Hilarious: This May Just Be the Best Response to Climate Change Radicals

We’ve seen a lot of climate change protesters in this country. They’re usually incredibly annoying, doing things like blocking traffic by linking themselves together on the highway or gluing their hands to something. . .

The usual reaction to people like this has been to cut them loose or free them from the glue and arrest them.

But the folks at Volkswagen may just have had the best response ever to this kind of idiocy.

Sixteen members of “Scientist Rebellion” (which looks like an offshoot of Extinction Rebellion) went to the Porsche pavilion at Volkswagen’s Autostadt in Germany. Nine of them glued themselves to the floor, they also had six other people, and one of the glued “scientists” claimed that some were “on hunger strike until our demands to decarbonize the German transport sector are met.” . . .

But hold on, here comes the best part. Rather than calling the police, getting them loose, and having them arrested, the Volkswagen people left them there and closed, turning everything off, with them glued to the floor, without food, heat, and as, they complained, any way to go to the bathroom.

WATCH: Climate Activist Dumps Human Waste on Second World War Veteran’s Memorial

A climate change activist poured human feces and urine over a memorial to Second World War veteran Captain Sir Tom Moore to protest private jets.

“I was studying to become a doctor because I believe in taking care of people. If we believe that the NHS is important, if we believe in taking care of each other, if we believe that NHS workers are doing essential work, why are forcing our healthcare system into collapse, why are we forcing our civilisation into collapse, why is basically no one taking this genocide of all humanity seriously?” Budd wailed.

“All of this is true and the government won’t even end UK private jets, every time one takes off, it pours a bucket of s**t and blood onto everything that Captain Tom stood for,” she added — although the person literally pouring human waste on a memorial to Captain Tom’s memory was of course Budd herself.

Pay Attention to the Dutch Farmer Protests Because America Is Next (VIDEO)

Americans should start paying closer attention to the ongoing farmer protests in the Netherlands, which this week transformed long swaths of Dutch highways into what looked like a post-apocalyptic warzone: roadside fires raging out of control, manure and farming detritus heaped across highways, traffic stalled for miles, and massive protests across the country in support of the farmers.

Why is the Netherlands, of all places, experiencing such unrest? Americans need to understand what’s happening over there because the ruinous climate policies that triggered these protests are precisely what President Joe Biden and the Democrats have in mind for the United States.

Specifically, Dutch farmers are protesting a government plan to cut fertilizer use and reduce livestock numbers so drastically that it will force many farms out of business. Earlier this month, farmers used tractors and trucks to block highways and entrances to food distribution centers across the country, saying their livelihood and way of life are being targeted by the government.

And they more or less are. The ruling coalition government claims its radical plan, pushed by Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who branded the protests “unacceptable,” is part of an “unavoidable transition” to improve air, land, and water quality. The goal is to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxide and ammonia, which are produced by livestock but which the government is labeling “pollutants,” by 50 percent nationwide by the year 2030.

The only way to do that, many Dutch farmers say, is to slaughter the vast majority of their livestock and shutter their farms. The government knows this and admitted as much earlier this year, saying in a statement, “The honest message … is that not all farmers can continue their business,” and that farmers have three options: “Becoming more sustainable, relocating or ending their business.”

Man Dies After Lighting Himself Ablaze Outside Supreme Court on Earth Day (VIDEO)

A Colorado man who set himself on fire outside of the Supreme Court on Earth Day has died from his injuries, police said.

In an incident report, the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) stated that 50-year-old Wynn Bruce of Boulder, Colorado, carried out the act at about 6:05 p.m. Friday, the Hill noted. The MPD, Supreme Court Police, and Capitol Police responded to the scene. After being conveyed to a local hospital via helicopter, Bruce died of his injuries.

“A Facebook page belonging to a person named Wynn Bruce said he was a Buddhist and a climate activist,” the New York Post reported.

“In 2020, Bruce left a cryptic Facebook comment that included a fire emoji and the date of his death, 4/22/2022,” according to the outlet.

Climate Alarmists Call on Activists to Deflate SUV Tires

Climate alarmists are not known for their subtlety nor their logic in performative demonstrations aimed at saving the planet from what they say is imminent destruction in the near but ever-lengthening future. A new campaign launched by the folks who go by the name “Adbusters” targets SUV drivers as part of their goal of reaching zero emissions.

Calling it “a gentle escalation of methods,” Adbusters issued the call this month to deflate SUV tires in order to save the planet, or something. They even created a handy leaflet to explain to SUV drivers why their car was illegally immobilized by some lunatic activists. “It isn’t personal,” the leaflet reads before launching into its preachy claims about how “SUVs are disproportionately fueling the climate crisis” before telling the unlucky driver to “walk, bike, take public transit if you have to” because “it’s time to end our reliance on these gas-guzzling behemoths.”

Biden Admin Unveils Aggressive Climate Rules for Private Sector

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposed rules that would force companies to publicly disclose a wide-range of climate-related information.

The SEC, the nation’s top financial regulator, would require publicly-traded companies to disclose how “severe weather events and other natural conditions” may impact their business, under the proposed rules, according to the Monday announcement. Companies would also be forced to publish the greenhouse gas emissions produced from their operations.

“I am pleased to support today’s proposal because, if adopted, it would provide investors with consistent, comparable, and decision-useful information for making their investment decisions, and it would provide consistent and clear reporting obligations for issuers,” SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, who President Joe Biden appointed in February 2021, said in a statement.

CLIMATE ALARMISTS: Mass Extinction Has Begun!

Earth’s sixth mass extinction has most certainly begun, asserts an article Tuesday in Science Alert, despite the objections of “deniers.”

It is the scientists themselves who “have rung the alarm bell,” writes Peter Dockrill, “warning that grave declines in animal biodiversity around the globe herald the onset of what will be Earth’s sixth mass extinction.”

A “looming weight of evidence” suggests this “grim phenomenon” is unfolding all around us, Dockrill asserts.

Extinction deniers base their position on a “highly biased assessment of the crisis” by overemphasizing mammals and birds while ignoring invertebrates, which constitute “the great majority of biodiversity,” Dockrill declares, citing biologist Robert H. Cowie from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, most of whose work involves non-marine snails.

Woke Pope Compares Climate Change to World War II

Pope Francis sent a striking message to the U.N. Climate Conference in Glasgow Tuesday, in which he compared the effects of climate change to those of World War II.

“The wounds inflicted on our human family by the Covid-19 pandemic and the phenomenon of climate change are comparable to those resulting from a global conflict,” the pope said in his message to COP26, read aloud in Glasgow by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

“Today, as in the aftermath of the Second World War, the international community as a whole needs to set as a priority the implementation of collegial, solidary and farsighted actions,” the pontiff continued.

A little further along, Francis returned to the same analogy, forecasting that “in the near future, environmental migrants will be more numerous than refugees from war and conflicts.”

In his message, the pope urged the world’s leaders to take up “the vital task of demonstrating to the entire international community whether there really exists a political will to devote – with honesty, responsibility and courage – greater human, financial and technological resources to mitigating the negative effects of climate change.” (Read more from “Woke Pope Compares Climate Change to World War II” HERE)

Mental Health Issues Rising Over ‘Climate Despair’

Some people are so upset over climate change they are suffering from mental health concerns considered “climate despair,” a new Washington Post report said.

The devastating and deadly Hurricane Ida has energized activists, including the Post, which published a lengthy piece that claims “more people than ever could experience serious challenges to their mental health as a result” of climate change.

The Post reported on what it refers to as “climate despair”:

New methods for addressing these challenges are emerging in the United States, though some experts believe a surge in mental health issues related to climate change could overwhelm the system — leading them to consider how to radically remake it.

No, The West Coast Heat Wave Has Nothing To Do With Climate Change

Was last week’s record heatwave in the Pacific Northwest caused by a climate-altering buildup of human greenhouse gases? The once-august Scientific American claimed it was, declaring, “Unprecedented Heat Wave in Pacific Northwest Driven by Climate Change.” Other outlets like the Washington Post echoed this narrative.

Yet what happened in the Pacific Northwest the week before Independence Day was caused by the weather, not the climate. Simply put, a high-pressure dome built up over southern British Columbia. This caused strong downslope winds from the north.

Those winds curved right, flowing up and over the Cascade Range. As the winds picked up speed going downhill towards Seattle, Portland, and other cities closer to the coast, the air rapidly compressed and heated up. Gases do that when they get compressed. It’s simple physics (as compared to the almost infinitely complex physics of climate change).

Proponents of climate concern suggest the Earth has warmed about two degrees Fahrenheit over the past century. But only in the fantasy land of complex and unproven attribution models would this change be directly responsible for the recent heatwave.

The spate of broken high-temperature records is likewise completely unsurprising. Accurate and regular temperature records for Seattle only began in February 1870.
