Ex-CIA ‘Spy Who Lied’ Wants Trump to Expose ‘Horrific’ Biden Havana Syndrome ‘Cover-Up’

A former top CIA officer has revealed he suffered from the mysterious neurological illness known as Havana Syndrome — and wants the Trump administration to expose what he calls the Biden administration’s cover-up of debilitating attacks on US personnel.

Marc Polymeropoulos, a 26-year CIA veteran and ex–senior operations chief who signed the infamous “spies who lie” letter about Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election campaign, told The Post that the 46th president’s administration perpetrated one of the worst intelligence scandals of modern times.

“The cover-up was horrific,” Polymeropoulos said.

Over the weekend, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made headlines by highlighting the account of a Venezuelan guard protecting dictator Nicolas Maduro. As US forces swooped on Caracas early on Jan. 3 to arrest Maduro on federal drug and weapons charges, Maduro’s guards were subjected to an unknown force that caused them to be incapacitated, bleed through their nose and “vomit blood.”

The Biden administration publicly denied the existence of Havana Syndrome — believed by non-government scientists to have been caused by powerful directed-energy weapons wielded by foreign adversaries such as Russia and Cuba — despite their own intelligence personnel suffering from “unbearable pain,” Polymeropoulos said.

After Trump took office last year, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard tasked her “director’s initiatives group” to investigate “anomalous health incidents” (AHI) — government jargon for Havana Syndrome. Team Biden Bathed America In Solar Panels While Reportedly Ignoring China Sabotage Warning

Biden-era officials reportedly overlooked warnings that imported Chinese solar panel components posed risks to the American power grid, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

America’s reliance on Chinese-linked solar panel inverters gives China an opportunity to sabotage the U.S. power grid, the Post reported, citing new research from Strider Technologies. The report and cybersecurity experts warned that this dependency poses a national security threat as the inverter devices in solar panels could be remotely triggered to precipitate cascading blackouts, the Post noted.

Power inverters are often made in China and are used to connect solar panels and wind turbines to the power grid. The Post does not clarify what warnings specifically were brought to the Biden administration in regard to national security risks linked to Chinese inverters.

“They were not excited to hear that clean energy technology made in China could pose a speed bump in the green energy transition,” the official told the Post. “You don’t need to turn off the entire western area power [grid] to create societal panic. … All you need to do is create some number of significant incidents that are widely reported to create the same effect.”

More than 85 percent of utilities surveyed anonymously are using inverters from companies linked to the Chinese government and military, the Post reported. The Strider Technologies report notes that it “surveyed utility and energy companies representing approximately 12% of U.S. installed capacity.” (Read more from “Team Biden Bathed America In Solar Panels While Reportedly Ignoring China Sabotage Warning” HERE)

Docs: Biden FBI Subpoenaed Records Of Major Conservatives, GOP Groups As Part Of Get-Trump Probe

The Biden FBI filed subpoenas seeking the bank records and communications of numerous conservatives and Republican-affiliated organizations as part of its lawfare against Donald Trump, new records show.

Released Wednesday by Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, the documents demonstrate the expansive efforts the agency undertook to target any individual and group associated with the former president throughout its “Arctic Frost” probe. As The Federalist previously reported, that inquiry “ultimately became Jack Smith’s elector case against Trump.”

According to newly disclosed files, the Biden FBI filed a subpoena on Sept. 19, 2022, with Chain Bridge Bank, seeking any requested “testimony, documents, and/or communications” from several Trump-affiliated political groups. This named list included the “Save America PAC, Save America Leadership PAC, and/or Save America JFC,” and the “Trump Make America Great Again JFC.”

The subpoena was one of many the Biden FBI would file in the coming months as part of its quest to target any individual and group associated with the eventual 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

A month later, on Oct. 11, 2022, the agency filed a subpoena with National Capital Bank to obtain “testimony, documents, and/or communications” from the Conservative Partnership Institute. The request specifically named Mark Meadows and Cleta Mitchell. While Meadows served as Trump’s White House chief of staff during his first term, Mitchell serves as chair of the Election Integrity Network and advised Trump on his post-2020 election litigation in Georgia.

DOJ Settles with Ten FBI Whistleblowers Targeted by Biden Administration

Ten FBI whistleblowers who say the Biden administration punished them for their “political beliefs” and for disclosing misconduct in the bureau will have their security clearances reinstated and collect back pay, according to a settlement announced Tuesday.

“These ten (whistleblowers) collectively suffered 12-years-worth of unjustified suspension time,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, posted on X after getting word of the settlement. “They were punished (because) of their disclosures/political beliefs. In other words, they were treated like skunks at a picnic. Now they receive justice.”

Sen. Grassley has long advocated for the whistleblowers and has helped navigate the settlements to their retaliation complaints. According to the Senator’s office, under the Biden administration the ten whistleblowers received retaliation that included demotions, loss of pay, and revocation of security clearances.

The legal nonprofit Empower Oversight represented the ten FBI employees. The organization detailed in a 12-page, March 5 letter to the FBI’s general counsel the improper “retaliatory targeting” of the men and women it represented. Trump Admin Poised To Ditch Biden-Era Taxpayer-Funded Abortion For Veterans

The Trump administration advanced its goal to eliminate taxpayer-funded abortion this week when it proposed ditching a Biden administration-era rule that forced taxpayers to subsidize veterans’ abortions.

One of President Donald Trump’s first actions in his second term was prohibiting Americans’ hard-earned dollars from going to organizations that lobby for, perform, or encourage abortions in other countries. The reinstatement of President Ronald Reagan’s Mexico City Policy brought the U.S. back up to speed with Americans’ majority opposition to taxpayer-funded abortions — especially overseas.

Now, six months into the Trump administration’s return, the Department of Veteran Affairs proposed a rule to rescind a 2022 policy that lumped abortions and “abortion counseling” into veterans’ taxpayer-funded medical benefits package.

“We believe the 2022 interim final rule was not only inappropriate as a matter of fact but also was legally questionable,” the August 4th notice posted to the federal register states.

As the proposed rule notes, “the regulatory determination that abortion is not a ‘needed’ service for veterans was accepted by every Secretary and Presidential administration for over 20 years.” It wasn’t until the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson ruling in 2022 that the Biden administration saw an opportunity to advance its abortion agenda through the VA. Biden White House Aide Disputes Cognitive Decline Claims

A top White House official and campaign chief for former President Joe Biden took probing questions from House investigators on Wednesday, pushing back strongly against assertions of Biden’s cognitive decline while still in office.

Steve Ricchetti, counselor to the president in the Biden White House and a longtime player in Democrat politics, sat down with members and staff of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Mike Donilon, a former senior White House adviser to Biden, is set to take questions from House investigators Thursday. Donilon was Biden’s campaign manager in 2020.

Ricchetti and Donilon were both identified in the book “Original Sin,” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, as part of the “Politburo” that helped run the White House during Biden’s cognitive decline.

Ricchetti contended that Biden is capable of being president today, and that he could have won in 2024, according to a source familiar with the interview. Ricchetti was combative and defensive during the transcribed interview and often filibustered. Ricchetti’s lawyer repeatedly interrupted and requested questions to be rephrased, according to the source.

He said famed film director Steven Spielberg helped Biden prepare for the June 2024 debate that led to the Democratic Party pressuring him to drop out of the race. (Read more from “Biden White House Aide Disputes Cognitive Decline Claims” HERE)

House Committee Could Grant Biden Witnesses Immunity to Get Them to Talk

As key witnesses in the investigation into former President Joe Biden’s mental decline continue to evade U.S. House questioning by invoking their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination, lawmakers could grant them immunity to encourage them to talk, according to a legal expert.

Three witnesses close to the former president pleaded the fifth during depositions before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in less than two weeks, with more likely to come.

Committee chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said the witnesses, Annie Tomasini, who served as an assistant to the former president and deputy director of Oval Office Operations, former first lady Jill Biden’s chief of staff, Anthony Bernal, and Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician, have pleaded the Fifth in “a pattern … seeking to shield themselves from criminal liability.”

Attorney and legal scholar John Shu notes that the committee could grant certain congressional witnesses immunity, a common tactic that would require them to testify because they no longer could self-incriminate and be subject to prosecution.

“Both the DOJ and Congress have been known to grant immunity. It would prevent witnesses from asserting the Fifth Amendment, because once you have immunity you can’t be prosecuted,” Shu said. (Read more from “House Committee Could Grant Biden Witnesses Immunity to Get Them to Talk” HERE)

Biden Justice Department Sought ‘Federal Hook’ To Go After Parents As ‘Domestic Terrorists’: Documents

The Department of Justice under former President Joe Biden actively sought a “federal hook” to justify sending federal law enforcement after parents it labeled “domestic terrorists” because they were concerned about their children’s education.

Documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) show that prior to the infamous Oct. 4, 2021, “domestic terrorist” memo from former Attorney General Merrick Garland, staff were looking for any possible way to go after parents concerned with coronavirus mandates, critical race theory, and “transgender” policies.

“We’re aware; the challenge here is finding a federal hook. But WH has been in touch about whether we can assist in some form or fashion,” Kevin Chambers, then an associate deputy attorney general, wrote in an Oct. 1 email, trying to manufacture a way to respond to a teed-up letter sent by the National School Boards Association (NSBA).

Career staff at the time were even concerned, saying there was no authority or legal basis for going after parents speaking out at school board meetings, particularly since they were protected by the First Amendment.

AFL said the new tranche of documents allows the organization to “complete the timeline” of how the NSBA and Biden DOJ and White House were colluding in order to go after parents. The legal group’s president, Gene Hamilton, said the emails show a “conspiracy that was ultimately aimed at depriving parents of two fundamental rights — the right to speak, and the right to direct the upbringing of their children.” (Read more from “Biden Justice Department Sought ‘Federal Hook’ To Go After Parents As ‘Domestic Terrorists’: Documents” HERE)

House Committee Demands Interviews With Jean-Pierre, Top Biden Staffers About Former Boss’s Decline

House Republicans are demanding interviews with Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and other top Biden White House staffers about the former president’s cognitive decline.

On Friday the House Oversight Committee sent a series of letters to Jean-Pierre, Ian Sams (special assistant to the president), Andrew Bates (senior deputy press secretary), and Jeff Zients (White House chief of staff) asking that they appear for transcribed interviews later this summer. According to Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., the requests are part of the body’s “aggressive investigation into the cover-up of [Biden’s] cognitive decline and potentially unauthorized executive actions” while serving as commander-in-chief.

“President Biden’s inner circle repeatedly told the American people that he was ‘sharp as ever,’ dismissing any commentary about his obvious mental decline as ‘gratuitous.’ They fed these false talking points to progressive allies and the media, who helped perpetuate that President Biden was fit to serve,” the Kentucky Republican said in a statement.

In their letter to Jean-Pierre, Oversight Republicans highlighted several examples of the former press secretary downplaying or dismissing times in which Biden showed signs of mental decline. In a press briefing following the Delaware Democrat’s disastrous June 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump, for example, Jean-Pierre claimed Biden was “as sharp as ever.”

“If White House staff carried out a strategy lasting months or even years to hide the chief executive’s condition — or to perform his duties — Congress may need to consider a legislative response,” the letter reads. Biden Staffer Directing Autopen Didn’t Know Who Final Authorization Came From

Neera Tanden, former head of Biden’s Domestic Policy Council, admitted that she authorized autopen signatures without knowledge of who issued the final approval in a closed-door hearing before the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, according to Fox News.

In her role as staff secretary, before she was moved to the Domestic Policy Council, Tanden “was responsible for handling the the flow of documents to and from the President,” sending decision memos to “Biden’s inner circle” and affixing the president’s autopen signature to the documents when she received approval. Tanden was not privy to any of the decision-making process or who was giving the final approval. She rarely interacted with Biden. The system, according to her opening statement, was a relic of previous administrations.

Tanden denied that she had ever discussed the former president’s fitness for office, per Fox News. “I had no experience in the White House that would provide any reason to question his command as President. He was in charge,” she said in her statement.

When asked by a reporter after the hearing if there had been an “effort to disguise President Biden’s condition,” she quickly denied it as she walked away.

“Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President’s obvious decline,” Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., said in a statement.
