. . .Americans want more limits on abortion, which since Roe v. Wade is estimated to have taken the lives of 60 million unborn.

A new Marist Poll from the Knights of Columbus shows a supermajority of Americans would limit the procedure to the first three months of pregnancy, including even a majority of those who say they are pro-abortion.

The poll shows 76 percent, including six in 10 “pro-choice” Americans, believe abortion should be limited to the first three months of a pregnancy or only in “cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother.”

Among the polls results: “Seventy-eight percent of respondents said that laws can protect both the health and well-being of a woman and the life of the unborn, while only 15 percent said laws should protect one and not the other. Surprisingly, 73 percent of those identifying as ‘pro-choice’ agreed that both the unborn and women can be protected. Seventy-three percent of Democrats and 80 percent of independents shared that view.”

“It is hardly surprising that after (60) million abortions in this country, an overwhelming majority of the American people want substantial limits,” said Supreme Knight Carl Anderson. “This survey shows clearly that the ‘pro-choice’ label can no longer be assumed to mean support for abortion on demand. Unlike pro-life and religious organizations, the feminist movement has rejected the idea of helping women with unplanned pregnancies to overcome the obstacles in their paths and ensure a healthy life for them and their children. Instead, they’re actively pushing to normalize the murder of unborn babies and promoting the most efficient ways to do it.

A new abortion device called SofTouch, which was featured in feminist magazine Glamour on Sunday, can kill an unborn baby up to 12-weeks gestation “in just three minutes.” Less developed babies can apparently be killed in a mere 60-seconds.

“You’ve probably never heard of it, but recently a device that has the power to transform the abortion process hit the health care scene,” boasts Glamour. “It fits in the palm of a doctor’s hand and doesn’t require an electric suction machine or an operating room or fasting the night before. A patient doesn’t need to be sedated and there are and no limits on her lifestyle either before or after the procedure. In fact, she can get the entire procedure done in her lunch hour and go right back to work. It’s nonsurgical, noninvasive and is nearly 100 percent effective. It can be completed in 60 to 90 seconds if the patient is less than six weeks pregnant and in about two or three minutes if she’s between six and 10 weeks.”

A forthcoming study in the journal Contraception (prepublication copy here) by noted abortion advocates takes a look at abortion pills which may be ordered online without a prescription in America. The authors say that while the certain of the pills may have been “substandard” and the ordering process “suboptimal,” this method is nonetheless “feasible” for women who want to chemically abort but for some reason either can’t or don’t want to go to the clinic.

That these deadly pills are being bought and sold online in the U.S. is a big deal, but not necessarily a surprise. The sale of drugs from online pharmacies, legitimate and otherwise, is simply a consequence of living in the internet age, however big an enforcement headache it might present for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the government agency charged with monitoring drug safety and efficacy.

That entrepreneurs with access to knock off drugs from foreign pharmaceutical makers might try to make a quick buck off desperate women looking for a cheaper, more convenient way of obtaining these nearly “magical” abortion pills they’ve heard about is, sadly, not unexpected.

What may surprise people, though, is the way the abortion establishment not only defends but promotes these online sales, and how this fits in with their long term plans for the abortion pill expansion in the United States . . .

Researchers in four states (TX, WA, CA, and NY) acted as “mystery shoppers” (their own words) looking for abortion pills on the internet that sellers said they would ship to the U.S. Over a four month period from December 2016 to March 2017, they identified and ordered 22 products from 18 different websites. The Orange County, California, district attorney’s office has announced that two baby-body-parts dealers investigated after a series of undercover videos about the abortion industry’s profits on fetal tissue have been ordered to close down.

The companies are DV Biologics and DaVinci Biosciences.

They “must permanently close and cease all operations in the state of California within 60 and 120 days, respectively, pay a settlement amount of $7,785,000 through the donation of assets and biological materials to a non-profit academic and scientific teaching institution affiliated with a major U.S. medical school, and pay $195,000 in civil penalties,” explained a statement from the office of District Attorney Tony Rackauckas about a settlement in the case.

The companies were identified in undercover videos released in 2015 by the Center for Medical Progress which identified abortion-industry players, including those at Planned Parenthood, negotiating for pieces of the bodies of unborn infants killed through abortion.

The OCDA opened its investigation based on a complaint submitted by the CMP and, based on the evidence uncovered, “filed a complaint for violations for unlawful, unfair, and fraudulent business practices in the Superior Court in the state of California in Orange County.” (Read more from “2 Baby Body Parts Dealers Ordered to Close” HERE)
