‘Supply Chain Disruptions’ Are Not An Accident, They’re The Logical Result Of Stupid Lockdowns

In Joe Biden’s painful and inaccurate speech about inflation on Tuesday, he finally shifted from blaming racism for everything to blaming Covid for everything to now blaming “the supply chain” and “Mr. Putin’s war in Ukraine” (that Biden baited Putin into) for everything.

These “supply chain disruptions,” as everyone is painfully aware, are doing everything from starving babies to shooting up the price of everything, as Wednesday’s 8.3 percent annual inflation number affirmed again. They are also not random, and they’re not a virus’s fault. They’re the direct and foreseeable consequence of ill-advised global lockdowns that nearly all of our nation’s political leaders refused to take into account when they and corporate media colluded to gaslight the world into accepting them.

Our historic “supply chain problems” are not the result of happenstance. They are the result of cowardly, ignorant, and just plain malevolent leadership throughout the entire Covid era.

Lockdowns never needed to happen. Global lockdowns were never before advised or attempted for much worse pandemics, they were based on faulty models, and the Information Age doesn’t change their imprudence. The “supply chain” consequences alone, as well as many of the other horrific medical and social consequences, should be enough evidence for all rational people to conclude that we must never, ever lock down again. Eyes Wide Shut: NIH Director Confirms Agency Hid Early COVID Genes at Request of Chinese Scientists

National Institutes of Health acting director Lawrence Tabak confirmed to lawmakers Wednesday that US health officials concealed early genomic sequences of COVID-19 at the request of Chinese scientists — but insisted the data remains on file.

Tabak told a House Appropriations subcommittee that the NIH “eliminated from public view” the data from the pandemic epicenter in Wuhan, China, before adding that researchers can still access it via an archaic “tape drive.”

Vanity Fair recently reported that the information was hidden in response to a request from Chinese scientists, despite potentially resolving whether the virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology or passed naturally from animals to humans.

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.) asked Tabek to explain why US officials would comply with such a request.

“There’s no question that the communication that we had about the sequence archive — Sequence Read Archive — could have been improved. White House Communications Director Tests Positive for COVID-19

White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield announced on Friday that she tested positive for COVID-19. This comes after other members of the Biden administration have tested positive for the virus in recent weeks.

Bedingfield shared on Twitter that she is not considered “close contact” with President Joe Biden. She said she wore a N-95 mask during a socially-distanced meeting with him this week.

Vaccinated Kamala Has COVID

Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, her office announced in a statement.

“Today, Vice President Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on rapid and PCR tests. She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President’s residence,” said press secretary to the vice president Kirsten Allen.

“She has not been a close contact to the President or First Lady due to their respective recent travel schedules. She will follow CDC guidelines and the advice of her physicians. Look Who Ended Their Indoor Mask Mandate…Again

. . .Philadelphia was the only city to reinstate a mask mandate, but it’s gone now. Yeah, it didn’t even last as long as CNN+. The mandate is gone because cases had leveled out. That’s not possible. That’s science fiction. This can’t happen in a matter of days; this is the so-called experts’ own data on the virus which has been disseminated ad nauseum. This is how you know (again) the whole playbook was about the maximization of government power (via CBS Philly):

Philadelphia lifted its indoor mask mandate, but residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to still wear a mask in indoor public spaces, the city’s health department announced on Friday. The Board of Health voted to rescind the mandate.

Further details will be announced during a 10:30 a.m. briefing that will be streamed live on CBS News Philly.

Health officials say the decision to rescind the order is due to decreasing hospitalizations and a leveling of case counts, not criticism from businesses and residents.

This School District Is STILL Forcibly Masking Its Students

It’s so shocking that some school districts would still be forcibly masking students, that one might wonder if this is really an article from April 2022, but it is. As Elizabeth Beyer and Emily Hamer of the Wisconsin State Journal reported last week, “Masks will continue to be required in Madison School District through May.”

The decision will be revisited on May 6. As the report cited the district as saying:

“(The school district’s) main goal is to keep schools open and scholars learning safely in-person,” the district said in a statement. “(The district) strongly believes this is in the best interest of students, families, staff and the community.”

Madison’s decision to extend the mandate was made after meetings between district staff and medical advisers, who recommended continuing to mask up indoors, the district said.

Dr. Anthony Fauci made a Wednesday appearance on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” during which he was asked about how China is handling its “Zero COVID” policy involving lockdowns of the most frightening sort. As Katie covered earlier this week, people can be heard screaming from their windows while a drone flies by telling them to quiet down. Both Mitchell and Fauci went about their discussion in just about the most dispassionate way possible.

Fauci referenced how “China has a number of problems,” but he did also claim that “their approach” of “a strictest lockdown that you’d never be able to implement in the United States… prevents the spread of infection,” and went on to say about China, “Remember, early on, they were saying, and I think accurately, that they were doing better than almost anybody else.” . . .

Fauci also didn’t expand upon why “you’d never be able to implement [such lockdowns] in the United States.” Perhaps it’s because the Chinese people are under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party, and thus do not have the freedom to speak out.

Biden Extends Mask Mandates for Americans Traveling; Ends Coronavirus Restrictions for Border Crossers

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden’s administration is extending the federal mask mandate for Americans traveling on commercial buses and flights while carrying out plans to end Chinese coronavirus restrictions for border crossers and illegal aliens.

On Wednesday, Biden’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that the federal transportation mask mandate — which has been in place since 2020 — will remain in effect for at least two more weeks.

“CDC continues to monitor the spread of the Omicron variant, especially the BA.2 subvariant that now makes up more than 85 percent of United States cases,” the agency wrote in a statement:

Since early April, there have been increases in the seven-day moving average of cases in the U.S. The CDC Mask Order remains in effect while CDC assesses the potential impact of the rise of cases on severe disease, including hospitalizations and deaths, and healthcare system capacity. TSA will extend the security directive and emergency amendment for 15 days, through May 3, 2022. [Emphasis added]

At the same time, Biden’s CDC is officially ending the Title 42 public health authority on May 23. The authority, first imposed by former President Donald Trump, allows federal immigration officials to quickly return illegal aliens to their native countries to protect Americans from illnesses, diseases, and viruses like coronavirus. COVID Insanity: Philadelphia Orders that Masks be Worn Indoors

Philadelphia will reinstate indoor mask mandates Monday, April 18, as its Covid-19 cases quickly rise, the city’s Public Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole announced Monday.

The city is the first major US metropolitan area to bring back masking requirements after a slew of cities and states dropped restrictions as cases began trending downward in January.

The city will move to its second level of Covid-19 restrictions, which requires Philadelphians to wear masks in all indoor public places, including schools, businesses, restaurants and government buildings.

China Mocks Nancy Pelosi for Contracting Coronavirus

Chinese state media on Friday gleefully mocked U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for contracting the Wuhan coronavirus, snidely informing Pelosi that she should abandon any plans to visit Taiwan lest she infect the island.

The state-run Global Times approvingly quoted a hashtag on Weibo, China’s heavily-censored version of banned Twitter, that sarcastically advised Pelosi to talk to a doctor about her infection instead of talking to Taiwanese “secessionists”:

The development received high attention on social media, with netizens urging Pelosi to abandon any dangerous plans. “Get well soon, but forget about a Taiwan visit. You won’t want to see the consequences,” said a Weibo user.

”She not only needs to overcome [Chinese coronavirus], but should also seek treatment for the ‘messing up the world’ disease. Many US politicians should see a doctor for that,” another net user said on Sina Weibo.

“Since the US has removed most epidemic restrictions, I bet Omicron is nothing to worry about. The biggest problem is hegemonic mentality embedded in her, and many others’ minds,” said another.
