One of Fauci’s Own Scientists Reportedly Slams CDC’s Incoming Summer Camp Rules

Scientists slammed the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) strict guidelines for summer camps, including a scientist at Dr. Anthony Fauci’s agency who called the measures “unfair and cruel.”

“With staff and parents vaccinated, there is no reason to continue incredibly strict mitigation efforts or put severe limitations on activities,” an infectious disease scientist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci’s agency, told New York Magazine. “Charitably, masking kids at camp outdoors is simply virtue signaling.”

“Requiring kids to continuously wear masks at camps, even while outside playing in the heat, when it provides little additional protection is unfair and cruel to our children,” the scientist added. “Considering that children are at incredibly low risk for developing severe illness, the minimal benefits of mask-wearing do not outweigh the substantial costs of discouraging children to be active and their overall health.”

Multiple studies have suggested that children are very unlikely to spread coronavirus to one another, even in school settings. The virus is also rarely spread in outdoor settings. When children do get infected with coronavirus, they are far less likely to become seriously ill or die from the virus than their adult counterparts, studies show.

GOP Senator Takes Another Shot at Fauci, Suggests Biden Should ‘Burn’ His Mask to Promote Vaccines

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul took another shot Wednesday at Dr. Anthony Fauci’s insistence that vaccinated people should continue to wear masks before suggesting that President Joe Biden “burn” his in order to promote coronavirus vaccines.

“You might get run over by a car, you might get hit by a meteor,” Paul told Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum during a Wednesday afternoon “The Story” appearance. “The science is about proving that things are happening. If Dr. Fauci can prove that people who are vaccinated are spreading the disease, I will listen to him. If he can prove that people like me who have already had it are spreading the disease, I’ll listen to him. But there is no evidence of that.”

“If you want more people to get vaccinated, Joe Biden should go on national TV, take his mask off, and burn it,” he continued. “Light a torch to it and burn his mask and say, ‘I’ve had the vaccine, I am now safe from this plague. If you’ll get the vaccine, you can be safe too.'”

Fauci: Vaccine Doesn’t Matter, You Still Have To Wear A Mask

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday said vaccinated people should still wear a mask to avoid “inadvertently” spreading the coronavirus or becoming sick themselves — though he acknowledged the risk was “very low.”

The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said it’s still possible for fully vaccinated people to contract the virus.

“What happens is that you might get infected and get absolutely no symptoms, not know you’re infected, and then inadvertently go into a situation with vulnerable people,” Fauci said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

CDC Narrative On COVID Was Just Blown Up By…Fauci?

The fourth COVID wave is canceled now. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s COVID czar, said so. In doing so, he delivered a nuclear strike against the narrative that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been trying to conjure for days. We’re facing impending doom from spring breakers enjoying their time in the sun. Nothing happened. Let’s go back even further to the Conservative Political Action Conference that was held in Orlando last February. Where were the outbreak stories two weeks after that event? The CDC says the vaccinated can travel, only to backtrack in less than 36 hours. What is it, folks? I know many stopped listening to these clowns a long time ago, but now—with vaccinations rolling out swimmingly—it’s truly time to stop panicking. The CDC said a COVID doomsday is coming. Fauci just said, Nah—I don’t think that’s going to happen (via The Hill):

Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious diseases expert, on Tuesday said he is confident the mass vaccination effort underway in the United States will prevent another “explosion” of coronavirus cases and a fourth deadly wave of the pandemic.

“As long as we keep vaccinating people efficiently and effectively, I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” Fauci said of a fourth wave during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “That doesn’t mean that we’re not going to still see an increase in cases.”

Dr. Fauci Fails to Explain Why Restriction-Free State Doesn’t Have COVID Uptick

It’s been some five weeks since Texas lifted its mask mandate, and there has yet to be an explosion of COVID-19 cases.

It’s something Dr. Anthony Fauci can’t quite explain.

“I’m not really quite sure,” he told MSNBC this week. “It could be they’re doing things outdoors.”

Daily cases in Texas hovered above 7,000 in early March, when Gov. Greg Abbott lifted the state’s mask rules, leaving it up to individuals and organizations to make their own decisions. . .

“We’ve been fooled before by situations where people begin to open back up. Nothing happens and then all of a sudden several weeks later things explode on you, so we’ve got to be careful we don’t prematurely judge that,” he added. Trump Returns Fire, Trashes ‘Self-Promoters’ Fauci and Birx

Former President Donald Trump on Monday attacked Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx after they faulted his management of the COVID-19 response.

The prominent members of Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force said in a CNN special that Trump imperiled the public — but in his rebuttal, Trump accused them of shifting blame.

Trump included jabs at Fauci’s botched opening pitch at a baseball game in July and Birx’s controversy involving a seemingly hypocritical Thanksgiving trip.

“Based on their interviews, I felt it was time to speak up about Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned,” Trump said in the emailed statement.

Dr. Fauci Wants Donald Trump’s Help with COVID

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, now wants former President Donald Trump’s help after he has repeatedly taken shots at the former president in the months since the election.

Fauci made the remarks during an interview on Sunday with Fox News host Chris Wallace after Wallace played clips of four former presidents encouraging people to get vaccinated. . .

“Doctor, how much of a difference will it make if President Trump, who was largely responsible for the success of Operation Warp Speed, how much of a difference will it make if President Trump leads a campaign for the people who are most devoted to him to actually go out and get the vaccine?” Wallace asked.

Fauci responded by saying that if Trump led a campaign for his followers to get vaccinated that it “would make all the difference in the world.”

“He’s a very widely popular person among Republicans,” Fauci said. “If he came out and said, go and get vaccinated, it’s really important for your health, the health of your family and the health of the country, it seems absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are his close followers would listen to him. He’s such a strongly popular person. I cannot imagine that if he comes out that they would not get vaccinated. Dr. Fauci’s Daughter Works for Twitter

The daughter of the coronavirus task force director Dr. Anthony Fauci works for the social media platform Twitter and some are calling it a conflict of interest.

Alison Christine Fauci, 28, has worked for the microblogging platform as a software engineer since 2014 after she graduated from Stanford University, majoring in computer science.

The connection between the controversial epidemiologist and Twitter had been reported at Heavy.com since at least March 2020 but it resurfaced as many questioned censorship of lockdown-skeptical voices on the platform.

She said on her LinkedIn profile that she focused on developing “ad formats for the Twitter for Android app.” That profile has since been deleted or made private.

Twitter has been among the big tech companies who have shut down the spread of those arguing against the efficacy of masks and lockdowns to fight the spread of the coronavirus. In one instance from Aug. 2020, the service suspended the Trump campaign account over a video containing information they deemed misleading about the pandemic. Let’s Hope Fauci Is Wrong Again With This Latest Prediction

Dr. Anthony Fauci doesn’t see Americans outgrowing their face diapers anytime soon. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said on Sunday that he can’t rule out Americans wearing face masks in 2022. Hopefully, the nation’s top “expert” flip-flops on this as he has with so many other things in the past.

“I think it is possible that that’s the case and, again, it really depends on what you mean by normality,” Fauci said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” when asked whether Americans will still be wearing face masks next year.

Fauci said he would like to see the level of coronavirus infections come down in communities to a level where “there’s virtually no threat.”

“If you see the level coming down really, really very low, I want it to keep going down to a baseline that’s so low that there’s virtually no threat,” said Fauci.
