Obama Administration Quietly Prepares 'Surge' of Millions of New Immigrant ID's

Photo Credit: Breitbart Despite no official action from the president ahead of the election, the Obama administration has quietly begun preparing to issue millions of work authorization permits, suggesting the implementation of a large-scale executive amnesty may have already begun.

Unnoticed until now, a draft solicitation for bids issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Oct. 6 says potential vendors must be capable of handling a “surge” scenario of 9 million id cards in one year “to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements.”

The request for proposals says the agency will need a minimum of four million cards per year. In the “surge,” scenario in 2016, the agency would need an additional five million cards – more than double the baseline annual amount for a total of 9 million.

“The guaranteed minimum for each ordering period is 4,000,000 cards. The estimated maximum for the entire contract is 34,000,000 cards,” the document says.

The agency is buying the materials need to construct both Permanent Residency Cards (PRC), commonly known as green cards, as well as Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards which have been used to implement President Obama’s “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” (DACA) program. The RFP does not specify how many of each type of card would be issued.

WATCH: Fired Up Obama to Immigration Activists: 'No Force On Earth Can Stop Us'

A fired up President Barack Obama had a message to immigration activists at a dinner this evening in Washington, D.C.: “no force on earth can stop us.”

“The clearest path to change is to change [the voter turnout] number,” said Obama “Si se puede, si votamos! Yes, we can, if we vote!”

“You know, earlier this year, I had a chance to host a screening of the film Cesar Chavez at the White House, and I was reminded that Cesar organized for nearly 20 years before his first major victory. He never saw that time as a failure. Looking back, he said, I remember the families who joined our movement and paid dues long before there was any hope of winning contracts. I remember thinking then that with spirit like that, no force on earth could stop us.

Photo Credit: John Moore / GettyImmigration News Today: US Mayors Agree to ‘Support and Welcome’ Refugee Central American Children

A dozen U.S. mayors have agreed to support immigrant children from Central America seeking refuge.

Welcoming America, a nonprofit organization that promotes cooperation between foreign-born and U.S.-born Americans, released a letter signed by 12 mayors and a county executive promising to “compassionately support and welcome the young children from Central America seeking refuge in the U.S.”

“As we reflect back on the initial concerns raised around children fleeing violence, we see that our values have prevailed,” said Welcoming America Executive Director David Lubell. “These leaders are demonstrating that communities have responded with compassion, and can successfully help children in need, now and into the future.”

The letter acknowledged young children from Central American countries have traveled thousands of miles to seek shelter in the U.S. According to Welcoming America’s letter, the Central American minors have encountered abuse during the travel north. Despite the minors’ surrender to U.S. border patrol agents, the children still pursue help.

Don’t Give the Masters of the Universe Their Amnesty

Photo Credit: Justin Sullivan / Getty Earlier this week I spoke about the president’s promise that he would issue an executive amnesty to 5 or 6 million people. The planned amnesty would include work permits, photo IDs, and Social Security numbers for millions of people who illegally entered the U.S., illegally overstayed their visas, or defrauded U.S. immigration authorities.

The Senate Democratic conference has supported and enabled the president’s unlawful actions and blocked every effort to stop them. Not even one of our Democratic colleagues has backed the House legislation that would stop this planned executive amnesty or demanded that Senator Reid bring it up for a vote. Every Senate Democrat is therefore the president’s partner in his planned lawless acts.

Tonight I would like to talk about the influence of special interests on our nation’s immigration system. How did we get to the point where elected officials, activist groups, the ACLU, and global CEOs are openly working to deny American workers the immigration protections to which they are legally entitled? How did we get to the point where the Democratic party is prepared to nullify and wipe away the immigration laws of the United States of America?

Just yesterday Majority Leader Reid wrote in a tweet something that was shocking. He said: “Since House Republicans have failed to act on immigration, I know the President will. When he does, I hope he goes Real Big.”

Let this sink in for a moment. The majority leader of the Senate is bragging that he knows the president will circumvent Congress to issue executive amnesty to millions, and he is encouraging the president to ensure this amnesty includes as many people as possible. And the White House has acknowledged that 5 to 6 million is the number they are looking at.

'Get Ready' for Obama's Upcoming Executive Amnesty

By Caroline May.

With President Obama expected to announce executive action on immigration reform soon, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutiérrez says he is telling people to “get ready.”

“It’s music to my ears that someone would have a source at the White House that say it’s 5 million. Let me just say, tomorrow, the next day, and all of this week we’re getting ready,” he said.

Gutiérrez appeared on MSNBC’s Jose Diaz-Balart after MSNBC senior White House correspondent Chris Jansing said that senior White House officials expect Obama to grant executive amnesty to around 5 million illegal immigrants after his European trip to Estonia and Wales next week.

Reports have indicated that the executive action President Obama is planning to make by the end of summer could legalize some 5 million undocumented immigrants.

SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO: Our Country Is Under Attack & Obama Is the Aggressor – “He Is Rewarding Criminals”

By Jim Hoft.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio sent out this bitter attack on Barack Obama this morning.

Arpaio accuses Barack Obama of leading an attack on the United States. The popular sheriff says President Obama is “rewarding criminals.”

Our country is under attack.

And Barack Obama is the aggressor. That’s right. Our own President has overseen the release of thousands of illegal immigrants…hundreds of whom are convicted criminals – even felons, which are flooding into America.

Every day you read the newspaper or turn on the news, there is something tragic happening, something Obama says is beyond our control.

Protestors rally on border security

Holding signs calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama and waving Confederate and American flags, about 40 protesters rallied in front of the federal courthouse in Greenville on Saturday to draw attention to their concerns about border security.

“This is about a literal invasion of the United States,” said William G. Carter, state chairman of the South Carolina Conservative Action Council and organizer of the rally. “The face of the United States will never be the same if Barack Obama has his way.”

He said he believes the immigration reform proposed by the president — which has stalled in the Republican-controlled Congress — would result in adding millions of illegal immigrants to the rolls of Democratic voters, in effect turning America into a one-party country.

The bill, passed by the Senate, would give 11 million who came here illegally an opportunity to earn citizenship.

Not everyone at the rally agreed with the organizers.

No “Executive Order” Needed: Dept. of Justice Finds Wide-Open Backdoor to Amnesty

Photo Credit: Center for Immigration Studies via Daily Caller

The progressive socialists and the Obama administration keep finding new ways fundamentally transform (destroy?) America. As our kids head back to school, Obama has found another way to flood our country with more illegal immigrants from Central America. Many of our school districts are receiving tens of thousands of “unaccompanied minor children”– aka illegal aliens — all at the cost of hard working American families. And now, a new tactic from these master deceivers.

As reported by The Daily Caller, “The Department of Justice’s board of immigration appeals has decided to let Guatemalan women win asylum in the United States if they claim to be victims of domestic violence. The decision was announced in an Aug. 26 decision from the Board of Immigration Appeals at President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice. It creates a huge new incentive for Guatemalan women to cross the U.S. border, because if their asylum claim is accepted, their children get U.S. citizenship, plus the use of federal health, education and retirement programs, regardless of their initial education and work skills. The new decision also means that many of the Guatemalan women who have already crossed the border this year have a new claim for asylum.”

Yes they can and yep, they did — they found a way to backdoor our immigration system and do it in a manner which would make anyone challenging it seem, well, “uncompassionate.” So if you are a Guatemalan woman here already, guess what you’re going to claim now? And you can walk this dog back and I bet you’ll find ACLU, LULAC, and La Raza influence and their accompanying support in developing this new course of action.

As a matter of fact, check out this quote: “Under this breaking decision from the Board of Immigration Appeals, many [migrant] women [detained at the detention center] Artesia may be eligible for asylum,” said Ben Winograd, a lawyer who is paid to help foreigners win residency and citizenship. “This (long overdue) BIA decision should make many [foreign] victims of domestic violence eligible for asylum,” said Winograd, a liberal advocate who is based in Alexandria, Va.

Congressman Returns U.S. Chamber Of Commerce Award Over Chamber’s Pro-Amnesty Stance

Frustrated over the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s endorsement of a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens living and working in the United States, Congressman Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.) handed back an award the organization had bestowed on him earlier this year.

Bentivolio, along with many other sitting Congressmen, received the Chamber’s “Spirit of Enterprise” award in March — an honorific that goes to elected leaders on the same policy page, more or less, as the Chamber. But Bentivolio, after considering the implications of the Chamber’s amnesty position as tens of thousands of illegal immigrants flock to the Nation’s southern border, decided last week to give the award back.

He apparently had a lot on his mind, because he lit into the Chamber with a fury.

Ineligible Illegals File Request to Get Dreamer Status, Force Obama’s Hand

By Stephen Dinan.

Nearly a dozen illegal immigrations announced a campaign Wednesday to force President Obama’s hand on halting deportations, saying they would file papers demanding to be let into the existing program granting legal status to so-called Dreamers, although none qualifies.

Some of the immigrants came as children and would have qualified except they went home for college and then came back, while others are parents of Dreamers who already have legal status under Mr. Obama’s 2012 program. And one is Jose Antonio Vargas, a former Washington Post reporter who was a few months too old to qualify for the Dreamer policy, and whose case has become a flashpoint in the immigration debate.

Mr. Vargas, who travels the country advocating for illegal immigrants, said they often hear complaints from Americans who tell them they should get in the back of the immigration line. But he said that’s impossible for most illegal immigrants, saying there is “no line” for them to get in that would earn them legal status from within the U.S.

“This morning, by submitting our applications, we created a line, a process. Now it’s up to the Obama administration. The ball is in your court, Mr. President,” Mr. Vargas said.

NY church backs out of federal plan to house illegal immigrant children

By Joshua Rhett Miller.

A New York church has dropped its proposal to temporarily house roughly 40 juvenile immigrants who have entered into the United States from Mexico, citing a missed deadline for the federally-funded program and a looming change in leadership.

Rev. Marc Herbst, an assistant to the bishop of the Metropolitan New York Synod-Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, told FoxNews.com that Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Commack has abandoned its plan to house the children for roughly 10-day stays.

“At this point, it just doesn’t look like this is going to be feasible,” Herbst said Tuesday. “At this point, it’s not appropriate to make a decision at this moment because funding is not available and we’re going through transition.”

“Faith-based organizations have a moral imperative to care for these children and to care for them with compassion.”- Maryann Sinclair Slutsky, executive director, Long Island Wins

GOP Rep: illegal immigration costs Americans

By Caroline May.

Each illegal immigrant in the United States costs American citizens, Louisiana Republican Rep. Vance McAllister argued this week at a town hall meeting in his home state, according to The Town Talk.

“Every time one illegal immigrant comes to this country, you lose health care, you lose schooling, you lose education for one our citizens.” McAllister said, according to the local publication, due to their costs.

Rand Paul Slams Obama On Amnesty While Meeting with Guatemalan President

Here performing eye surgeries on blind Guatemalans for several days in the rural town of Salama, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) strongly criticized President Obama’s immigration policy in a closed-door Wednesday meeting with Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina.

“I told him, frankly, that I didn’t think the problem was in Guatemala City but that the problem was in the White House in our country, and that the mess we’ve got at the border is frankly because of the White House’s policies,” Paul said in an interview.

The meeting, he explained, was primarily about the humanitarian mission for which Paul—an ophthalmologist before running for the U.S. Senate in 2010—volunteered his medical services.

“We met for 45 minutes or so, mostly about the humanitarian mission—we talked about the surgeries and the people we met on the trip up there and my son doing a water project for the local school,” Paul told Breitbart News.

But when the conversation with President Molina turned to immigration, Paul let it fly at President Obama over his planned executive amnesty. The tens of thousands of Central Americans streaming across the southern U.S. border has been caused by Obama providing “magnets” for them to come, he said.

Administrative Amnesty: Unjust, Costly, and an Incentive for More Illegal Immigration

By Derrick Morgan and David Inserra.

Abstract
Leaders in Congress have called for greater enforcement of U.S. immigration law, while President Barack Obama continues to call for legalization of millions of illegal immigrants. Deportations, particularly interior enforcement, have decreased dramatically under President Obama, who has made clear his support for granting legal status to those who are in the country unlawfully. Recent press reports indicate that the President is inclined to issue a memo like the Department of Homeland Security’s June 15, 2012, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) memo for a large subset of the illegal immigrant population, perhaps up to 5 million. That would be a mistake for three primary reasons: It is unjust, it is costly, and it will not work to stop illegal immigration.

President Barack Obama is considering using prosecutorial discretion to effectively legalize millions of illegal immigrants. Doing so would be unjust and costly and would encourage more illegal immigration.[1] Congress should discourage the Administration from considering this divisive and unproductive step, which would only make it more difficult to implement suitable, feasible, and just immigration reforms and more robust and effective border security.
Background

Current U.S. law, written and passed by Congress and signed by the President, makes it unlawful for foreign nationals to enter or stay in the country without authorization.[2] Despite this clear provision of law, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimated that about 11.4 million people lived in the United States without authorization in January 2012.[3] Deportations, particularly interior enforcement, have decreased dramatically under President Obama,[4] and he has made clear his support for granting legal status to those who are in the country unlawfully.[5]

The Department of Homeland Security issued the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) memorandum on June 15, 2012. DACA purported to set prosecutorial priorities and grant relief to each individual who (1) came to the U.S. under the age of 16; (2) continuously resided in the U.S. for at least five years before the date of the memo; (3) is currently in school, has graduated from high school, has a GED, or is an honorably discharged veteran; (4) has not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or multiple misdemeanors or otherwise poses a threat; and (5) is not above the age of 30.[6]

In early 2013, debate began on a comprehensive immigration bill that would include an amnesty for most of the unlawful immigrant population. The U.S. Senate passed the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744) in June 2013.[7] In January 2014, the leadership of the House of Representatives issued “principles” for immigration reform[8] that included a general legalization much like S. 744.[9]

Since the issuance of the DACA memo and during debate over a larger amnesty, the number of people unlawfully crossing the U.S. border has increased significantly.[10] Many are turning themselves in, believing that they could qualify for deferred action even though the memorandum requires continuous residence since at least June 15, 2007.[11] Even if they do not qualify for DACA, lax enforcement in general means that most illegal immigrants will not be deported once they enter the interior of the U.S.[12] President Obama and some in Congress sought to advance a comprehensive bill, but momentum for such a measure has collapsed, in part as a result of the massive influx of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border of the United States.

GOP Rep Candice Miller: Massive Illegal Immigration will Destroy US Middle Class

By Tony Lee.

On Wednesday, Rep. Candice Miller (R-MI) warned that if President Barack Obama grants temporary amnesty and work permits to millions of illegal immigrants, he will destroy America’s middle class.

In a Wednesday op-ed for the Detroit News, Miller wrote that “middle- and working-class Americans cannot survive and thrive in a labor marketplace skewed by unskilled, low-wage workers who are here illegally.”
“And our taxpayers cannot bear the burden of providing services – education, health and welfare – to millions of illegals,” she continued.

Lawmakers like Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) have emphasized that massive grants of amnesty only make it more difficult for American workers, especially those at the bottom of the economic ladder, to find jobs.

Moreover, governors and local officials have complained that they do not have the resources to take care of the illegal immigrants that the federal government is dumping in their communities. The Congressional Budget Office last year concluded that the Senate’s comprehensive amnesty bill would lower the wages of American workers for a decade.

Two Alaska GOP Senate Candidates Refuse to Sign Anti-Amnesty Pledge

Two Republican Senate candidates in Alaska refused to sign an anti-amnesty pledge during a Sunday debate.

Conservative candidate Joe Miller asked his two opponents to sign a pledge that reads, “I will oppose any attempt by Congress or the President to grant amnesty (any pathway to citizenship) for illegal aliens.”

Former Alaska Attorney General Dan Sullivan, who is supported by Karl Rove and other pro-amnesty Republicans, and Lt. Gov Mead Treadwell, who has said he supported a pathway to citizenship, refused to sign it…
