond the 2022 midterm general election now less than 10 weeks away and consider the 2024 presidential election — specifically who they want, or don’t want, to see at the top of the ballot.

When it comes to Donald Trump, 62 percent of respondents said they didn’t want to see him run — down from 64 percent who held that view in July’s Quinnipiac survey — compared to 33 percent of Americans who said they wanted Trump to run for president again in the next cycle.

But on the other side of the aisle, President Biden is polling even worse as his job approval remains underwater at a negative 40 – 52 percent rating. When asked if the current incumbent should run again, 67 percent of Americans said “no” and just 26 percent said he should run for a second term.

When it comes to the party bases for each prospective candidate, far more Republicans want Trump to run in 2024 than Democrats want Biden to run again. Nearly three-quarters of Republicans — 72 percent — want Trump to run at the next opportunity while less than half — 47 percent — of Democrats want to have Biden leading their party’s ticket in 2024.

Within their own parties, just 25 percent of Republicans say Trump shouldn’t run again while 43 percent of Democrats want Biden to take a bow and step aside for the next term. (Read more from “New Poll on Who Americans Want in 2024 Is Bad News for Biden” HERE)

Dark Horse Republican 2024 Candidate Surging in Popularity and Approval

Virginians haven’t been very kind to their governors over the past decade, but Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin appears to be winning them over — and at quite a pace.

The former businessman who edged aside former Gov. Terry McAuliffe with unexpected ease in last fall’s election has surged to a 55% approval rating in the just-released Roanoke College poll.

What’s more, Youngkin has a favorable/unfavorable rating of 51%-37%, which is also rare positive territory for a commonwealth governor.

“For the first time in our poll, a majority (51%) of Virginians have a favorable view of Governor Youngkin, while 37% continue to have an unfavorable view. Again, that increase comes mostly from Republican feelings, but his rating is up slightly among Democrats and independents as well,” read the survey analysis.

While only in office for eight months, a search of past surveys found that former Gov. Ralph Northam only once saw his approval rating over 53% and favorability over 48% during his four-year term. At about this stage of his four-year term in 2014, McAuliffe had a 48% job approval rating. (Read more from “Dark Horse Republican 2024 Candidate Surging in Popularity and Approval” HERE)

The 2024 Election Is Being Rigged Right Now in Plain Sight

The news cycle this week has been understandably dominated by the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, where armed agents were supposedly looking for classified documents the FBI believes were improperly removed from the White House at the end of Trump’s term, in violation of federal law.

But the FBI raid is just a piece of a much larger story that’s playing out in slow motion and in plain sight: the rigging of the 2024 presidential election.

Much like the 2020 election, which wasn’t stolen so much as rigged months in advance to give Joe Biden an advantage that all but guaranteed his victory, the 2024 election is being rigged to ensure that Trump either cannot run or, if he does run, cannot win.

First, consider the FBI raid. No serious person believes that a documents dispute was the real purpose of the raid. The idea that the FBI would search the home of a former president and potential 2024 GOP candidate over an ongoing (and not uncommon) disagreement over presidential records with the National Archives is absurd on its face.

In his brief and self-congratulatory press conference Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland said he personally authorized the search on Trump’s home, that the Justice Department “does not take such a decision lightly,” and that it always seeks to use a “less intrusive means as an alternative to a search, and to narrowly scope any search that is undertaken.” (Read more from “The 2024 Election Is Being Rigged Right Now in Plain Sight” HERE)

‘Hillary Clinton Levels of Cringe’: Nikki Haley Refers to Next President as ‘Her’

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley hinted at launching a presidential campaign on Monday, referring to the next president as “her” during a speech at the Christians United for Israel summit held just outside Washington D.C.

While speaking about President Joe Biden potentially entering a revamped Iran nuclear deal, Haley told the crowd, “and if this president signs any sort of deal, I’ll make you a promise. The next President will shred it – on her first day in office.”

Although Haley did not officially launch a presidential bid, her use of the female pronoun prompted speculation from many political pundits that she was referring to herself as the next president.

Former Trump White House aide Steven Cheung said Haley’s comments were “Hillary Clinton levels of cringe.”
