Americans oppose President Joe Biden’s lawless and wage-cutting mass migration because they are racist, not because of their economic worries, according to former President Barack Obama.

“Right now, the biggest fuel behind the Republican agenda is related to immigration and the fear that somehow America’s character is going to be changed if, people of darker shades, there are too many of them here,” Obama told a meeting of Hispanic realtors on September 25 in San Diego, California.

Obama used his divide-and-rule claims of racism to hide the public opposition to migration’s economic impact, according to his comments posted in a September 25 report by the San Diego Union-Tribune:

I wish I could be more euphemistic about it except [they’re] not that subtle about it — they’re just kind of saying it,” Obama said. “You hear it on hard-right media, you hear it from candidates and politicians, you hear things like ‘great replacement theory’ — I mean, this is not subtle. Unless we’re able to return to a more inclusive vision inside the Republican Party, it’s going to be hard to get a bill done.

David Axelrod, a former adviser to Barack Obama during his presidency, raised a “major” red flag about the possibility of President Joe Biden’s plans to run for re-election in 2024.

The former Obama adviser’s statements appeared in a Saturday New York Times report that examined the growing presence of prominent Democrats who are increasingly worried about Biden’s leadership, the Washington Examiner reported.

Axelrod specifically noted his concerns with Biden’s elevated age noting that Biden would be nearly 90-years-old by the end of his second term if he wins reelection.

In public, former President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden exhibit a deep bond, but behind the scenes, their rapport is fraught with tension, according to a new book.

Since Biden ascended to the presidency, Obama has felt envious of his former vice president and has “complicated feelings” about him being commander in chief, according to the new book, This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, by Alexander Burns and Jonathan Martin, obtained by Fox News.

“Nancy Pelosi, who spoke regularly with the former president, came away from her conversations with Obama during this period with a matter-of-fact diagnosis. She told a friend: ‘Obama is jealous of Biden,’” the book claims.

Obama and the president have “occasionally” had discussions over the phone during Biden’s presidency, but the talks were “hardly the stuff of the tight brotherhood both men had sold to the country as a cheery political fable,” according to the book.
