WATCH: Detroit Rally for Joe Biden Descends Into Chaos — and He Blames Trump

Left-wing protesters interrupted a political rally for Joe Biden in Detroit, Michigan, but he blamed President Donald Trump for the pandemonium.

Two sets of protesters disrupted the rally for the Democratic presidential front-runner. One was protesting against the NAFTA trade agreement, while the other advocated for the “Green New Deal.”

“The Bernie Bros are here!” Biden said in response. “Let them go, folks, that’s OK! This is not a Trump rally!”

Biden lost control of the rally for several minutes as the protesters chanted against him and his supporters counter-chanted, “Let’s go, Joe!”

Bernie Sanders’ Radical Abortion Agenda: ‘Free’ Abortion for Everyone, Banning Abstinence Sex Ed, and Defunding Crisis Pregnancy Centers

2020 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) rolled out his “reproductive health” — i.e. abortion — agenda over the weekend and it contains some extreme positions that are par for the course for the rest of his far-left and expensive political agenda.

Sanders’ abortion plan also addresses how America’s children would be educated on the subject of sex by vowing to ban “ineffective abstinence-only sex education,” rather than leaving the question of sexual education curricula up to parents and educators. . .

“As President, Bernie will work tirelessly to undo the damage Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have done,” the plan says, referencing the White House and Senate’s efforts to fill federal judicial vacancies under President Trump. “That means working with reproductive justice and advocacy groups to fill vacancies with highly qualified, principled judges who will protect reproductive rights at every level.”

On that front, Sanders’ proposal says guarantees that he would require “all judicial nominees to support Roe v. Wade as settled law” and that the 1973 abortion ruling would also be codified in “legislative statute.” (Read more from “Bernie Sanders’ Radical Abortion Agenda: ‘Free’ Abortion for Everyone, Banning Abstinence Sex Ed, and Defunding Crisis Pregnancy Centers” HERE)

Is Biden’s 24-Point Michigan Lead Deceptive? It Was for Hillary Clinton in 2016

Joe Biden has a 24-point lead over Bernie Sanders in a Michigan Democratic presidential primary poll released Monday, eerily similar to Hillary Clinton’s lead over the socialist Vermont senator in the state’s 2016 primary before he won in an upset.

A Detroit Free Press/EPIC-MRA Michigan poll released Monday, one day before Tuesday’s primary, found the former vice president with 51% support and Sanders at 27%.

The poll surveyed 400 likely Democratic primary voters in Michigan by phone from March 4-6 (after last week’s Super Tuesday primary contests) and has a margin of error of 4.9 percentage points.

Monday’s poll is analogous to the 2016 cycle. The day before former Secretary of State Clinton and Sanders faced off in the 2016 Michigan Democratic presidential primary, another Detroit Free Press/EPIC-MRA poll found Clinton with a 25-point lead over Sanders, 56% to 31%. Sanders then won Michigan’s primary by 1.4 percentage points in a major upset. Younger voters and voters outside the Detroit area turned out in much greater numbers than expected in the 2016 primary, contributing to the polling error.

Monday’s poll found that Sanders’s support among young Democrats is softer than in 2016 — 58% among ages 18-29 versus 65% in 2016 — and also softer with those outside metro Detroit. (Read more from “Is Biden’s 24-Point Michigan Lead Deceptive? It Was for Hillary Clinton in 2016” HERE)

Bernie Sanders: ‘What Happened and Existed in the Soviet Union Was Not Socialism’ (VIDEO)

Independent Vermont Sen. and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said Monday that “what happened and existed” in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was not socialism.

During a Fox News town hall with Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, a woman named Margaret asked Bernie what the difference is between his brand of “democratic socialism” and the socialism of the USSR.

“As someone from Russia, a country that was greatly impacted by the negative effects of socialism, what assurances can you offer myself and other people impacted by socialism that democratic socialism will not have the same effects?”

Bernie responded by telling her that “what happened and existed in the Soviet Union was not socialism, it was authoritarian communism” and denounced communism as being “marked by totalitarianism.” . . .

“When we talk about democratic socialism, Margaret, I’m talking about Finland, I’m talking about Denmark, I’m talking about Sweden, I’m talking about countries all over the world that have used their government to try to improve life for working families, not just the people on top.”

How Did a Nazi Flag Wind up at a Sanders’ Rally?

Bernie Sanders is managing to keep up an active campaign schedule, despite his recent heart attack and even more recent drubbing on Super Tuesday at the hands of Joe Biden. Last night he held a rally in Arizona to pump up the troops, but one particular “trooper” was of the sort that nobody wants to see showing up. A young man in the audience whipped out a Nazi flag and began waving it, briefly being caught on camera. The crowd quickly turned on the flag-waver, forcing him to drop his Nazi symbol and flee the area, but the damage had already been done. People raced to be the ones who most quickly denounced the display. (Associated Press)

The display of a Nazi flag by a man at a Bernie Sanders campaign rally in Arizona drew condemnation from Jewish American groups and his main rival in the Democratic presidential primary on Friday amid ongoing worries about Democratic candidates’ security at public events.

Images of a flag depicting the Nazi swastika symbol that was briefly displayed at Sanders’ Thursday night rally in Phoenix began circulating online after the incident. The moment also elicited warnings about anti-Semitism directed at the Jewish Sanders, who has talked about members of his father’s family being “wiped out” by the Holocaust.

DNC Denies Rigging Election Against Socialist Sanders

By Breitbart. A spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) denied allegations by members of both parties that the panel is sabotaging socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) efforts to become the Democrat party’s presidential nominee in a bid to help so-called moderate and establishment figures like former vice president Joe Biden.

Sanders and the DNC have a strained relationship.

President Donald Trump and some Democrats, including the Bernie campaign and its supporters, have recently indicated that the DNC is rigging the ongoing election against the Vermont socialist and in favor of so-called moderates and establishment figures like Joe Biden, the former vice president.

DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa, however, blamed Republicans for disseminating the claim that the committee is stacking the deck against Sanders. . .

Following Biden’s rebound Super Tuesday after a big victory in South Carolina, which prompted three candidates to drop out, the contest for the Democrat party’s presidential nomination increasingly looks like a two-person race between the former vice president and Sanders. Biden and Sanders have emerged as the front-runners.

If Obama Is Trying to Block Bernie, He Should Say Why

By The Federalist. Former Vice President Joe Biden landed a series of major endorsements from high-profile Democrats Monday, including former 2020 competitors who ended their campaigns to get behind the establishment favorite.

Just 48 hours before the nationwide contests on Super Tuesday, former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg dropped out the race and announced his endorsement for Biden in Dallas Monday night. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who ended her campaign earlier in the afternoon, also endorsed Biden on the Dallas stage along with yet another former Democratic candidate, former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke. On the same day, Biden also secured endorsements from former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice.

The slew of endorsements on the eve of the biggest day of the Democratic primary illustrates a “moderate” coalescing around Biden following a 28-point blow-out win in South Carolina that has resurrected his sunken campaign and offered new hope to Democrats seeking to thwart Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ momentum. As the Biden campaign suffered blow after blow by performing worse-than-expected in the first three contests, Sanders eclipsed Biden as the new frontrunner. Sanders captured the popular vote in Iowa, took home first place in New Hampshire and claimed victory in Nevada by 26 points, all while the Biden campaign went into free-fall, hinging its bets on South Carolina as its “firewall.”

It’s no secret President Barack Obama is anxious about a Sanders nomination. Last fall, the former president, who has refrained from getting involved in the Democratic contest, privately remarked that he would speak out if Sanders appeared likely to capture enough delegates needed for the party’s coronation in Milwaukee. Top Dems Come out to Support Joe Biden

Monday turned out to be a huge day for former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign, which was flatlining beforehand. Biden received the endorsements of Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, both of whom exited the race ahead of Super Tuesday.

Super Tuesday is shaping up to be an interesting contest between former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and former Mayor of New York City Mike Bloomberg still remaining in the race. (Read more from “Top Dems Come out to Support Joe Biden” HERE)

‘First Class Commie’ Sanders Boards Wrong Private Jet and Used 3 to Travel to Campaign Event: TMZ

. . .After getting shellacked by former Vice President Joe Biden in the South Carolina primary, the democratic socialist presidential candidate is said to have boarded the wrong private jet during a campaign stop on Saturday.

According to TMZ, Sanders suffered “a momentary case of a campaign brain fart” as he accidentally boarded the wrong private jet during a campaign stop between South Carolina and Massachusetts. He is said to have been spotted making his way off of a Gulfstream jet before heading to the “Bay State” for a rally in the Boston Common. The Democratic frontrunner is campaigning in fellow rival Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s home state ahead of Super Tuesday, which polls show he is well-positioned to win. . .

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a Twitter user claimed that Sanders and his campaign staff took not just one but three private jets to travel between Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, which is only a two-hour drive according to Google Maps.

“[Sanders] and his entourage flew from Charleston to Myrtle Beach in not 1, not 2, but 3 Gulfstream jets today. It took them 10 minutes to fly. Who is the elitist?? #BernieIsACommunist,” twitter user “CarolinaGirl” wrote.

Superdelegates Oppose Handing Bernie the Nomination If Candidate Falls Short in Delegate Count; Poll: Sanders Knocks Biden out of First, Majority Thinks Trump Wins

By Townhall. For many in the Democratic Party, socialism is a bridge too far. The New York Times has interviewed several Democratic leaders, including 93 superdelegates, a majority of who said they oppose handing Bernie Sanders the party’s nomination should the democratic socialist fail to reach a majority of delegates before the national convention in July. . .

(Via The New York Times)

From California to the Carolinas, and North Dakota to Ohio, the party leaders say they worry that Mr. Sanders, a democratic socialist with passionate but limited support so far, will lose to President Trump, and drag down moderate House and Senate candidates in swing states with his left-wing agenda of “Medicare for all” and free four-year public college. …

Jay Jacobs, the New York State Democratic Party chairman and a superdelegate, echoing many others interviewed, said that superdelegates should choose a nominee they believed had the best chance of defeating Mr. Trump if no candidate wins a majority of delegates during the primaries. …

In a reflection of the establishment’s wariness about Mr. Sanders, only nine of the 93 superdelegates interviewed said that Mr. Sanders should become the nominee purely on the basis of arriving at the convention with a plurality, if he was short of a majority.

Fox News Poll: Sanders Knocks Biden out of First, Majority Thinks Trump Wins

By Fox News. Bernie Sanders pushes Joe Biden out of the frontrunner spot for the Democratic nomination, capturing a record 31 percent support among primary voters in a new Fox News Poll. This is the first 2020 Fox national poll that finds Biden not leading the Democratic race.

The survey also finds a marked increase in the number of voters who think President Trump will win the election.

Sanders has gained 8 percentage points since January in the nomination race, while Biden drops into second with 18 percent, down 8 points. Close behind is Mike Bloomberg at 16 percent, up 6 points since last month and triple his 5 percent in December. Pete Buttigieg comes in at 12 percent (up 5), Elizabeth Warren at 10 percent (down 4), and Amy Klobuchar at 5 percent (up 2).

This is the first Fox News poll with five candidates in double digits. It was conducted Sunday through Wednesday. Sanders, notably, was the most attacked candidate during Tuesday’s contentious presidential debate in South Carolina. House Democrats Block Resolution Condemning Bernie Sanders’s Praise of Fidel Castro

By Daily Caller. Democratic lawmakers Thursday successfully blocked a GOP resolution condemning Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s laudatory comments about the Castro regime.

By a vote of 224-189 that fell along party lines, the House of Representatives on Thursday voted to block a resolution that not only condemned numerous human rights abuses that took place under the Castro regime, but also condemned recent instances where Sanders refused to fully denounce the late Fidel Castro’s dictatorial rule over Cuba.

The resolution was introduced by GOP Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, who represents a district in the state that has 335,000 residents of Cuban descent — roughly half his entire constituency.

During a “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday, the Vermont senator said it was “unfair” to say everything about the Castro regime was negative, noting how Castro launched a “massive literacy program” upon assuming power. The following day, during a town hall event in South Carolina, Sanders stood by his remarks. During Tuesday night’s presidential debate, he once again touted Cuba’s progress on education. Bernie Sanders Supporters React to Report Saying Democratic Party Trying to Sabotage Him: ‘It’s Trash’

By Fox News. Fox News contributor and “Hannity” 2020 correspondent Lawrence Jones spoke to Bernie Sanders supporters in North Carolina Thursday about a New York Times report with the headline “Democratic Leaders Willing to Risk Party Damage to Stop Bernie Sanders.”

“There’s a New York Times report today that is talking about the party leadership actively working against Bernie Sanders and willing to break up the party as a result of that, how do you feel about that?” Jones asked Sanders supporters.

“I mean, unfortunately, it’s really kind of what we could see coming to a head since 2016,” One supporter said. Adding that he hoped members of the Democratic Party would rally behind Sanders.

One supporter told Jones she thinks “the Democratic Party is isolating their base.”

Another supporter called the idea that Democrats would do that “trash.” (Read more from “Bernie Sanders Supporters React to Report Saying Democratic Party Trying to Sabotage Him: ‘It’s Trash'” HERE)
