Congress just passed, and President Barack Obama has signed, a bill that bans an environmentally harmful product ingredient included in many personal care products, an ingredient that is so common that nearly every American has it in their homes.
Congress has passed the Microbead-Free Waters Act of 2015, which puts a ban on “microbeads,” contained in many bodywashes, toothpastes and soaps.
Microbeads are tiny plastic balls that cleaning product makers say serve as skin exfoliants. But the problem with these little devices is that they never break down as they wash down the drain.
Scientists say the tiny beads flow through our sewer systems but are so small that they aren’t screened out before being dumped into our waterways. Worse, once in our lakes, streams and rivers, microbeads get eaten by fish and other wildlife. The beads cannot be digested and often end up killing the wildlife.
“In New York state alone, 19 tons of microbeads are washed down the drain each year,” Business Insider reports.
“Microbeads are highly damaging to the natural environment and the wildlife that live there,” a press release from the Wildlife Conservation Society says. “Because natural alternatives already exist, a ban on their use in personal care products makes perfect sense.” (Read more from “Obama Just Banned Products Containing THIS Common Ingredient – You Probably Own One of Them…” HERE)

Iconic American comedian Jerry Lewis slammed Barack Obama and praised Donald Trump in an interview on World Over with Raymond Arroyo.
“Refugees should stay where the hell they are,” said Lewis bluntly. “Hey, no one has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but they’re not part of the human condition. If 11 guys in the group of 10,000 are ISIS—how can I take that chance?”
Lewis is not alone in this feeling; as of last month at least 31 governors rejected President Obama’s push to accept Syrian refugees into their states. Reports of ISIS now having access to a machine that makes American passports and recent revelations of the holes in our vetting system, borne out in the horrific San Bernardino terror attack, are just a couple of the factors legitimizing such pushback from the American people.
Lewis then said that President Obama was “never prepared” for ISIS and suggested that he was not a real leader . . .
“I think he’s great,” said Lewis of Trump. “He’s a showman and we’ve never had a showman in the president’s chair.”

Our Framers vested the people’s representatives – the United States Congress – with plenary power over immigration. At the core of the social compact and the unalienable right to governance by the consent of the governed, as echoed in the preamble of the Declaration of Independence, is the notion that the citizens who formed that compact have the right to determine who joins their society.
Over the years, Congress has (for the most part) done its job and passed statutes protecting our sovereignty. But the executive branch, and more recently, the federal courts, have ignored our laws and the will of the people. Here are two stories just from this week on how both the Obama administration and the unelected federal courts are violating that sovereignty. This is the worst form of social transformation without representation and will be the focus of my upcoming book next year.
Suspension of Deportations
Yesterday, the Department of Homeland Security released its deportation numbers for 2015. The numbers are not pretty. Here are the salient bullet points from the Center for Immigration Studies:
Total deportations by ICE (including both border and interior cases) declined 25% from last year, from 315,943 in 2014 to 235,413 in 2015.
Interior deportations by ICE declined 31% from last year, from 100,114 in 2014 to 69,478 in 2015.
Most concerning, deportations of criminal aliens from the interior declined 27% from last year, from 86,923 in 2014 to 63,127 in 2015.
Remember, this drop is just for 2015. It is the fourth consecutive year with a sharp drop in deportations from the previous year. Since Obama began his amnesty programs in 2011, deportations have dropped to less than one-third their annual level prior to Obama’s suspension of congressional statutes. What about criminal aliens? Wasn’t the purpose of amnesty to focus just on criminal aliens? They also plummeted by almost 60%.

Judicial Amnesty for Homosexual Illegal Aliens
In a disturbing trend, even the few individual illegal aliens this administration is willing to deport are being released into our population by federal judges – the unelected branch of government that has no authority over immigration. Two of the many ways they are granting judicial amnesty is by applying international law or by abusing our asylum statutes to suspend deportations of illegal aliens who declare themselves homosexual or transgender.
In September, we reported on a Ninth Circuit judge who suspended the deportation of a dangerous criminal alien claiming to be transgendered and in fear of returning home to Mexico. Yesterday, the Miami Herald reported that a federal judge in Florida is granting full amnesty to José Crespo-Cagnant, an illegal alien who crossed over from Mexico using false identity on multiple occasions. The judge, who was appointed by George H. W. Bush, sided with the illegal immigrant who claimed that, because he is homosexual, he has a well-founded fear of persecution were he to be repatriated to Mexico. Even though the border patrol agent asserts that he never heard Crespo-Cagnant express a fear of persecution. The agent complied with the ridiculous regulations required to place him in deportation proceedings, yet the judge sided with the illegal alien.
We now have unelected judges determining who gets to stay in this country by simply concocting a super-right – a de facto affirmative right to immigrate for any homosexual from a third world country. This is what happens when we allow the court system to create new protected classes and super-rights for foreign nationals at the expense of the unalienable rights of the sovereign citizen. The courts must be stripped of their jurisdiction to adjudicate these cases otherwise we will no longer determine our own destiny.
Let us not forget the words of Gouverneur Morris, one of the key drafters of the Constitution, at the Constitutional Convention: “every society from a great nation down to a club had the right of declaring the conditions on which new members should be admitted.” It’s time we exercise that right and demand Congress reassert the will of the people over the lawlessness of the unelected branches of government. For decades, Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr. put his life and his energies into protecting and serving the people of Milwaukee County. Though always a man of strong opinions, it was when the White House cheered a war on police and pushed through pro-crime policies, freeing drug dealers while locking up police officers that he emerged as a national figure of unquestionable moral authority.
When Attorney General Eric Holder met Sheriff Clarke he sneered, “What’s up with the hat?” Political opponents have mocked Sheriff Clarke as a “big cowboy.” And indeed, the Sheriff of Milwaukee County wears a cowboy hat and he can be seen riding a horse. He also preaches “cowboy values” like speaking frankly and telling people that they have to be ready to stand up to criminals . . .
Underneath that cowboy hat is a law enforcement professional with a degree in Criminal Justice Management¸ who has passed through training and leadership programs at Harvard and Quantico, the former Commanding Officer of the Intelligence Division of the Milwaukee Police Department, who knows both the theory of law enforcement and its grim reality at every level. Along the way, Clarke had earned a reputation for standing up for the men and women in law enforcement under his leadership.
When he fought back against the White House’s war on police, he was doing what he had always done.
“In the early days of this cop hating we didn’t have a voice to counter that message: we are racist, blood-thirsty. We didn’t have a counter narrative which is why I stepped up and tried to be that counter narrative,” Clarke explained. “I realized once I started taking on the attorney general and the president of the United States I was in the deep end of the pool. President Barack Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii, released a pre-Christmas statement yesterday, celebrating the fifth anniversary of his having signed legislation that allows openly homosexual, lesbian and bisexual individuals to serve in the U.S. military.
“Today, Americans can serve the country they love no matter who they love, and openly gay, lesbian and bisexual men and women in uniform make our military stronger and America safer,” said the president.

Five years ago today, I signed a bipartisan bill repealing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’–extending our country’s promise of equality to those who protect it every day. Today, Americans can serve the country they love no matter who they love, and openly gay, lesbian and bisexual men and women in uniform make our military stronger and America safer.
Since the repeal of DADT, I’ve received hundreds of letters from service members who can now serve their country openly. They come from every corner of America and from military bases around the world. And their stories are a powerful reminder of how much has changed over the past five years. Because of all we’ve accomplished together, a grieving widow can now receive her wife’s flag at her funeral. A spouse can now be part of his husband’s promotion ceremony. One person told me he had been torn between his desire to serve his country and his longing to live life openly as a gay man. He no longer is forced to make that choice. And just last summer, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy.

The Executive Office of the President of the United States — aka Barack Obama — released a document in the days leading up to Christmas that proves once again that reality conspires against even the most careful liars.
The White House intended the document in question — dryly titled “Long-Term Benefits of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program” — to build the case for expanding the value and availability of food stamps.
What the document demonstrates is that even the Obama White House knows that an unborn child is a child . . .
When Obama was an Illinois state senator in 2001, as this column noted in 2008, state Sen. Patrick O’Malley introduced a trio of bills designed to protect the right to life of babies surviving abortions. One of these defined a fully born abortion-surviving baby as a “person,” “human being,” “child” and “individual” . . .
The paper says women are “mothers” while still only pregnant. Responding to the deadliest attack against U.S. forces in Afghanistan in more than three years, the White House issued a statement Monday saying its “thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and their loved ones.”
“We express our deepest condolences to the families of the six U.S. service members killed and to all of those injured in today’s Taliban attack near Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan,” said the statement, issued by White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
There was no statement from President Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii with his family. Obama played golf on Monday afternoon at the Mid-Pacific Country Club, after a morning workout at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
“Obama attempted a chip shot of about 40 feet and made it into the hole,” an AP report stated at the end of the afternoon’s golf. “He reacted by dropping his wedge and raising his hat and arms into the air. He then pointed his finger at the media and tipped his hat and waved toward the gallery watching him from the road.”
According to Operation Resolute Support public affairs office, the suicide bombing that killed six American troops at Bagram, the largest U.S. base in the country, occurred at around 1:30 PM on Monday – around 4 AM Monday in Washington, and 11 PM Sunday night in Honolulu. The Number 3 and Number 2 items on his list are the nationwide legalization of same-sex marriage and what he calls the “Christmas Miracles” of the budget deal he made with the Republican Congress and the new law he signed, enacted by the Republican Congress, that re-authorizes Department of Education programs.
The Number 1 item on Obama’s list is his belief that Americans worked to achieve things he admires.
