Cancer-Stricken Kids Beg Bernie Sanders to Pass Life-Saving Bill — After the Senator Was Branded ‘Evil’ for Blocking It

Jacob Knudsen would give anything to be an ordinary college freshman. . .

“There is something currently in my lung, and there’s a 50-50 chance that it’s cancer,” the “panicked” 18-year-old California native told The Post ahead of diagnostic scans. “I’m willing to bleed, I’m willing to lose limbs, I’m willing to lose organs, I’m willing to do anything just to survive.”

Knudsen was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was 12, and has since endured 21 surgeries and countless, grueling rounds of chemotherapy and radiation after tumors were subsequently discovered in his lungs, on a kidney and a lymph node. . .

Amid the anxiety over whether illness remains lurking in his body, Knudsen is pushing for the passage of the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act — a bipartisan bill named after his friend, a fellow osteosarcoma patient and advocate who died late last year at 16. . .

Last month, the bill — designed to allow pediatric cancer patients to participate in clinical trials and to ensure them access to key treatments — passed unanimously in the House.

Shockingly, when the bill moved to the Senate, it was opposed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, who demanded a quid pro quo be attached for the funding of other efforts, such as community health centers. ‘Tax the Rich’ Chant Breaks Out as Bernie Sanders Swears In NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani

A raucous chant of “tax the rich” broke out as Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders blasted the wealthy and called out “hatred and divisiveness” before swearing in fellow democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani as New York City mayor.

“At a time in our country’s history when we are seeing too much hatred, too much divisiveness and too much injustice, thank you for electing Zohran Mamdani as your mayor,” Sanders said outside City Hall.

He then argued that Mamdani’s socialist agenda, including free buses and taxing the rich was not “radical,” sparking the chant.

After Sanders administered the ceremonial oath of office to Mamdani, the new mayor addressed the crowd, saying he planned to govern “expansively and audaciously.”

For too long, he argued, New York belonged to the “wealthy and well connected,” but no longer, Mamdani vowed. (Read more from “‘Tax the Rich’ Chant Breaks Out as Bernie Sanders Swears In NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani” HERE)

Bernie Sanders: Biden Set ‘Dangerous’ Precedent by Pardoning Son

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said during an interview over the weekend that President Joe Biden set a “dangerous” precedent by pardoning his son.

Sanders made the remarks during a Sunday interview on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” with Kristen Welker when asked about whether the administration should give blanket pardons to current officials so that they are immune from prosecution under the incoming Trump administration.

“Well, I’m a little bit nervous about it,” he said, adding that the White House “might want to consider” preemptive pardons “very seriously.”

Welker then asked Sanders about Biden’s lies to the American public that he would not pardon his son, convicted felon Hunter Biden.

Bernie Sanders Admits ‘Elon Musk Is Right,’ Backs DOGE if It Makes Major Cuts in This Department

. . .Lefty Sen. Bernie Sanders turned heads Sunday with his support for President-elect Donald Trump’s planned new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — providing it takes aim at the Pentagon’s cushy budget.

“Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It’s lost track of billions,” the 83-year-old Vermont senator posted on X.

“Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change,” the Independent Party pol added.

Trump had announced shortly after winning last month’s election that tech mogul Elon Musk, 53, and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, 39, would serve as the co-heads of DOGE until it concludes its work by July 4, 2026.

Despite the planned new agency’s cryptocurrency- and meme-inspired name, DOGE is not actually a government department but instead an outside organization that will coordinate with the White House and Office of Management and Budget to root out waste. 2019 Ranking Service Rated Kamala Harris as Most Liberal Senator, Further Left Than Even Bernie Sanders

Vice President Kamala Harris was rated the most liberal senator in 2019 — further left than even Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) — according to a GovTrack scorecard.

Harris, whom President Joe Biden opted to back after announcing that he will not seek reelection after all, was viewed as the most liberal senator prior to her becoming vice president.

According to GovTrack, the ideology analysis assigns a score to lawmakers according to their “legislative behavior by whether they sponsor and cosponsor overlapping sets of bills and resolutions with other Members of Congress.”

“The score can be interpreted as a left–right scale measuring the dominant ideological difference or differences among Members of Congress, although of course it only takes into account a small aspect of reality,” it explains.

In a list of all 100 senators in 2019, Harris scored #100, winning the title of the most leftist senator. For greater perspective, Sanders came in right behind her at #99. On the flip side, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) scored as the most conservative senator that year. Here’s How Much You Have to Pay Bernie Sanders to Hear Him Bash Capitalism

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermontistan) has got the greatest gig on earth. It’s a job anyone can do, as long as you’re missing a conscience and a sense of irony.

Next week, Sanders will hold court at a hip music venue in Washington, D.C., during an event titled “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.” There, he’ll hype his new book “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.”

So here’s what’s great. The top-tier tickets — sold through Ticketmaster, the scourge of the universe — will cost you $95. But no they won’t. Ticketmaster tacks on a $16.45 “service fee” even when you order a ticket online.

The venue, called The Anthem, holds about 2,500 people when it’s configured for such an event. The prices range from $35 to $95, but most are $75 and above. Let’s say he sells half the tickets at an average of $75, that’d haul in $93,750. Nearly $100,000 to hear a millionaire bash capitalism.

Here’s another great thing: Buy a ticket priced $55 and above, and you get a free copy of his new book, “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.” (Read more from “Here’s How Much You Have to Pay Bernie Sanders to Hear Him Bash Capitalism” HERE)

These Are the Potential Democratic 2024 Presidential Hopefuls

Sen. Bernie Sanders appeared for the first time on a Washington Post ranking of potential Democratic presidential hopefuls — that also showed Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg pulling ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris in the No. 2 slot behind President Biden.

Progressive lightning rod Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez remained at No. 10 in the newspaper’s survey of possible contenders in the 2024 election, as California Gov. Gavin Newsom jumped two spots to No. 7 right behind Sanders, and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer debuted on the list at No. 8.

Biden wasn’t included in the rankings compiled in December 2021 because of speculation at the time that he would be a one-term president and because polls showed that Democratic-leaning voters narrowly preferred “someone not named Biden on the ballot in 2024.”

But the Washington Post began including Biden’s name to the list in its April rankings and in the most recent survey.

“The reason: There might come a time when the incumbent president isn’t the most likely nominee the next time around, for whatever reason. And his own 2024 maneuverings were suddenly very much worth evaluating in real time,” the newspaper said. (Read more from “These Are the Potential Democratic 2024 Presidential Hopefuls” HERE)

Is Bernie Sanders Running in 2024?

Sen. Bernie Sanders has not closed the door on a 2024 campaign for the White House, according to a leaked memo.

The Vermont independent, who ran campaigns in the last two cycles and is now 80, “has not ruled out another run for president” in the event President Joe Biden does not seek reelection, according to the memo distributed to allies written by Faiz Shakir, a senior adviser to Sanders.

“In the event of an open 2024 Democratic presidential primary, Sen. Sanders has not ruled out another run for president, so we advise that you answer any questions about 2024 with that in mind,” says the memo, according to a Washington Post report Wednesday.

Sanders spokesman Mike Casca told the news outlet that the assertion in the memo was based on a recent poll. “While it’s frustrating this private memo leaked to the media, the central fact remains true, which is that Sen. Sanders is the most popular officeholder in the country,” Casca said. (Read more from “Is Bernie Sanders Running in 2024?” HERE)

Democratic Socialists Ignore Cuba’s Crackdown on Protesters Demanding Freedom From Communism (VIDEO)

As thousands of protesters take to the streets in Cuba demonstrating against the evil communist regime that has had them in a stranglehold for more than 60 years, Democratic Socialists such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders are totally ignoring them.

Protests erupted on Sunday in cities across Cuba and there was not a peep from Democratic Socialists in America acknowledging the historic occurrence just 90 miles from Florida.

Fox News reportedly emailed Sanders and Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rashida Tlaib. None of them responded and they haven’t even mentioned the massive protests on social media.

As Cubans are demonstrating against horrific food shortages, skyrocketing prices, and the pandemic, the left is eerily silent. The only thing that they reacted with was to call on President Biden to lift the U.S. embargo and sanctions on Cuba which will not resolve their problems.

Demonstrators chanted in the streets, “Enough!,” “Freedom!” and “Unite!” American flags were being flown and displayed during the protests. (Read more from “Democratic Socialists Ignore Cuba’s Crackdown on Protesters Demanding Freedom From Communism” HERE)

Democrats Design Fallback Far-Left $6 Trillion Infrastructure Plan Without GOP

Senate Democrats and Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are designing a $6 trillion fallback infrastructure plan for reconciliation if the $1.2 trillion bipartisan plan fails.

“Senate Democrats are weighing spending as much as $6 trillion on their own infrastructure package if the chamber’s bipartisan talks fail, according to two sources familiar with the matter,” Politico reported.

“The bipartisan talks could impact us, but we’re going to keep going,” Sanders said Wednesday about the reported scheme of shoving “$2.5 trillion would go through the Finance Committee, $185 billion through the Energy Committee, and almost $500 billion through the Environment and Public Works Committee.”

On Wednesday, a bipartisan group of 21 Senators released a $1.2 trillion proposal in which tax increases are excluded, presumably along with global warming initiatives.

The $6 trillion fallback plan may become useful if negotiations over the bipartisan plan fail due to far-left Democrats’ demands of including tax hikes and “climate change” measures. (Read more from “Democrats Design Fallback Far-Left $6 Trillion Infrastructure Plan Without GOP” HERE)
