American Woman Stranded in Afghanistan: Biden’s State Department ‘Broke Me’

. . .Jen Wilson is the chief operating officer of the Army Week Association, a nonprofit organization founded to ease veterans’ transition from military service. Since the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August, Wilson has been focused on rescuing American citizens and U.S. allies while working for Project Dynamo, a civilian organization to evacuate “eligible parties out of Afghanistan.”

While searching for Americans to evacuate out of Afghanistan, she discovered a woman named “Julie.” . . .

On Friday, Wilson appeared on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” to tell Julie’s story. . .

Julie, who has allegedly been a U.S. citizen for at least 16 years, called into the cable news program to explain how she has been stranded in Afghanistan.

Perino asked Julie what the State Department told her to do in order to be evacuated from Afghanistan, to which she replied, “I am not doing anything. I’m just sitting on a hill.”

“They broke me. The United States broke me, because I am U.S. citizen,” the woman said, and then became choked up with emotions and began crying. (Read more from “American Woman Stranded in Afghanistan: Biden’s State Department ‘Broke Me'” HERE)

More GOP Govs Back Biden’s Plan To Resettle Afghans In Their States

More Republican governors across the United States are publicly supporting President Joe Biden’s massive refugee resettlement operation out of Afghanistan which is set to bring at least 95,000 Afghans to the U.S. over the next year.

Last week, the Biden administration announced that the first group of roughly 36,000 Afghans brought to the U.S. at rapid speed will be resettled across 46 states — including Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

The only areas not receiving Afghans are Hawaii, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, DC.

With more details from the Biden administration on the resettlement operation, more Republican governors have come out to support the plan. In August, without having vetting or screening details, 10 Republican governors announced their support for the plan and asked Biden to resettle Afghans in their states.

Those 10 Republican governors include South Carolina’s Henry McMaster, Maryland’s Larry Hogan, Massachusetts’ Charlie Baker, Utah’s Spencer Cox, Georgia’s Brian Kemp, Arkansas’ Asa Hutchinson, Arizona’s Doug Ducey, Iowa’s Kim Reynolds, Oklahoma’s Kevin Stitts, and Vermont’s Phil Scott. GOP Lawmaker: More Americans Stranded in Afghanistan Than Biden’s Admitting

At least 200 Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan, double the Biden administration’s public claim of around 100, according to Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R., Calif.) office.

Issa’s office has to date communicated with 68 GOP offices, barely a third of the total caucus, and told the Washington Free Beacon it is aware of at least 201 Americans seeking to return home. Issa’s team worked over the past weeks to free more than 35 individuals from Afghanistan, and says that it is in contact with “several more.” Issa’s office believes there are far more than 200 still waiting to be rescued.

The information collected by the lawmaker’s office is leading them to conclude that Secretary of State Antony Blinken and senior Biden administration officials are “lowballing” the total number of Americans trapped in Afghanistan after the botched withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country. Blinken testified before Congress earlier this week that he is aware of around 100 Americans who are in contact with the State Department about returning home—a number the administration has repeated for the past weeks.

“This is the number nobody in the White House wants you to know,” Issa told the Free Beacon. “State has been intentionally vague, even though they have more information than anyone. That’s why we’re making sure the truth is told. The coverup is over.”

Issa and his team disclosed difficulties in dealing with the State Department as they try to free Californians from Afghanistan. Administration officials are said to be overwhelmed by calls and emails from congressional offices on both sides of the aisle that are trying to bring Americans home. After days of back-and-forth, the State Department asked Issa’s office in an email to tell Americans: “Do not rely on U.S. government assistance.” (Read more from “GOP Lawmaker: More Americans Stranded in Afghanistan Than Biden’s Admitting” HERE)

House Foreign Affairs GOP Predicts U.S. Will Go Back Into Afghanistan

Republican members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee warned that American troops may yet have to return to Afghanistan amid fears that the Taliban will again allow the country to become a haven for international terrorist groups.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken was hauled in front of Congress this week as lawmakers demanded to know how America’s longest war ended in such humiliation. But even amid the inquest, lawmakers’ minds are turning to reintervention.

For many, the war—one so complicated by vague and ever-expanding goals, Pentagon and White House deceit, and a zealous belief in America’s ability to nation-build—is not over.

“I think it’s quite likely that we’re going to end up somehow militarily involved again,” Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH), who sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee that quizzed Blinken this week, told Newsweek. Facebook Drops Hammer on Song Critical of Biden, ‘Blood on My Hands’ (VIDEO)

With unusual speed, Facebook has blocked a Grammy-nominated songwriter from promoting his new tune that pays tribute to U.S. troops in Afghanistan and whacks President Joe Biden’s bumbled withdrawal.

On John Ondrasik’s page, Facebook said it was blocking an ad to promote his new song, “Blood on my hands,” because “it doesn’t comply with our advertising policies.” The reason was unclear, and the singer was hopeful of clearing the block.

Ondrasik wrote the just-released song in reaction to the deaths of 13 service members in the days leading to the full U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and the plight of those left behind, especially women.

“Though I believe the decision to withdraw or not from Afghanistan has good arguments on both sides, I cannot comprehend why the Biden administration would not extend the August 31 deadline thus leaving American citizens, SIV holders, and Afghan allies behind to a terrorist Taliban regime. As a life-long supporter of our military I believe ‘no man left behind’ applied to all Americans as well as those we promise to protect,” he said on his webpage.

Afghanistan Hostage Crisis: Family of Navy Vet Wants Biden Official Fired

None in the mainstream media dare call it a hostage crisis, but the family of a Navy vet held hostage in Afghanistan for months is demanding accountability from Presidentish Joe Biden.

Now a civil engineer whose work brought him to Afghanistan several times, Mark Frerichs was taken hostage last January by members of the Taliban-aligned Haqqani network. Frerichs was last seen in the remote Khost Province on the lawless Pakistani. border.

Frerichs’ sister, Charlene Cakora, says that U.S. special representative for Afghan reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad “appears to have ignored my brother’s kidnapping.”

“They need someone talking to the Taliban who will make Mark a priority,” said Cakora. “Ambassador Khalilzad needs to be fired.”

Cakora was also quoted saying, “I know that when wars end, prisoners on both sides should have the ability to come home.” (Read more from “Afghanistan Hostage Crisis: Family of Navy Vet Wants Biden Official Fired” HERE)

Tony Blinken Confirms Child Brides Evacuated With Older Men From Afghanistan

Secretary of State Tony Blinken confirmed reports during a Senate hearing on Tuesday that young children were transported from Afghanistan with older men as child brides.

During the hearing, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled Blinken about the numbers, citing data form the World Health Organization that over 50 percent of wives in Afghanistan were married as child brides.

Blinken said he did not know the exact number of underage girls who were evacuated with older men or how many were separated by officials after they landed.

Cruz cited reports of a State Department document seeking “urgent guidance” from other agencies about the issue after child brides were brought to Fort McCoy in Wisconsin, noting that tens of thousands of Afghans were evacuated from the Kabul airport.

Blinken insisted the entire government was following the issue with “extreme vigilance” to uncover and separate child brides of older Afghan men, but he tried to downplay the numbers. (Read more from “Tony Blinken Confirms Child Brides Evacuated With Older Men From Afghanistan” HERE)

Afghan War Vet Congressman Accuses Blinken of Treason in Heated Exchange; Interpreters Still in Afghanistan Are ‘Gone,’ Already ‘Being Executed’; Biden Offers Welfare, Quick U.S. Citizenship To Unvetted Afghans

By Breitbart. On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX) stated that there are around 10,000 interpreters who worked with U.S. forces still in Afghanistan, and they “are gone. The Taliban will not allow them to leave.” And are “already being executed.”

McCaul said, “The interpreters who worked with our special forces, they are gone. The Taliban will not allow them to leave.”

Host Wolf Blitzer then cut in to ask McCaul if he was referring to SIV holders.

McCaul responded, “Special Immigrant Visas, these are the guys that worked right with our special forces. The Taliban views them as the worst of the worst. Because they betrayed, in their view, their country and they worked with the infidel.” (Read more from “Interpreters Still in Afghanistan Are ‘Gone’” HERE)

Afghan War Vet Goes Off on Blinken in Heated Exchange for Deceiving Nation

By Fox News. A GOP congressman erupted at Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his hearing in front of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, saying Congress does not “need to hear lies.”

Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., who lost both legs while serving in Afghanistan, got into a heated exchange with Blinken as the congressman’s allotted time to question the secretary of state drew to a close.

Mast slammed the administration’s handling of the withdrawal, pointing to Biden’s controversial leaked call with the former Afghan president, leading the Florida Republican to proclaim that he does not “believe a word” the secretary was saying.

“I don’t want to hear from the secretary,” Mast said. “He lies to us when he appears before us.”

Biden Offers Welfare, Quick U.S. Citizenship To Unvetted Afghans

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden’s congressional budget request would offer tens of thousands of Afghans arriving in the United States a host of welfare and quick naturalized American citizenship, a new analysis states.

The analysis, conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and shared with Breitbart News, details Biden’s request to Congress for $6.4 billion in American taxpayer money to resettle 95,000 Afghans across the U.S. over the next year.

Specifically, Biden’s plan would provide an “expedited path to citizenship” to tens of thousands of Afghans who arrived via “humanitarian parole” by giving them green cards after just a year of residing in the U.S.

Then, after only a few years of holding a green card, those Afghans would be eligible to apply for naturalized U.S. citizenship. The FAIR analysis suggests that the Biden administration will fast-track the citizenship process by backdating green cards for Afghans to the date when they initially secured parole.

Before ever getting a green card, though, the Biden plan ensures that Afghans become immediately eligible for welfare programs that parolees are typically not provided. Afghans who complete “vague” vetting procedures, according to the FAIR analysis, would be first in line for the public benefits. China Mocks U.S. With Supposed Video of Taliban Using Military Planes as Toys (VIDEO)

China has mocked the United States’ chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan by sharing footage that supposedly shows Taliban fighters turning abandoned US military planes into toys.

Chinese governmental official Lijian Zhao, who is the spokesperson for the foreign ministry, tweeted the video Thursday.

“The graveyard of EMPIRES and their WAR MACHINES. Talibans have turned their planes into swings and toys,” Zhao tweeted alongside the video.

It wasn’t immediately clear where the footage was taken, or if it was filmed after US troops withdrew from Afghanistan.

The video shows what appears to be a group of Taliban fighters turning the wing of a military plane into a makeshift swing. (Read more from “China Mocks U.S. With Supposed Video of Taliban Using Military Planes as Toys” HERE)

Psaki: People Who ‘May Not Have Decided to Depart’ Are One Reason Numbers of Americans in Afghanistan Are Unclear (VIDEO)

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that the fact that “some people may not have decided to depart Afghanistan yet” is one reason for the “broad range” of numbers of Americans still in Afghanistan.
