Biden Admin Walks Back Claim That It Killed Major Al-Qaeda Figure in Airstrike, Killed Father of 10: Report

Biden administration officials are reportedly walking back claims that they made earlier this month when they claimed that they had killed a major figure in the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda.

The move by U.S. officials comes after the slain man’s family and others who knew him claimed that the father of 10, a former bricklayer, had no ties to terrorism and was tending to his sheep when he was hit by a Hellfire missile in Syria.

U.S. officials claimed shortly after the strike that the Predator drone had taken out a “senior Al Qaeda leader” — even though they did not provide proof or name the suspect.

The Washington Post reported that 56-year-old Lotfi Hassan Misto was the person killed in the strike.

Blinken Raises Eyebrows With Wording of Condemnation of ‘Harmful Conversion Therapy Practices’: ‘Who’s Gonna Tell Him?’

In the LGBT activist calendar, Wednesday was reportedly the “International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia,” when celebrants reiterate their opposition to traditional views on sexuality.

Various elements of the Biden administration paid homage, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken. However, with his supportive statement, Blinken appears to have unwittingly prompted debate on whether sex-change mutilations and puberty blockers fall into the camp of the “harmful conversion therapies” leftists are otherwise keen to denounce.

Blinked shared an image of the LGBT activists’ latest kaleidoscopic flag to Twitter with the message, “On International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia we call for an end to harmful conversion therapy practices, including those that attempt to change a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics.”

A version of this message appeared, albeit with additional context, on the State Department website, noting that “In keeping with the WHO’s determination, last year, President Biden directed the U.S. government to promote an end to so-called ‘conversion therapy practices’ around the world.”

Ex-Biden Nuclear Official Sam Brinton Arrested as ‘Fugitive From Justice’

Sam Brinton, the “nonbinary” activist tapped by Joe Biden for a key nuclear role before he was fired for stealing women’s clothes, was arrested again Wednesday night as a “fugitive from justice” for allegedly stealing luggage, The Daily Wire has learned.

Montgomery County, Maryland, police arrested him at his home on Wednesday, police logs show. He is currently in jail and being held without bond. A judge denied Brinton’s request to turn himself in and ordered him extradited to Virginia on grand larceny charges.

A neighbor told The Daily Wire that “four unmarked police showed up last night, they would not let his spouse Kevin leave. After about an hour Sam Brinton was escorted out in handcuffs.”

The former Biden official pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor theft last month after he was caught on video allegedly stealing luggage at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Brinton was initially charged with a felony when police believed he allegedly stole $3,670 worth of items, but he agreed to pay the victim more than $3,500 in restitution and received a suspended 180-day jail sentence, which meant he would serve no time behind bars as long as he stayed out of trouble. Former CIA Director Can’t Clean up This ‘Dirty’ Letter That Was Meant to Secure Biden’s 2020 Win

Now we know that the CIA conspired with former acting director Mike Morell and the Biden campaign to produce a letter falsely claiming that emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation — and solicited signatures from at least one former intelligence official.

But there is much more to come from the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees on the origins of that “Dirty 51” letter cooked up by five former CIA directors and 46 fellow spooks to discredit The Post’s reporting on the laptop.

John Brennan, the Obama-era CIA chief, admitted to House investigators in a four-hour closed-door deposition last week that the letter was “political.”

James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, is slated to appear next week.

Brennan and Clapper also were involved in the Hillary Clinton campaign’s Russia hoax against Donald Trump and have lied to Congress previously without sanction, but it is unlikely the new breed of Republicans conducting these investigations will be as lenient as their predecessors.

Why does the letter matter? Because it was crucial to saving Biden’s skin to deny that he had met with his son Hunter’s Ukrainian paymaster Vadym Pozharskyi while he was VP, as The Post reported on Oct. 14, 2020, citing evidence from the laptop. Unaccompanied Migrant Child Dies in U.S. Custody, a Tragedy Biden Called ‘Unacceptable’ When Trump Was President

The Biden administration confirmed Friday that an unaccompanied migrant child who came to the United States from Honduras has died.

The Department of Health and Human Services, which is responsible for caring for unaccompanied migrant children through the Office of Refugee Resettlement, provided no details about the child’s death.

“[HHS] is deeply saddened by this tragic loss and our heart goes out to the family, with whom we are in touch,” the agency said in a statement.

Honduran Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Reina confirmed the death, identifying the child as 17-year-old Ángel Eduardo Maradiaga Espinoza, who was placed in a migrant facility in Safety Harbor, Florida. He said that Honduran President Xiomara Castro de Zelaya has requested an “exhaustive” investigation into Espinoza’s death to ensure there is full accountability for anyone responsible for the death.

According to CNN, Espinoza was taken to a local hospital on Wednesday after being found unconscious. Tragically, he was pronounced dead after resuscitation attempts failed to revive him. Here We Go: Biden to Mass Release Illegal Aliens Onto American Streets

The Biden administration plans to release countless illegal immigrants, potentially hundreds-of-thousands of individuals, into American communities as Title 42 ends Thursday and the U.S.-Mexico border becomes completely overwhelmed.

“The head of U.S. Border Patrol has sent out a memo authorizing the release of illegal migrants into the U.S. without court dates if agents face overcrowding as the Biden administration scrambles to deal with a historic surge in migration at the border ahead of the end of Title 42,” Fox News reports. “The memo says that migrants can allowed into the country on parole — a process typically reserved for ‘urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit’ — if CBP faces overcrowding. The memo calls the practice ‘parole with conditions’ as migrants are required to make an appointment with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or request a Notice to Appear by mail.”

“Under a parole release, migrants are rapidly released into the country, do not get an alien registration number and do not receive a court date,” the report continues.

In anticipation of the mass release, Florida issued a lawsuit against the Biden administration for the move and is also ramping up penalties against illegal immigrants who use false or stolen identification.

“Florida seeks a temporary restraining order to preserve the status quo until the parties can brief motions for a preliminary injunction or to postpone the effective date of the new policy. The Biden Administration’s behavior, if left unchecked, makes a mockery of our system of justice and our Constitution. Florida asks the Court to order a response by 4 p.m. Eastern daylight time and to rule on this motion by 11:59 p.m. Eastern daylight time, when the Title 42 order expires,” the lawsuit states. An expert in economics is warning that the Biden administration may be looking at ways to lock down your checking account – literally ban withdrawals from the banking system. . .

Now the next step could be your bank account, according to macro economics guru Hugh Hendry. . .

The report explained, “Hendry says a further decline in the M2 money supply, which in part tracks money in liquid checking accounts, could convince the U.S. government to step in and prevent citizens from taking their capital out of the banking system.”

“Sometimes it’s kind of relevant to panic. I would recommend you panic… You’ve seen the biggest waterfall decline in M2 right now. M2 is deposits, not loans. Biden Administration Announces New Military Aid for Ukraine

The Biden administration has announced a new round of military aid to Ukraine valued at $300 million, and it will include a short-range air-launched rocket for the first time.

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre first announced the planned assistance at Wednesday’s press briefing, saying it includes more ammunition for United States-provided weapons such as High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), howitzers, artillery, and mortar rounds and anti-armor capabilities.

“It follows extensive work by the U.S. government over the past few months to fulfill Ukraine’s requests ahead of its planned counteroffensive and ensure they have the weapons and equipment they need,” Jean-Pierre said.

This package is being authorized via the president’s drawdown authority, the 37th since Russia’s war began, which means the weapons will come from current U.S. stockpiles and will go to Ukraine sooner than otherwise. It brings the total amount of military aid the U.S. has donated to Ukraine to more than $35 billion over the course of the war.

‘You Don’t Know, Do You?’: Biden Official Speechless After Senator Grills Him on Simple Question (VIDEO)

Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy left a Biden administration official speechless Wednesday after asking him how spending $50 trillion will reduce global temperatures.

Department of Energy Deputy Secretary David Turk testified Wednesday before the Senate committee on appropriations to discuss the 2024 budget request for the Department of Energy.

Kennedy noted the budget requests a 38% increase in green energy funding while cutting nuclear energy funding with barely an increase fossil fuel energy. Kennedy then asked Turk for an estimate of how much it would cost to be carbon neutral by 2050, with Turk refusing to provide a number. Kennedy first said Turk’s colleagues have presented a figure in the range of $50 trillion before asking how much would temperatures be affected by that massive spending.

“If you could answer my question: if we spend $50 trillion to become carbon neutral in the United States of America by 2050, you’re the deputy secretary of energy, give me your estimate of how much that is going to reduce world temperature.”

“So first of all it’s a net cost, it’s what benefits we’re having by getting our act together and reducing all of those climate benefits, we’re seeing –” Turk said before Kennedy interjected.

Biden to Send Active-Duty Marines, Soldiers to U.S.-Mexico Border

The Biden administration announced Tuesday that it would deploy 1,500 active-duty troops to the southern border to help deal with an expected wave of illegal immigrants starting next week.

The soldiers and Marines won’t be making arrests but will be assigned to support duties, including bringing more eyes to the border to keep tabs on illegal activity. The goal is to free up Customs and Border Protection personnel to perform their regular duties.

The Department of Homeland Security needs the help because the Biden administration will give up its Title 42 pandemic power to expel illegal immigrants on May 11, when the COVID-19 emergency expires. Title 42 has allowed CBP to immediately expel some illegal immigrants, and the tactic has helped keep the chaotic border from turning catastrophic.

The 90-day troop deployment marks an escalation of the country’s border defenses and is a retreat for President Biden. He had promised a more welcoming approach at the border but has been forced to use some of President Trump’s tactics to quell border chaos.

Past administrations have generally tapped the National Guard for border duty, but the Pentagon said it is sending active-duty troops this time — at least at first. Officials said they hope reservists can be rotated into duty and that Homeland Security eventually hires contractors to fill the troops’ jobs.
