Watch: Antifa Mob Brutally Assaults Journalist, 3 Arrests Made

By Daily Wire. A journalist who regularly covers demonstrations by the left-wing group Antifa has been assaulted and robbed.

Andy Ngo, who has written previously about his experiences covering the violent group for The Daily Wire, tweeted shortly before 1 p.m. local time that he had been attacked.

“Attacked by antifa. Bleeding. They stole my camera equipment. No police until after. waiting for ambulance. If you have evidence Of attack please help,” wrote Ngo, who is an editor for Quillette.

One opponent of Ngo’s presence and reporting told him he “wanted” to get attacked and had gone to the protest “to antagonize” the members of Antifa. Others cheered the attack.

Ian Miles Cheong wrote at Human Events that the attack happened while the Rose City Antifa group protested against a group of right-wing provocateurs known as the Proud Boys (who have also become violent at their protests). Cheong reported that police “responded to the demonstrations by cordoning off various intersections and preventing the groups from clashing.”

Three People Arrested During Protests in Downtown Portland; Police Seek Information on Assaults

By Fox News 12. Opposing groups gathered in downtown Portland on Saturday, leading to marches, violence, a large police presence and the closure of Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Police said three people were arrested in connection with the demonstrations that lasted for hours Saturday, with more arrests possible.

The arrested suspects were identified as:

Gage Halupowski, 23, on charges of second-degree assault and assault on a public safety officer.
James K. Stocks, 21, on the charge of harassment.
Maria C. Dehart, 23, on the charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment.

Watch: Transgender Speaking Against Teaching Kids Gender Identity Triggers Alleged Antifa Member to Go Crazy

During a speech at the University of British Columbia by Jenn Smith, who is transgender but opposes teaching children about sexual orientation and gender identity, an alleged member of Antifa went crazy, rushing out, striking an innocent bystander and ending up being detained by police while screaming hysterically.

Smith was speaking on “how transgender politics in school and society is undermining our freedom and harming women and children” as protesters were outside. A fire alarm sounded, and as it rang out the Antifa member bolted out of her seat and up the stairs. Smith said of the alleged Antifa member, “I think the original intent was to go after me but she got spooked by RCMP near me and instead charged out of the building and flailed at the man at the back. This is a pattern of harassment. When I did my Vancouver Island tour I had a group of apparently professional protesters following me from town to town causing disruptions.” . . .

Smith’s events at Douglas College in New Westminster and Trinity Western University in Langley were both canceled after the schools found out about the nature of the events. The Douglas College event was scheduled for June 8. After it was canceled, Smith wrote, “What we are seeing today is a complete collapse of freedom of speech, while the institutions traditionally tasked with protecting free speech completely abrogate their responsibilities. Antifa Leader Arrested on Assault, ‘Ethnic Intimidation’ Charges for Attack on Marines

A former leader of “Antifa” and an organizer for “Smash Racism DC” — the group that was briefly running Trump administration officials and allies out of Washington, D.C. restaurants, was arrested and charged this week for an assault on two Marines that included “ethnic intimidation.”

The Daily Caller, whose reporting originally exposed D.C. area “community organizer” Joseph “Jose” Alcoff, says Alcoff was booked on January 10 on 17 separate charges, including “multiple counts of aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, conspiracy and terroristic threats, and one count of robbery while inflicting serious bodily injury” in connection with a coordinated Antifa attack on Marines Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres back in November.

The pair of Marines “testified in December that a group of 10 to 12 Antifa members called them ‘Nazis’ and ‘white supremacists’ and attacked them on the street despite their denials that they had no association with the right-wing group demonstrating nearby.”

“During the attack, Godinez said he shouted ‘I’m Mexican’ at the mob, which allegedly led the attackers to call him a ‘spic’ and ‘wetback,'” the Caller reported at the time. . .

Alcoff is, of course, an avowed “anti-Capitalist” who regularly participates in “anti-Fascist” demonstrations across the Eastern seaboard. His involvement with Antifa, however, is only a part-time gig. He also leads a group called “Smash Racism DC,” which rose to prominence in the summer of 2018 for their in-person protests of Trump administration officials like Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and White House allies on the issue of immigration, like Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). Leftist to 9/11 Widow: ‘Your Husband Should F–King Rot in the Grave’

A leftist who appeared to be an Antifa protester, verbally accosted a woman during protests over the weekend in Portland, Oregon, telling her that her deceased husband should “rot in the grave.”

The incident appears to have happened on Saturday after “a conservative group organized a ‘flash march for Law and Order,'” The Washington Post reported. . .

The woman turned around and pointed at her NYPD hat, saying, “My husband died on 9/11.”

“Good for him,” the man responded. “Good, good. NYPD was a bunch of sodomizers, f–king sodomizing immigrants with their bully sticks.”

Antifa Rages: Patriot Prayer Rally in Portland Turns Bloody; American Flag Saved From Flames

By Daily Wire. A massive brawl broke out Saturday night in Portland, Oregon, at a Patriot Prayer Rally, which descended into chaos when Antifa leftists arrived.

The two opposing groups squared off in the streets, using clubs and fists to beat each other. The brawl, which lasted just one minute, was broken up by riot cops, who quickly fired pepper balls at the street fighters, The Oregonian reported.

Ironically, the protest was billed as a “law and order” demonstration. But police reported seeing members of both groups wearing hard-knuckle gloves and carrying knives and clubs. . .

This isn’t the first time that Antifa has caused chaos in the liberal city. On Saturday in Portland, Oregon, Antifa protesters got in the middle of downtown traffic and started forcing drivers to follow their directions, cursing the drivers and even chasing down one elderly driver who didn’t follow their orders. Bear Spray, Bloody Brawls at Patriot Prayer ‘Law and Order’ March in Portland

By The Oregonian. A demonstration billed as a march for “law and order” in the streets of Portland descended into chaos as rival political factions broke into bloody brawls downtown Saturday night.

Members of the right-wing group Patriot Prayer and their black-clad adversaries, known as antifa, used bear spray, bare fists and batons to thrash each other outside Kelly’s Olympian, a popular bar on Southwest Washington Street. . .

The Portland Police Bureau reported seeing protest and counter-protest participants outfitted with hard knuckle gloves, knives and firearms earlier in the evening. Antifa Vandals Hit GOP Headquarters: ‘Attack Is Merely a Beginning’

The Metropolitan Republican Club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side was vandalized Thursday night with broken windows, spray-painted anarchy signs, and a threatening message that the “attack is merely a beginning.” . . .

The attack happened just weeks after vandals spray-painted an Illinois Republican Party office in Winnebago County with the words “rape” and “shame” on the building, Fox News reported. . .

“Last night the Metropolitan Republican Club was vandalized by the leftist hate group Antifa, who also left a note promising ‘this is just the beginning’ and threatening more violence,” the Met Club said in a statement on Twitter. “Republicans are a minority party in NYC by a wide margin, and while most city residents are respectful of our activities, our grassroots actions are often met with hostility. Last night’s shameful attack by Antifa cowards represents a tragic new low.”

“Sadly this is only the most recent example of leftist violence and aggression against the Conservative Movement,” the statement continued. “But rest assured that we will not be intimidated by violence, threats, or hate speech. We will continue to fight for freedom of speech and liberty here in New York City and all across this great nation.”

New York Republican Chairman Ed Cox and Manhattan GOP Chairwoman A.J. Catsimatidis were expected to condemn the vandalism, call on Democrats to stop inciting these attacks, and urge civility at a press conference Friday at 2 p.m. in front of the Metropolitan Republican Club in Manhattan. Wait, Did CNN’s Don Lemon Just Defend Antifa?

CNN’s Don Lemon appeared to defend the violent group Antifa on Tuesday for “fighting” racists and fascists, arguing that “no organization is perfect.”

“It says it right in the name: Antifa. Anti-fascism, which is what they were there [in Charlottesville] fighting,” Lemon said on the Tuesday broadcast of his show.

“Listen, no organization’s perfect. There was some violence. No one condones violence, but there were different reasons for Antifa and for these neo-Nazis to be there. One, racists, fascists, the other group, fighting racist fascists. There is a distinction there,” he added.

Antifa’s violence has been widespread. To name just a few examples, the black-clad anarchists assaulted at least five people taking part in a peaceful Berkeley protest last year; they started bloody fights in the streets of Oregon during a Patriot Prayer rally in June; 16 were arrested after clashing with police during a Blue Lives Matter march earlier this month; and violence broke out in Charlottesville, Virginia at a second Unite the Right rally this month.

Lemon’s comments came after President Trump reportedly told evangelical leaders at the White House earlier this week that GOP losses in the upcoming midterm election could lead to the left “violently” overturning the gains his administration has made for the Christian community. Left-Wing Antifa Thugs Attack Media and Police

On Saturday evening, NBC News correspondent Cal Perry and his camera crew were assaulted by a group of violent Antifa members in Charlottesville, VA. Antifa claimed they were there to promote safety during the one year anniversary of Heather Heyer’s death, but video footage shows this to be the opposite.

As noted by Newsbusters, one Twitter user responded to the scenes of violence perpetrated by Antifa by saying “f**k off media vulture.” Perry replied, “Yeah. We’re getting a lot of this. Protesters trying to grab our camera.

This morning, Perry praised the actions of Charlottesville police for keeping the situation relatively under control. He posted more footage showing hordes of let-wig anarchists hurling epithets against police, advocating violence, and resisting arrest.

Female Patriot Prayer Member Clobbers Antifa Goon on Camera

. . .Violence was on full display several days ago in Portland, Oregon, a distinctly liberal city. That’s where the right-leaning group Patriot Prayer was protested by the far-left and frequently violent group “antifa,” and one video clip from the melee has gone viral.

During a clash between Patriot Prayer, antifa, and a far-right group called the Proud Boys, all hell broke loose… but footage of a female Patriot member not just holding her own but physically dominating an antifa goon shows that the radical left may have bitten off more than it can chew.

“#Antifa would like you to refrain from making this into a GIF and using it all the time,” wrote Adam Richard on Twitter, along with a short clip of the altercation. “It’s not good for their image when their [Antifa] ‘soldiers’ get the s–t kicked out of them by Patriot Women. #PatriotPrayer.”

In the footage, a woman who is apparently part of the right-leaning Patriot Prayer group appears to have gotten the best of an antifa rioter, and pummels him on the ground as cameras record the action. . .

Walmart Selling Antifa ‘Fan Gear’

Walmart is selling “Antifa” clothing that “will [allow you to] express yourself inside the opposition to the ideology, organizations, governments and people from the far right (fascism).”

The mega-retailer is offering at least 13 different sweatshirts “made in Mexico of 100% COTTON for all-day comfort” promoting the group whose activities were “formally classified” by the Obama Administration “as domestic terrorist violence” as early as April 2016, according to Politico, despite the group’s efforts to downplay this determination.

“Antifa,” or Anti-Fascist Action, is an informal grouping of communist, anarchist, and other far-left street gangs. Drawing inspiration from the German Communist Party’s street fighters of the 1930s, the modern movement grew out of the European far-left punk scene in the 1980s. These unapologetically violent bands of leftists were largely unknown in the United States until recent years, when America’s post-Occupy Wall Street far-left began adopting the name.

Antifa is well known for dozens of violent crimes against people they consider “fascists” on both sides of the Atlantic. As Breitbart News’s Ian Mason cataloged, to Antifa, “fascists” include “in no particular order”:

…Trump supporters, other Trump supporters, members of Germany’s populist AfD party, a 20-year-old woman who chose to wear a Spanish-flag bracelet, a Philadelphia free speech rally, former UKIP and Brexit leader Nigel Farage, libertarian VICE News co-founder Gavin McInnes, French policemen, and Israeli-owned bookstores. Interesting, a Salafist Muslim who attacked a “filthy white” Antifa writer because he disrespected Islam does not qualify.
