The White House was pressed Tuesday on why vaccinated people should return to wearing masks in certain situations since the COVID-19 vaccines are effective in preventing serious disease.

Press secretary Jen Psaki responded to a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy by saying that masks are an “extra step” that provides further protection against COVID-19, while maintaining that vaccines against COVID-19 “work.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to announce Tuesday that some vaccinated individuals resume wearing masks in certain situations to protect against COVID-19, reversing its earlier guidance that only unvaccinated individuals should wear face coverings.

In May, the CDC announced that vaccinated individuals were not required to wear masks indoors or outdoors, or physically distance, while maintaining that unvaccinated individuals should continue to wear masks and socially distance.

At the time, the CDC still recommended that fully vaccinated individuals wear masks while in crowded indoor settings, such as riding public transportation and in hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters. The CDC told Fox News last week it had “no plans” to update its mask use recommendations. Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Monday said it is the community’s mission to get more people vaccinated, previewing his administration’s desire to knock on doors, put unvaccinated people in cars, and drive them to “get that vaccine in their arm.” . . .

“We understand that we are all in this together. We understand that as goes one goes all in this city where we all live together and in this state where we all live together,” he continued.

“We have to get back to work. We have to get back to work, and we have to get back to work now, and we have to spread this message or we’re going to spread the virus,” he said before specifically expressing the desire to knock on doors and drive unvaccinated people to get the jab.

“And we have to get in those communities, and we have to knock on those doors, and we have to convince people, and put them in a car and drive them and get that vaccine in their arm. That is the mission,” the Democrat mayor said during Monday’s press conference, where he announced the allocation of $15 million from the state’s budget to promote vaccinations:

Cities Are Reviving Their Mask Mandates Amid the Delta Variant Spread, Sparking Backlash and Lawsuit Threats

By Yahoo News. Local mask mandates are reemerging as the Delta variant of the coronavirus continues spreading throughout the United States, driving up infection and hospitalization rates.

In Missouri, St. Louis and St. Louis County became the latest to adopt new public health orders requiring people to wear masks in indoor public spaces – whether they’re vaccinated or not. The new rules begin Monday.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles County reinstated its indoor mask mandate on July 17, citing a rapid uptick in new infections.

The mandates have in some cases provoked outrage. Missouri’s attorney general, Eric Schmitt, even announced on Twitter he intended to file a lawsuit Monday to stop the mandate.

Fauci Issues Another Ominous COVID-19 Warning For The U.S. As Cases Rise

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday warned that the US is heading in the “wrong direction” as COVID-19 cases driven by unvaccinated people continue to surge across the nation.

“I’m not so sure it would be the worst-case scenario, but it’s not going to be good. We’re going in the wrong direction,” Fauci said on CNN’s “State of Union” when asked about a model predicting that the country could reach 4,000 virus-related deaths a day if vaccination rates don’t improve.

Fauci said the country has the “tools to blunt” the curve predicted in the model, particularly with vaccines, which have proven to be effective against severe disease.

“We have 50 percent of the country not fully vaccinated. That’s a problem, particularly when you have a variant, like Delta, which has this extraordinary characteristic of being able to spread very efficiently and very easily from person to person,” he said.

Here’s How Much Unvaccinated NFL Players Will Be Fined

The NFL will be handing out $14,650 fines to unvaccinated players who violate the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

This comes after the NFL on Thursday told teams that they would have to forfeit games if outbreaks among unvaccinated players results in them being unable to play.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a memo that in such situations, players from both teams would lose money, according to ESPN. He also said that he “retains the authority to impose additional sanctions, particularly if the Covid outbreak is reasonably determined to be the result of a failure by club personnel to follow applicable protocols.”

Hospital Fires Six Managers for Refusing COVID Vaccine

A New Jersey hospital axed six supervisor-level employees for refusing to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, reports said.

RWJBarnabas Health had required supervisory workers to get jabbed by June 30, and now the system plans to expand that requirement to all of its staff and doctors, northjersey.com reported.

“As of July 14, 2,979 staff members, or 99.7 percent, who are at the supervisor level and above, have been fully vaccinated or received medical and religious exemptions or a deferral,” the company said in a statement to NBC News on Wednesday.

Stunning Lawsuit Charges Vaccine Deaths Being Concealed

Attorney Thomas Renz filed a lawsuit in federal court in Alabama on July 19 that alleges a massive government cover-up of vaccination-related U.S. deaths that number “at least 45,000.”

The suit, filed on behalf of America’s Frontline Doctors in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, is based on a sworn statement by a government insider under federal whistleblower protection.

Speaking at the Re-awaken Tour event held July 17-18 in Anaheim, California, Renz made the bombshell announcement he says is based on a whistleblower with access to government computers and can prove that “at least 45,000” Americans have already been killed by the three COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the FDA. . .

Nobel Prize Winner: Mass COVID Vaccination an ‘Unacceptable Mistake’

French virologist and Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier called mass vaccination against the coronavirus during the pandemic “unthinkable” and a historical blunder that is “creating the variants” and leading to deaths from the disease.

“It’s an enormous mistake, isn’t it? A scientific error as well as a medical error. It is an unacceptable mistake,” Montagnier said in an interview translated and published by the RAIR Foundation USA yesterday. “The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants.”

Many epidemiologists know it and are “silent” about the problem known as “antibody-dependent enhancement,” Montagnier said.

“It is the antibodies produced by the virus that enable an infection to become stronger,” he said in an interview with Pierre Barnérias of Hold-Up Media earlier this month.

Johns Hopkins Study Found Zero COVID Deaths Among Healthy Kids

A team of Johns Hopkins researchers recently reported that when studying a group of about 48,000 children, they found zero COVID deaths among healthy kids, but the Centers for Disease Control doesn’t care.

Dr. Marty Makary is a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Carey Business School. His research team “worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020.”

After studying comprehensive data on thousands of children, the team “found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.” Rather than acknowledge this scientific reality, Makary says the CDC continues to use “flimsy evidence” to push the COVID vaccine upon children.

As Makary noted in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, the implications of his team’s research are huge. “[If our research] holds, it has significant implications for healthy kids and whether they need two vaccine doses,” Makary says. After all, “The National Education Association has been debating whether to urge schools to require vaccination before returning to school in person. How can they or anyone debate the issue without the right data?”

Poll: Unvaccinated Say Vaccines More Dangerous Than COVID-19

Unvaccinated individuals believe the coronavirus vaccine is more dangerous than the virus, according to a poll conducted by Yahoo News and YouGov.

The poll found 37 percent of unvaccinated individuals believe the vaccines pose greater health risks than the virus while 29 percent acknowledge the coronavirus is a greater health risk than the vaccines, which studies have shown are effective in reducing cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

Thirty-four percent of individuals were unsure which poses a greater threat to their health.

The study highlights how misinformation about the vaccines are deeply ingrained with many Americans. Vaccine doubts have slowed vaccination rates in the United States to a crawl, and have been a major factor as the delta variant sweeps through the country, leading to a rise in cases, hospitalizations and deaths.
