Arrogant CNN ‘Hosts’ Repeatedly LIE, Insist Trump Dubbed the Coronavirus a ‘Hoax’ (VIDEO)

In a horrendous lie on CNN first flagged by the Trump campaign, CNN hosts Ana Cabrera and Boris Sanchez displayed gross arrogance, immaturity, and snarkiness in repeatedly lying by telling viewers on Saturday and Sunday that President Trump initially chalked up the coronavirus to having been “a hoax.”

Fact-checker after fact-checker (and even liberal ones like The Washington Post) decried this falsehood, but in Zuckerville, such gaslighting is not only encouraged, but it’s become a requirement to survive at CNN.

Sunday afternoon, Cabrera directly blamed the President for the coronavirus outbreak and peddled the “hoax” lie. As part of a seven-minute meltdown, she insisted that a lack of funding for an Obama-instituted program on pandemics. . .

“The words of an American president during a time of global crisis matter the world over. President Trump is trading on the credibility of an office he did not create. So where will the world turn when it is taught to turn off a President who said this in India less than three weeks ago,” an offended Cabrera lectured, which led to a soundbite of Trump predicting that the virus would “go away.”

Earth to CNN: Facts change. Sure, critique the President’s demeanor. By all means take issue with a press conference or a tweet. It’s all fair game! But making faces, sighing, and lashing out solves nothing when it comes to being a host and so-called journalist. Trump Campaign Sues CNN Over ‘False and Defamatory’ Statements, Seeks Millions in Damages

President Trump’s re-election campaign filed a libel lawsuit against CNN on Friday for publishing “false and defamatory” statements about seeking Russia’s help in the 2020 election.

“The complaint alleges CNN was aware of the falsity at the time it published them but did so for the intentional purpose of hurting the campaign while misleading its own readers in the process… the campaign filed this lawsuit against CNN and the preceding suits against The New York Times and The Washington Post to hold the publishers accountable for their reckless false reporting and also to establish the truth,” Senior Legal Adviser to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. Jenna Ellis told Fox News.

Fox News obtained the complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia where CNN is located. It states in part that CNN claimed Trump’s campaign “assessed the potential risks and benefits of again seeking Russia’s help in 2020 and has decided to leave that option on the table.”

The complaint said that CNN was well aware the statements were false “because there was an extensive record of statements from the Campaign and the administration expressly disavowing any intention to seek Russian assistance” but promoted the claim anyway.

The complaint said that Trump’s legal team sent CNN a request to retract and apologize last month but CNN executives refused. The Trump campaign now seeks “millions of dollars” through litigation. White House Excludes CNN From Annual SOTU Media Lunch; Trump Had America’s Top TV News Anchors Over for Lunch—and Ate Them Alive

By The Hill. The White House has excluded CNN anchors from attending a private annual lunch it hosts on the day of the State of the Union, according to three unnamed sources in a network report.

Trump has often had a contentious relationship with the media and CNN in particular.

In the past, the president has referred to CNN as “fake news,” and some of his rally attendees have chanted “CNN sucks” when Trump broaches the subject of the media.

According to the network, the lunch is a time for “off the record” discussion and for the journalists to get a sense of what the president is thinking before he addresses the nation that evening. However, this will not be the case for members of CNN’s news team this year.

Two of the network’s current anchors, Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer, were invited to and attended the 2019 lunch, and Blitzer has attended the lunch 20 years in a row, according to the network. (Read more from “White House Excludes CNN From Annual SOTU Media Lunch” HERE)

Trump Had America’s Top TV News Anchors Over for Lunch—and Ate Them Alive

By The Daily Beast. Donald Trump served various television news personalities a lunch described by one White House guest as soup and filet of sole Tuesday—but soon the assembled anchorpeople were eating out of his hand.

Much to the disappointment of folks at CNN, nobody at the long table—who included NBC’s Lester Holt and Chuck Todd, ABC’s David Muir and George Stephanopoulos, and CBS’s Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan—bothered to ask why the president had gone out of his way to exclude the cable network run by Trump’s former friend Jeff Zucker.

“MSDNC isn’t here as well,” Trump quipped—to polite chuckles but zero protests (not even by Meet the Press and MSNBC anchor Todd) from his captive audience, who were there ostensibly for a briefing on tonight’s State of the Union address but instead were treated to a lot of presidential boasting about his poll numbers and the “through-the-roof” stock market, and a lot of gloating about the “fiasco” of Iowa’s Democratic caucuses and the general disarray in the out-of-power party. CNN Settles Nick Sandmann Defamation Lawsuit in Covington Catholic High School Controversy

CNN on Tuesday settled a defamation lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann over its botched coverage of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder that had portrayed the Kentucky teen as the aggressor.

Fox 19 first reported that CNN settled with Sandmann for an undisclosed amount. The $250 million defamation suit sought damages for the “emotional distress Nicholas and his family suffered” in the fallout of the network’s reporting.

A lawyer for Sandmann declined to comment on the settlement but confirmed to Fox News that lawsuits against The Washington Post and NBC were ongoing. Fox 19 also reported that Sandmann attorney L. Lin Wood told the judge they planned to sue media company Gannett, the publisher of the Cincinnati Enquirer among other newspapers, within 60 days. Gannett did not immediately comment either.

Last March, Sandmann’s attorneys launched their suit against CNN for its coverage of the incident before all the facts had surfaced. The teen was seeking a whopping $800 million in damages between the three news outlets.

Trump Campaign Declares Legal Action Against CNN – Here’s Why

In a letter obtained and published by the Washington Examiner on Friday, President Trump’s campaign informs CNN President Jeff Zucker that it plans to sue him and his network for a “substantial” amount as a result of CNN subjecting the president to “unfair, unfounded, unethical and unlawful attacks.”

The letter was sent after the release this week of a series of undercover videos produced by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas showing CNN insiders describing alleged overt, systemic bias against Trump within CNN, including from the top: Zucker himself.

The letter is addressed to Zucker and CNN’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel David Vigilante and signed by Charles J. Harder of Harder LLP, a firm representing Trump’s campaign. In the letter, Harder accuses CNN of failing to abide by “industry-accepted codes of ethics, including the Society for Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics,” as well as CNN’s own self-declared commitment to “excellence in journalism” and being “the most trusted source for news and information.”

Among the evidence of CNN’s alleged failure to provide ethical coverage, Harder cites Project Veritas’ recent videos in which CNN employees say that their network is committed to help “take down President Trump” and Zucker is driven by a “personal vendetta” against him. Harder stresses that the listed examples “are merely the tip of the iceberg of the evidence my clients have accumulated over recent years.” . . .

“Your actions are in violation of the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq.), among other applicable laws, by constituting misrepresentations to the public, to your advertisers, and others,” the letter reads. “Accordingly, my clients intend to file legal action against you, to seek compensatory damages, treble damages, punitive damages, injunctive relief, reimbursement of legal costs, and all other available legal and equitable remedies, to the maximum extent permitted by law.” (Read more from “Trump Campaign Declares Legal Action Against CNN – Here’s Why” HERE)

CNN Leads Hysteria with False Claim; Ex-Ukraine Envoy Testifies, Says Nothing Wrong Happened

By Breitbart. CNN claimed Thursday that the White House “admits to quid pro quo with Ukraine.”

That appeared to be the opposite, in fact, of what happened during a press conference with acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.

Mulvaney told reporters that there had been no quid pro quo, as described by those pursuing his impeachment — that President Donald Trump had not withheld aid from Ukraine until it agreed to investigate his potential 2020 presidential rival, former Vice President Joe Biden.

What Mulvaney actually said was that the Trump administration had initially withheld funding from Ukraine for a variety of reasons, including the fact that Europe was not providing enough funding for military aid. Another reason, he said, was suspicion of past corruption in Ukraine — which included Ukraine’s possible role in interfering in the 2016 presidential election, including its possible possession of a Democratic National Committee server. Ex-Ukraine Envoy Testifies: ‘I Was Never Asked to Do Anything’ Wrong

By Breitbart. Former U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker on Wednesday reportedly told impeachment investigators that he was “never asked to do anything” wrong, including by President Donald Trump.

Democrats and the mainstream media had argued that Volker was a major player in Trump’s efforts to push Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son in exchange for aid even after the former envoy defended the former vice president from the corruption allegations levied against him.

Volker made an unexpected return to the Capitol on Wednesday after testifying behind closed doors in the House Democrats’ impeachment probe on October 3. . .

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, indicated that Volker went back to the Capitol Wednesday to “review” his October 3 testimony.

“I was never asked to do anything that I thought was wrong, including by the [U.S.] president,” Volker testified on Wednesday, CBS News learned from unnamed sources. (Read more from “Ex-Ukraine Envoy Testifies: ‘I Was Never Asked to Do Anything’ Wrong” HERE)

CNN: I Hope Trump Dies Soon

Tim will have more on Project Veritas latest video where staffers of CNN are seen complaining about how the network has become and left-wing cesspool. Okay—maybe that’s a stretch, but they’re not happy with the liberal tilt the network has taken. It is one of the most prolific and visible anti-Trump networks out there. We all know this, but PV was able to get an insider to speak with CNN employees who confirmed our suspicions about the network. They’re liberal. They hate Trump. And President Jeff Zucker personally intervenes during interviews with members of the Trump administration in the hopes of catching them tripping up live on air. The Trump impeachment circus is front and center, and all of this just adds credence to the chant “CNN sucks.” And if that’s not indicative of how the liberal media has become in the Trump era, PV’s CNN insider, Cary Poarch, caught what they all probably feel about the president during his investigation. Gerald Sisnette, Field Production Supervisor at CNN, said he hoped Trump dies soon (via Project Veritas):

According to CNN insider Cary Poarch, “I want to chase the facts, like the motto that CNN put out earlier this year, ‘the facts first,’ that’s what I want the news to be. That’s what it should be. That’s what it used to be.” It appears a number of CNN staffers agree:

. . .Gerald Sisnette, Field Production Supervisor at CNN: “This is a story that’s not gonna go away…The only way this will go away is when he (Trump) dies. Hopefully soon.”

WATCH: Project Veritas Exposes CNN’s ‘Personal Vendetta’ Against Trump

CNN is one of the most visible and prolific anti-Trump networks out there. Over the weekend, James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas team announced that they were working on a series based on information brought to them by an insider at the network. It’s what you’d expect from staff and management that has become infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Most of the top hosts hate Trump. CNN president Jeffrey Zucker hates him as well. So, it’s not shocking that the animus leeches into the programming. Zucker is heard on calls, giving marching orders to focus on impeachment and ignore other stories. He rips Fox News for peddling conspiracy theories and pretty much being fake news, which is just rich coming from this network that’s perpetually in third place. Fox is king. They will never beat them. So, chalk up the trash talk as one coming from an executive that will never reach an audience like that at Fox News.

Other tidbits come from CNN’s floor manager, who described the aura of death that was in the air when Trump won the 2016 election while admitting that the network is partially to blame for Hillary’s loss with the non-stop coverage. Trump got around $2 billion in free media during the 2016 cycle. Floor Director Hiram Gonzalez is caught telling PV’s insider, “Between you and I, we created this monster and now we’re eating him full plate every single day. Media created the Trump monster.”

Meanwhile, CNN’s media coordinator admits that top hosts at the network, Jake Tapper, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, and Chris Cuomo, either hate or strongly dislike the president. Again, no shocker there (via PV):

Cary Poarch, who works at CNN’s Washington D.C. Bureau, tells Project Veritas “I decided to wear a hidden camera…to expose the bias running rampant” at the network. Poarch documented CNN’s bias for months; recording undercover footage of numerous long-term employees, some of which talk about Jeff Zucker’s anti-Trump agenda. In the video are Nick Neville, Christian Sierra, Hiram Gonzalez, David Chalian, and Mike Brevna. These employee’s positions range from media coordinator to high-ranking executives. I decided to secretly record the 9:00am rundown call meetings with senior management and executives, says Poarch.

WATCH: Trans Protesters Go After Gay Presidential Candidate

Protesters interrupted South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Thursday at the CNN LGBTQ forum, shouting “trans people are dying, do something!”

The Democratic presidential candidate took the stage amid applause, which turned into shouts from the crowd. . .

“Let me just point out there is a long and proud tradition in history in the gay and lesbian and transgender community of protest, and we applaud them for their protest,” moderator Anderson Cooper told the crowd. “And they are absolutely right to be angry and upset at the lack of attention.” (Read more from “Trans Protesters Go After Gay Presidential Candidate” HERE)

WATCH: CNN Analyst Has Meltdown Over Whistleblower Complaint; Bombshell Revelation Unravels Whole Scandal

By Washington Examiner. CNN analyst and former FBI and CIA official Phil Mudd excoriated the unidentified whistleblower in the intelligence community who filed a complaint alleging President Trump made a “promise” with a foreign leader.

The topic of the whistleblower’s complaint was unknown until Wednesday, and many details remain unknown to the public, however the Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson called it “credible and urgent.” Atkinson testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday morning.

Mudd discussed the revelations in the story and his distaste for it during an interview with Chris Cuomo on Wednesday night.

“Boy, I’m about ready to blow a gasket. That is extremely unusual and I listened to presidential phone calls when I was an official at the White House under George W. Bush in 2001. Can you explain to me, a, why it’s the U.S. Intelligence community’s responsibility to listen to the president of the United States speaking to a foreign leader,” Mudd began. “Last I checked, Chris, when I served, we were responsible for chasing the Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, and terrorists. We’re not responsible for reporting to the Congress what the president says.” . . .

“What the heck is over the line? The president can say what he wants to Putin, he can say what he wants to Kim Jong Un. He can say to Kim Jong Un, which I think is completely over the top, I’ll go meet you in the DMZ, the demilitarized zone,” Mudd added. “The president can say what he wants. It’s not the responsibility of the intel guys to go police the president and go snitch on him to the Congress. Ridiculous.” (Read more from “CNN Analyst Has Meltdown Over Whistleblower Complaint” HERE)

Bombshell Revelation Buried Deep in Report Unravels Whistleblower Scandal Involving President Trump

By The Blaze. The whistleblower who lodged a complaint with the intelligence community inspector general about communications between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not have “direct knowledge” about the communications — but filed a complaint anyway.

The new revelation was buried deep in a CNN report detailing the fallout over the alleged July 25 phone call between Trump and Zelensky. Trump has allegedly asked Zelensky multiple times to help Rudy Giuliani investigate Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden.

According to CNN, the whistleblower complaint was filed on nothing more than hearsay:

The whistleblower didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower’s concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration’s determination that the complaint didn’t fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.
